He is a really good professor. He is really clear with his explanations and he is very willing to help you if you need it.

Def. take Prof Guillen any time that you can!!!! He is so nice and so helpful and SO easy ... I would def. take him again for any class even if i didnt need it for my major lol

He's a good Statistics teacher, but horrible Calculus teacher, especially Cal 3.

Prof. Guilin is a great professor and willing to teach during his free time. He will explain and extend days as long a student accomplishes his/her work.

If you are looking to get a good grade in a math class than take him. Not a lot of work is necessary and if if it is than its really simple and easy. Easy A or B grade.

just put up with the corny jokes and you'll do fine.

A definate take! At first he acts like he is capable of failing you but as time goes on he will do ANYTHING to help you pass. He does NOT enjoy failing people. U'd have to be a real screw up.

he is damn cool. he is so easy teacher and helpful. take this teacher in any math class u will learn more and understand much. and pass easly with A.

He is very helpful and I'm currently a psych major that needs someone who will be honest with the essentials that i will need to continue with my education. The class is easy but that doesn't mean you can't fail - I know some students who's grades are in the 70's or lower. So trust me its not that easy to understand certain advanced math courses.

Guillen is the man! He's really laid back, but I disagree with the people saying you won't learn anything, he knows what he's doing. Not everyone's a mathmetician...sometimes its better to just have a regular guy teaching. This is one of my favorite teachers and he has a great attitude.

I had him for Algebra Express. This class was only for one week and I was refreshed on everything that I learned over the years. For the short time that I had him, he made it easy for ways to approach a algebra problem.

This professor is very clear with his lessons. I look foward to the hw because I can understand it after the class session. The work is only easy because he teaches with such clarity. It is worthwhile to take this class. P.S the jokes are very funny.

Prof. Guillen rocks! Never did I think that I'd ever understand Math again until I took math with him. He explains concepts easily, and guides you step by step -- you'd WANT to do the HW to practice what you've learned. He made me appreciate Math (what a shock!).

think it's an easy A don't take him. the prof read all the negative comments on here on he changed. I even got 100% on an exam and I still didn't get an A becuz of the attitude he got from reading how unappreciative the students in the past have been. he feels let down by the students & he no longer is out to really help them like before so thanks

had him for Stat 1 and he is not an easy A. he will help you if you need help but I got B's on all of my exams and my final grade is B. so if he is an easy A where is my A. whatever you earn is what you get. do not listen to math majors who already know everything about math that's why it's an easy A for them.

I won't take him again - I earned an A and I didn't get it. I wasn't treated fairly so no more for me.

Def. a great and cool professor. He tells you what exactly comes out in the exams and tries to explain your question until you understand it

Easy to work with if you are willing to learn. Professor Giullen takes time out for one on one with struggling students to make sure they understand clearly.He likes perfect attendance and neat appearance in class.

attend his class, take good notes, pay attention and i'm sure you'll pass. he's down to earth and he'll help you when you need it. plus he adds jokes here and there to make the class even better. he explains math much better than my highschool teacher did. I RECOMMEND HIM.

I had Prof. Guillen for Stats. I was terrified to take this class. I thought I would do terrible. I didn't thanks to this professor. If you want a nice Professor who is reasonable with their assignments and helps their students take Prof. Guillen. I wish all Professors were like this one. A++++

Prof Guilen is "CHILLIN" Like Bob Dylan!! If he is available take him. Very helpful and explains everything very well, you will get your money's worth. Do your homework the test are all based on homework example problems. Be honest if you did or did not do your homework he is not a sucker.He will know by your test score

I LOVE HIM! Sweetest guy ever! Easy class! Open notebook/textbook/iPhone exams! Do the hw even though he doesn't check it because some exam questions are from the hw, so if you do it, u just copy what u have down in ur notebook. I wanted to take him for PSYC 230 but he teaches it late -_- but OMG take him! GPA booster seriously! Such a sweetheart!

easy A. open book test. accent makes him a little hard to understand at times but he is very clear with explaining the math.very straight forward.Old but so cute.assigns hw but doesnt collect it.but do it anyway its helpful on test and its only a little bit of hw. takes attendence. This is the best class that you will ever take. He gives handouts which you will do in class that's going to be on examS and the hw problems are the examS. I would defintely recommend him. He is so cute and he looks like a detective when he has his hat on. TAKE HIM!!! :-)

He's a cute "lil'ol man" with a PERSONALITY.Things you need to know tho 1.GET THE TEXTBOOK 2.ALL TESTS OPEN BOOK&NOTES 3.DO THE HW SO YOU CAN DO THE TEST IN 2 minutes cause the tests are mainly from hw&cw.4.hes serious when he says "We will all go home if you answer this question in 10seconds"

Prof Guillen was great. 45% of your grade is based on homework. 45% of your grade is based on exams. The remaining 10% is based on the final. Allows ample time for coursework. Very helpful. Overall, the best math professor that I've ever had!

Prof. Guillen is excellent. It is crucial that you complete 100% of the homework and you are on time for his class. If necessary use the tutoring sessions to ensure homework is correct. The professor has a great sense of humor and makes the class relax and less stressful. Again make sure you complete YOUR HOMEWORK.

I took Prof G for online statistics. No regrets. he is very clear. No tricks no surprises. 6 homeworks and 7 test. But don't get scared , you will easily earn an A.
