Interesting class. Prof. Dee is great! Love her raps - never fell asleep during her class. Review sheets are helpful - but exams are somewhat wordy...can get through them though. Take this class!

Take this class if you're taking hard classes. You'll have a lot of fun and you'll get an A. This lady is so funny when rapping and she is the nicest creature on the block.

Class requires little work. If you go to class and do the study guide you can get an A without reading a page! She even does a little rap to help you the day before the test!

One of the easist classes i have ever took. Make sure you get the notes and you wont have to attend or read a single thing. Tests are very easy!

Good teacher. Trys to make subject matter entertaining. Can be airheaded at times, but never in a bad mood. Can easily skip class and not miss much. Her "suburban white lady rap" is odd, but unique.

easy class, i almost never went to lecture and did fine, just get the review sheet, i didn't even buy the books. but when i did go to lecture it was very interesting. got to watch a lot of movie clips.

Class was a piece of cake. I did take it pass/fail, so that is a factor, but I went to class perhaps once every 3 weeks and had a high 80s average. So if you put in the effort, an A should be no problem. Very straightforward exams.

TAKE IT, easiest class taken at this school, and interesting. I NEVER went to class but to take the tests, just buy the review packet, and u are guaranteed a B, just memorize her study guide the night before. easy A if u put forth a lil effort.

I took Studio Television Production with her and it was by far the best class I've ever taken here. She's very helpful, and the class was actually very fun. I looked forward to it.

Here's the truth about the class...the first two exams are really easy, just do study guide and study notes.Final exam,however,she tricks you, do study guide and study notes, but the wording is weird and it is actually a little tough.Easy class tho,piece o cake,raps make you laugh too.

Good professor, she raps which is hysterical. You watch a lot of clips and see slides. Do the study guides, and guarantee yourself at least a B+. Grade based on 3 exams, no cumulative final... I missed an A by 1 question, so it's not that bad at all.

Easy class. I rarely came to lecture, didn't do readings until the night before every exam. Just read the book, do study guides and you should have a B+/A- at worst. Only reason I didnt get an A is because I was an hour late to the final and had to rush.

The University of Delaware is truly lucky to have a professor who is as caring, helpful and educational as she is. Make sure you attend class the tests are straight from the lecture notes and she gives out review sheets before tests. Great class!

i took this as a free elective. easy class and an interesting topic- you just have to actually go to class to get the notes because her tests are straight from the slides. gives a great review sheet and tests are simple.Shes the sweetest lady and really gets excited about the topic. o, and she raps too :) highly recommended.

AMAZING!! take this class, easy A. she is sooooo sweet and crystal clear. She gives a review sheet for every test that corresponds DIRECTLY to the test.

multi choice test are real tricky but a fun class. Her liberal manner is borderline marxist but she recognizes it at least

I love this women! The class was so interesting and after this I took this class I added Comm as my second major! The only thing was that I got As on most of the exams and on the last one I got a B and somehow ended up with only a B+ in the class. Great, easy class though for the most part! Take her! She raps!

Easiest class at UD. She gives a review sheet that is indentical to the test. Make sure to go to the class before the test because she makes up a rap that is entertaining. Being in class feels like being on Montel-Williams because she asks audience questions and runs around with microphone-hysterical.

don't bother buying course packet -- you can def copy the notes and avoid spending 10-15 bucks (unless of course you'd much rather not show up to class and use it instead). i suggest caffeine if you take early class.

great teacher, great class! She just runs around with her microphone and will rap a review before each test! Class is interesting some days, kinda slow on others. 3 exams and open book quiz make your grade. Study JUST her study guides and you'll get an A. Studying took me about 30 min before each exam and I got A-s on all of em...loved this class!

class is fun. only buy the course packet, you won't need a notebook or the textbook. go to class for some notes not in the packet and for her raps. if you need a comm class, this is the way to go.

easy and fun class overall. we watched tons of video clips and watched movies. she raps before each exam which is AWESOME. i never opened the book, only for the open book quiz. the first 2 tests were SO EASY, but the final exam was actually kind of hard. follow your course packet during lectures, take notes on the side, and you'll be golden.

My favorite professor, ever.

Dee is a really sweet lady. The class is easy if you study for the three exams. But there is only three grades, and one quiz grade, so if you mess up one, it's impossible to get your grade up. Tests weren't too bad though. And she is really nice.

Dee is really nice, a little out there though. She rapped before every test which was pretty funny. Three exams, shhe gives you a study guide so if you read that over a few times you'll be fine. DONT BUY THE BOOKS. you iwll be fine without them so save your money

SOOOOO NICE!!! This was my absolute favorite class and professor of all time. She is SO interested in her subject of study and she knows SO much about like everything. The classes are so interesting that you literally WANT to go to every single class. I was sad when I was sick the one day and had to miss! A++++++

The class material was interesting. It is an easy A. However, its important to go to class sometimes because she may go over something that wasnt in her book. Study guide before the exam and multiple choice exams. Thats it.

Professor Dee is adorable!!! class is pretty easy and interesting. She gives out a study guide before each exam, and exactly what is on the study guide is EXACTLY what is on the test! notes are posted on sakai, so attendance is pretty much optional, but i reccomend going to class because she gives out good hints and her lectures are funny. LOVE HER

Great teacher, very clear and knowledgable of the subject. Actually called some of the participants of court cases. She cares about her students, tries to learn everyone's name and makes it as easy as possible to do well. Also she's probably one of the nicest teachers you'll ever have lol

This course was decent, she gives out review sheets before her exams and they're based off those, just have to look over her powerpoint slides. You don't really need the book, but there's one open book quiz and that's about all you use it for. Useful also for her review sheets if something can't be found from the notes.

great class for COMM245. she is the cutest little professor ever. large lecture- so attendance isnt mandatory. however, you would want to attend because the material is interesting (music videos, lots of pictures, video clips), and she also tells you what to put stars by to remember for the next exam. its a great class and i definitely recommend

Go to class because attendance counts towards final grade. Exams are not easy so study a lot, use the study guide and do research outside of class. Class gets boring but she is a great Prof and knows a lot. Don't need the books. But go to class, take notes and study. not an easy A.

She is such a sweet lady. She raps for review in the class prior to an exam. If you fill out the study guide that she gives you, you will do very well on the exams. I would have gotten an A if I did not forget about the final exam and went into it blind. The textbook isn't necessary if you have prior years study guides.

LOVE this class

Prof Dee was amazing, she is so enthusiastic about what she teaches and what she does. She truly is a sweetheart but in many cases graded too hard especially for a required supposedly "English" class. The class was more of a AP Gov class with multiple choice tests than papers. Always helpful though with study guides.

Exams are multiple choice tests with SAT style questions. She gives you reading material only listed in a line in an email. The day before the test, she will try and cram an entire unit into 30 minutes because she dilly dallies through the rest of the classes. She always has problems with technology. The material is interesting. Terrible prof.

Dr. Dee is adorable. If you reach out to her she is so helpful and will really help you out. 245 is super easy mostly because its just easy information. She makes it fun. She's a very sweet caring women, who really cares about her students.

I took this class for non-major. Have to say it's not a hard class, missing so many lectures then I pass. The grade depends on 3 exam and online HW. Before exam she will provide review sheet which is helpful. Just keep in mind that do understand and memorize the review sheet, you will be fine on exam.

She takes attendance every class so you need to go or have someone else sign you in, but it's a pretty enjoyable class. She shows videos and she raps a review the class before exams. The wording on exams is annoying, but the questions aren't that hard if you study her review sheet. She is the sweetest woman and will help you with anything you need.

No attendance but she tells you everything that will be on the test in class so I recommend going. 2 tests, 1 final, all super doable if you study the night before. You don't need the textbook but the course packet is a necessity and great to study from. She raps a review before every exam and is all around a good person. Study a quizlet the day before and you'll pass.

Dee is so nice but really disorganized. She gives study guides for the exams with just topics covered in a list, in no particular order, you have to sort through the course packet. Questions on exams can be ridiculously specific and obscure. A lot of her information is outdated, and constant mispronunciation of words can be kinda distracting.

Professor Dee is one of the most caring professors I have seen. Especially during this pandemic and going online she has been really accommodating. I could not recommend her enough. Love Professor Dee!

I may be a little biased since most of the semester was online but Professor Dee was super accommodating! All the tests became weekly quizzes and we were allowed to use the book so they were easy! There are about 15 homeworks but those are all super easy and on quizlet. This class is also really interesting in general and she does test review raps!

Dr. Dee has been the most kind and caring professor I've ever had. She is genuinely excited about media, but even more excited to get to know her students. Things could get disorganized, but she never let it affect her students' grades. I would definitely recommend her Broadcast Programming class to those interested in working in TV/radio.

This was my second class with Dr. Dee and I'm so upset it will be my last. She made the course so manageable as a synchronous zoom, with weekly quizzes from the coursepack. The new research requirement was easy to complete. She cares a lot about her students: wrote me a rec letter, invited me to dinner, and asks about everyone's lives. TAKE HER!

Very caring and sweet professor. Her exams were easy, I studied for a few minutes and got above a 90 on all of them. If you go to class you'll pass and do great, simple as that. She does assign weekly chapter assignments that take about 30 minutes. She is also very understanding and will give extensions if needed.

She is one of the sweetest professors and is truly interested in this class and her excitement/enjoyment from teaching it shows. Her exams are very easy because she gave a study guide with exactly the topics that will be on the test, so all you need is to go to class and take notes. If you do miss something it's posted online which is very helpful.

Very sweet lady who will gently help you with your questions. The material in this course is interesting but the exams are really extremely difficult, maybe you need to memorize a third of American media law in less than a month. There are no other assignments but you can only pin your grade on the three closed book exams.

Class is interesting and as long as you study and attend you will do fine. A lot of court cases to memorize, exams are not too difficult but there are only 3 and that is basically your entire grade
