Public speaking class. He is seriously the best teacher to teach this class. Very enthusiastic, encouraging, and helpful. Like a big brother to everyone. Tell everyone to take him.

This is a fantastic class! Justin is an amazing teacher who is informative in a fun way. I learned so much in his class, while still having fun. If I had the opportunity I would take the class again.

REALLY easy professor. he kind of talks alot..explains something about a millin times but his class is fun. i learned a lot and my speech skills have really improved. just dont ask him to repeat something cuz he will just go on and on and on. but awesome and caring guy.Loved Him!!!

Like everyone says he is a really good teacher. Hes seems to be very caring and is approachable. You learn and speeches get easier to do.

What a great guy. You can totally screw up your speech and he'll make you feel so much better about it. You get to know pretty much everyone in the class and that actually makes giving speeches easier. He makes you actually want to come to his class. I have it at 8am and I don't mind it at all.

What a handsome and chairasmatic professor. Very helpful and clear. Will enjoy coming to class. Dresses very sharp. Come to class because he does take attendance and sometimes gives extra credit.

Justin is such a great teacher! He is really helpful and is more like a friend then anything. As long as you try your best and show that you've learned something, you'll definitely do well. Highly reccomend! Take him if you get the chance, you won't regret it!

Justin has a heart bigger than life itself. We all look bad next to him but thankfully we also acquire some of his amazing characteristics during class. He is on my "Greatest people i know" list.

The semester isn't over yet, but I have to review this dude. By far, one of the best classes I have had in my college career. In terms of work, 4 small papers, 1 field experience paper, and 2 tests. Easy grader. But this class will change your life! He's so kind and never judgmental. He will open your eyes to so many things. Wish I could take again

Professor Weiss was an awesome teacher. He made it clear from the beginning of the semester what he expected from the class and was more than willing to help anyone with any difficulties they might be having. I would highly recommend taking a class with him especially if you are a coms major.

Really nice guy, and a really good class. Definitely walked out a lot more open minded than I was to begin with. He's not the most organized, though. He's also a really slow grader. That doesn't bother me, but it does for some, so thought I would mention it. All in all, I would take again. Really easy class; not many assignments. Just participate.

Honestly he is the best! Made 9:30 a.m classes fly by, he really cares about everyone and the subject. Take him!

Kept the class interested in the material. Required you read, but reading made discussion a lot more fun. Assignments were well connected to the content. Really wants his students to succeed.

Honestly best class I have taken at the University. Most of the time you have amazing discussions that inspire you to be a better communicator and less judgmental and accepting of different cultures. The things I learned in the class I will definitely be using for the rest of my life.

Weiss is one of the best Professors at CSUN, his class is very interesting, he grades fairly, and loves teaching the subject. There is one solo paper, one field search paper, a group project, lots of reading, and a poster board assignment.

Best professor I've ever had. Once barged into a class (I wasn't taking with him) to cheer me on during a speech.

My favorite class this semester. Lectures are great and the whole class participates in the lectures. We had students from all parts of the world and it was interesting to hear their perspectives . No extra credit but an A is very possible. I got B's on the exams and an A - in the class. The essays are graded easily.

Professor Weiss is a WONDERFUL professor who really cares about his students. He is very helpful. His test aren't too hard and he tells you what to study. He has a great sense of humor and he's pretty laid back. He not only lets you speaks your mind, but he encourages it. There's LOTS of participation in his class. Loved it. Take him if you can.

Good guy, class is out of 100 points and you need to follow the syllabus to pass. Easy to talk to and the tests are a little difficult, just prepare for those.

OKAY BEST PROFESSOR EVER. He is very caring and loving. Class is quite simple, just pay attention to lectures and do assignments and you should pass. On the first day I thought it was going to be like the kind of class I hate because it had two essays and a group project, but the class is actually a lot more interesting then I expected. In my opinion, his grading is extremely lenient, and the test was very easy. Nice teacher and interesting class.

You can see Professor Weiss truly cares about his students and respects everyones opinion. He is very open and willing to hear other peoples views. He actually incoucrages you to speak your mind and ask questions. There was one group project, two essays, a poster protect, and mid term & final. Show up and pay attention and youre good.

I'd recommend Dr. Weiss to anyone; 2 online test, 1 group presentation, 1 5-7 page paper. Although the class is an easy A, once you get to know him, you'll truly understand how outstanding of a professor he is and why all of his reviews are positive ones. Dr. Weiss is the coolest instructor I have ever taken at CSUN. Despite joining his class late in the semester, I managed to pass Intercultural Communication with flying colors. He graded us on Participation/Exercises, a Cultural Poster, three discussion questions, an Intercultural Research Paper, and two exams.

He cares about his students SO much. All this class had was 2 exams (insanely easy), 3 discussion posts, an essay, and a project that just shows pictures of our culture. I highly recommend taking this class. It's so easy and straightforward. He also cares about students a lot and the discussions he has us do are so simple yet intriguing

Profesor Weiss designs this class so that his students have an understanding, learn, and pass the class. He was passionate in the area of intercultural communications and it showed. I tried to register for his Comm and Gender course and his class was full on day 2 of my resgistration date...that's how good of a preofessor he is. Highly reommend!

Out of all my professors during Spring '24, Prof. Justin is the best. He cares for his students and his lectures were amazing. It wasn't boring and easy to understand. His exams were easy as well, as he gives everything in his video and in-person lectures. It's up to you if you're gonna listen to it or not. Overall, a great professor!

Despite having an online environment, he managed to provide a safe space for us. He's very caring and sets you up for success on day 1. He loves discussion and is very respectful to differing perspectives. I've learn a lot of insightful topics that I find useful in real life communication. It was an honor to be a student of his!
