Read the whole textbook, b/c anything in it is fair game for the final. MC quiz and a discussion post for each chapter; instead of a midterm we had to pick 5 assignments out of 10 (they were easy; 1.5-2 pages). The final was 100 MC. It wasn't bad at all. He didn't test on tiny details about specific research, but you need to know overall findings.

Justin Wong was one of my favourite professors! He explains everything really clearly, and makes sure that everyone understands what they're learning. He can be really funny at times, and all of his lectures are very entertaining. I took him in my first year, and I remember most of his lectures to this day.

Great prof! Notes are straight forward, easy enough to understand if read alone, however his lectures are relatable and will simplify things even more. If you pay attention in class and put in some work you can easily excel in this class. If you want to do well on his written response, use his midterm review/practices.

Justin was a great teacher. If you wanted the easy marks and a good final grade, all you had to do was read the chapters given, be there for the lectures and take use of his study guides he puts on blackboard. To those who complained about the short answer sections, he copy and pasted the exact questions he wrote in the study guides. Pretty easy.

Loved this Prof! Gave it a 4 rating on difficulty only because he expects you to finish his long tests in a short amount of time. LOTS of short answer but he literally tells you what those questions will be. Gives LOTS of hints in lectures. Make sure you go to class, right a lot of notes and you'll do great!

Justin is a super nice prof and he provides lots of real life examples in his lectures. Tests: MC is from the textbooks test bank so you need to read EVERYTHING (a waste of students precious time in my opinion), short answer is straight from his lectures. Tests are too long for the time given, BUT are not cumulative, not even the final.

I had this prof for Tuesdays 2-5 pm His exams in my opinion were quite difficult as it was both MC and WR which I suck at WR alot but his rating was high. His lectures are really enthusiastic and well-enjoyed. He has 2 Midterms so little material for grading purposes. He always suggests to read the textbook before exams. So do that. Non-cumu final

When it comes to tests he is straight up anal about how specific he wants you to write on the short answer. Understanding the concepts won't give you a fair grade, you literally need to know every single word from the textbook and his slides. I read all the assigned pages, memorized to the core. He can't be pleased. this class isnt hard,he makes it

Has great lectures, told us exactly what would be on the test and was very specific about what question's he would include so participation was not mandatory but it is strongly recommended. His lectures are lively and entertaining. I had him for three hour and it was tiring but not boring. Grades rely only on midterms and final.

I didn't mind the 3 hour lectures. They're long but he tries to make it interesting. Really like that he provides his notes on blackboard and he's generous in telling you many of the questions on the exam beforehand. I found the final harder than the midterms and it included more text questions. Do yourself a favor and actually read the textbook.

Marks come only from midterms and final but they aren't cumulative so if you are good at taking tests, I would recommend. You do have to read the textbook and basically memorize all of his slides, but I think his exams are reasonable if you put in the effort. Don't have to attend class, but if you do go, he tells you short answer exam questions!

Id sooner drop out of uni than take another class with him. His tests are designed to trick you, not measure your intelligence or memory, and are rife with spelling errors so bad that you can misunderstand and fail the question. Doesnt give feedback on anything. I had a 3.7 going in and got my only D in this class, and not for lack of effort.

Interesting. One of my favorite profs so far. To do well, have the notes printed out ahead of time and write down what he says and what you should star (will show up on the exam). You'll go up a letter grade too if you read the textbook, as some questions aren't in his notes (but he warns you about this in the beginning.) Exams were non-cumulative.

Very good professor, had no problems with him whatsoever. He specifically indicated we would have a short-answer midterm and a multiple choice. Attend his class to know pretty much exactly what'll be on the short-answer. I basically just read his lecture slides online perfectly and got a strong mark. His exams are balanced and there's nothing odd.

Super awesome guy. But if you don't answer his exams word for word (and I mean word for word by his slides) you will get a zero on all of the written responses.
