this is seriously the easiest class I have ever taken in my life! I hardly go to class and get A's on all of my tests! If you ever have to choose between this math class and another one, pick this one!
this is seriously the easiest class I have ever taken in my life! I hardly go to class and get A's on all of my tests! If you ever have to choose between this math class and another one, pick this one!
She teaches things very straightforward. Calc 2 is not easy, but she makes it as easy as it can be. She gives practice tests that are very helpful to prepare for tests.
Great math teacher!!! Great class too!!!
Ms. Ledet is a great teacher and very helpful. I highly recommend her.
She prints out notes on the material she is covering for you and she is very easy to understand. If you have to take 1021 take her!
She was really easy to understand and she doesn't assume that you know everything about math. I would highly recommend taking her. She is so friendly and nice. Go to class to get extra points and on holidays she brings candy
If you go to class, you should do excellent. I'm not very good at math in general, but I got an A. She goes over the material thoroughly and reviews test material the day before a test. I was shocked at how few people attended. After the first week or 2 less than 1/4 of the class showed up. This class teaches you lots of useful things.
Extremely easy if you attend the class regularly. Goes over tests the day before and is very nice. Highly recommend this class.
Very easy math class, even the professor said so. She is very helpful and is eager and willing to answer your questions during class. She is also very patient. She never took attendance, so going to class isn't necessary if you understand everything.
Ms. Ledet is a great teacher! She's sweet and really cares about her students. Classwork is pretty much all done online, and the course material is very easy. All you need to do is put forth a small amount of effort and you can pull off a 100. She even says that you "Don't need to be a math person to do well."
TAKE HER IF YOU CAN. Class is optional if you understand material. easiest math class ever. all homework and quizes online.
It seems like she doesn't really know what she is teaching very well. Her tests are very easy and she is a really understanding teacher. She will work with you if you need help.
she explains all the math step by step very clearly. you only need to go to class if you're struggling. if you do all the homeworks and quizzes, you'll get an A.
Great teacher, you can pretty much talk her into anything. She is very helpful and will extend homework grades for almost any reason.
I really hate math in general, but this is one of the easiest classes I've ever taken! I literally only went to class the first day and still got a high A (which was awesome because it was a 7:30 a.m. class - groan!). If you buy the online textbook, literally everything you need is online - quizzes, homework, and even tests!
i dont understand if shes changed her teaching style or what, but 4 our class, shed go off of notes shes taken over the last few years, which is good in theory, but shed waste time explainin minor details & not going over what is important, and shed forget she didnt teach us certain things but put them on the test anyway.shes nice but unintelligent
Frankly, I haven't been to class since the first few weeks of school. The class teaches itself, but she's good if you need more help.
She's a crappy professor. She likes to pretend to give a crap, but when you need help, she's nowhere in sight.
She uses notes from previous years. Class only met once a week for an hour, so there was no time for questions or explanations. Also, she isn't very organized. Somewhat easy class, but MyMathLab sucks.
Not a very good teacher. Would over clarify pointless things and spend all her time copying definitions instead of doing examples. I taught myself from the book and only went to class for bonus. Gives difficult tests compared to how poorly she teaches. Very nice lady...but would tell a lot of pointless stories instead of teaching.
Easiest math class at LSU. You don't even have to go to class, it's an easy A. She often pushes back due dates and everything is online. so EASY love her!
Really just a funny class to take. Attendance is no where close to mandatory. Just do everything on MML and an A or B is almost impossible to miss. Easiest math class you can take. As far as her teaching...I know more about her past than I do about this math course.
this is the easiest math at LSU by far. went to class ONCE and made an A. do all the mathlab homeworks and quizzes and its impossible to get anything under an A. unless you dont put forth any effort. drops 6 lowest tests/quizzes and final replaces lowest test if its higher. take this if you need an easy A.
If you aren't a math-oriented person like me, this is the class for you. Ledet is very accommadating and reviews material until you understand everything. Class was virtually empty, but it would behoove you to go. I'd say it's very hard to get lower than a B in the class.
EXCELLENT TEACHER! I took the class for intersession. She is a wonderful teacher. The math was easy. Boosted up my GPA! She is very helpful. She used to teach elementary kids so she explains everything thoroughly! Take her!!!
To be honest, sitting through her class was like getting teeth pulled. My grades were excellent, but forcing myself to go to class was torture. My advice is this; show up for the first few days of class, schedule your exams, and then just have the textbook teach you everything. Otherwise, don't waste your time showing up.
I didn't go to the class once and got an A. There's a lot of annoying homework and quizzes online due weekly, but it's super easy.
Course material is on about an 8th grade level. I didn't remember some info from high school but I was able to quickly learn/remember and make all A's without even going to class. When I did go to class I could tell Mrs. Ledet is a good caring teacher who goes over things VERY thoroughly. Easy A.
Ledet is super nice, caring, helpful, and prepared. Do not talk though or she'll catch you even in a big auditorium! She gave me opportunities to finish hw I had forgotten, and I'll always be grateful she was so understanding.
This is the easiest class you will ever take at the college level (for a math class). Ms. Ledet is very thorough and very helpful if you need it. She gives ample opportunity to succeed for those who take it. Made an A in here and didn't attend class that much.
One of my best professors at LSU! Although her class is super easy and you never have to go, she makes sure you're prepared for every test. She's also very understanding about deadlines. Do your homework's and pay attention and you'll get a given A!
This class is probably the easiest math course available at LSU. I went to class 3 times and ended with a high A. However, everytime I did go to class Ledet taught everything very clearly and did a great job understanding deadlines etc. TAKE THIS!
This is literally the easiest math class that LSU offers. You don't even have to go to class because you can just teach yourself the material online through MyMathLab like I did. I'm not sure how helpful she is as a teacher since I rarely attended class, but when I did, I felt like I wasn't learning anything.
Ms. Ledet is an ok teacher. Her class is easy don't get me wrong but her class is boring and she just drags on. do homework's, and quizzes, and you'll make a good grade and you won't have to go to class. I stopped going halfway cause the material was very easy.
This is def a freshman course. I HATED going to class, bc she treats students as if they are babies You can learn all of her material at home and do really well. It is easier than other maths courses, but you still have to apply yourself. She was nice, but very annoying. She went up to make students stop talking once -___- mind u it is in d Cox Gym
Mrs. Ledet is a very sweet lady. She's very helpful and makes math look easy. Class is not mandatory because you do everything through MyMathLab (no textbook), but she gives hints about the tests if you go to class. Oh and she will call you out for talking.
I am HORRIBLE in Math but this class was an easy A!!! She explains things clearly and gives you plenty of examples to help you. If you have trouble with a problem she will stop and slowly work it for you. You don't need the textbook but you do need the computer program. Go to class and do the homework and you will be fine.
This is literally the EASIEST class LSU has to offer! you don't have to go to class because you can basically teach yourself EVERYTHING on MyMathLab. I just can't stress how easy the class is! You get unlimited tries on HW problems and 10 chances on quizzes, plus she uploads a practice test for every test!
EASIEST CLASS IN THE WORLD. The material is very simple but it can get annoying and tedious at times. Going to class honestly isn't worth your time because she doesn't use the class time productively. Half of it seems to be spent repeating pointless information about the course or about MyMathLab, not the actual material. Easy A if you care to try!
She's super sweet and the class is so so easy. You never have to go because everything is online. If you do go, her lectures are super easy to understand and she will help you out if you need it. TAKE THIS CLASS
Uses MathLab for weekly homework assignments and quizzes that really affect your grade; homework and practice test look just like exams. If you do your homework, you shouldn't have a problem getting an A in the class. Ledet is nice and understanding, so if you ever have a problem just go talk to her and she'll work with you.
Very easy class. Was an elementary school teacher at some point so she talks like she's teaching third graders. Easy way to get your math credit.
I very rarely attended class, because all homeworks and quizzes were online. As long as you stay on top of these assignments and have a general understanding of the material, you should be fine. Be sure to go to class if there is a topic you are confused on though, and learn calculator tricks to make life much easier! Unbelievably easy course.
She talks about the syllabus every day until the drop period ends. IF you come to class towards the end of the semester, she'll give you extra credit, If you take the online practice tests and keep up with the other assignments you'll be fine for the exams. I used the class as time to get ahead in that class and work on things for other classes.
EASIEST CLASS AT LSU. I finished with about a 99.8% It was so easy. Stay on top of assignments, do the practice tests the night before and you will do great on tests. I scored over a 98 on every single test. Use mymath lab to basically teach you and help you solve the problems. You don't have to go to class but some classes are bonus (u wont need)
Easiest college class I've ever taken. I never went to class either. Just do the homework on MathLab and you'll be sure to get an A.
Ledet is an EASY A. I hardly went to class and had no trouble. This class uses Mymathlab so it's easy to learn everything online on the program. The skills we learned were very simple. She was very helpful if you had an issue. Goes slow, can be boring. At one point she gave bonus points for going to class but not the entire semester. EASY A
Be prepared to teach yourself the material. She reads directly from the book and copies the exact examples in the book. Won't learn much. The test are difficult. If you ask for help the only thing she tells you to do it to work the odd problems. She gives pop quizzes if attendance is low. Replaces lowest test score with your final exam score.
She is extremely nice and teaches right out of the book so you will not be surprised by what kind of problems to expect. Her tests are usually semi easy and she gives 2 bonus points each test. Best way to do well is to study her old exams on noteswap because she likes to stick to the same type of problems. Replaces lowest exam with final grade.
I went to two classes and came out with a B. I only got a B because I kept forgetting to do the homework. The material is SUPER easy--and I'm AWFUL at math.
Dr. Ledet (or Dr. Angel as my friend and I called her) was an amazing professor! I went in with a weak calc 1 background and she helped me master the concepts. She doesn't make it easy on you but it's hard to make calc 2 easy. If you put in the effort she is there to help. She will in depth cover all of the concepts that you need for calculus.
Math 1029 is a very easy course, so I stopped going to class. You just have to make sure that you do your homework on mymathlab. She sends email reminders about HW and quizzes. She is very willing to help and has lots of office hours. Very nice lady.
simple math
Dr. Leader is such an amazing professor. She's a very warm and friendly person and does her best to make sure everyone does well! The course is mostly online; I think i would go to class 1/3 days a week and I made an A.
It's all on mymathlab. Honestly, it doesn't matter if you go to class or don't in the beginning.. BUT after midterms is when you shouldn't miss more than once a week. The work doesn't get hard, it's just not stuff most people have learned before. Easy A if you do all hw & ace the quizzes. Tests are exactly the practice tests she gives. SO DO THEM!!
This math class is a breeze! She is a bit quirky, but in a funny way. Its all on MyMathLab and she will usually extend due dates and make sure everyone can finish their work. She's very sweet and understanding. Even the worst person at math can ace this course.
Ledet's class is a very easy math class but she is an excellent teacher. She explains things very clearly and even gives a review before the test.
She is quirky and entertaining. She will work out homework and most quizzes in class and will extend the dates they are due. You can tell she wants us all to do well, and the class is also very easy. You don't really need to go to class, but I went and used the class time to do quizzes and do homework.
This class was really easy and the teacher is very helpful.
Great class. Very easy. She's a great teacher and is very helpful and entertaining. Going to class isn't really necessary but she does work out the homework and quizzes a lot in class. Easy A if you are looking for one
I'm terrible at math, but I have an A+ with this class. She explains everything in such a clear way. I had fun doing the homework & quizzes! Best teacher i've had at LSU. Going to class helps a lot. Practice the homework for tests bc she only uses a few Q's from the practice tests & usually changes them slightly. She's so nice & helpful. TAKE HER!
Easy for me bc I stayed ahead on the homework. drops your two lowest homework and lowest quiz and the grade you make on your final replaces your lowest test grade. She makes sure we are prepared for exams.I didn't go to class ever but I teach myself so It's your personal preference. She does give extra cred in class DO NOT BUY THE BOOK just mathlab
Super easy class! It was my last math credit needed, and it was the easiest math I've ever had. I stopped going to class after the first month, because all the homework, and the textbook, are online--and all tests are taken at the testing center. She gives a lot of chances to get a high grade on an assignment.
Professor Ledet moves very slowly. She writes EVERY SINGLE STEP on the board. This can help you learn it better, and if you takes notes of everything you have a clear map of how to solve the problem you can refer back to. But because of her slow pace, you only get a few problems worked per class (one of each type).
Class was ridiculously easy, would take again in a heartbeat
Never went to class. Just do the homework and quizzes and you'll be fine. She pushes back due dates all the time.
Super easy class. I never went to class and still did fine. I'm not a math wiz and had to study for tests, but overall I was able to teach myself the material
It's Calculus II what else can I say. Do the homework to learn how to work the problems.
Something that can become really aggravating is how many times she tends to push back due dates for assignments & not putting grades in moodle in a timely matter. Pushing back the dates comes in handy at the end of the semester, she opens up all assignments for you to study for the final! easily can make 100s on everything.
Ledet is the best option for Calculus II, too bad she doesn't teach for about half the semester. For the entirety of Chapter 11, Sequences and Series, the TA taught. He was awful. Did not teach very well, did not give good enough examples, and was hard to follow. But when Ledet taught, it was awesome. Take her if you can, beware the TA
Dr. Ledet's class was incredibly easy! All homework, quizzes, & tests are on mymathlab. She pushes back homework and quiz due dates all the time. She even opens them all up again at the end of semester to help improve on your grade. Her practice tests are almost exactly what you'll see on her exams! Show up to class for bonus points!
She can get off topic sometimes during class, but she's usually good about explaining all the general information you should know to help with the homework and quizzes that are due. At the end of the semester, she opened up all of the homework and quizzes for us to study and have a chance to raise our grade
Literally went to class twice and got a B+. Lots of work, but it's all online. Tests are weighted really high though. I got 100% on every homework and quiz and mid to high Bs on the tests, but ended with a B+ because of weights.
Class is so easy. Most of the work is online, but I'd recommend going to class too. She's a good teacher, but the class in general is boring. Definitely the class I'd suggest for getting out of math.
She is really sweet however she tends to be very repetitive, however can be very clear and good with teaching. Ask for help and she is more than willing to do what ever it is you need.... check youtube for helpful videos she puts up! Also her deadlines are always extended! Math 1029 overall is the easiest math class.. review from middle school
Incredibly easy. She assigns a good bit of online work, but always pushes the dates back. I can't see how this class would challenge anyone, and attendance is not necessary if you do the homework and know the material you've probably learned since elementary school. Easy A
A class you don't have to go to at all, but can still pass because all graded assignments are online, so check regularly. She's very very nice and moves dates back every time. If you see her outside of class and say hi, she will give you bonus points. She genuinely cares about students and is such a nice woman. Stuff I learned in middle school.
Super easy class. I never went and still got an A. She also always pushes the assignments back on MYMathLab.
Very easy class, with flexible deadlines in case you can't make it to every assignment that she assigns. She is very polite and easy to talk to, and very understanding if you have to move a deadline back.
One of the nicest professors you'll ever meet. The class is really easy so you're fine if you miss a day, but go anyway because she likes it when people show and sometimes has surprises, like candy, extra credit, or an interesting story. Does review days before tests if you have questions. Flexible homework due dates. All work is online.
Such an easy class. Take it if you have the opportunity!
Ms. Ledet is such a sweet woman. She likes to tell stories about herself in class. She is extremely lenient with deadlines, as long as you have a legitimate excuse. At the end of the semester, she opens up all of the homework on MyMathLab for us to "study" (do) the homework! I would take her again!
Love this crazy lady 3 I've never been good at math, so I was initially worried about taking this class, but math was my highest grade this semester (99 A+). You don't have to show up to class, but I recommend going anyway because she's a fun professor! She usually extends the deadlines, but you definitely won't need the extension.
She is wilding. Love her. But a little off. That being said take this class. You don't have to show up but towards the middle of the semester some of the concepts are nice to have an additional explanation on. Do not get behind on homework or quizzes or you will hate your life at the end of the semester.
I literally only went to class on syllabus day and never again and got an A. If you passed 5th grade, you'll be fine.
Easiest math professor/class. Go to class on review days because she will give you some of the questions on the test. I went more towards the end as some of the work was a little confusing to me. She's very helpful and nice. She gives you a lot of extensions for the due dates and opens them back up at the end of the semester.
This class was incredibly easy. She did have many homework and quizzes online, but they did not count for much of the grade and were easy to complete. She goes over the test questions in class before every test. The material was incredibly easy (the year started with converting decimals to fractions). It was an easy A.
I never went to class and still got an A. HOWEVER, one time she told us to take the test in Himes on either Friday, Monday, or Tuesday. Naturally, no one signed up for Friday because of course you want the extra few days to study. So Sunday night she emailed us at 11 pm saying that everyone would have to take the test tomorrow. Deal breaker.
Easy class, I went maybe once a month and didn't get lost in the course. Just do the homework and quizzes until you get 100% (which isn't challenging and you get numerous attempts), and you'll get a good grade in the class. She is super understanding and relatable when you come to her with issues, super lenient with due dates.
She was one of my favorite professors. She knew she was teaching the easiest math and dumbed it down so a toddler could understand it. I wish all the math courses we like that. She is very nice and funny. The only thing is when she's teaching she kind of rambles on and on and gets off topic.
It's pretty boring if you show up to lecture (which, you don't need to), but the material is easy to learn on your own and all assignments/tests are computer based. Ledet is actually a very sweet and understanding person, so if you need an extension on homework or a test, she'll give it to you - though half the time she extends it on her own.
When she says to do the odd problems in the book, do them. If you put in the practice you will be successful. She is teaches at a good pace for a math class. Easy to understand and handwriting is neat. Very respectful to students and is very open to questions.
Easiest professor at LSU, truthfully this class is a joke. I was told to be prepared for multiplication and division, class ends in four days and that's hardly the truth. Be prepared for addition and subtraction. I've been to 4 of the 40ish lectures and have a 95 solely because lack of effort. 3 hour credit, nothing but a GPA booster.
Probably the best math prof at lsu. Its calc 2, yea its hard, and you have to work the textbook problems like she says, and problems are just like the test.
Ledet was pretty good. She enjoys teaching and tried to make the class as fun as she could. It was probably the easiest math class I have ever taken in my life. There were a lot of math problems in the homework, but I usually did it all in class. Tests were pretty standard and taken from homework and practice tests. It's fine. No attendance needed.
Ledet is the sweetest person ever. For 1029 I skipped for 3 weeks straight and at least once every other week and still did fine. You have to take course through MyMathLab which isn't very fun but it's still super easy.
Dr. Ledet truly cares that every student in her class performs to the best of their ability. She's a fantastic teacher and knows how to express the material in an easy and clear fashion. Attendance isn't mandatory but be prepared for a rare pop quiz. If you do the odd problems like she tells you, this course is an easy A+.
Ledet is super lenient with due dates and always pushes them back or reopens assignments. Attendance isn't mandatory, I went maybe once a month and did fine in the course.
Can literally teach yourself the material. Changes due dates a lot so give you flexible time to finish assignment. Easy class
She gets off topic really quick. But she gets the job done to a degree
Love her! Super nice and caring. Will literally do everything in her power to help you receive the highest grade possible!
Dont have to go to the lectures. All homework and quizes are nline and you can actually learn from the homework. Easy A,
Dr. Ledet is sweet, older lady. She often gets off topic, but she gets the work done. The work is all online & you can teach yourself. You can skip for a month and still make an A, if you try. I recommend going to class when you are clueless on how to do the assignments. She pushes due dates back a lot & loves when people ask questions. Easy A.
Barely ever showed up to class and still made an A. Definitely should be an online course because she barely teaches. Class is more you teach yourself and then go to her with questions during the actual class time. Overall easy A and by far the easiest math at LSU.
I went to class a total of three times, and honestly that was probably too many. All of the work for this class can be done on MyMathLab. That can be a lot every now and then, but she opens back up everything at the end of the semester. Sometimes I forgot I was taking this class. Ledet is a great woman 10/10
Went to class for maybe 3 weeks. She does give extra credit for being in attendance, so if you want/need it, then you'll need to go to class. Test are extremely easy, definitely an easy A. Also Dr. Ledet is really nice and always ready to help!
Easy gen-ed math class.
Dr. Ledet is caring about her students' grades. Math 1029 is arguably the easiest math at LSU, so the classes go a little slow if you know what you're doing already. She gives a lot of opportunities for bonus and making up assignments. She frequently pushed back the homework. Overall sweet woman and good teacher
I enjoyed having Dr. Ledet as my math teacher! She made math class so fun and I enjoyed going to the class. Right before finals, she opened everything from my math lab for you to re do any homework or quizzes. It is important to go to class to know what is going on but I barely went and taught myself because the math is so easy. Take this class!
Not mandatory to attend lectures. She usually spends 1 class teaching a new lesson and 1 doing homework problems on the board that people email her questions about. I went to every lecture but just used that time to complete the homework, so I never had to do homework outside of class time. Lenient on due dates and will change them if you ask.
Attendance is non-mandatory, but she will randomly gives bonus points for attending (enough to bump you up to the next +/-). Always changes HW due dates. I would attend lecture and use that time to complete all my HW and quizzes and never had anything to take home. Just put fort min. effort, attend class, and you will succeed
super boring/annoying ex saying "prAHblems" instead of problems 50x a day @8am gets old. not very helpful at all, it just seems like she's doing a decent job sometimes since the class isn't that hard to start with.
This class is an easy A if you put in the work. Ledet goes over chapters in class and works example problems. Also works problems that people have questions about. She is super lenient on due dates, all you have to do is ask her for more time! Class isn't mandatory, but I usually go because she offers bonus points randomly.
If you take Dr. Ledet for Math 1029 then here is my honest opinion: you can get an A in the class without going if you actually do all of your homework and quizzes and take the test seriously, even though ALL of the work is easy. Her in class teachign style is quite sporadic so it's not for everyone but she's there if you need her. Easy A though
Dr. Ledet cares a lot about her students, she would many times push due dates and even let us use formula sheets on most tests. She was clear and taught exactly what would be on the tests. Go to class days after the tests because she usually gives bonus for being there. She made calc 2 bearable and would recommend her to anyone!!
TAs do the grading so be warry of missgrading. Changes her mind alot on diffrent things
Ms. Ledet is so hilarious and her teaching style is very easy to understand and follow. She uses real life examples to help you understand the material and is willing to work with you as far as grading and extra help. This class is huge meaning 300-500 students but it doesn't feel that way. She sometimes extends the online homework assignments.
Great teacher who genuinely cares about her students and helping them.
Dr. Ledet is awesome and caring. If math isn't your strong suit, like me, she's the perfect professor. She is also very gracious at extending deadlines. It's extraordinarily difficult to get less than a B- you'd seriously have to do nothing. Good class for the procrastinator!
Super easy you can skip every class and make a B if you do all the homework and quizzes
Dr. Ledet might be a nut, but she is a very good professor. This class is extremely easy, and this class is the first time I've ever received straight A's in math. I always go to class, its not mandatory, but I just think you should go to math class the most bc she tells you how to do the math. It's easy.
If you do all your homework on mymathlab, you will pass with flying colors. This class was required for my major and i went a total of 5 times and i made an A+.
I would not take her as a teacher if you have other options. she spent a week going over what calculator we can use and when she teaches she talks to everyone like she's a kindergartner's teacher. Lectures are extremely boring and simple and don't cover anything on the homework or quizzes.
The math itsself is easy but she makes it even better. She just really wants everyone to pass and have equal opportunities in her class. You will have to try your hardest to fail because she gives you many ways to keep your grade up. Go to class and you will easily pass the tests with 100s!
She is THE BEST. This class was dumb easy. The class is in a 1000 person auditorium so there is no way to take attendance. She takes the class really slow and will push back homework and quiz dates if you email her. She is always open for questions and is willing to work outside of class if needed. I skipped class like 1-2 a week and I got an A.
1029 with Ledet is a breeze, you don't have to go to class, just keep up with your homework and quizzes and you'll be fine. If you have an issue, she's super understanding so don't be afraid to talk to her about it. Make sure you do well on the tests because they make your grade and the best way to study is just taking the practice tests.
As long as you do all the homework and quizzes youll be fine. Tests are somewhat challenging but if you study youll pass. Your grade on your final will also replace your lowest test score in the class so thats nice too. She extends due dates all the time. One of the best math professors Ive had
Super easy math credit. A lot of the stuff is self-teachable so I didn't go to class, but when I did, she listened to the students on what was hard and went step by step through the problems. She told you exactly what was going to be on the tests.
There is a ton of hw and it's very repetitive and monotonous, but if you put in the slightest bit of effort and complete all of your assignments, there's no reason why you shouldn't make an A. Tests are all easy. This is a basic math class, you just have to study. I took her class online over the summer. She is very accessible and super sweet.
Prof Ledet is an extremely sweet person, and as a professor she cares so much. You can always go up to her after class and she will help you. She gets lost in her lectures and tends to mix up where she left off in different classes. You dont need to go to class but she does give a lot of random bonus for random reasons. Got up to 6 points one class
Professor Ledet is a really nice teacher but sometimes get off on tangents about nothing. Be lucky the material is easy because she can get off track. Outside of class, she is very accessible and loves to talk math. She is nice enough to make videos of the harder questions and post them to Youtube. That really helps with the MathXL assignments.
Never went to class only for review days and still passed. Test are identical to practice test so take those and you will pass.
Ledet is great at 1029 is the easiest class at LSU. Also she extended the homework on my math lab a lot to make sure we all got it done. The only thing that's annoying is the my math lab homework, but if you get that done you really don't have to go to class.
not a very good teacher, take her class if you can teach yourself. course material is relatively easy. she will call you out for talking, especially in a smaller class. i didn't pay attention 99% of the time, just did the homework and showed up for attendance points (5% of grade this semester)
Extremely easy class, if your IQ is higher than a monkey's than you should pass with an A. Loads of homework but extremely helpful when it comes to reviewing for tests. Practice tests are exactly like the tests. I would study the night before doing a few practice tests and pass the tests with 100% while never going to class
Super easy class. Easy homework if you keep up with the due dates. She also has grace periods on homework which is nice.
Easiest class I've ever taken. Professor Ledet is so nice and truly cares about her students a lot. She can be a little all over the place but she means no harm. I made a 100.5% in the class because I made hundreds on all her test and she gave two bonus opportunities. Would take again if I could !
This class is extremely easy and Dr. Ledet was very nice. She gave random bonus throughout the semester. Attendance is not mandatory at all. Towards the middle of the semester I stopped going because all the material was learned during the homework. There is a lot of homework but its easy and helps boost your grade.
You use My Math Lab for everything: homework, quizzes, & exams. She gives you plenty of time to get your work done. She uses grace periods where she leaves all assignments open until the Sunday after the exam. Shes always willing to help and very laid back but if you talk during her lecture she is not afraid to call you out.
Ledet is a VERY easy class. I went to her class a number of times and was able to finish the course with an A+. Practice tests will help SIGNIFICANTLY, and she also posts her lectures on YouTube. So essentially you don't really *need* to go to class because all the necessary information are easily accessible. BUT, it all depends on how you learn.
Take her for an easy math credit. I went to class once out of the whole semester and just did all the homework and quizzes and studied a little bit for her exams and passed with a B+. She's really easy and she lets you make up exams too. She's kind of a nut, but she really cares about the students.
Football math meets calculus. Worked my butt off for an A in Calc I but pretty much breezed through her Calc II. Do the homework problems. She'll never throw a curveball on tests and gives you the easy/moderate problems instead of testing you on the hardest stuff in the book.
The professor didn't actually teach the material. She spends 40 minutes doing two problems from the homework. Mostly writing down instructions and unnecessary definitions. Once she finally completes that, she uses the last ten minutes of class to start the new material for homework and tests. You WILL have to teach yourself most of the material.
Take this as your math credit. Im not a math person and didnt go to class after the first month and got an A. The homework will show you how to do every problem and she posts youtube videos from her lectures. The tests are exactly like the practice tests, easier even, so as long as you physically do the work you should be fine.
She's pretty good compared to other MATH 1552 teachers, but that's not saying much. You can easily find her old tests. Her current tests are a mixture of old tests and homework problems. Homework is given sparingly as well as pop quizzes. Her lectures are extremely boring.
Way too much homework!!!!
She's pretty boring but it's easy to find old tests. Some pop quizzes but not too hard.
If you are not taking professor Ledet for calc 2 you are doing something wrong! I got a C- in calc one and this woman made calc 2 a breeze for finishing with an A-. Yes she is very boring but she is so thorough and a great over all professor. She gives a lot of points mostly through homework from the text book, and pop quiz which are super easy.
If you need to take Calculus II this is the professor to take. Dr. Ledet teachers everything in a way the students can understand, and she prepares you for what will be on the test exactly. I struggled through Calculus I and breezed through Calculus II with Dr. Ledet.
Top tier professor. She's sweet and her tests are upfront and aren't underhanded. She's very clear of what she wants and even has old tests on moodle. Notably adapted AMAZINGLY to the transfer of online classes due to covid, by far the best out of all of my teachers. She's amazing, seriously, would absolutely recommend.
Easiest math class you'll ever take. Dr. Ledet does a great job of explaining the problems. Almost all due dates are soft.
Ledet is nice teacher who let me make up assignments. However, I found my tutor/girlfriend who's your typical high school honor student felt very comfortable with this material and was helpful teaching me. As an art student, I found this class challenging but if you apply yourself, it's not a horrible experience. #winning #tigerking #I<3nerds
I never went to this class, so I'm not sure how she is in person. She seemed like a good professor, easy to learn from. She would e-mail us with whatever information we needed. The homework and quizzes are very easy. The test is very straight forward. You need to take the practice test multiple times just to make sure you see a variety of problems.
Dr. Ledet was a really great calculus teacher. She gave plenty of examples during class and tells you exactly what to do to get a good grade. The homework she gives you is optional but she does random checks throughout the semester. Also, she does random attendance quizzes so make sure you go to class. My only complaint is that her class was boring
Always full of energy. Her lectures make you interested in the subject. She is a great teacher. You will definitely leave the class prepared for the harder math courses.
Dr. Ledet's class is so easy that you don't need to show up. Every assignment is very straight forward and she gives grace periods for each chapter. As long as you do the work you will be fine.
Ledet is probably one of my top professors as she is actually easy to understand. If you watch her lectures, pay attention, and don't fall behind, you can easily pass her calculus class. She tells you what is on the test and what to study, in addition, she will also email you a few times to remind you as well.
Dr Ledet is a great math teacher and I would have finished with an A or an A+ had it not been for the TA Sana Issa. She doesn't curve but the tests are very straight forward if you know the material and she does a ton of lectures and gives lots of homework but only graded 20 lessons out like 40.
Fantastic teacher who is able to take complicated concepts and explain it in a way that even a toddler can understand. She truly cares about her students and very understanding. However if you miss the lecture and fall behind its hard to catch up.
Best math teacher I have taken in years. Class was online and I didn't study the material, so I failed the tests and had to withdraw. But, if I had the chance to take her again over the summer I absolutely would. For the lectures I actually watched, she explained it so well. She allows formula sheet for 1552. Lots of HW but she usually extends it.
I knew absolutely 0 calculus because my Calc 1 professor was so bad and I was nervous for Calc 2. Ledet is one of the best teachers I have had. She has lots of examples and puts out previous tests for you to study from. You definitely need to know what you are doing and the tests are graded very particularly, you have to show all steps. TAKE HER!
TAKE HER! I have always been a D-average student in math courses, however this semester I am coming out with an "A". She takes time to answer your questions, open during office hours, and if you pay attention to lectures, you will pass! Do the homework, quizzes, and practice exams and you will fly by!! Take her, you won't regret it!!
Caring. Lectures are very clear and concise.
best prof I've had at LSU. Explains everything step by step and will review any concept from cacl1 or algebra if you ask her to. She allows a handwritten formula sheet for each test in 1552 which is extremely helpful. I would absolutely take her again if she taught any upper level math courses.
Julia Ledet is a real gem. Easily one of the best professors I've had at LSU. Calculus II has a reputation of the hardest of the 3 Calcs but Dr. Ledet was brilliant. I never utilized her office hours but her reviews before tests were gold. Replaces lowest test grade w final which was VERY helpful for me and I ended up with an A.
She is a great teacher and extremely sweet and caring. A real gem.
Professor Ledet is great. Stopped going to class after the first few days because lectures are boring but was still able to do very well. She is lenient about HW and extended HW's and quizzes till end of semester. Tests are easy as long as you read the book and do problems in the back. Only complaint is that it takes forever to get tests back.
Dr. Ledet is one of the best math teachers I've ever had. She goes quite slow, so it is very easy to understand what she's teaching. Her tests are very similar to the practice tests she posts on Moodle. If Dr. Ledet is an option for your math class, TAKE HER. I was always told that Calc II is super hard, but Dr. Ledet made it super easy. Love her.
Dr. Ledet is extremely nice, and she makes really hard material easier to understand. She drops/replaces your lowest test, so if you completely bomb a test, you'll be okay. Of course since it is calculus this course is not easy, but Ledet makes it easier to understand.
If you're someone who stinks at math - take Dr. Ledet! I'm bad at math but this class was extremely easy. Keep up with the homework, do study guides, attend the review sessions and you'll pass. The exams are exactly like the study guides. CON: She is not good with email at all is. Unorganized but isn't strict with deadlines. 100% would take again!
I've taken this class more times than I'd like to admit, but it was never Ms. Ledet's fault at all. She is the best possible teacher for Calc II at LSU. She can be a bit hard to contact through email but you can just talk to her after class. I'm probably gonna have to retake this again and I will do my best to make sure it's her class if I do.
Dr. Ledet is very laid-back and her class was super easy as long as you did the stuff on MyMathLab and the exams. Mr. Muffuletto also taught this alongside her but really didn't do much at all. She records all of her lectures and has a YouTube channel if you need any help outside of class or can't make office hours. Super easy Gen-Ed, take it!
Dr. Ledet is a great teacher! she's very flexible and is willing to help. tests are simple and similar to the textbook problems, but grading is tough even with partial credit. the webassign homework is pretty hard for no reason, but she only grades some of the assignments and drops the rest.
Professor Ledet is a GREAT professor for math even if you aren't a huge math person. She gave us the option to go online since she does zoom and records every meeting. there's A LOT of homework but its not hard. Final exam replaces lowest test grade and gives you plenty grace period to finish assignments. She also holds review sessions for exams
Calculus 2 is going to suck regardless of who teaches it, and Dr. Ledet is your best bet. I barely went to class, and the study material and 2+ hour review sessions she holds before each test helped me do well enough to get a B. The amount of homework is pretty intense, but she drops a good bit of it, and it can boost your grade. Very nice lady.
Dr. Ledet is always willing to make time to accommodate questions on problems. She made Calculus 2 manageable. I highly recommend her as a professor.
Dr. Ledet is very sweet and caring for her students. She gives MANY opportunities to make up any late work and get the best grades possible. Her lectures are good but sometimes she can get sidetracked, but provides a lot of info. Easy to pass and a great class for non math majors.
So caring and is the best professor! Take her over anyone!!
I got a really good grade in this class but that is because I taught myself everything. She just repeats the same things over and over. She is really unorganized and scatter brained. If you are decent at math you will be fine and it is an easy class, but I did not enjoy the professor at all.
Ledet is a great teacher. Although it can be annoying that she teaches so slow, it can be a benefit for students who aren't great at math. This class was an easy A. You never use the textbook. All resources appear on MML. No math lab hours are required! :)
Ledet clearly lacks a large understanding of technology and lectures often come to a hault everytime she doesn't understand something (as if they weren't slow enough already). That being said the class wasn't extremely hard, and my grade really just reflects my laziness as a freshman. As long as you keep up with the homework and exams you'll be ok.
Very easy class. Attendance was not required, just have to do three tests at Himes and some online homework. No real due dates, and you can retake homework and quizzes multiple times. Definitely recommend her for math 1029.
Ledet was a nice person, although she was very unorganized at points, and tended to ramble about random things. If you take this course, be prepared for information heavy tests, there are two tests, which carry half the info in the class. It was definitely difficult, and I think LSU should change the testing system.
Absolute worst math professor Ive ever had. Lectures were a waste of time. She ran through assignments that were already submitted rather than teaching new lessons which threw us behind severely. The practice tests are for a grade and dont cover material that is actually on the test. Designed to fail
She's unorganized. We had our second test right before our final. She rambles a lot and goes over lessons that we've already turned in. She kept pushing back assignments and due dates. There's about half of the course information on each test which is ridiculous when you have a bunch of variations in each section. The practice tests are graded.
DONT listen to the ppl who gave a bad review. It's a lot of hwk but it helps your grade. Calc isn't easy and u need the practice to learn. She never expects you to know anything and is happy to explain it even if you should already know the material. She goes above and beyond and is very caring. Just don't be lazy & you'll do fine
Fairly difficult material if you don't apply yourself and use the resources she posts on moodle. I respected the fact that she took the time out of her day to conduct 3-4 hour exam reviews to lay out clear step by step methods in solving problems. She's been in our shoes before and she is very understanding of that. Best math teacher I've ever had.
I never went to class because the content was easy to learn on my own and with 900+ in the class they did not take attendance. All work was done online and tested in Himes. Allowed the final grade to replace the lowest test score!
Solid professor. She makes sure that people understand and she is understanding to students. I vibe with her.
One of my favorite math professors thus far. She moved very slow in class but she thoroughly covered the material and was always available to help. She encouraged every student to succeed.
I loved Dr. Ledet. She was always in a great mood and ready to teach. She truly cares about her students. Lectures are important to attend, and she does a review Sunday before the exams. Highly recommend!
Calc 2 is a hard course as it pulls everything you ever learned to the surface. Mrs. Ledet is very nice and caring. She assigns plenty of homework and the tests are similar to the review. Practice and don't get behind and you'll come out fine.
Dr. Ledet really truly shows how she cares about students, and is a thorough teacher that gets everyone to try and understand the math. Unfortunately, business calculus is just a really difficult course, and requires maximum effort to succeed. Dr. Ledet also can sometimes fall behind in the schedule, making the course more stressful at times.
Professor Ledet was always available to help and offered lots of office hours and tutoring but she often pushed assignments back, fell behind schedule, and caused work to pile up on students. So much homework and lots of quizzes that take hours to complete. Exams were also incredibly difficult.
Professor Ledet cares for her students. She happily explains concepts that may not be understandable. She often falls behind on lectures, but the tests are easy. Just make sure to do the review and go to the review session.
Dr. Ledet is the best math teacher I have ever had! She is so sweet, gives great lectures, and prepares us well for the exams. 1552 is a hard class and she made it easy!! Great professor! Defiantly take her!
Slower pace to make sure students understand the concepts, so anyone used to a quicker pace may find that annoying. All classes were recorded and available via zoom. Many concepts could be learned via the textbook without class attendance. Only thing was homework occasionally had problems not discussed in class and only the textbook that were fine.
Dr. Ledet is amazing! She is definitely one of the best professors I have ever taken at LSU. She goes above and beyond to make sure you do well in this class. She goes slow and explains everything so well!
Dr. Ledet is easily the best professor at LSU, she really cares about you understanding the lectures and makes it easy to go to her for help. A lot of your grade comes from exams, however if you do the homework and attend class the exams are easy.
Professor Ledet is one of the most caring professors I have ever had. She is the sweetest and is super understanding. If you attend class and keep up with the Math XLs this class should be no problem an easy math course for sure.
She's a really enthusiastic teacher and as long as you practice a lot of the problems you will do great, she assigns homework and "quizzes" which are just hw a lot, but she allows formula sheets for exams.
She records all lectures and attendance isn't required, so you can catch up on lectures if you miss. She has a way with words that makes math easy to understand. She takes problems with baby steps, which helps for the more complicated topics. If you did the webassign problems, the tests are easy.
Dr Ledet is one of the best professors I've ever had. She cares so much about her students and records lectures and test reviews just in case you missed class or need a recap. She made it really easy to learn the material and prepared her students very well for tests through practice problems and formula sheets.
She's a great teacher, finally understood calculus after this class.
Dr Ledet is one of the best professors that I have ever encountered. She really takes the time to explain new concepts and will walk you through homework problems step by step. I really appreciate all the time she spend doing zoom recordings for my online class, I would highly recommend any of her classes.
Dr. Ledet is the best teacher in the Math Department hands down. She is smart, nice, and cares about her students. She will remove sections of the test to help students and she makes it where homework and quizzes only help your grade. Also she gives old exams to practice and she reuses some of the questions. Take her plz.
By far, she is the best professor I've ever had at any level. She is very understanding of the different levels of knowledge and completed additional lectures outside of Moodle in the evenings. Don't miss the opportunity to take her course!
This class is very hard. Tons of homework expect long hours of homework a day. If you like taking exams on ProctorU this is the professor for you.
God bless this woman. She is the sweetest prof I've had and genuinely cares about her students. I had never taken calculus and she was so helpful. Her tests weren't too hard and she did a study session for every single exam. She came into class every day in a good mood and taught the material so well. TAKE HER.
Her class was amazing. Easy to earn A+.
Understanding and worked around my work schedule to help me pass! Sweet professor and passionate about mathematics
One of the best classes I've taken here. She records all her lectures and uploads lengthy review lectures prior to every exam. Those review lectures were all the study material I needed to do well on her tests. She's very helpful and cares deeply about the subject, She gives out bonus points on her tests too. 10/10 would take again.
Dr. Ledet is the best professor I've had at LSU yet! She was incredibly understanding when it came to illnesses or extenuating circumstances. I believe it was her first time teaching calc 3, but she did an amazing job. Online review sessions before every test and she recorded all of her lectures so class wasn't vital to pass. TAKE DR.LEDET!
Dr. Ledet was very good at explaining the material and simplifying it. I highly recommend taking MATH1029 if you need a math credit because it was a very easy class.
She gives you sooo many chances to correct your grades on homeworks, quizzes, etc. Her lectures are great. She just an amazing professor overall!!
Calculus is hard. Also the way she teaches class is flipped so you learn on your own and go to class for hw help which I think is lazy. BUT she does give amazing grace periods for the hw/quizzes and she send emails regularly. She also puts the class on zoom/ posts recordings of them.
In all my college courses, this is the most outstanding professor I have had. She goes above and beyond for her students. She is always quick answering questions and keeping up with the students emails. She does zoom meetings to help with the class. I can not say enough about the job she does, she is incredible!
Loved her as a professor, although it was a difficult class she works around your schedule. even though I wish she did extra credit/ curve exams. she's amazing.
Dr Ledet is a fantastic teacher, and she is willing to help in any way possible. However, this class is very hard, and it requires a ton of time, as there are a lot of homework assignments and quizzes. There are two exams and a final, and all are on Proctor U, which is an absolute joke. There are also required review exams, which adds to workload.
Dr Ledet is lowkey the best. There's a lot of homework and basically all of grade comes from the test, but the test look identical to the practice test, just with different numbers. I would recommend going to class and the math labs. Consistence is key... math gets extremely hard when you lose your place.
Overall, very accommodating and extends due dates. BUT, incredibly hard to reach. Went MIA after the solar eclipse for 7 days right before our midterm, so no communication there. Two major tests, and a final - all on ProctorU (I'd avoid if I were you). Test are hard and are something that brings your grade down, no matter what you get on HW's.
She was an ok professor and didn't benefit me much going to class. The material of this class is very hard and there's a lot of work that has to be put in to get a good grade in this class. I basically had to learn everything on my own. She does extend deadlines all the time and replaces your lowest test grade with your grade on the final.
She was alright. It was hard to learn any of the concepts because in class all we did was go over 4 or 5 homework problems that were already due and it would take up the entire hour and a half of class. Get ready to basically teach yourself how to do everything. Test were very difficult and test reviews didn't help much either.
Ledet is a Legend! For Business Calc, she reopened all of the homework and quizzes at the end of the year to make sure we can do well in the class. She cares for her students class and always has a smile on her face. I only got a C because of test grades but that is my fault/ himes fault, not hers. Would recommend taking her!
She never taught much, all that was gone over in class was 1-3 homework problems that were already due. If you needed help, the lab was the best bet, and sometimes that wasn't even helpful. You have to teach yourself everything. The practice tests do not have the same information as the actual test. Seems like a good person, but needs another job.
In class, only expect to get about 4-5 homework problems that were from the previous homework. Math labs are kind of helpful/ kind of not. Basically teach yourself everything and do the practice tests at least 5 times to make sure you know majority of what will be on the exam. She did reopen all of the assignments at the end though, so helpful
Dr. Ledet is very fair professor. She gives students grace periods, and replaces your lowest test grade with your final. She also listens to her students' requests. I ended the class with a C, however, it is definitely possible to get a higher grade in this class, especially if you are good at math. I would recommend this professor.
Basically to pass this class, I would recommend not going to the lectures because they do not help much. Instead, spend your time that is scheduled for this class, teaching yourself and doing your homework. Utilize the practice test, although sometimes not all of the questions are on the practice test.
Many opportunities given to increase grade on pearson! Shows that she cares about you passing. Honestly doesn't teach material enough. She goes over homework more than she actually teaches. Go to SI & labs for more 1on1 help. Practice & Studying will help you understand more than lectures.Exams weren't hard as long as you study practice exams & hw.
She was amazind, she included many resources on how to learn the new material, she would give us extensions when she knows that life gets tough. I really recommend you take her class.
The professor makes effort to help students succeed, offering extensions and reopening assignments. However, lectures can be lacking - it's best to focus on self-study, practice tests, and tools like unstuckstudy AI to truly understand the material.
Dr. Ledet is considerate to all students and understands life gets in the way. Numerous extensions for students and pushed back dates. Lots of online video walkthrough of questions. noticed she took a lot of flak for the coursework being too hard or not following the exact same questions study guide. it's a calculus class not supposed to be easy.
There are only a few assignments due each week and they are super easy. There are 3 exams and they are taken in himes. She is very flexible on assignments too.
Dr. Ledet is super nice and cares about her students. Her lectures are helpful and she is not too homework heavy. The online homework you have to do, though, does not correlate with what is actually on the test and is a waste of time. She goes really slowly and explains in lots of detail.
Dr. Ledet is the perfect professor for entrance into college math. I came into Calc 1 with 0 knowledge of calculus. Ended the class with a 98 after getting a 100.5 on the final. Her lectures are very engaging and she explains everything in extreme detail, which is very useful considering half of the words seem like utter nonsense at first. TAKE HER
She is the best math professor on LSU's campus!!!! Class is super easy and if you keep up with your work you are most likely going to end up with an A. She cares about her students too. When the hurricane was expected to hit BR she ended her lecture with a talk on how to stay safe and places to avoid due to flooding to the non-Louisiana natives.
Loved taking this class. Dr. Ledet was great at explaining the material. She would post old exams for you to practice before the test. So if you could do that then you would do just fine on the exam. There were some paper homework that she took up, but it was not bad at all. Would recommend taking her!!
Dr Ledet is the absolute goat, take her
She was super nice and helpful. She gives grace periods if you're late on your homework. And post test reviews. Overall great professor.
I love this professor's teaching style, but I did find it easier to skip the lecture and only attend the labs. just going to the labs and learning through Pearson is what got me through this class. Labs are mandatory not the class itself, your grade will suffer if you dont go, also it is way more helpful than anything else
I find it more useful to not attend class and only attend labs. KEEP UP WITH THE HOMEWORK, and DO NOT USE CHAT GBT! Offered grace periods for homework and was very easy to communicate with and seek help from. Very rare to find a professor that cares as much as Ledet!
Grade is entirely reliant on test scores. The proctoring service utilized is accessing personal data, and currently involved in a lawsuit regarding privacy breaches. Thus, the student is forced to allow a data collection/proctoring service access to their Google Chrome account in order to pass the class.
Professor Ledet is an amazing math teacher. Thank you Professor Ledet!!! What I loved most about this course was the workload was manageable, test were about 30 questions, and she goes over problems on zoom before each test and shows you how to work the problem out so you can follow along and understand.
Professor Ledet has got to be one of the greatest professors I've taken. She goes out of her way to record and go live to ensure (online) students understand concepts that are covered in the exams and homeworks. If you watch her videos & attend zooms youre guaranteed to do well. Wouldnt hesitate to take a math class if I knew she was teaching it.
Julia Ledet is not a good teacher. You will have to teach everything to yourself. She does offer help; however, I ultimately had to use chat gpt to learn the content.
She goes in my opinion above and beyond for her students. At the end of the semester, she reopened all the homework and quizzes so you can better your grade in her class. She also would record lessons on zoom if you need extra help with lessons. I enjoyed her class.
There is no getting around that the class itself is hard. But that's not Professor Ledets fault, Calculus is just a tough class. She goes out of her way to help, whether its thru extensions, re-takes of HW & quizzes, extra zoom meetings to further explain the concepts... She truly cares and is a great professor, its the darn calculus that sucks!
Awesome teacher. She doesn't want you to fail, if you don't have a tutor go to class or watch the zoom recordings. Test are just like the HW just different numbers. Take the practice test at least 5-7 times because all the questions of the test will show up on the practice test. I never got below an 89% on her test bc I studied the practice test.
She is a great professor, just a little heavy on the unnecessary notes in my opinion. The class is A LOT to handle in 7 weeks but totally doable.
I really liked her teaching style but our class got behind so we were learning how to do the math days after homework was due, she does give grace periods though
the class on it's own is fine by professor not so much, I really don't think she is straight forward with her lecture, i started teaching myself the curriculum through Pearson, oh you do have to pay like a $100 to do homework and quizzes that are weekly. The practice test is exactly like the real test which is in Himes. And there is a weekly lab
such a yapper, basically have to teach yourself most of it since she gets distracted but definitely cares about her students.
Huge class so she doesn't take attendance and does zoom for every lecture. Quit going to both about half way through the semester because it was easier to teach myself. Everything is online through Pearson and if you actually learn the material and do the homework, quizzes, and practice test then the exams are easy. All exams are taken in himes.
Good teacher but it took her forever to get through the questions we were doing in class. Very slow teacher so if you like slow paced classes/professors then I'd take her but not very much for fast paced people. Class was super boring and she posts homework that can quickly add up if you don't stay on top of it.
So easy if you put in the time and effort. Just do practice tests and you will pass the tests. No Attendence isn't mandatory math lab is a must.
very nice teacher and class is super easy. they don't call this course football math for nothing. she gives you enough time to do your work on pearson and before finals she opens up all the homework so you could do it if you missed it.
Attendance isnt mandatory and she has online videos and zooms you can watch if you dont want to go or miss class. Also, pearson teaches you everything you need to know. If you have taken calculus before, this class will be very easy for you.
Great person, bad teacher. Does not know how to actually teach people. The course itself isn't too bad though. The practice exams are just like the actual ones so just spam those and you'll be fine. Would take again due to easy course material and easy to access outside of class.
I am not going to lie... this class was not easy. This professor is the BEST! She has many hours worth of lectures and going over study guides to make sure you have what you need to succeed. I took the 7 week course so it was A LOT. If you actually do your work and apply yourself you will pass. If you have to take this class, choose this professor!
If you took Calculus in high-school, this class will be a breeze. However, if you did not, I suggest you find someone who did because many of my friends struggled with this class. Homeworks and quizzes are due pretty much every week and the tests were the exact study guide with different numbers. I loved this class but not sure everyone else did.
While I hate math, I ended with an A thanks to her giving opportunities to boost grades with homework and quizzes. I do feel like I learned a lot even though the class was so large. I did not go to class for a while but I do feel like that hurt me because while I may not have realized, being in class was very helpful. Definitely recommend
Her class was really easy. She had multiple TAs to help her, and they were very helpful if you went to their office hours. I did the online version, but she said I was welcome to attend the lectures. For every lecture, she posts it in Moodle, so if you miss a class, all you have to do is find it there. BUT, she does have assignments on Person.
