The best professor of biology. Very nice, cool and always willing to help. The class is hard, but he makes it simple and clear to understand.

Wonderful, helpful,brilliant!!! You must study!!! but I really didn't need the book except for reference when something didn't click.. I would love to take him again, highly recommended

I AM TAKING AP1 and he is so helpful gives quizzes to help with grades and in lab he teaches for the first half and second half he lets you study and play with the parts he is awesome I wish he taught AP2 and Micro!!! Love love him!

Professor Bichler is a wonderful teacher. He make the subject interesting and I really enjoyed his teaching style. I will be taking other science classes and I'm going to try my best to make sure I have him as my teacher. He's willing to explain things and take time to help...He's GREAT !!!

Took him for A&P 1. He is a GREAT teacher and very enthusiastic. You must study though and you will miss a good bit if you miss class. Study study study, as long as you do an A or B is easily attainable!

Had him over the summer and as long as you study you will do great. Best bio teacher at hacc! The information is difficult but he really goes out of his way to make it understandable and makes up funny ways to remember things.

His lectures are organized very well! You can dl and print the powerpoints that go with his lectures before class, and then take notes right on them. He only tests what was covered in class, but tests are difficult. You have to review every day, but his organization makes that easier. Also, he's really funny.

He is probably the best professor I've ever had. His exams & quizzes are straight from the notes he gives in class. He is funny, interesting and extremely intelligent. I just wish he taught A & P II.

Very organized. Extremely clear about what will be on his tests. However if you don't know the material well you won't do well on his tests. His tests are hard unless you really study, which is easy to do with all of the resources he provides.Great enthusiasm and funny.

The material is extremely hard, but its not his fault. Hes pretty fair and straight forward.

Best professor at HACC. very organized, entertaining and helpful. His tests are straightforward. Pre-recorded lectures that you can listen to anytime, pp presentations and many other resources he gives are excellent. I wish he would teach A/P II! Oh, and he updates the grades section so you can keep track of your grade throughout the semester. :)

Great Prof. He gives you everything you need to pass this class. There is alot of work but it helps you learn the topics better. He has many quizzes and little tests here and there that help you get a good grade. I would love it if he was teaching AP 2 also.

Prof Bichler made class very fun and entertaining. He taught what you needed to know. A little fast paced but he gave lots of quizzes and plenty of opportunity for earning points. Went into the final with a B, no chance at an A, but bonus points added, I got an A!!!

Best A&P I teacher at HACC. He is more than willing to go above and beyond to help you out if you ask. Tests are hard, but if you do the HW assignments and quizzes, it will help boost your grade. Only thing bad I can say is he doesn't have an A&P II class.

This is a great Professor to take this class with. He gives a lot of useful resources and makes the learning easy. This is a hard class but I would recommend him. study hard and ask questions.

Amazing prof! Gives power point presentations and outlines to study. Text hardly used but online access to Wiley Plus is required. He loves the subject he teaches and it shows. Uses humor and shares great stories. I'd take him for every Bio if he taught them!

Great professor! He has a high interest in the subject material and is super helpful. If you are willing to work hard, you will do well. This is not an easy class, but Professor Bichler wants his students to succeed.

Excellent professor all around!! Very engaging, interesting & made topics fun. Divides points over several items instead of just 3 exams like most prof's. Very helpful & tests are straight forward, as he tells you exactly what he wants you to know. As others say.. I wish he taught other Bio's!! One of the best prof's I've ever taken!!

Professor Bichler is great. He tests directly from the study guide he provides. If you go to class, take notes on the study guide, you will do great. I did the 8 week fast paced summer course and got an A. I was intimidated at first, but he makes the course fun and interesting. You DO HAVE TO study-cant sit back and just get an A.

Great professor, very helpful, points spread out over various assignments. Many videos and animations, along with plenty of slides to print if you like. No tricks on test, straight forward, with a sense of humor. Did in summer, and got an A+. Study everywhere you go. He loves the subject, so that helps a lot. Take him.

Amazing teacher for lecture and lab! First year of college and being nervous is a terrible mix, but Justin will make you feel right at home and never overwhelmed. Very laid back, helpful, funny and friendly. Very thorough presentations/notes and fairly easy quizzes and tests. Highly recommended!

Prof Bichler LOVES this material, and it definitely shows. I took the blended course(part online, plus a weekly on campus lab) and it was a great way to take the class. He's clear, gives study guides, and hell help in any way he can,always posts grades immediately(instead of taking 1-2 weeks like some others) Really wish he taught other classes!

Prof Bichler is awesome. He has a great knowledge of what he is teaching. The class is not an easy 1 but he makes it possible. He gives study guide to study from. He gives extra points for that guide and at the end of every chapt u take a quiz online again extra points. I took him for lab and he was awesome there 2. U also got extra points.

Best professor at HACC. He is super clear about what you need to know and he explains complex things in a great way. Very organized and very nice. He will keep your attention during lecture. Took it over the summer. You will have to study but he will make it as easy as it's going to get. Plus he is pretty hot and super nice.

I thought his A&P I class was pretty hard. The homework was tough and I felt like there was a lot. There were 3 lab tests and 3 tests. Overall he seemed like a good guy. The class was difficult especially in comparison to my A&P II class.

He is the best professor I have ever had. Passionate about the subject, which makes the lessons interesting and engaging. He is very clear and concise on what to study. Not an easy A, you will have to study, but the resources he provides are SO helpful! I never had to open a textbook. He's super friendly and clearly cares about his students. :)

Great professor. Had him for lab and he was very helpful. No midterm or final. I took his blended course, which the lecture was difficult because I am not good at teaching myself content. If he taught lecture when I took this class, I would have definitely taken him. His lecture tests were hard, in my opinion, but you need to know your material.

Excellent professor. There is a lot of material but he is very clear about what to expect on a test. You will need to study, the pace is pretty quick. Wish he taught Bio 122!!! Would definitely recommend.

Best professor ever! Passionate about the subject and clearly cares about his students. Its evident that he spends a LOT of time preparing studying aids for his students to use. He engages the whole class and makes the subject interesting, making students WANT to learn and study.

He is very clear on what he wants you to know. He gives small jokes or gestures to remember the material. Definately recommend!

Professor Bichler was incredibly helpful in many ways. He is always willing to thoroughly explain any questions that you may have with course content and was also willing to help me with scheduling conflicts that caused me to almost be dropped from his class. He is by far the best professor that I have ever had at HACC.

Wished he taught the lecture part too but he doesn't. Labs were pretty easy. Study straight from Powerpoint because he tests right from that. He gives out study guides which provide other parts of the test. If you study hard you will definitely pass this class with an A. I will definitely miss him.

This is an excellent professor! You have to work but if you do you will get a A and really understand the material when you're finished. He is clear on what you need to do to get a good grade. He has a lot of resources available to help you learn the material,use them! This is a lot of material, so put a little time in at least 5 days a week.

He's honestly the best. Took him for A&P1 at HACC instead of my university over the summer. He WANTS you to do well, he'll try his hardest to make it work for everyone. He's quirky but he's clear. He's passionate about what he does and it shows. I would take him again, hopefully for A&P2 if he teaches it.

Great teacher. Has for class and lab. Always willing to help you and answer you questions. You can tell he enjoys his job. All information for tests comes from lectures and study guide. Extra credit just for being in class. I enjoyed him so much I am taking him again for BIO122. Absolutely recommend him.

Professor Bichler is hands down the best professor I have ever had. He is extremely helpful and provides the class with resources to help do well in his class. He recommends using a white board as a study method. I strongly recommend using this strategy. It has helped me to do well on the exams! Wish I could take him for Micro!

Great proffessor. Make sure you go to every lecture and take notes. His grading is clear and he let you know exactly what he wants you to learn in lecture. He loves what he does you can tell. Email you back quickly if you have questions. You need to go over your notes after every lecture and make flash cards, dont wait last minute.

Professor Bichler is awesome! He's so passionate about biology so it's never boring to listen to him. His tests can be pretty tough but you get what you put into it. He makes a study guide for the whole class & uses attendance to dole out extra credit.

Professor Bichler is a great professor for AP II Lecture! He is beyond hilarious which makes the class slightly less stressful. He is very passionate about his job, he is also always willing to help you during his office hours. This class is difficult no matter who you take, but in my opinion Professor Bichler is the best option.

Prof. Bichler is a great instructor. I am taking him again for AP 2. He is always willing to go above and beyond to help students, whether is personal or for the class. I would HIGHLY recommend his class. Tests aren't easy. You need to put the time into the class but you will learn a lot. Lab quiz every class which helps your grade.

Justin Bichler is a fantastic teacher. He cares about his students and wants you to succeed. My advice would be to constantly read and re-read all of the material. Study well and learn. Try to succeed and with Bichler, you will. *Crash course on Youtube has amazing material which basically goes over everything Bichler does

Prof. Bichler was great. I took him because of his high and favorable reviews and they did not disappoint. He is very organized and has so many materials to help you through the class (including recordings of every lecture as he teaches this as a blended class as well). Your grade is quizzes, which are at home, on D2L and open note, and tests.

Awesome instructor! His grading scale is clear. No extra credit but all of his work is clearly in the outline. If you show up to class and use your book you will understand the material as all of his lectures are online. I thought bio was going to be horrendous, he made it enjoyable. I got a B and I'm not great at math or science.

Bichler is an amazing professor. He does not just test you on vocabulary like some professors, he makes you work for it. Critical thinking is required on all 4 of his exams. If you need any extra help outside of class, he is patient and willing to help!He is very passionate about anatomy and goes the extra mile on giving you resources!

Mr. Bichler is an amazing professor. He's the kind of professor that gets excited about things. He made me go, "Mitochondria? I thought it was boring but he seems excited, so I'll give it a chance." He gives you the outline of the notes formatted to his power point, his tests are based on them. Study it hard. Don't bother buying the textbook.

I took him for A&P 1 and 2. He would meet me with me before every exam and test my knowledge for at least two hours and he keeps class interesting. This is a class you must study for in order to pass. He wants you to know the material inside and out! Test are hard but he's a good teacher. I was one point away from receiving an A in his class.

I wasn't the biggest fan of his teaching However he gives a lot of information to study for his exams. There is no excuse not to get a good grade on his exams. He has audio to listen to and tons of notes in D2L go through. It was a summer blended course and I did well. I would recommend him to others. He does care and will help the best he can.

Loved this prof so much I took him for Bio121 and 122. He knows his stuff and loves it. Bichler stays on top of current research and consistently shares it with his classes. Great sense of humor, too. Check out the online lectures/recordings, pay attention in lab, study hard and you'll be fine.

The BEST! I wish I had taken for AP1. He is a true science geek without the geek. He has a love for biology and makes it interesting. I really enjoyed his labs. He did multiple dissections. Homework and lab work was pretty straight forward. He didn't collect it so it was really what you wanted to put in to it. Group quizzes w/ notes easy.

Professor Bichler was AWESOME! I would definitely take his BIO122 blended class again. He really tries to help his students if they need help. I absolutely loved his class! He is there to help his students and his lectures are amazing!

Took A&P 121 blended last semester, great lectures, great notes. Tests were tough, a lot of critical thinking. Study study study. Quizlet helps a lot as well!

He was one of my favorite professors ever because he is such an amazing professor. A&P is a very rich class with a lot of material, so you have to put in the work & take responsibility for studying because at the end of the day, you are responsible for your grades & how well you do on tests. Honestly though, I wish I had more professors like him.

Professor Bichler is hands down one of my favorite professors. I've taken him for both A&P 121 and 122. He knows his stuff and gives you a study guide which you will use to take notes. His tests are hard, but fair. Everything you need to know for the exam will be on the study guide as long as you take good notes.

Professor Bichler is great! I had him for A&P 1 and A&P 2. He knew what he was talking about and helped us answer questions we had when in need. I took his blended course in the Spring and Summer. Lectures for a little, but then gives you worksheets and you work on those the remaining of class. Great professor!

He is funny, not boring, pretty active and explained very well. I would definetely take his class again.

Professor Bichler is a great professor. His tests were pretty easy and I didn't study much. He also gives you an outline for each chapter. Pretty funny and very passionate about bio. For my class we were only graded on three tests, some small writing assignments, lab work and then an essay with a presentation so your grade can slip easily.

Professor Bichler is very motivated with biology. His classes were exciting and fun. You have to attend and pay attention in order to succeed. He will work with anyone and went out of his way to assist anyone who needed it. His lecture notes and assignments are key to passing his course. Oh yes - HISTOLOGY of organs and cells!!

He is an amazing teacher who loves biology. He offers several opportunities for grades, including a very short research paper/presentation. He uses Connect for all his HW assig., which you can get 100%, as they are self-correcting. Fair warning, he does test hard. His tests are more about you understanding material rather than memorizing facts.

He is a succesful teacher and he is expecting same thing from you too. It was hard, it was so hard especially having second language. My prosess was so slow and I am having depression because of covid but he gave me extra time to complete all tasks. I add him and he's loved ones to my prayers.

I loved his A+P I class so much Im taking his A+P II as well! He is a very passionate in his teaching, bring the contents to life! He makes everything so easy to understand and gives an awesome study guide that give you basically all the exam answers (open note). The Connect McGraw Hill program is also very easy to navigate and helpful.

Presents the information in a variety of ways for every learning type. You can tell he is very passionate about physiology which makes listening to lectures so easy and entertaining. Tests can be difficult because it's not about memorizing the content but using it to come to some type of conclusion. Easy to communicate with if you have questions.

Professor Bichler is one of the best. He takes the complex and daunting system functions, breaks them down, and presents them in an easily understandable and enjoyable way. For the others who have said he is terrible and caution taking him, IGNORE THEM. You must put the effort in to learning the material but if you do you will have no trouble.

Tests are harder than what he teaches but hes easy going and offers lots of help.

THE BEST! I would totally recommend taking his class. His lectures are bit heavy, but he teaches clearly. You can always reach to him with any questions and he answers emails quickly. Gives homework every week but are very easy. The material on the quizzes are bit heavy but if you take time to study, I guarantee you will have an A.

Single handedly one of the best professors I ever had. He makes everything easy to learn, tests are open note & you have 2 chances to take them & he averages grades together, exams you take twice, once alone & again w a partner & he averages them. I respect Prof. B. & regret not taking A&P2 with him.

( makes his own lectures, and his own " text book" , his own quizlet's , and he has his own website we use for his class that has ALL A&P CONCEPTS - which is SUPER beneficial for remediation on any A&P concepts ) his lectures are EASY to digest. And if you ever need help, manz is willing to help. I wish I took him sooner! :D

His website is so good that you don't need the book. Just review the slides, 5 min podcasts, and videos he has imbedded in the slides. Roughly half of grade is midterm/Final. Each have about 50 T/F and multi choice/10 short written response questions. Study, do the lab worksheets, and the essay questions will be easy. HW is EZ. Best A&P professor.

Bichler really wants you to not only learn but understand the material. Lab lectures pay attention as he will give hints to what will be on tests. Take your notes, participate, and do your best to make it fun to learn about A&P. There is a lot of material but it wasn't overwhelming as everything was organized.
