Julie gives due dates far in advance and is always available to answer questions you have. Attendance is mandatory, but it isn't a bore to be in class. There are weekly quizzes, but no large exams. If I wasn't a senior, I would definitely take more classes of hers!

Julie is a great professor! The assignments are fun, but Julie does expect a lot from you, and you do need to put thought and effort into each assignment. If you take the time to do the assignments, you will benefit from the class, because each assignment has meaning. Julie is also very good at answering any of your questions or concerns!

Great professor. Posts and emails weekly announcements that are very helpful and informative. There was a lot of work required including discussions, quizzes and a few big assignments, but she gives you plenty of time for everything!

Professor Zaloudek was knowledgeable about the subject area. Only problem was in the D2L site, which was most likely a technical issue and not something the instructor was responsible for.

I find Mrs. Zaloudek to be very helpful with whatever assignment is given. This is my second time taking a class with this professor. My first time taking an online course with her was very interesting and hands on. She always makes time for her students and try to answer any questions they have. I really enjoyed her teaching.

Instructor was very helpful and quick to respond to any questions. She makes herself available by several ways. The only thing I don't like is that you need to learn so many different technology programs. With limited time, I am afraid I'm going to be spending a large amount of time figuring out different programs.

Great Intro Course

Dr. Zaloudek is a wonderful professor who makes the expectations for class clear to us right away. For this online class all work was due at the same time (Sunday night) which was great. No worries about missing a due date. Dr. Zaloudek has wonderful lectures and I would highly recommend taking classes form her again!

I have never appreciated a class so much. Dr. Zaloudek is one of the best teachers I have had in a long time. She is helpful and useful. I wish there were more teachers like her!

Dr. Zaloudek was a wonderful, educated professor. Having come from a community college I was unaware of the vast difference between a college and a university. I have been pleasantly surprised by the thoroughness and accuracy of the instruction obtained via this online course. I would highly recommend a course taught by Dr. Zaloudek to anyone.

I really enjoyed this class, it was a great introduction to the field I hope to spend my life in and this course helped me plan out how the rest of my classes will be taken.

I thought the class was relatively easy. She expected a lot from you, but she also was understanding when it came to certain things. She graded easy for some things, but for other things she was a tough grader.

I really liked this class. You are a great instructor. I like the fact that you actually communicate with your students for whatever the reason maybe. I also like that you respond back ASAP for the simplest questions that your students may have, I also like the fact that your assignments are clear and you give examples of what you are looking

Do all of the assignments and you should do very well in this course. Dr. Zaloudek is very quick to email students back, and never makes you feel silly for asking a question! I highly recommend taking any course with her! :)

Online class lay out wonderful. Loved the weekly posting of what was happening that week. Course schedule clear and you always knew what was due, what was expected, and when it was due. She gives great examples and feedback. Enjoyed her as my professor.

This was an Intro class, and well organized. The instructor gave us assignments that ensured we understood how to use the online learning tools, helped us to plan our career as a student, and prepared us for the type of work we can expect to perform in our field. I enjoyed her teaching style and course lay-out.

Julie is incredibly flexible of working with students with busy schedules, especially online. She understands that life gets in the way sometimes and that school isn't always on our mind. This class has one major group paper which eventually leads into an all class paper. It's all about the team work! Julie is very easy to work with and is prompt when replying to emails. She is understanding and willing to help. I would recommend taking the class with Julie.

Dr. Zaloudek's classes are a bit more difficult than average and a bit more work than average, but you learn A LOT. She is very knowledgeable and extremely helpful. She's one of my favorite professors.

Great class - she makes you want to be interested in Family Policy. She helps show the connection between you and family policy even if you didn't think there was one. Stay on top of the group project and have a positive attitude about it and you will do just fine.

The class was an excellent way to get into the course work that would be coming. It was a nice place to start to understand was expected of an online course. I have been enrolled in multiple online classes with Julie as the instructor. She makes everything clear and takes the time to make sure you understand the content and her expectations. 10/10 for online presence. Don't expect her classes to be the kind where you can slack off though. The work requires critical thinking skills and participation.

Professor Zaloudek is a wonderful instructor. I was lucky enough to have her in multiple classes, and I have to say her classes are where I learned the most. Her coursework is challenging and truly makes you work for your grade, but you come out feeling accomplished and are able to say you learned a ton!

You will be reading a lot, but she is so great at designing the class so that it is doable for many diverse types of learners. I really appreciated that and she makes every so clear that there is very little confusion. She also makes the weeks very similar so you know what to expect each week with criteria! Great professor!

There is a lot of reading involved with this class. There are some long lectures, but they were interesting. The grading criteria was clear as were all the expectations of homework and due dates. Great class to take for both personal and professional growth.

She is a wonderful professor. There is definitely a lot of work to do but none of it seems tedious or like "busy work". All of the assignments are beneficial to those that wish to have a career in the HDFS field. It will be sad to have her leave as the Online Program Director.

Doesn't really have a heavy course load which is nice because your able to take your time with the assignment and gain knowledge rather than rushing through it.

This professor is great! She provides great tools and resources to utilize while learning important subject matter. Staying on top of reading and homework is important and try not to get behind. She is very help and provides accessible office hours for online students. For this class, this is the professor you want!

Julie is a great teacher who makes sure you know what is coming next. She will send out great videos that definitely help you and keep you on track. I especially like that everything was sorted out on the weekly schedule and she would remind you every Sunday what was to come that next week and what was due. GREAT teacher!

Zaloudek was very helpful during this class and really cares for her students. I felt that she offered plenty of resources and guidance in what she expected her class to get from the material and for the coursework. I will definitely not be afraid of taking her classes in the future!

Julie was an excellent professor despite teaching a class that many people are not interested in (Statistics). She made it as lively and entertaining as possible while still taking our learning very seriously and providing constructive feedback for all assignments and in-class activities.

She was very straight forward and replied quickly when I had specific questions. Very good projects to set yourself up for your future and graduation. You have to put some work in like a normal class but if you don't leave it for last minute it's not bad.

I really liked this class, and thought it was a wonderful look at the HDFS field. Also a realistic one. I enjoyed the fact that class seemed more about learning, and preparing for work in the field, rather than about grades, and trivial things. I like classes that are about learning. Not jumping thru hoops to earn a grade.

Professor Zaloudek was very available and interactive. Her incite and advice led to aditional information I had not considered. Any student having her leadership will find much more than they had thought possible and may more avenues of exploration. She showed a great deal of understanding of indivual needs but still encouraged alternative solution

Whenever I emailed Dr. Zaid with a question, she answered promptly.

She offers multiple ways to get credit for one assignment, LOVE this!! Everyone learns differently. By offering more than her own one way, I got more out of the assignment by choosing the way I would learn the best. She communicated well if i ever had questions and I would take her again.

I really enjoyed this class actually. There was a lot of handy information for those of us in the helping profession, communication was excellent, and the work load fair. One thing, I put "yeah" for hotness, because I didn't want to put no, but really, I have to say that's not something I ever thought about haha. I am sure you look just fine tho.

Biggest thing was the idea that participation matters in class discussions and class assignments. Was very clear with grading and was very fair when grading assignments and discussion boards. Was attentive to questions asked and responded within a reasonable time frame. There was a chance for extra credit which helped. The feedback was relevant.

I took this class online and wow there is a lot of assignments. Make sure you keep up with the discussions, quizzes, etc., The quizzes are only 5 questions but you cannot make them up if you miss them . The class is not awfully hard but you will need to pay attention to the lectures.

If you participate in discussions, get your assignments done on time and fully you'll do just fine. It's tough to get into the materials at first but by the end it pulls you in and has you looking at different policies more clearly.

Dr. Zaloudek is tougher than most when grading, but if you actually care about your program and class content, she's an amazing champion for your success. Above and beyond available. Sometimes comes off condescending but that is NOT what's in her heart. Generous with her time!!
