She is very perky
She's fun!
Excellent teacher- one of the very best. Uses a variety of methods to teach, which makes the class very interesting. Knows her stuff very well. Has a passion for it which comes out when she teachs. She is friendly, caring, and compassionate. Wish all my teachers could be more like her.
Wasted class time talking about her dog or her apparent english accent (which is nonexistant) so the class can fall behind schedule and you have to learn the material on your own. Also acted like the class was full of zombies and kept her back to the front wall at all times.
She's a very inspiring teacher. Made me want to take more linguistics.
Every thing that I have ever learned about teaching in education was finally displayed in college by a teacher. She is excelent and I wish to have skills like her's one day. I reccommend her class to everyone.
She is a great prof by Grant Mac's standards, very funny and very helpful. A good starter course if you have no idea what linguistics is all about. One of those who really goes out of her way to make everyone feel comfortable.
She is awsome! fun/energetic! gives you lots of chances. you feel like youre in jr. high again! gives daily agenda and suggested homework everyday! GET the study guide!!!
Wow. One of the best professors I have ever had the pleasure of learning from. Don't be fooled by the high marks she has been given for easiness, for this does not mean she is too easy just that she teaches everything so well you can't help but know it!! Very helpful, well structured class.
The most friendly lady you may ever meet.... almost too nice and friendly. Exams are a little difficult, she gives you an outline before hand, but there still are some surprises on the test!
She is definently a good teacher. Make sure you do not underestimate the class as if might bit you on the butt. Practice, practice and do more practice! As long as you do so you can easily raise your GPA.
She is such a sweetheart. When she taught me she was super prego but still gaver' 110%. Not the easiest course tho I must say.
Julia is an awsome teacher! The material is pretty tough, but she explains everything really well and assigns A LOT of practice work. She's always around to help out when you're stuck, and really fair with marks and grading.
All I can say is that I'm so glad that Julia was the first prof I've had in Lingustics. She is very helpful- but the content is kinda tricky, but if you work hard and ask questions theres no reason why you shouldnt get an A. Very helpful, very interesting and very very clear! I wish she could teach me all my ling classes!!
Class was much more inteesting than I anticipated. Julie is a nice person and she tries her best to help her students get good marks and understand the material. You do have to do little assignments and tests but she puts helpfull things on the net and she always has our grades right away. I would def. recommend her
I love Julia! I was so afraid to take linguistics for my analytical studies requirement, it seemed hard and boring. She seems to love her job and truly wants students to succeed. Attend class! She breathes life into a fairly dry subject and makes it easy to understand. I got an A on the 1st midterm and am so happy with her I never want to miss clas
Julia is WONDERFUL! Her demeanor is so pleasant and she is super cute and sweet. She does everything she can to help you succeed in the class. If you study then the class is pretty easy. It's impossible to dislike her - she's so great.
What a sweetheart! A+++ for Julia.
Julia is probably one of the most genuine, non-pretentious people you will meet, at least in the context of the classroom. Cute, funny, and makes what could be a dull subject into something relevant, interesting and fun. She guides well, however, the mark you receive depends on the work YOU put in outside of the class.
Julia is amazing! She's the perfect teacher for an Analytical course. She's very thourough and makes class more of a game. I always wanted to do my homework and class was always a challenge. I really enjoyed Ling 101 I wish there were more classes I could take with her
Amazing professor. She is very attentive and crystal clear in her explanations. Best class. If I missed a class, I was disappointed not because of the material, but because of the sheer pleasure I got out of each lecture. I am very sad that I have taken the only class I can with her. I can only dream I will get a professor that good again.
By far one of the best instructors I ever had. She really has a passion for teaching, and she genuinely cares for her students. She makes class fun, it is very challenging but she is very clear in her expectations, and always provides part marks where she can. It is very unfortunate I cannot take anymore courses with her, AWESOME!
She is FANTASTIC, would highly recommend her to anyone. I tried really hard in this class. Save yourself some money, you do not need the text book, just buy the study guide, her notes are awesome and she helps as much as humanly possible. such a sweetie!
She is such a sweet heart. I loved her class, I studied hard and got a 90 on the final. She was amazingly helpful and gave as many part marks as was possible. She is one of the BEST prof's you will ever encounter! Do not buy the text book, I only ever used her BB notes and the study guide so you can save some money with this class
Julia is a kind and caring prof who knows her stuff! She isn't jaded by her extensive knowledge base and never makes you feel stupid for asking questions. She loves what she does. Julia puts so much effort into making her class fun and understandable. I didn't use the textbook very much(buy used!), but her online notes were invaluable!
Awesome prof. She's so enthusiastic and fun, but crystal clear with her information delivery. Lots of little stories about how linguistics is relevant to the real world. If you attend class and look over your materials, exams are easy schmeezy. I recommend this class and this prof to everyone!
great prof, very helpful and passionate about linguistics. her notes are very clear and she is great on communication & answering emails/calls. you DO need to study for her classes and spend time on your papers but she makes it worthwhile.
Awesome instructor
She is very passionate about teaching and it shows in her lectures. She has a good sense of humour and treats the students with respect.
Julia is passionate about linguistics and her lectures are always interesting and worthwhile. She is extremely helpful, respectful and sets clear expectations. You DO have to study in her class but it pays off.
Very few people were truly born to teach, but Julia is one of them. She honestly cares about student progress and will work hard to ensure that comprehension is gained by each and every student. It's not often these days that you find profs that truly care as much as she does.
She is a great professor. She makes sure that she is available to help you anytime. Gives you practice exams for the tests which are basically identical to the exams. Great professor, very friendly and very helpful!
Really kind woman! She is a fantastic Prof and loves to teach Linguistics. Attend class and you will do just fine. I only opened my text book once at the beginning of the semester (wasn't needed). Her in-class lectures were enough to get me a B+.
Very nice lady, very passionate about what she does. Has a lot of extremely relevant examples, some of which are just adorable, for linguistic concepts. Will bend over backwards to help students (her blackboard includes a discussion board, practice exams, video screencasts, the whole 9 yards), but make sure to do transcriptions and online quizzes.
Didn't know what to expect from this class but it ended up being one of my favourites!! Sooooo easy. Class attendance is mandatory or you'll be lost. As long as you go to class you'll do well. I barely studied and came out with an A+. Textbook isn't necessary as Julia gives many examples in class and more can be found via Google. TAKE THIS CLASS!!!
AMAZING TEACHER. Best university teacher out there!!!
such a good prof, so helpful and devoted to making you understand, RECOMMENDED
Great professor for Linguistics! Very well-informed and intelligent in her field! Had a great time in this class. Has very useful, educational assignments which make learning easy!
Everything you would ever want from a teacher. Do the smart thing and don't second guess her class.
In my two years at MacEwan, she has got to be my favourite proff. She gets to know each student in her class and goes over the top to help you out. I thoroughly enjoyed her class and highly recommend her!!
Julia was great!! Such an AMAZING prof! She was so helpful and so excited about what she was teaching! You definitely have to go to class if you want a good mark but other than that it's very easy! I definitely recommend her!!!!
Julia was great!! Such an amazing prof!! Definitely take this class! Attendance is mandatory if you want to do well but it's really an easy class! And Julia is so helpful when you need it!!
Great Prof- 5Very Knowledgeable in linguistics. She is very nice and very approachable. I would recommend her.
She is an amazing teacher. Easy to understand and extremely helpful. She doesn't care about your spelling because the course is about the sounds in the words. I wish this school had more linguistic classes. It was definitely my favorite class and my highest mark ever. It may not be everyone's cup of tea but it was mine. I have a C- average.
She is very clear as to what is going to be on the tests, and she is very good at explaining the material. You can tell she is very passionate about what she does, and that makes the class very enjoyable. She is one of the best teachers I have ever had.
Most amazing passionate prof I've had in my 4 years of university. She is amazing at explaining everything and makes ling very interesting and easy to learn. There is quite a bit of homework and quizzes, but they are easy marks. She gives you every opportunity to get good marks. Go to every lecture, and you should have no problem in this class!
Julia is a great teacher. She is very interactive, so pay attention in her class - which isn't hard because she's always so excited which can be nice to wake you up if you have an early class. I loved Linguistics, I went in not really knowing anything about the course and came out loving it. If I could, I would totally take another class with Julia
Loved Julia! She was so helpful and sweet! It is definitely an easy course, but you do have to put in the work. There are 5 online quizzes and 5 other assignments but they are easy and worth credit not actual marks. Make sure you go to class, if you miss even one lecture it is hard to catch back up, some of the concepts are tough to grasp.
Such a nice lady, she really gets to know her students and cares. If you do the easy transcriptions and quizzes its a free 15%. The midterms are easy if you come to class and she tells you the exact format beforehand. I never used either of the textbooks once and was fine.
Such an amazing professor and this class is a for sure GPA booster. Her lectures a bit redundent but thats because she wants to make sure everyone understands he material she also makes herself available extra time before the final for any extra help. Highly recommended!!
Julia is awesoem
Julia was honestly one of the best profs I've ever had. She is so kind and sweet and truly cares about you. She's ALWAYS willing to help, she truly wants you to succeed. I honestly didn't know what to expect from this class but I ended up falling in love with it, she makes it so much fun! Def's recommended to anyone thinking of taking linguistics.
I took LING101 as an elective and this was easily a GPA booster. Julia Peters is by far the best professor I have ever had comparing to all my classes. She is clear on what she expects and is always willing to help. The class can be a bit demanding sometimes in terms of Homework/Studying but attend lectures and keep up and its a guaranteed A-A+
Julia has to be one of my favourite profs. She's so sweet and truly cares about her students and wants them to do well. She does a lot of practice to make sure we understand and was always available outside of class for extra help. Her exams are fair, if you pay attention in class and studied it was an easy A. I wish she taught more than ling!
Fav prof! :) She's super helpful and truly shows much she cares about her students. Assignments, midterm and finals were all fair but the practice from the assignments help greatly. Easy GPA booster; made the course so enjoyable!
There are many rankings here that talk about how good of a teacher julia is, and I absolutely agree. However this was the hardest class I have taken at macEwan. If you are not good at memorizing terms and facts, do not take this class. If you feel lost in the first 2 weeks it is time to consider dropping it.
BEST PROF EVER !!!
Julia is an amazing prof. As long as you attended the lectures and completed the practice exams the exams were fairly easy.
intro to linguistic is all worthless without Julia!!!! she is The best prof ever! (could be your best friend too because she is an AMAZING person) I had very little idea what linguistic was at the beginning, but i ended up with an A !!! Attendance is mandatory, but on the other hand U would WANT to go to her class!
The course material is fairly easy, however, I found that she went off topic a lot and wasted a lot of class time talking about unimportant things such as having the class introduce themselves, spending the first 5ish days on the syllabus, and group exercises.
Julia is amazing. Her lectures are very clear and her blackboard content is very helpful. Her exams are very easy. The textbooks are not necessary but you need to go to class regularly to do well.
Very nice and fun prof, made lectures very interesting. Semester flew by with Julia! Would recommend to take this course with her.
-Julia is wonderful. She makes a point of knowing every one of her students names which i thought was really nice. -She teaches super clearly and is 100% willing to help when you need. -Lots of short assignments but they're super easy. -Gives really good study guides, so you do well if you put in work -warning: know examples for exams!!!!
Teaches with a passion and loves to help. Very clear and concise. Easy course if you attend class.
AMAZING PROFESSOR. Literally my favourite professor at MacEwan; she is an angel.
Julia is an amazing prof who really cares about what she's teaching, which makes the material interesting and easy to learn! She's good at explaining tough concepts. I would 100% recommend taking a class with her!
I'm in the minority that feel this class is not a GPA booster, but there is no denying that Julia is a sweetheart that creates a warm atmosphere in all of her classes seemingly effortlessly. Online quizzes or transcriptions are compulsory every week but there are unlimited attempts so getting 100% in these areas is realistic. Recommended.
Julia's lectures are really interesting and you can see how passionate she is. It is easy to earn some marks with her in-class quizzes, online quizzes and transcriptions to hand in throughout the semester. She genuinely wants everyone to succeed.
Julia is an unreal lady. She was such a good prof, probably one of my favourites. She gives you tons of opportunities to do well. Her tests if you do not understand the material going in could be hard. But the course does not have a ton of material you need to know. It is actually a easy and fun course to do. And julia just makes it even better.
she's nice but the class is so boring. once you learn the basics at the beginning you can pretty much skip the rest. do not buy the textbooks!!! you never use them & it's a waste of money. lots of quizzes (online and in class). do everything you can for the extra marks and make sure you check the due dates for everything. don't stress tho it's easy
Such a kind woman. I expressed personal issues to her that conflicted with how I was doing in the class and she was more than helpful and understanding. Very expressive and excited with what she teaches. Sometimes the material can be tedious but not too hard of a class. Highly recommend this prof.
Julia was such a caring prof who seemed so passionate about linguistics. Very open to helping outside of class time and getting to know students individually. Lecture material was interesting and easy to grasp, lots of small assignments with ample time to do corrections made it easier to get a high mark. Overall, good GPA booster and good prof.
Julia is a solid prof. If you put in the time and effort you will do fine. Easy class and rarely had to ask her for help. Gets back to emails right away and is very helpful and respectful when asking for help.
There are so many great things I could say about Julia. She is 10/10 super nice and helpful. She made every class interesting and engaging. She is by far my favourite prof. If you don't go to class you will do poorly but if you show up and pay attention its a super easy A. She made this class so great I have considered to transfer to major in it.
Decent professor. Very passionate about the subject area. She has great ways to teach the material in a way where you can relate and understanding using real world examples. Must show up to class to do well. Midterms and final were fair. Also, make sure to show up for lectures when she goes over sentence trees
Although the course content isn't overly difficult, I found this prof to be a bit all over the place when it came to her lectures. She bounces from topic to topic, and PowerPoint slide to PowerPoint slide, so it's essential to print off her notes on Blackboard beforehand. Very lovely individual, however! Very chill, and passionate.
Julia is an amazing professor, but Ling is a really tough course. Get ready to memorize what feels like a million things. Although attendance is not mandatory, you won't pass this course if you don't go. Julia gives really good resources to use and is great at teaching the material, but it's a lot of material to learn.
She knows what she's talking about but doesn't really know how to relay the information on. Her lectures are hard to follow and amazingly dry. Her powerpoints online are practically impossible to find, and when you do find them, she creates blanks in them so it's impossible to catch up if you miss a class. But she has lots of other resources up.
One of my favourite profs at MacEwan. Very energetic, keeps you entertained. LING is a hard course but she makes it very easy. Grade 5 take home transcriptions (10%), In class quizzes (tells you ahead of time for content (10%), online quizes- open book (5%), 2 midterms @20% each, and final (35%). Spoon feeds you with what to study.
Julia was the best! If you go to class and put in the effort inside and outside of class you will do awesome. Julia clearly cares a lot about linguistics and always offers extra help. It is a tough course but if you try hard and keep practicing youll find it easy! I wish I could take it again!
Easy A, and she's super helpful, explains everything in a lot of detail, and accessible outside of class!
Julia is the best professor I have ever had!! She genuinely wants her students to succeed & will work with you to make it happen. She makes EVERYTHING so accessible - lectures, videos, homework, answers for tests, herself. You have to be an active participant with this class, there is ALOT to memorize but once it starts to make sense, its a breeze!
I personally found the content boring but she made a good effort to try and make it more interesting. Very nice lady.
Julia Peters is a fantastic teacher, but linguistics is a tough course in general.
Julia is an amazing prof! You'll love her. She uses Kahoots and other fun presentation methods and cares about her students so much. She's helpful with how she runs the course - there's an extra quiz to drop your lowest mark, she emails out exactly what concepts are on a test, and emphasizes what's important if you're crunched for time. A+ Prof!
Julia gives you every opportunity you need to do well in this class. Her quizzes and exams are exactly what she prepares you for and if you do the homework and assignments it is easy to pass this class with a good grade. She prioritizes giving students the help they need and answers emails very quickly. Would 100% take another class with Julia!
Julia is such a fun prof! Really goes out of her way to help her students, and is very descriptive when teaching, so students really learn the material.
Dr. Peters is a super nice prof who does a good job of teaching the class material. The tests are straightforward as long as you pay attention to lectures and do the practice quizzes. Would recommend!
Dr Peters is extremely kind and caring, and she gives students all the resources they need to succeed with. Linguistics is definitely not my subject, but I enjoyed her teaching. She is completely on top of things, giving all necessary information in lectures and online. She also takes the time to get to know her students. Take her class!
Julia Peters is very nice. However, I found it difficult to do well in her class as her teaching is all over the place. We spent 2 weeks doing warm up activities instead of the course material so we did not finish. She usually spends the first 15 minutes with a warm up activity which takes away from learning material and I found that stressful
Julia is an awesome prof. She makes a personal connection with each student that makes her approachable and easygoing. Classes are fun, but if you cant make it dont worry because she puts helpful notes/practice on blackboard.
Her class is quite a bit of homework with things due weekly but they don't take very long to do. She's very enthusiastic and happy to help if need be. The mid terms and final were kind of hard though.
If you want a good grade, you really need to work for it; if you need help though, there is plenty of opportunities to get it. The lectures are very fun and keep you captivated by the material. The quizzes are extremely easy because she provides you with all the information you need ahead of time, but the midterms/final are a bit more difficult.
Julia is an absolutely wonderful prof. She always comes to class with great energy and you can tell she really cares about her students. There's a fair amount of homework given, but if you know the material it's pretty easy. Attendance isn't mandatory but is necessary to hand in homework. This class is an easy A if you do all the work given.
She is an awesome person, but her class was all over the place. I found her hard to follow and she went through difficult concepts way too fast.
Taking a class online about sound is a challenge, but Julia makes it easy - she breaks down the chapters and concepts easily; her video casts and quick responses on assignments made me feel like I was almost in a classroom environment. The assignments are fun and easy, as are the discussions.
Julia is wonderful. Ling 101 is a relatively content heavy course and she completely sets you up for success. Her grading system is engineered to reflect a good grade so long as class is attended. If you miss class it will be very difficult to follow. Julia is enthusatic and helpful, 10/10 would recommend taking her course!
Julia is the sweetest prof I've ever had. She is kind, considerate and is always willing to help outside of class! She gives out easy marks by giving extra credit for people who got 75+ on the online quizzes, you can redo transcription assignments as many times as you need to get that 100 and exams are always very fair.
went into this class thinking its an easy class based on all these reviews but this has to be the worst class i have ever taken in macewan i dropped it midway. i didnt like the prof hands down worst class in macewan
Julia is the sweetest prof ever! Linguistics itself can be quite hard so I would recommend attending every class. Julia is available every Friday for extra help, and gives easy assignments to help boost your mark. Textbook is not necessary, but I did purchase the study guide which helped a lot!
I LOVE Julia! She is so caring and all you have to do is show up and since linguistics is a class where you need lots of practice, just showing up will help with understanding the course content. Not that hard of a class, easier for those who know a second language imo. Also gives extra filler quiz and good content on blackboard to use.
Julia is very accomodating. She makes sure her students succeed. There is a quite a bit of little assignments (quizzes, transcriptions) but she is super fair and it is an easy A if you show up to every class.
Julia is a great teacher, she is so sweet and she is passionate about what she is teaching. However, she is unorganized and can get lost in what she is doing. Her "warmup" can take up half the class and she always talks about how we are so behind. She never stops talking and tends to ramble. Besides that she pretty chill.
Julia was a real gem. Very nice and caring about her students. Assigns homework and has quizzes every week, but each are very easy to get an A. Don't need the textbook, just do the homework and you'll be fine. Exams are very straightforward and a breeze. Final was kind of difficult but nothing of the impossible, tbh. VERY GOOD GPA BOOSTER!!
Julia is so sick! I highly recommend. If you're willing to show up to class and participate then you 100% should have no problem using this class as a GPA booster. She's always willing to help and goes above and beyond to make sure you understand the material. Best prof I've had so far!!!!!
Loved her! my fav prof so far. She's such a good person and actually teaches her classes very well. Lectures are fun. I recommend her!
She's so wonderful; she clearly loves what she teaches, and is very willing to help you if you're uncertain. Attendance isn't mandatory, but the second I stopped going, I started struggling with what I missed and never caught back up. I loved her and this class way more than I thought I would- didn't find it too challenging, either!
Lots of small assignments that are time-consuming, but she does offer feedback to ensure that you can improve for the next time. I personally struggled with the material - but she did her best to explain and answer all questions.
Julia Peters is an awesome prof! She's super easy going, and her tests are all open book with no time limit if taken online. LING101 can be super easy with her! Make a good impression and email her at least twice a week checking in with her and being polite and you'll be golden. You can email her questions about the quizzes while you do them too.
This is someone who really adapted well to the online learning platform (I understand LING101 was adapted online long ago). Julia is very thoughtful and sends out thorough emails of a to-do list each week with due dates etc so it's next to impossible to miss a deadline. She gives a ton of feedback and chances to resubmit assignments.
I truly found this class fun. Its impossible to miss a deadline as Julia sends out reminder emails often. There were a lot of assignments in total but theres a lot of free marks. This class definitely requires time and practice if you want a good mark on the exams but if you put the time in, youll get an A.
Julia was a very nice prof who I was grateful was accessible through email, even during late hours. She is willing to set up a one-on-one meeting (through zoom) for further clarification. She provided many additional resources besides the textbook (extra practice questions, videos, etc). She was a very good prof.
Julia was a great professor to have! Her teaching was straightforward and insightful. The content wasnt bad either. She provides lots of examples for practice which helps a lot. Julia was also very helpful and quick when answering questions.
Honestly a fantastic prof. I didn't quite get linguistics, but I wouldn't have passed without her help. If you take your time and come to every class, you'll probably do very well. If you ask for help, you'll get an incredible amount of it, and you'll pass. Simple as.
Julia was amazing! I took LING 101 hoping to just get it done and over with for my breadth requirements, but I fell in love with the subject matter. Julia truly cares about her students in a way that no other prof at MacEwan does. I wish there were more LING classes to take because I'm sad I won't have her as a prof again.
She is a lovely person and always there to help, but her exams were very difficult, especially the final exam. Three hours, 16 pages, NOT open book (unlike some people here say), and questions written in literally different languages for us to figure out. Average for final exam was 65%, final grade average was a B, so just be aware.
Julia is extremely compassionate and intelligent. She wants everyone to succeed, so she has lots of practice worksheets online, responds to emails quickly, and is always willing to re-explain a whole concept. There are like 22% participation(ish) marks, so do your work! My biggest tip is for you to memorize your V&C chart as soon as you get it.
Lovely lady, willing to work with you if you don't understand a concept; the course used many in-class and online quizzes for marks. Not the best with time management and we were often behind in the course material.
There are quite a lot of small assignment but they are really easy to complete and she's a super fair marker and gives multiple chances to get a better grade. She cares a lot about how her students are doing and is easy to reach outside of class. A lot is covered in lecture but she posts videos online but its not the same as when you are in person.
She made the class very easy! Participation matters for the in-person quizzes (6 total, top 4 counts for mark), but other than that, online videos are provided for each topic. Both videos and lectures cover materials very well and are easy, but lectures are more in-depth and generally more memorable. Definitely boosted by GPA, would take again!
Professor Julia is very helpful and accessible. She provides lots of practice resources, including unstuckstudy, to support student learning. The class can be challenging, but with attendance and effort, you can succeed.
I took LING to avoid taking math heavy courses and I would 100% recommend it. Peters is an amazing prof. There are some weeks with lots of homework but it's manageable. Her lectures are entertaining and she is always available for when you need help with any course material.
Her son Is an absolute stud and she herself is a beauty she always cares for you. And marks really nicely, went to her house for a study session and she was so nice and served me hot cocoa.
UNit very kind. Her son is very nice and sweet and cute, I'm his friend and fergel is always a bundle of joy to meet. Meeting Julia is like receiving a bundle of joy. Great teach precciate her.
I will say that she is so enthusiastic about Ling that it really helped me in the class. She does give you all of the tools to do well, and definitely tries to prepare you for what is to come, but the course itself is jam packed with material and has a large portion of strict memorization to the class. However, she is awesome.
She's nice as a person, but nothing beyond that. I took this as a "GPA booster," but it ended up lowering my GPA. Attended every lecture and still didn't do well. Don't be fooled by these reviews; she's a tough grader and expects you to know everything too quickly. Wish I had dropped this class. Arguably the worst class I've taken in MacEwan.
Julia is very kind and humorous, and cares about her students' success. She gives many grade boosts just for completing work. One downside to her teaching however, is that she speaks so fast and takes very little time allowing students to actually process what she's talking about.
THE BEST!!! You will not require the textbook at all. The content itself is very easily understood. Though there are a lot of assignments and quizzes, they are incredibly easy so long as you consistently attend class. She is a very compassionate teacher, I highly recommend this as an easy class.
Amazing class! Don't need the textbook, and she really prepares you for each exam with practice quizzes, in class quizzes and some homework! Not a hard class at all as long as you do some practice beforehand and submit the little exercises on time.
The professor is caring, sweet, and very accessible outside of class. She genuinely wanted us to succeed. The class itself however was challenging, especially the midterms (many questions and very limited time). Thankfully I was able to clutch the final and save my grade. Just memorize those charts and you'll be okay. Still a good class overall !
