I was a little freaked out to take this class because it was only once a week and I am not good at math but Professor Hardy made this class more understandable and clear. Professor Hardy teaches quick, but clear. Her class is extremely long but only because we have once a week. She lets us leave when we cover the sections needed, which is sraight. She is very fair, explains very well, sometimes too fast, but the homework matches what is taught in class. Take her if you need to take math, but do your work.

At the beginning of the term, I thought that this math class was going to be hard, and I took the class based on the ratings here at Ratemyprofessor.com. This is is very fair. I don't even have to take my last quiz because I already have four high quiz grades and I can drop one. I would recommend any friend to take this class.

I aced this class! It is almost imperative that you attend class regularly and study. She gets upset when you miss class. The classis easy to pass with an A if you can keep up with the work on your own time.

I am great in math, BUT most people found the class fair. She doesn't grade the homework, drops your lowest quiz grade, doubles your highest quiz grade, gives you 12 points for attendance,her quizzes are multiple choice, and she tells you which questions are on the final. She is better than fair. She's great! Take her. Don't expect an easy A tho.

I took her for mat1033 and mac1105 and loved her. Her test are multiple choice and she doesn't check homework. However, you have to earn your A so I do recommend doing her homework so you can understand all the concepts better.

Her name is Professor HARDY. If you don't STUDY, the class is not EASY! There is no homework to cushion your grade. Just do well on the tests and aim for perfect scores early on, since it can make up for missteps in more advanced material. She explains concepts VERY clearly. I'm one of those students who has taken this class 3 times, and finally I was able to pass because of this professor. The class is demanding during summer term but worth taking it with this professor if you plan on doing the HW and actually try.

No words can describe how easy she makes math. She is truly an amazing teacher. The whole class was upset when she was out for two weeks, but when she came back she made everythijng crystal clear. I got all 90-100 scores because I DID the homework when she said. Homework is mandatory. If you don't keep up your scores will be truly affected.

Excellent professor. Really I dislike that she can't teach 1105 because I had a really good experience in her class. Only with one explanation per subject you will understand everything. You only need two things to pass the class: the first one is that you must not be lazy and the second one is that you need to make all the homework on time.

I have to say that Hardy is hands down one of the best math professors at Dade, she lectures in such a clear way that makes hard subjects easy to understand, she works extremely clean and grading criteria is clear and easy to follow. You must do and keep up with the homework if you want to pass, 4 tests & final are easy if you practice and study.

Professor Hardy is straightforward and to the point. Her notes are provided for everyone, even if you show up late. She continuously reminds students to keep up with the pace of the class, showing her concern for the student to perform his or her best. If you do go to class, you will be lost. Show up and pass. Nothing else to it.

Miss Hardy is one of the best teachers at MDC. Her lectures are detailed & precise. The course consists of 4/5 test depending on variables such as time available in class. Homework is not assigned by her, so I cant count that against her. She is wonderful and caring, truly cares about the student.

Best teacher for math in my entire history of taking math. The lab helps but the lectures make the online homework must easier to complete. Study and you will pass.

Professor Hardy is very clear and makes the class worth your time. I struggle in math and i was able to follow and understand for the first time on the concepts that are expected of you to gain your base knowledge for Algebra. You need to put in your work, she doesn't hand you the grade which is what you need to pass with integrity.

Third time having to take this class, and until I had Prof. Hardy, I was completely LOST in math. I now have a better understanding of how to graph lines and solve equations. High school was such a joke. I passed with a B but only because I suck in Math. The lab really helps. You have to work hard but if you put the time in, you will pass.

I have taken this class a total of four times, and I must say that this professor has been the best by a landslide. She is a great lecturer, she goes step-by-step through each problem and makes sure everyone understands prior to moving on, tests are multiple choice and your final grade replaces your lowest test grade. I HIGHLY recommend her.

Professor Hardy is an outsanding Math Professor who undoubtedly and genuinely cares about her students success in the class. Above all, her vocal communication and lectures are unquestionably crystal clear and easy to understand. She breaks doen problems to the "T". To add, she teaches you shortcuts to problems and demonstrates alternative methods.

She is a very good teacher, she explains all the subject clearly and insists her students to work outside the school.

Prof. Hardy is the best Math teacher Ive ever had. She is very clear and explains everything with details. I really enjoyed her lessons. If you are not very good at Math this professor will help you through. Attendance is highly important to pass.

In all honesty, I cannot say I am bored in 1033. Hardy speaks with enthusiasm and is never monotoned. I enjoy coming to class. She is down to earth and motivating.

One of the best math teachers I have ever had in my life. You really have to show up to each class to pass. Coming from someone who is horrible at math, her lectures are very good and help me easily understand the material. She is accessible after class and helps you with anything you need. I would take her again and I wish she taught MAC1105.

The professor is great she explains everything perfectly. However if you skip class or do not do homework you will most likely fail in her class.

Very good professor to have if it has been a while after high school. Her test are all multiple choice. Total of 4 test and a final, she replaces the final grade (if higher) for a test with a low score. Do all HW to have an easy 100 points. Took her on Saturday which was a 2 hr class.

Graded on Homework leading up to 5 Exams on connect math and a cumulative final. Took her for summer2020 remote online learning (Covid). Its Math so expect homework! She made the class straight to the point, as simple as possible, teaches well and clearly! Clear deadlines! and no surprises which I like bc I don't really like math. Highly recommend.

Professor Julie Hardys class was super easy, I took this class online so all she does is lecture shows you and goes through with the problem take notes because he notes are exactly as the tests and quizzes. The homework is all due towards end of semester super easy you can get help with Photomath. Highly recommend just be on top of notes& HW

She knows her stuff and nice but a bit disorganized. If you miss her class, make sure you DO THE HOMEWORK because your test will depend on it! I took her summer class and she had 5 tests and an optional final to drop your lowest test score. Also, be VERY careful with ALEKS when answering questions, make sure you follow the format it asks for.

Aleks is class program. 80% of grade is 5 test proctored, (final is opt.), 15% is H.W, 5% is a knowledge test (not proctored). Class Is difficult for me bc I don't put the effort for math. Ms. Hardy gives great lectures. She is a honest prof, you will pass if you put the work in. She tries to make everything as easy as possible. She is an amazing!
