Awesome doesn't even begin to say what kind of professor she is. She is detailed and teaches with all learning styles. You have to study, but she gives you all the information you need to succeed. She's an A+

Excellent Teacher! Knows how to teach, makes it easy to learn. Subject Matter A&P is difficult subject, but she does all she can to make hard topic easier. I had her for both A&P I and II. Highly recommend her! I give her an A+

She is a great teacher. Buy the book if you like but tests are strictly from her notes. Must attend class for quizzes which are very easy. Tests are a little harder but requires a little studying.She really knows her field and she's very helpful.

Mrs Hendriksen is a good professor. The class is hard and she makes no bones about it. She does make herself available after class and set up separate study times if you need further help but be wary of asking questions during class. She has an agenda and follows it strictly, she doesn't vary. For the tests, memorize your notes and you'll be ok.

I really liked Mrs. Hendriksen! She is so nice and so willing to help her students get an A. She makes her own notes for each chapter and every quiz/test is taken directly from her notes. I definitely recommend her! She is best Anatomy & Physiology teacher at PHCC!!

If you have to take Anatomy & Physiology, I highly recommend that you take it with Mrs. Hendriksen. She explains the subject very clearly. She gives you quiz but they help you on your chapter exams. I got an A in the class.

I've always been the one to fail science classes, but professor Hendriksen is by far the best science professor I've ever had. I ended up getting an A in her class. She helps you throughout the entire semester and is willing help if you're struggling. The materials not easy but as long as you study you'll be fine.

Hendriksen is BY FAR the BEST Anatomy and Physiology teacher ever! She is EXTREMELY helpful in any way that she can be, and is always there when you need any extra help! Never had such a wonderful, helpful, and caring teacher in my college career! She will do ANYTHING to help you understand the material, and will give you everything that will be on the test! The material is hard, so the class isn't easy! But Mrs. Hendriksen makes this class worth your while!

Professor Hendriksen is great! You need to show up and be active. Make sure you study it is not a class to wing or you will fail. She is very helpful if you go to her and willing to help. One of the best I've had in attending for 2 years. I would highly recommend her and take her again!

Ms. Hendriksen Is the BEST A&P teacher I have every had. She gives clear instructions for what to expect on the quizzes and Exams. She makes all her lecture material available online which I found VERY helpful for studying. This is NOT a class you can skate through, you do need to study. Shes not a harsh grader, she is very fair. Highly recommend!

This class is not an easy A, but if you study you can certainly get an A. She gives you fill-in outlines for her lectures. Everything on the exams is right from the lecture outline, it is just a lot of material to memorize. Invest in flashcards, give up your social life, and study.

Professor Hendriksen was amazing. Because of her, I now know what field I want to go in. She's extremely clear with her lectures and always stays on task. She gives you fill in the blank notes which are EXTREMELY important to pass the tests. It's definitely not an easy A, but I ended up with a 99 in the class. So it's possible with some studying.

Professor Hendrickson is an amazing teacher! She makes things so clear when it comes to her lectures and she'll take the time to explain things if you don't understand. Her tests aren't that hard as long as you study, she gives you the outline of what you have to study to make it easier on you. If you don't go over it in class it's not on the test.

Mrs. Hendriksen is very nice and if you have a problem with anything just email her and she's very understanding. I wish I could take her for every class! The only homework you'll have is the mastering a&p every Wednesday and the occasional take home quiz (which is awesome). test are easy and to the point. and she's pretty! lol

I took this professor for AP 2 lecture and lab. This class requires a lot of studying but all of her tests are based on her outlines. She doesnt use any tricks in her tests and she curves if she has to. I loved my experience with this professor

GREAT TEACHER! This class is by no means easy but if you pay attention and are prepared before walking in the door, she gives you everything you need to easily pass her tests. You will have to study for several hours outside of class to get an A but she is VERY fair and easy to follow. HINT: Make sure you fill out your outline before lecture.

Prof hendriksen is the best A&P teacher. She hands out outlines of the material you need to know. She'all go over the power points and lectures very well. Study the outline, and you'll pass. I took her for A&P 1 and 2. She cares for her students and you'll learn lots from her. Definitely take her!

THE BEST PROF EVER. She is very thorough, respected, and caring. She gives you tons of resources to help study and great lectures. Prepare to study your butt off because this class has a lot of information to cover. Her tests were multiple choice and most quizes were group or take-home. She wants you to pass, but it's up to you to study and pass.

Professor Hendriksen is an amazing professor. She is very thorough during her lectures and her labs as well. Take notes and make sure you draw her funny drawings on your lecture print outs; It will help greatly during study time. Oh, and STUDY!!! If you do not study, you will not pass. She also gives 4 bonus pts. on all of her lecture & lab exams.

By far one of the best professors I have ever had.. She is extremely understanding. She prints out outlines for each chapter which help tremendously when studying for the exams. The exams are difficult, but she offers EC several times throughout the semester. Almost impossible to fail (I say almost because my friend did nothing and failed)

Professor Hendriksen is honestly the best teacher I have ever had for any science course. She has a sense of humor, easy going atmosphere but makes you understand the material clearly and precisely. The textbook is not necessary but can help you. Fill in the blank notes are provided during lectures and will be most likely on the test.

Professor Hendriksen is awesome. She is devoted to science in every aspect. Her tests are 50 multiple choice, and they come straight from the notes. The online assignments that she gives are very easy, with little reading to go along with them. She assigns an essay assignment as well, but is not a heavy grader in the least. Loved her class.

Awesome professor! She is clear and makes the subject matter easy to understand. It is a hard class, and you need to study and put the work in, but if you do you can easily get a good grade with this professor. Make sure to take her for Lab too, but shoot for the lab that is earlier in the week to avoid having lecture and lab tests on the same day.

Gives guided notes that are fill in the blank from the PowerPoints. All tests are straight from the guided notes. Study and you will pass. Very leaned back teacher and welcoming. Gives lots of make up opportunities and extra credit. Lab class was given everything we needed to study in a packet and reviewed everything in the lab as well.

She is a spectacular Professor. record her lectures and replay them. Her study guides for each chapter are on point and will be in her chapter exams. Dont even bother reading the book. Only study the study guides. There are 5 exams. How to pass this class? Rewriting, flash cardsmemorization of study guide. Seriously. Study guide is your A+

Show up for lab. Study The PowerPoints. Watch the videos she gives you to study the gross anatomy. I love the class. So prepare to memorize & spell as best as you can! 50 test questions on lab practicum! 4 practicums No word bank! Her study guide is all you need! She tells you exactly what to study! 16 Prelabs and 11 post labs. Dont miss class.

Professor Hendriksen is not only super knowledgeable about the subject, she is willing to answer your questions and explain things so that you'll understand. The tests are based on outlines and notes she gives but textbook use will help. I am amazed by A & P anyway, and Prof. Hendriksen inspired me even more. I highly recommend this professor.

Very nice teacher who is real & honest. Everything she teaches is on the test, nothing that we didn't learn. Just be ready to study hard bc its a lot of complex material but she's very reasonable and clearly loves what she does. I would definitely like to have her again.

The lectures are fill-in-the-blank notetaking from powerpoint slides. Admittedly quite boring, but the class is incredibly easy. Minimal thinking is required. It's all rote memorization, which may be a problem if that's something you struggle with. Labs are also dead simple. Ms. Hendriksen is a nice, caring teacher, and the class is an easy A.

I have taken Professor Hendriksen for both Anatomy 1 and 2. She has been flexible and understanding through this whole Covid thing. She cares about her students and wants them to succeed. Quizzes are taken as a group and her notes really help prepare you for the tests.

AP2 was very challenging. Buckle in for a rough semester but she will be very fair and is very understanding.

Absolutely amazing teacher!

She gives you a fill in the blank study guide and you fill them out during her lectures. SO EASY and so considerate of other classes. Take her 100%. The tests are word for word the study guides. Her Lab section was easy as well, just label the anatomy. She is so kind and gives you the answers for the tests in the study guide, so just read it.

If all professors could be like her, we would all be enjoying college. she was clear, to the point, knew her material, stayed on topic. The tests were laid out in a manner that wasn't tricky. she really wanted us to do well and understand the material. if you want to learn and pass a class 100000% recommend her. She was the best I've had at PHSC.

best class ever, I finished my AA after A&P 1, came back to take A&P 2 with her. Very caring. It is a very dense class but use her study guides(!!!). Has recorded lectures Gives extra credit occasionally. allows a test retake toward the end of the semester Can not stress how much I recommend. Had to shorten for length's sake bc she's that good

Was nervous going into a&p1 after hearing stories about how difficult it can be but professor hendriksen made this class as easy as it could be. She was very understanding and tried her best to make sure everyone succeeds. This class is always going to be a hard one but she made the experience as amazing as it could be!

This class with this professor was amazing!! She makes exam review PowerPoints that make the exams a piece of cake if you study and review the material she gives. I would recommend her to every beginner student! The class consists of 4 practical exams with some homework assignments.

All the work was off of McGraw Hill, and it wasn't too rigorous or time consuming. Some weeks are assigned more chapters than others, but most of the time you could get the entire week's worth of work done in one day. Just a smartbook, connect, then quiz, all open book. Only four discussion posts, none of them take too long and they're simple.

Really sweet and caring professor, lectures can be boring but she provides notes outlines to follow along with. Some of the tests were difficult but as long as you study hard you should be fine.

A&P is not the easiest to learn without studying,however She does the most a teacher can do to help you pass this class, but again you need to study. Tests are directly made based off of the study guides during lecture, and she gives opportunities for extra credit throughout the semester. I took both A&P 1 & 2, Lecture& lab highly recommend
