Good teacher, just not at 8 am
No Comments
Really chill and hot!
Very unorganized, unhelpful, not articulate for a college setting
Very cool.
He's kinda out there...but the class isn't that much work. No tests, just essays. The final exam is an essay that you write at home.
No tests all papers. Speaks monotone so if you are not a morning person don't take his 8 am. Not a difficult class.
ways of reading....rough
Very tough grader.....explanations are not helpful at all, no concrete examples of anything.....lots of papers....monotone voice.....need I say more???? Wouldn't recommend this class.

Sensitive soul. Listen. Read between the lines. He has much to say.
I RECOMMEND HAYES. i never learned so much in english in my life. he has a lot to say and his papers aren't too hard if you pay attention to what he wants. take this class if you're interested in writing.
Hayes can be a great teacher. He's smart about what he teaches but he can be unclear at times. He's also sometimes philosophical. There's a paper every class but it's not too difficult once you can grasp the concept of reading with and against the grain. It might be tough at first and awfully repetititve & you only get one grade at the end.
He is a great teacher. I have finally found English papers to be fun and not have to write with guidelines. I know people who absolutely hate their englishes classes. I enjoy going to these classes because he is young and exciting to listen to.
Hayes is a very boring guy. Every day in english theres a 2-page paper due. He never checks to see if you wrote the papers until there all due for the midterm...so you can write 10 papers in a night if you wanted to.
He seriously trips too much for his own good........but yea besides that if you understand what you're doing the class is easy
he seriously answers every question you ask him with another question. Like if you have a serious question about a paper and want a straight forward answer he will ask you a question in response to your question and it will most likely make no sense.
No help offered! Hard grader, and is very unclear in class as to what he was looking for. Don't take him! A LOT OF PAPERS!
I really enjoyed this class after a while...he is a really deep thinker. Most lectures would consist of class conversation about certain ideas that were really philosophical. Papers were not that bad but the topics were abstract. I would reccommend him to anyone
don't take him... essay due each class... on nothing useful... learned nothing
Great teacher! Classes and assignments provoke deep thought and deeper writing, really improved alot over the course of the semester. Grade is based on improvement. Easy to talk to too, very laid back. Would reccomend to anyone!
Horrible teacher. Horrible unfair grader. His comments arent helpful. He doesn't make any sense, he's very unclear and the class itself is a huge waste of time. I do not recomend.
ehhh...nice guy, doesnt care about attendance...tough grader and wants a 2 page paper due every class...thinks way too deep into things...if you like english, he'll be ok..if you dont, dont take him
Bad class, assignments don't make sense....teacher is nice but if you ask a question he answers it with another question...two page paper due every class
Hayes can be hard...if you put no effort into the class. participate in class, pay attention closely to what he says, and do the assignments. i had katz first semester (BEWARE) and Hayes second, and hayes was so much better. chill guy, and if i have any advice, work hard on the reflexive part of the essay, this is what he cares about most
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS! It is such a waste of time, his assignments have nothing to do with English. You don't learn anything useful and you do the same thing every day. When you ask him questions he doesn't give you helpful answers. This was the most boring and useless semester ever!!
Good class if you are a good, hardworking writer. Can be confusing at times but if you write well and follow his directions and comments you will do well in this course.
Hayes is a good teacher. Can be a little confusing, and tends to answer questions with questions but he gives you a lot of room for interpretation. Reasonable and fair amount of work compared to other EN teachers, a bit of revision. All in all I'd reccomend him to anyone!
Alright guy, tries to be funny sometimes. Tends to answer questions with other questions, and sometimes not very clear. No midterm or final though, and there's less writing than most of the other english classes. Group work was useless though.
The WORST english class I have EVER taken. Seriously, he does not say more than like 2 sentences every class because you just sit there and write the SAME collaborative essay EVERY class. I love english, but this guy does not know how to teach at all.
Most useless class I have ever taken. We do the same exact assignment every day and he gives absolutely no direction. He doesn't give good feedback on essay's, and doesn't answer questions clearly at all. I would not recommend him to anyone.
To my understanding hayes is, in a sense, intentionally and necessarily vague. THIS IS NOT A BAD THING! He does not impose his views and understandings but instead probes students to develop their own, however, not without sufficient logical justiciation.
I thought Prof. Hayes was great. I had Prof. Franklin for EN101 and HATED him and, subsequently, English as a whole. Prof. Hayes was always available and willing to help you with his assignments (they were sometimes confusing), and we was an extremely chill guy. I would definitely recommend him.
He is such a strange man. he is quiet and doesnt teach at all. we do the same thing every class. he puts an assignment on blackboard and we write a 600 word essay in class with our group. the readings are challenging and the class is the most confusing thing. dont bother asking questions becuase he will just confuse you even more. easy class
He was the worst professor I have ever had in my life. He seriously does not teach the class at all and I've heard him say maybe 5 sentences the entire semester. I absolutely do not recommend him and I feel bad if you end up having to take him.
Absolute worst professor. He does not help in any way, and doesn't answer any of your questions clearly. When I told him I didn't understand something I read, he said "Understand? What's understand? You don't need to understand". He is way too harsh of a grader and the assignments he gives are hard to understand and he doesn't explain them at all.
Hayes is a tricky guy. He isn't clear but that is because he wants you to form your own thoughts. This could be rather hard if all your prior English teachers have held your hand, but if you really listen you will learn, but never EVER ask him 'How much haze could a Hayes haze Hayes if a Hayes haze could haze Hayes?' I learned that the hard way..
I came into the class with an open mind after reading all of his poor reviews (Took him because no other sections open) He is a strange man, he isn't clear and the class doesn't have much structure. If you really try to understand the class, you may do ok but if not you'll likely end up with a C.
Do not take! Very confusing semester long essay. Group work every class & he doesn't teach anything. You have to rely on your group to do work and there is only one assignment that your grade is based on.
This man literally makes no sense. If you ask for help, he tells you to "read the directions". But the directions never make any sense either. You really don't learn anything in that class, even if you try, because it's so abstract. DO NOT TAKE.
Professor Hayes is abstract/philosophical to such an extent that he no longer makes any sense at all. However, if you "try" to understand him and put effort into the assignments in class there is no reason why you can't receive an A. There is no homework. We worked on the same 40 page story for the entire semester.
He's very confusing. The entire semester you work in groups on collab essays where you can sit on fb mostly. He lets you out early. The project is confusing but if you meet with him you will do better and understand the project. Hes a nice guy just a little weird.
WORST TEACHER DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. You do the same collaborative essay every single class and don't learn a thing. Final grade based on one paper.
Unless you're interested in doing a collaborative essay every single class going "with and against the grain" (whatever that even means because to this day I still dont know), DO NOT TAKE. He's not helpful at all worst teacher. Nice guys but terrible teaching skills and terrible class.
may be repetitive, and may be 'unclear' but gets you to think in class, because in all seriousness when are things in life going to be handed to you with clear directions? You become a more independent student in his class. Also, if you go to his office hours, he is more than willing to sit with your paper and help you**HIGHLY recommend office hours
he's a great professor, very relaxed and more than willing to help I would take his class again!
Nice guy, very helpful. Class is kinda weird and repetitive though.
Prof. Hayes is really unclear. I loathed this class because I always felt lost and couldn't even begin to ask the right questions to catch up. He does little to no teaching. You basically write the whole time and if you ask a question he answers with a question. I thought he was supposed to "teach" us about writing??
Weird class to take, mostly writing papers and analyzing passages in small groups. It's extremely confusing as you start, but the more you go and participate, the better you'll get and understand.
Always do group essays which is very helpful. Confusing to understand what he actually wants at first but after you figure it out you're set. Constantly gives comments back on what to do. Extremely approachablehelpful Read the passages, 2 the whole year, thats what you're comparing to. Only hw is reading and the 3 final papers that are on your own
For the amount of money (in loans) I'm paying to attend QU, I don't think desiring a teacher to "teach" is too much to ask. For Prof Hayes I guess it is. He never said much of anything all semester. Group work no discussion every class. He's deliberately vague and smug. Got nothing from this class. Avoid.
Prof Hayes is a good guy, but not a good professor. The concepts and essential learning outcomes for the course are far from obvious. There is very little teaching done as almost all classes involve writing group essays. Furthermore, your grade is a complete mystery until after you finish the class. Avoid his class if you can.
Hayes is the man. He is super chill, gives no lectures or homework. He assigns group papers and you write them all in class until the final paper which is done solo. He only gives you two grades, the midterm, which is then later completely replaced by the final. If you show up, do your work, and ask questions, you will get an A.
Does the administration know that this guy isn't teaching? My parents don't believe me but all we do in class is group writing. Everyone is on their laptops and looking at instagram. We just keep blindly adding to each others writing and there is no real assignment. He never says anything or talks to us. He sits in the front on his own laptop.
DO NOT TAKE. Put in HOURS of work on the final, which is about the only thing you are graded on the whole semester. Also know other students who put in hours of work and it didn't show in the grades they received. Was given a B- during midterms and he stated the grades would go up yet ended the year with a B-. Was always a good english student.
This class is solely based off group work and is very confusing. I would not reccomend
Nice guy but nothing but paper after paper after paper
You only get graded on one essay. The essay build upon itself. It is very hard to do the assignment exactly how he wants it graded. He isn't very helpful when asking questions. Overall hard class
Says he is going to give most people A's and B's on the final paper, but that doesn't actually happen. Entire grade is based off of one essay, which there is barely an explanation for. Definitely wouldn't take again.
Loved Professor Hayes. His class definitely made you think about your writing but made my writing a lot better. If you participate in class, he recognizes it and it makes an impact on your grade. Showing up to class is also encouraged. Taking him again next semester. Recommend.
I'm glad I was already a great writer because I got nothing from this class! His comments are cryptic and general. Unlike other 101 classes, you spend the entire semester working on the same final paper in several parts, until you have a complete product. The reading is difficult. He gives all class to write though. Some group papers.
(took him for EN102 Grammar&Inquiry) Get ready for group work during every class. The assignments you do throughout the year is a part of the final, so you need to understand what you're doing. Don't be afraid to ask him to re-explain his instructions. The assignments get repetitive/boring, but it's better than writing essays.
Professor Hayes only gives group assignments everyday and everything you do in class leads up to the midterm and the final. He gives comments back but they are no help and I did not learn much from this class at all. Not a good teacher and would never take again. Does not care about students.
At first wasn't really sure what I was getting myself into when he arrived on the first day of class. As class continues on you'll learn he's super laid back and doesn't really care if you're on your computer in class, just make sure you finish the assignment and hand it in on time. Is always willing to meet and teaches you to think outside the box
Hayes easily has the best english class at QU. Hes so laid back and all you have to do is respond to his comments and you will receive a good grade. Do not listen to these other reviews. If you need to take an english class, TAKE HAYES.
Hayes is an awesome professor and deserves a better rating! He understands that you have other work from class and very flexible with when things are due. I did not stress at all about his class. It's one big research project that you work all throughout the semester in parts and he gives you feedback so you can def get an A.
Professor Hayes is a great guy. I took him for two semesters in a row and he was great both times. Sometimes you might get some angina because he is philosophical but he is very helpful and willingly to sit with you are work out comments that might have confused you. Definitely show up to class if you want an A. I totally recommend him.
Every essay in this class is collaborative. Do not take him unless you want to write an essay with 3 strangers for a whole semester. Only grades one essay all semester and is very misleading as to whether or not you are on the right track. He might say your essay is great and give you a B as a final grade with no explanation.
Great dude, Class is mostly working on group practice papers that are not graded. You then use the practice papers to write your own work!
Nothing about this class makes sense. Your grade is based off of bizarre "language games" that will leave you confused the entire semester. His comments are vague and do not help you at all. You have no idea how you are doing all semester because he only gives you a grade at the midterm and the final. Terrible class and terrible teacher.
Never really teaches, just gives many papers and assignments to work on in class.
Doesnt teach. Just shows up to class and assigns the most confusing work.
Super nice but the essays you'll be writing are very strange. However, he helps you prepare for these essays be working in groups which is very helpful. He admits the three essays you'll be writing are really difficult but he's also understanding. The highest midterm grade he gives is a B- but thats for every english 101 class as well.
There was no teaching so I don't really know what to say. You go to class and sit on your laptop in a group. He never explains things. Just sits there on his own computer. Answers questions with questions. This class made my brain hurt - and not in a good way.
The class kinda sucks, but he's not a bad dude. We only wrote 2 essays, and pretty much all classes you work on group essays. You can pretty much scrap by doing the bare minimum. I didnt read either of the books and still got a B in the class. Hes a nice dude the class was just boring but its better than writing multiple graded essays over the year
Really chill dude, as long as you have more than 5 brain cells and are willing to take a different approach to write essays you can do well. He definitely does things different but anytime I asked him for advice he gave good feedback. Sometimes he answers a question with a question but honestly its only because he knows it willl help your writing.
Chill and very nice. His style's very different - you write a small piece of an essay yourself and then mix it into one big essay with other students. It's unique and there isn't a right way to write an essay, he really breaks the high school mold way of writing. He also taught me how to read large passages and be able to get the main idea of them
Not sure where all the good reviews suddenly came from. I had Hayes last semester and as others have said it was a confusing class. I was frustrated because I am a good student but always had to work with others who were not reliable. That effected my grade. He did almost no teaching. Everyone was on laptops including him for all of class.
No. Just no. This class makes absolutely no sense. Every other English class is writing research papers on things they want and you're stuck interpreting a text with no meaning according to a rule that makes no sense. He doesn't teach at all and basically leaves you in the dark, then tells you you're doing everything wrong. Just take anyone else.
DO NOT TAKE HIM BY ANY MEANS. he is a nice guy but the class makes absolutely no sense at all. your entire grade is based off of one project and it is so confusing. you basically write three essays based off of a text that literally has zero meaning and when he makes comments on your writing for revisions, you just get more confused. NO JUST NO!
HORRIBLE CLASS!! The papers we write make no sense! The lectures were incredibly boring because we wrote on our laptops for the entire class period. He was difficult to understand, and it was the hardest A- I've ever worked for. There was no point in going to class because every assignment could be done on our own time.
DO. NOT. TAKE. most confusing class. No matter how hard i tried to please his feedback for revisions, he still wasnt happy. Interesting how some kids got an A using the EXACT ideas i had within their final projects, but i got left with a B. He will make you write essays using rules like "grammar is an angel". WHO even comes up with that? AVOID.
I thoroughly recommend it. The entire curriculum is one lengthy essay. Hayes helps you big time with writing. Pros are that you work all class individually, and I haven't stayed for the full 75 minutes EVER!
DON'T take this class. Spare yourself. This is not an English 101 class this is for a Senior. Hayes is a very kind and fun Professor but his class is heinous. The poems are unreadable, his grading is awful, you're never right, and your questions will lead to more questions because the answer leaves you more confused then whe n you started.
Prof. Hayes is a great person and means well. However, his course is based off of one tedious essay that makes NO sense. His lecture periods are pointless because there is not much guidance for this assignment. Not the best prof, would never take again or recommend. I am an outstanding writer and this is the first essay I've ever struggled on.
Please for gods sake just DO NOT take Professor Hayes. He was the most vague and hard to reach professor I have ever experienced. The entire class is graded on one lengthy paper that could be completed in a week but instead is dragged out for an entire semester. Also never responds outside of class so good luck.
Worst professor ever. Cant even teach/ classwork and homework makes no sense. Don't take this class he sucks
Great guy very nice just does one big summary for a few months but allows you to continue to fix it for a better grade
Hayes does not know how to get his students to become engaged in his class. he just sits there and mumbles something for us to do and all the students just kinda look at each other and leave early sometimes. when he "lectures" its like hes in his own little world talking to a brick wall DO NOT take his class
This class was an absolute nightmare. We only worked with one reading that was really hard to understand. Hayes made it so much more difficult than it needed to be- he basically spoke in riddles. When asking for clarification it only made things more confusing. His class is pointless and you won't learn anything.
You probably wont learn anything in this class but professor hayes is a easygoing guy and he helps if you ask. just do the one reading and three essays and that's it. easy a
Hayes is a good professor. You work with one reading the entire semester. The reading is hard to comprehend, but its supposed to be confusing. Hayes helps a lot with your writing. You write a rough draft for your essays and he gives you feedback on them to improve for the revision. Overall, hes a good professor.
If you want to get absolutely nothing out of your english class, take Hayes. Every week I dreaded going to class. Not because it was hard: because it felt entirely pointless (it is). He says EN102 to help to learn how to write in research, but nothing of that sort occurs. The text he uses is nonsense. His instructions are unclear. AVOID IF POSSIBLE
Professor Hayes is not a traditional English teachers but his class will definitely force you to think in new, creative ways. If you think creatively while applying his concepts you will succeed. He wants students to do well and is a good guy.
This man is the most confusing professor I have ever had. He speaks in riddles and answers every question with another question. That being said, I love Professor Hayes. If you are not a creative person, do not take this class because he forces you to think outside the box. This is not a traditional research class and only based on two essays.
The whole semester we stay on this one pointless reading and we do almost the same thing every class. Hayes mumbles his short lectures and barely explains any of his assignments. He's a very tough grader and doesnt leave helpful comments to improve your writing.
Hayes is my favorite professor at qu so far. He is also givign the class office hours to help one on one with projects and always helps out when you ask.
We work on two papers the entire semester. He gives you great feedback and will work with you to get a good grade. Sometimes he was a bit confusing, and the material was hard but not impossible. I was never in class, and he always let us out early. Loved this class.
Very weird teaching methods but such a great guy
You write the same essay for the whole semester so if you finish it by each deadline, the workload isn't insane. He speaks in riddles and makes no sense. I could not even tell you what the essay was about because it was that confusing. Does not make anything clear.
Hayes is a good guy, but I really just don't understand his teaching methods at all. Both times I've had him we do the same paper all semester in a strange format that I have a hunch other professors wont use in future classes I take.
He isn't a harsh grader per say but a very confusing one and I don't get his angle at all. Even professors who are unfair graders I can somewhat see where they're coming from
had him for 101 and 102. He makes you write one or two essays the entire semester and you never need to show up for class. He is very tough with grading and it can be annoying to review your essay over and over, but never had hw or tests to worry about. he was willing to help you out to get grade up, just have to put in effort. Would take again
Professor Hayes was not a very good professor. The final is based off one essay you work on the whole semester. I normally get A's on all of my papers but he is a very, very harsh grader. The paper doesn't make sense. Class isn't mandatory and always ends early. He has not answered my emails once this semester.
Professor Hayes structures the class around students' success. He allows multiple revisions on papers and if you put forth the effort, the class is an easy A. Although the readings are challenging, you can write a good paper off of a general understanding.
Hayes was great when I took him for 101 in Fall. He didn't give much homework, just to read 2 papers and write summaries, and then contrast the two. The final is just working on the latter essay and developing it over the semester. Was pretty easy to do. Hayes also improves your grade as you develop your essay (never lowers it).
NEVER TAKE THIS MAN! he never responds to emails, the course is literally pointless and his comments on the one paper u have to do all semester make absolutely no sense. he is a horrible teacher and is never clear on anything. please take my advice and never take this teacher
Hayes is probably the worst English teacher I have ever had. He is impossible to reach outside of class and his feedback makes 0 sense. I ended up need professional help to complete the essay that was required. DO NOT TAKE HIS CLASS. I'd rather have taken a teacher that doesn't even know how to speak English.
I would not take this man's class again. He only works on 1 essay throughout the whole semester and will fail you even if you have doctor's notes. His comments on your essays don't make sense and when you go and try to meet with him he doesn't help. Take him at your own risk.
The entire semester is spent working on one paper that isn't even a research paper. It is based on a text that makes absolutely no sense. To do well on the paper you have to make stuff up and hope he thinks it makes sense. I do not recommend him to anyone. Also, if you don't go to class that reflects your grade in a very negative way.
English 102 should not feel as impossible as he makes it seem. He is not accessible outside of class, your entire grade is based upon the ability to write random new ideas that he deem worthy and the comments he leaves on your drafts make no sense and are extremely condescending. Worst professor I have actually ever had.
One essay the whole semester as the only grade but you must be Shakespeare to get a good grade
This was possibly the worst English class I have ever taken. He is very unclear with directions and revision directions. He told us he would be surprised if he graded higher than a C. The whole course was based on reformulation writing and not one other EN101 class was working on anything similar. He also does not respond to email ever.
Worst professor I have ever had, you only have one paper the entire semester and he gave everyone unreasonably low grades. Avoid at all costs. English was always my strong-suit but he was extremely rude and condescending and his expectaions were unclear.
Professor Hayes is a nice guy, but definitely not a great professor. His class isn't demanding/ workload heavy at all, but the content, lectures, and grading isn't clear at all. We read one long essay that doesn't make a fraction of sense and write based off of it just to get notes on our personal essays that aren't helpful at all. Don't take it!
He is not very accessible outside of class. He speaks in riddles and leaves arbitrary comments on essay drafts. His office hours are just as unhelpful and confusing as his comments. We worked on a "reformulation" for a month, and Google couldn't even tell me what that was.
Do not take this class nobody got above a C+ for their midterm. He doesn't know how to explain anything. If you miss one class you are kind of screwed. We don't have a lot of homework but I would rather have homework at this point. He also never answers your emails. Save yourself.
worked on one paper whole semester as final grade, any tutor, office hours or google could not help me get better than a C on this paper. Very hard to follow what he is talking about and understand his comments left on papers. Will never answer an email and hard to access outside of class.
The class is heavily focused on a single essay, which can be tricky to nail down. However, tools like ChatGPT and Unstuck study can help with study prep. Attendance is mandatory, but the professor's feedback is sometimes unclear. Overall, manage your time well and you can succeed.
would not recommend this professor, worked on one essay the whole semester based on a reading that made absolutely no sense. He gives you feedback after every draft but it does not make sense and he just repeats himself. In class he speaks in metaphors and no one knew what he was saying.
not accessible outside of class at ALL and gives complicated assignments that he only talks about during class; he won't post an explanation on ANYTHING! so basically, you have to wing every assignment and pray you don't screw it up just to get a bad grade.
This class is pretty much based off the syllabus and writing one or two essays. He is very unclear in class when it comes to explaining things and his feedback is very very poor. I have never been so confused in a class before in my life. If you ask J Dog a single question he will NOT give you an answer and will say " Just go to the syllabus..."
If you have the option to take this professor, DONT. Prof. Hayes does not teach and relies heavily on the syllabus which is written like it is from the 1800's. He is never on time, his vocabulary is extremely mature, and he does not bother to answer emails. He also does not put any grades in blackboard making your current grade inaccessible.
The only assignment graded in this class was a writing with four drafts from an article/essay that made NO sense whatsoever. He never explained it or his comments on our papers and was very confusing. Impossible to reach outside of class. Little work outside of class but not worth that benefit. Save yourself and pick another professor.
I don't even know how this guy has a degree. Reading Latin is easier than reading his syllabus, and whenever he explains something, it's 5 minutes of words, followed up with "that's a long way of saying" (another 3 minutes of talking). Do not take this professor.
This is the most confusing class I have ever taken. The class is graded off of one final project that you work on all year. His feedback never makes sense. The format of the final is confusing and makes no sense. He will not answer your emails, he will not meet with you, and he hates questions. DO NOT TAKE HIM!!!!!!!!!!!!!
The only good thing about this class was that attendance wasn't mandatory. The professor is a nice person, but awful at teaching. For an English class, we didn't write a single paper—most assignments felt like busywork. He rarely responds to emails, and overall, the class felt like a waste of time.
Hayes was a frustrating professor. He practically cancels class every Thursday, so it barely feels like a real English course. His lectures are confusing and full of contradictions—he thinks he's being clear, but it's mostly gibberish. He tells you your work is fine, then gives vague feedback that makes no sense. Grading is always last-minute.
Please do not take him. Can't tell you one thing I learned in this course. I was lost everyday. He is so unclear about what we are supposed to do and how to get a better grade on our only grade (a paper). You work all semester on this one paper. I don't understand how anyone can get a good grade in this course off of the way he "teaches".
Although Hayes does not give hw outside of the classroom, he does not give clear instructions on what to do with the assignment. I have been working on the same project for the whole semester, and it just feels like repetition. You can never get a grade lower than what you receive since he allows you to revise each step you submit.
no homework, but worked the whole semester on 1 assignment. Assignment makes no sense, be prepared to read the same story 100 times and pick out every mistake. Hayes is chill, but I think he should be a high school teacher not a professor.
Although no homework is given outside of class, he is unclear with expectations of assignments. We have been working on the same paper all semester and I still have no clue what the point of it is. Get ready to reread the same story countless times. Just don't take him.
Cool guy but not a great teacher. We spent the whole semester working on one project which was pretty confusing a lot of the time. Though it was confusing and and felt like pulling teeth at times, the class still felt pretty free because there was no homework, class was optional half of the time, and he gave so much time to work on the project.
Do not take him. Work on the same paper all semester all to not get a good grade on it. Didn't know my grade until the final grade was out because he doesn't put grades in. no assignments make sense. save yourself don't take him.
