Mr. Norton's class requires research and practice (ie not a shoo-in A), but it is relatively easy. If you do the work & ask questions, you'll be fine. Most people did not ask questions when they were unclear on assignments but would ask each other before or after, class & complain how his assignments didn't make sense. If you asked him for help he would usually clear it up. Slow to grade. Uses Calendar for assignments so check often.

Justin Norton was the worst professor Ive had in my college experience. He claims to be a communications major yet does not explain anything, answer questions, or communicate anything. Norton is a good overall teacher, although some assignments are not clear in format. If you show up and participate, I feel like hes more lenient towards those people. He does tend to run off topic alot while lecturing, and when people bombard him with questions a lot of time is wasted. Hes pretty understanding and easy to talk to.

Assignments had nitpicky criteria, like having to highlight your thesis or vocab use in responses. I guess he'd rather check a box than critically read responses. One assignment was to read some inane essay he had written and then give 3 reasons supporting it. Probably an easy A if you're ok with turning your brain off but not worth the unit fees.
