One of the best teachers on campus. Very approachable and loves to talk to students. Always has very interesting and funny stories that keep class a good time. TAKE HIS CLASS WHEN HE TEACHES THEM. Loves rats...lots and lots of rats!

Great guy. Always interested in talking with studdents. Very interesting class, I learned a lot. He is really a brilliant man if you ever get to sit down and chat with him.

Dr. Keith is an exceptional professor..I would definitely recommend taking any classes that he teaches - he is interesting, funny, and obviously cares for his students.

I love Dr.Keith. He is the sweetest man alive and he cares so much about what he does. I love his teaching style & he definitely makes class fun. Take him for History & Systems if you get the chance.

He is a really sweet man and he makes jokes all the time. I had a hard time staying awake during some of the lectures. The majority of your grade in the class are random quizzes that he gives so try to look over your notes before class. IF you do well on the quizzes you will pass.

He's the best! A hard ass and someone that inspires at the same time. He's got a great style and inspired me a LOT!

He's a very nice man, but his teaching style is poor. There's a potential for a quiz every class so you have to study every night for it. He's scatterbrained and spends more time talking about things that aren't important than spending time hitting the major points. Hard to do well on the quizzes because students grade them and it's hit or miss.

Easy going, extremely enthusiastic, super funny. Pretty much in love with him.

One of my favorite professors. He is definitely a bit weird, but great weird. He loves life and people. 80% of the class is pop quizzes, but they are very straight forward and if you read over your notes for 15 min before each class you can get an A pretty easily. HIGHLY reccommend.

Awesome teacher one of my favorites, the best tearcher by far for this class, wish he taught more classes. Class was kind of hard, but he helped make it interesting, fun and funny. Very helpful always willing to do extra to help out, not too much work 4 multiple choice tests 2 had essays also & participation. TAKE HIM IF YOU HAVE THE CHANCE.

Very nice, extremely funny. Usually very clear. Do the qizzes and TED Talks, they help your grade a lot. Very reasonible, willing to help. If every one does bad he will give every one extra points on the exams. Only one of the exams is hard. Final exam does not hurt your grade unless you don't do it. It is also on-line.

I took 105 with Keith and I declared a major in psych and I'm taking 405 with him this summer. He is awesome. Definitely come to class, AND read the book. His exams are on both book, and lecture material, some of which is not in the book. He is very approachable and helpful. Ask him about cycling, or Buddhism.

Dr. Keith is an amazing professor. He is passionate about what he teaches and has a great sense of humor. He makes class fun. I would take more classes with him if I wasn't graduating this fall.

Dr. Keith is a very philosophical man and his class is extremely interesting. He is passionate about the subject is a very nice man. Take him if you want a good teacher. But if you are considering grad school, I recommend you take Dr. Puente. I got an A in Dr. Keith's class and hopefully you will too. Good luck!

He is a funny teacher and a little nerdy but it's cute. He obviously loves psychology and the class is alright, can get a bit dry though. The only bad thing is the grade is based on 4 multiple choice tests so a lot of memorization is needed. I hated that.

He is an excellent professor! He has a great sense of humor and is very laid back. Quizzes help your grade drastically and he even gave our class an opportunity to do 2 extra experiments for extra credit! I recommend taking his course, especially if you are not interested in psychology, it will make the class easier to get through.

Great professor! Made psy 105 a lot of fun. Tends to go off on tangents, so be sure to do the readings as well. It is a lot of reading, and there are 4 30-question tests total, each worth 1/4 of your grade. If you actually read and study your notes, you'll be fine. 10 mini-quizzes worth 1 point each= up to a whole letter grade of extra credit!

Keith is great and passionate about his work. Tests aren't too hard if you study and go to class because the extra credit quizes help your grade tons! He loves to talk about anything and everything so ask questions and he will be distracted for 15 min of class. This was my favorite class so far at Wilmington!

He is the easiest professor I had last semester. I don't know why so many people complain about his difficulty on here. If you go to his class and study for the tests, you'll do fine. I got a 104 in his class because of the extra credit quizzes that he will randomly have. Take it. Easy A. That's a good movie..

Dr. Keith is an awesome teacher, he's always in a good mood and is really good at explaining everything thoroughly. He has quizzes that are usually really easy that count for a point extra credit to your FINAL GRADE if you get it right. Lots of extra credit opportunities, and he always has interesting/funny stories. I definitely recommend!

Such a nice guy! Tests were all essay and he's not an easy grader, but if you go to class and sort of skim through the book you should make a good grade. He tells great stories so class is not boring. Highly recommend him!

This class was extremely interesting and I found him to be a very fair grader. The tests are all essay and if you are willing to come to every class and skim through the book you will do very well.

This is a requirement for all psychology majors, take it with Keith. Super easy class! One of the easiest A's I have made in college! 2 essays and bam done! So simple, but use the book, it will save you!

Professor Keith is hilarious!! He's genuinely interested in his students and their success. He does not take attendance... so I barely showed up. He gives a lot of extra credit if you show up. Reading the book helps. I got a C- because I never really tried. Put some effort in and it's easy.

Keith is quirky and oddly funny. He gets his points across well and is a very kind-hearted man. Introductory Psych is an easy class that he makes enjoyable.

The best teacher at UNCW. He teaches in a way that is basically like "story-time" and really allows his points to be understood in interesting ways. Great teacher and very helpful, definitely take him for 405!

DR. Keith is FANTASTIC! His class is the only one I really look forward to during the day. He's funny and nice and super ENTERTAINING. A for effort in this class but its hard not to pay attention!

Dr. Keith is hands-down the best professor I've ever had. I took a psych class every semester all thanks to Dr. Keith. He's funny and entertaining and keeps you engaged. I had him 4 semesters ago and he still asks how I'm doing when I see him on campus. Great guy and a really brilliant professor.

He's the nicest guy and is always willing to answer questions and listen to his students. The class itself is pretty easy as long as you keep up with his assignments from the get go and it really isn't all that time consuming. Loved this class!

Very engaging! Took this as a Gen Ed requirement, and loved it. I have no interest in psychology, but he made it interesting. Class was super easy, too.

Read the book and know the chapters well. The exams, as of Spring 2012, are online and if you have time you can look questions that you don't know the answer to up in the book or search them in the eBook. Go to class because he takes attendance through clickers. He doesn't have Friday classes which is AWESOME. He gives really easy homework and EC.

Dr. Keith is the best! Take him if you have the option to. I actually looked forward to going to his class because he is humorous and makes everything interesting. Powerpoints are online but focus on writing down what he says in class. Tests are a little tricky so study your notes. But seriously, take him if you can. You will not regret it.

Lecture class, 130 students. I came to class occasionally because I enjoyed him teaching, but otherwise just pass off your clicker to a friend. Everything is online. He taught interesting stuff, but only a portion of what he talks on in class is actually on the test. Everything else is in the book. Take General Psych with Keith.

Okay so heres the main comment you guys want if your taking 101, This is the class to take if you never want to go to class. pass your clicker off to a friend and skip it. you do need to buy the book + connect part, that should come with a e book, open 2 tabs, one for homework and on the e-book, use ctrl-f to find the answer. Easiest class i took.

He is very passionate about the subject and very knowledgeable. However since the course is online, what he says in class won't help you on the tests. Everything is done through McGraw-Hill. Weekly assignments, 4 exams, no final; all done online outside of class. Really easy to get a A but you have to work at it. I enjoyed him, not the system.

Dr. Keith is an amazing professor and his enthusiasm for psychology starts to rub off on his students. To pass his class all you need to do is pay attention and make sure to read the textbook

Dr. Keith is a quirky cool dude. His class is more story time than lecture. Attendance is not mandatory, but unless you have someone who can give you his notes word for word, definitely go. I also recorded his lectures to prepare for the essay exams. The essays aren't hard if you use the book, which you definitely need. Best teacher for 405!

One of the nicest teachers on campus. You need to be there or have someone else there with your clicker for attendance. All assignments are online, including test so do them in groups. You have to have the textbook in some form. Like I said, super nice guy.

One of the best professors/teachers I've ever had. He knows the info so well and teaches it in such an interesting way. He makes you want to go to class, and is probably the reason I chose Psychology as my major. You'll definitely miss out if you dont take him for at least one class.

Dr. Keith is awesome! I know a lot of people just pass off their clicker to a friend so they don't have to attend, but I loved listening to his lectures so I always went to class. All the tests and homework are online and fairly easy.

Dr. Keith is a tremendous teacher. He has a great personality, very approachable, and really cares about making the material interesting to students. Absolutely take History of Psychology with him.

Dr. Keith is my favorite professor I've had. His class is incredibly interesting and he has so much motivation. It eludes me how most of the class is on their computers while he gives such great lectures! All homework and 90% of the test are based in the book. Lectures are centered on the subject of the chapter but covers different things.

I love his class! I took psych in high school and hated it, but he makes it so much more interesting and now I'm thinking of being a psych major...

Awesome guy, very fun and approachable. He likes to talk with his students although it was a huge lecture style class. The tests aren't really difficult. Just read the book and do the homework and you will do great. Pay attention in the lectures, they are truly fascinating. It's obvious he has a real passion for his subject and is brilliant!

HIGHLY RECOMMEND. Professor Keith loves his work. His lectures are interesting and he's a great professor. Definitely read before lectures. He gives lots of opportunities to up your grade through online work. Tests are difficult but manageable.

If you think you'll pass just by going to his lectures, then you won't. You have to read the text book, but he's a ball of sunshine and I adore him. Super interesting guy.

His lectures are often filled with hilarious stories and he really interacts with the students, even in a lecture class with 200+ people. Weekly homework that you can do as many times as you want until you get a 100. Need to study for the tests, but he doesn't try to trick you. Overall an enjoyable class for gen ed credit!

Dr. Keith is so sweetfunny and still makes an effort to connect with each individual student in a class of 200+. He has 3 exams for the semester, and you really need to know the material thoroughly to pass his tests. Your grade is 10% attendance (which he takes every day), 30% homework (online, unlimited attempts), and 60% exams. Take this class!!

Besides the psychological experiment study credit hours you have to earn to pass the course and the online homework and chapter work, you just have to show up to the lectures. The online work is easy to go through it's just tedious. There's a total of 4 tests all online. He's a funny, goofy guy and relates psychology fairly well to everyday life.

Really boring lectures that consist of mainly stories. Three exams that are mainly straight from the book. Attendance is 10% of grade. Easy A

Dr. Keith is the goofiest and most inspirational professor I've ever had in my life. He influenced me to choose a Neuroscience minor. His lectures are really interesting and entertaining, never boring. Exams are taken in class on laptops, pretty easy if you pay attention in class and put a few hours to study. Definitely TAKE HIM. He is hella great.

One of the best professors I've experienced. Want to take him again. He made a 200 person lecture very personal. My class was lectures on Monday and Wednesday with an online class Friday. Homework and exams were online and I learned much more from completing it than I expected.

Love Dr. Keith. He's head of the Psych department so he's def. passionate about it, but explains things in a way that people who know nothing about psychology will understand. 3 homework assignments due a week, but they're pretty easy & tests are taken online. The only annoying thing is the research requirement but every psych class requires that.

Dr. Keith is HILARIOUS. That was my favorite thing about him and his class. Plus, if you do the homework you'll probably make a good grade. Take a class with him if you can!

I loved Dr. Keith. Very personable, responded to emails quickly, and was happy to explain something to you if you were having trouble. Lectures were interesting. There are test questions about stories from lectures, and attendence was taken on a sign-in sheet at the front of the lecture hall & you are graded on that, so GO TO CLASS. 100% recommend.

This class was so easy, the tests were taken online at home so yeah. There is a lot of homework that goes with this class but everything was really easy to understand, it was mostly busy work. I took him Fall 2015 and he made us do SAGrader which was horrible but I do not think he is doing it in the future anymore.

He is a fantastic professor, I would definitely take his class again! He does take attendance, but you can get someone to sign in for you. I barely went to class and got a 98. Weekly online homework and simple short answer questions. Also, tests were online too and everything was on quizlet. He's a great person to talk to and loves his work.

He is a great professor who loves psychology and wants to hear what students think. He will spend some time in lectures talking about things that aren't relevant to the class, but are interesting. He asks that you sign in at the beginning of each class. There are online Homework's for each chapter that you must do

Professor Keith is a really nice guy and is very enthusiastic about the material. However the content covered in class is not that relevant to what will be on the test, most of the material come from the textbook. He does offer up to 10 points on to your final grade as extra credit. I would recommend,

Dr. Keith is a true gem. His lectures are engaging and informative. He truly cares about his students and is easy to contact. He brought a new class to UNCW and made it worth taking. His tests aren't that difficult, though you do need to actually try at them. He has a lot of buffer assignments so you don't really need to worry about your grade much

Great class. We had 1 weekly assignment and 1 quiz each week. Everything is out the textbook which is not long chapters at all. One chapter a week and he goes over it in class. Highly recommend 100%. 2 papers towards the end of the semester.

Dr. Keith was awesome! If you want an interesting yet simple psychology course, take this one. You learn so much more than you would expect (or that I expected). He's funny and interactive. Ask questions if you're confused about a concept, and listen to his stories and read the book. Both of them combined will help you gasp each concept.

Dr. Keith is the best professor I've had at UNCW! Experimental psych is boring in itself, but he made the content as interesting as possible. I was dreading having the class three times a week-- 2 hours each class-- but it went by quicker than some of my 1 hour and 15 min classes because he made it easy to pay attention to. Take him for PSY355!

This was an online class, and there were 2 grades per week. Each week is a different chapter of the book. On Thursday, you have an assignment due to show that you have read it, and on Friday is a test. Each test is 20 true and false questions with 3 minutes to complete. Overall, this was an easy class, and the teacher responds to emails quickly.
