Ms Nudel is a good teacher! A lot of the students in my class didn't take the course seriously so they failed! If you communicate with her and ask questions you will get an educated answer. She knows what she is talking about! I got a A in the class by participating and asking questions. She really is an amazing!

This professor is really helpful. If you study and do the homework, you will do fine. A lot of students in my classes did not study or pay attention, so they ended up failing. Very helpful and she does care! There are many chances to do better in the class such as extra credit assignments.

Very nice teacher. She posts exact tests online before actual tests. Cheat sheets are allowed. Very helpful and does care about students and takes time to answer questions throughly. You can bargian with her :). The only bad thing is she gives a lot of HW.

Great Professor. Really knows her math. Her class is so easy. There is a lot of homework, but if you do it you'll do great on the tests. I never used my textbook. But you need My Math Lab.

She is an alright teacher. I like the way she explains it. She basically teaches you something and then will do example problems for the rest of the class to learn it. The homework is all in MyMathLab and she does discussions online which will help your grades. I would recommend her.

Prof. Nudel is an amazing teacher. She is caring, understanding, and funny. She has a great sense of humor, she make the class feel at ease and lets us ask tons of questions. She answers all your questions before you ask them. She doesn't give tons of homework, her tests are always what she promised. She makes learning math a pleasure. I love her.

Miss Nudel is awesome...she gives the math lab that helps ur grade alot...and if you can't get 100 on them then why bother going to COLLEGE because there is no time limit on any of the questions...she drops the lowest test score at the end...i got n A!

REMEMBER FOR ALL MATH COURSES ... as long as u GO 2 CLASS n DO the HOMEWORK n handouts or dicussions u will pass. she drops ur lowest tests score n gives only one or two extra credits but not anything major ... quizes are 2parts... a calculaor part n a no calculator part both being 5 questions each. SHE ALWAYS WILLING TO HELP ... n hw is online ...

She is a good teacher. For every exam she gives a review. Homework is 20% of your grade and she gives you plenty of time to complete it. She is willing to help and is very nice. If you do your work and put the time into understanding the math, getting an A is more than possible. I am taking her again for Precalculus. :)

Great teacher! I took her accelerated class on accident and i was no good at math so i was pretty worried, but her teaching style was so clear and helpful that i suddenly found myself (dont mock me!) enjoying it! Very nice person, course was challenging (cuz it's math) but she made it possible. Take her class!

Took her online. Class is laid out well to help you pass. A mid-term and final are the only tests. Three quizes (lowest grade dropped), weekly discussions and homework. If you are good at math you should get atleast a B with some effort. If you arn't good at math at all (like me)you can still pass and not kill yourself. Just keep up with everything

I highly recommend Professor Nudel. She is organized and sticks to the schedule. Homework assignments are reasonable. She gives a review sheet prior to each test. Tests are fair and returned promptly. The lowest test grade is dropped. She gives many optional bonus assignments to help improve your grade. She cares about her students. Take her!

I took the online precalculus. The class requires a lot of work and time but what else would you expect from an online math course. I earned a high A. Great teacher and makes an A very possible as long as you do your part.

Online: She has lectures, but all you'll be doing is watching MyMathLab videos for your lessons. Book is only good for extra practice (in MyMathLab), so don't buy it, unless you need that reassurance. Do all homework and discussions (both weighed heavily) if you want everything else to be easier. MyMathLab taught me but she cleared up confusion.

Pretty good prof. the material can get a little difficult and her explaniations aren't always clear but she is willing to review during office hours and requires test corrections to make sure you understand the material. lots of groups work which can be both helpful and unhelpful. I didnt buy the text, just mathlab. she posts ex's & study questions

I Took This Class During Summer Term A "12" & I Just Have To Say Hands Down She Is GREAT!! She Gives You STUDY GUIDES (& the study guides work) She Goes Over The Study Guides, Her Explanations Are VERY Clear, & She's (Patient) Her Exams Are 10 Questions ALWAYS, She Drops Your Lowest Exam Grade & Her Final Is 20.. I Passed Her Class With A 92.3% :)

AWESOME TEACHER! I took this class with her after getting a "F" last semester; she explains things clearly, she is patient, helpful, lenient with deadlines if she sees u tried. I'm honestly in love with her teaching skills, if I could, I would take all my classes with her. TAKE HER! you won’t regret it! So far I have an “A” n I actually learned!!

She is a good teacher. She is willing to help if you need help. She doesn't respond promptly to emails. She is also a lenient teacher.She knows how to teach. Homework is on MyMathLab. Her test are not that bad. The group project wasn't that bad either.

Business Calculus is a hard class. Professor Nudel gives test reviews which are very similar to her tests. Tests are easier than reviews. Hard subject but teacher makes it easy. All HW on mymathlab. 4 Tests lowest dropped and one final.

Great professor. I was worried about taking this class online but Professor Nudel is extremely helpful and quick to respond to any questions I had. Tests were all on mymathlab and the work load wasn't unmanageable. There is the opportunity for extra credit as well. Read all the packets she provides and watch the videos and you will be fine :)

In no way is her class an easy A. You must pay attention and do the hw. She gives test reviews before every test and they help a lot! I got 100% on all of the hw and a B on every test after studying for about 1 1/2 hrs max. I had an A in the class, and didn't study for the final which I failed. I ended up with a B. Professor Nudel was great!!! very easy and straight to the point. all test and quiz had review questions that were very similar to the test/quiz. i wish i would of done all my discussions to get an easy B, but i was to lazy. great professor, you must take her class.

Julia is great! She is very clear when explaining calc, and gives plenty of examples. There is a lot of math lab homework. No quizzes. she gives study guides and extra credit. VERY FAIR. Take her! Put in work, and an A is very attainable.

She replaces your lowest test grade with the final. Lectures are pretty clear and she covers the material well. Don't be afraid to speak up in class. I enjoyed having her as a teacher and did well. Just put the effort in, do the homework and you will be fine. She also gives very accurate test reviews before each test and extra credit here and there

With any math class there is homework, all done through pearson; what was different from this math class was you needed to participate in discussions and the professor does read your responses and expects them to be in line with what she is asking. She truly cares and is quick to respond, I liked her as a professor more so than some others.

Prof. Nudel is straightforward, responds to emails quick & is kind when you don't understand something. A lot of hw, but doable & honestly needed if you want to learn. A few chapters require a discussion post and there's one group discussion post. Other than that, the work is simple & appropriate for learning the material. I'd take her again.

I took this class online and she really helps you when you have questions. Make sure you do hw and if you do not finish your hw by the deadline she would give extra time. There are 4 test including final in which she allows you to do them at home (final is the only one required to do an campus). For the final test she allows to use an index card.

Seriously one of the nicest professors I've ever had. Took this class online and was super nervous for it but she helped me through it. She responds to e-mails very quickly and is super helpful. Would take her again if I could!

IF CALCULUS SCARES YOU - TAKE HER! This was a tough subject if you're not a math guru, but Prof. Nudel is there to answer any questions, and always allows you to take the time you need to complete assignments. 4 online tests, lowest score dropped, final is proctored, but it's only 25 questions. Homework every week, some discussions. Great overall!

She's a really nice teacher and gives a lot of updates and reminders to get your work done. The discussions are helpful and pretty easy. 4 tests online, the lowest is dropped and she gives extra credit. She posts her lectures on youtube for each section which really helps before the Homework. I'd take her again if I could.

A lot of homework but it was unlimited tries. We have a discussion every week, 4 online at home tests with the lowest one dropped. Tests are 60%, homework and discussions are 20% with the finals being 20%. The bonus points helped me get over 100% so I needed a 50% on the finals to get an A. No midterms, finals at testing center with 1 note card.

This class is really hard if you don't use the notes and take time to understand the material. It's all derivatives. Drops one test score before final. Homework due every Sunday, does extend till Tuesday. Do the discussions, its easy, & you can fix your post for higher grade. Unlimited attempts on hw. Proctored final w/ 1 3x5 notecard allowed.

There's a discussion every week and you must post and reply to two other students. about 3-4 assignments per week. She posts all the notes that you will need. No need to read through the textbook, however you MUST TAKE NOTES. She also pushes the due date up a couple days which gives you a lot more time to complete your work.

2-4 homework assignments and discussion weekly. Test biweekly or so. Midterm open book at home, final at testing center. I normally get a C in math but Professor Nudul was very understanding in extending work if needed & drops lowest test score. I got a B! Lots of work but doable. Professor is very sweet and understanding. Id take her again!

What a great professor! I was terrified of this class but she made it easy. She checked in weekly with the class, extended due dates on harder assignments, and provided lectures online for us. She actually cares about her students! All online except for final which is on campus, small note card allowed. Lots of extra credit opportunities.

Ive only been in calculus with professor Nudel for a few weeks but shes amazing. Its an online course but everything is very organized and direct. She is constantly updating us and changing due dates according to how were doing to make sure we understand the material. I wish I couldve taken her for any math class Ive taken in the past!

Shes great. Doable work amount, she goes over hw and posts videos online to help better explain for a quick review. Super flexible with hw dates. She answers emails super fast and tries to explain the best she can! Shes awesome and really cares. Few tests no quizzes and gives a bonus on the exam. Also sometimes test corrections which help a lot.

I am not a math person what-so-ever so and the only reason why I passed is because of Professor Nudel. I would suggest using the e-book to watch the videos and practice, but make sure you also watch the powerpoint presentations created by professor Nudel, which includes the calculator function. You must purchase the TI-84 (or latest model)!

Professor Nudel is amazing! I had her online because of Covid, and I was still able to completely understand the subject. Shes really nice and organized. The homework is relatively easy and the tests are taken on MyLab. There are a few discussion posts.

It was an absolute privilege to take Professor Nudel during the pandemic. I was anxious and nervous about taking college algebra so I saved it for last but she made it a wonderful math experience for me I wish I took it sooner. Out of my 46 credits she was THE ABSOLUTE best professor. If I failed it, Id still retake the class with her.

She makes sure you learn what you need to know without overwhelming you. She teaches very well. I'm glad I took her class.

Professor Nudel doesnt give too many homework assignments and for the ones she does give there arent many questions. She responds timely and adequately. I took 2 of her classes and I really cant complain. Shes one of the best math professors out there. Highly recommend

I loved professor Nudel! I have always struggled with math so taking my first calculus class was very scary for me. However she was so patient and positive. She gives a good amount of homework but she helps you actually understand the material!

Professor Nudel is a treasure! She's so sweet and definitely cares about her students. I've never been good with math but I learned a lot in this course! I was actually able to get an A. Her videos and print outs are SO helpful! She lets you use notes! TAKE HER! You won't regret this class!

Let me start off by saying I am HORRIBLE at math. I mean the worst. Yet I still got a A+ in this class. Every email I sent for help, she responded. Sometime even on weekends. She was very motivating also and sent out updates every week. She has YouTube videos if you need them. (Big help on some of the work) and you can always ask for help.

Really works with you to learn the course. Balanced grading and is reasonable with due dates and makeups, which is important for distance learning.

Great teacher, I had her for this Fall semester and wish I could take my next math course with her. Decent amount of homework but she explains everything you need to know in her lecture videos for every hw assignment. She gives out weekly updates and has great communication with the class, very lenient with due dates, which helps a lot. 10/10 !!

Professor Nudel has to be one of the most understanding professors I've had. She understands the difficulties that come up in life and wont punish you with zeros if something comes up. Her class is very straight forward with the notes. If you have questions she is always there to help. Just overall a great teacher, I recommend taking her!

Professor Nudel is one of the most lenient professors I've ever had as well as caring. She assigns her coursework to YOUR pace (by request) and ensures that the material is well understood among her students before moving on. Videos were made to follow along within the homework of mylab, couple of discussions, and a lot of extra credit. GREATCLASS!

This prof was the sweetest! She was always super responsive, pushed back almost every single due date, gave tons of extra credit. Other than the assigned homework on my math lab, there was one or two super easy discussion posts, a few tests and the final. I'm so not a math person at all, and even I managed to almost get an A in this class.

She was a great Professor! Not a ton of tests and they are 45% of your grade. So, you need to do good on all of them or else your grade tanks. I would take her again. She had Homework but not too much and normally not due till Friday. There was a few discussions and projects but not too much. Love!!!

EXAMS ARE LOCKDOWN BROWSER. they are not very easy!! she extends a lot and will ofc let u know thru canvas. she is caring, but make sure you do the assignments!

Her class is very easy; the lecture does have a few mistakes, but she fixes them right away so idrm. If you have any questions about classwork, just email her, and she will reply real fast. Extends due dates A LOT. She is absolutely mindful, caring person about students, so if you have a busy schedule, definitely consider taking her.

She cares and is willing to work with you with no questions asked! Her material is a little harder than usual but I just don't like math so, make sure to really go through the HW because the test are hard and are mostly part of of your grade. she uses honorlock as well. She is very easy going if you focus and give 100% to the class.

teacher uses honor lock but tests are not hard as long as you do your assignments which are not hard, all hw is on mymathlab and the final test replaced your lowest test, lots of extra credit thorough the whole class

Lots of homework. Everything's on Pearson, 8 sections, 2-4 assignments a week with videos explaining what you need to know, 10-20 questions each, test after every unit. Tests are due Fridays but open for full credit on weekends. She extends the homework deadlines sometimes too but that can vary. 1 extra credit right before the final exam.

Some hw materials don't appear in lectures but dw its only js a few questions and she does give extensions on exams or hw sometimes! Make sure to do all the assignments esp the hw! She's super nice but you can barely hear her vids.

If you are able to teach yourself calculus from watching a video than you will be fine, the material is not too difficult. I am not the strongest math student so I used the tutors in the math lab as my "class" since it was online class. Proff Nudel gives you two attempts on all exams besides the final but uses honorlock camera. Not a very demanding

Professor is caring and extends deadlines. Tests are challenging but manageable with consistent effort. Unstuck ai was a great study aid alongside the textbook for preparing.

Took College Algebra online. Uses honorlock but does extend hw times & every exam has 2 attempts minus final. If you struggle teaching yourself math (like me) maybe don't take this online, but otherwise very good.

A LOT of self-teaching in this class, but she will extend almost every assignment deadline for full credit. Has lectures but they don't exactly give you everything you need to know, usually this is covered if you do the MyLab assignments. Honorlock every exam. She's super nice and will help you if you communicate. Extra credit here and there.

This is by far one of my most favorite professors at Valencia, she sends emails every day, lets you know what and when things are due and is super easy to talk with and get a hold of. Would totally take it again!

Took in person, she's very straightforward w/ the course and answers any questions. Whenever there's mistakes, she always corrects them right away & class would typically end early. Typically 2 Pearson assignments due in a week, but it varies & sends out weekly announcements to remind when stuff is due or messages the night b4 class is cancelled.

I would 100% take this class again. It was an online course, but responded quickly to questions/gave clear feedback to make it easy to comprehend. Her lectures/guides were pleasant to watch, she is very enthusiastic/knowledgeable in what she is teaching. Provides xtra credit + if your answer is close, she will give partial credit.
