It all came down to the exams and trust me they are not easy! The professor I'd say is good at his job but if you want to pass READ the chapters before class AND STUDY A Lot!! This was the hardest class I've taken out of my whole 3 college years but the class is doable if you put the effort.
He is a nice man and he posts his power points, but those will not get you through the tests. What is really bad is he miscalculates grades (as in doesn't add scores correctly)and rarely will respond to an email. No extra credit available. If you care about your GPA, I would avoid him.
Great professor, really nice and doesn't make you feel stupid if you are confused on a certain topic. This class is not an easy one though. Make sure to read the book that goes with the class because the power points alone will not help you. Overall, a good experience!
Really cool guy, but his class is tough. Quizzes are difficult and the questions don't seem to line up with lecture notes. Highly recommend reading the textbook; just attending lectures isn't enough. There was only one extra credit opportunity all semester (worth 5 points).
Professor Wright is an extremely rad teacher. He is not an easy one though. His lectures cover the general terms and information but you HAVE to read the textbook in order to understand his tests. He gives little 10 question quizzes after a few chapters. He is a funny guy and I would recommend you take him but be ready to study the textbook!
Great professor. Keeps things interesting. Wants students to pass. 3 exams: not cumulative, focuses on ideas not defs. Usually has a reading quiz every week: specific studies in the book. Not much homework, small assignments in class. Read and the class is easy and entertaining. Summary: listen to some lectures, watch movies, and play with bugs
I am a 39 year old student who is going back to school to get my degree. Of all the teachers that I had in my past college experiences, Mr. Wright was one of the nicest, most professional, inspirational, and simply just a great college professor! He loves what he teaches and it shows in his class. He is one of the best!
The tests get harder as the semester goes on and we didn't have many quizzes until the last few weeks of the semester. The lab tests are pretty tough and detailed. Get ready to memorize alot towards middle to end of the semester because the chapters are packed with info for the tests. He is a nice guy and tries to make the class more interesting.
He is an awsome professor. He answers all questions and is easy to understand. Just study off the book and you will be fine. I got an A in the class. His labs and quizzes are easy if you studied. It's not an easy A but if you put in some time you will do great. He is also a really nice and cool guy.
He lectures every class but makes it interesting! He has a good sense of humor which makes the class easier to attend. There is a lab almost every class so you must be there... Nothing too hard though. Doesn't put grades in a lot and only a few things to get grades on. If you are wondering though, he is SUPER CUTE!!!!
The class will only be difficult if you make it that way. Of course there is always work but you'd be doing yourself a solid if you study and read the book.
Professor Wright was the easiest professor ever! He is super nice and chill. 3 Exams, all of them are easy! Just do your experiments and homework and you'll pass the class. Have to look at and/or deal with bugs, so if you don't like that stuff you might not like this class. He taught us how to feed butterflies. A slow grader, but very fun class.
Didn't like it. Quizzes were random and difficult, finals was defining every single indented word in the lab book and he will most likely make it tricky. He is nice and helpful though and thats the only saving grace. For a one unit class, I had to put quite a bit of effort into this. Expecting a C.
He knows what he's talking about, but he is NOT a good teacher. For the lab test, he didn't tell us what to study until the DAY OF THE TEST. And he didn't post the lecture test study guide until a COUPLE OF DAYS before the test. Most of the questions are on things he DISCUSSES during lecture that ARE NOT in the powerpoint, but he talks too fast.
never take bio lab with him. IT WAS HORRIBLE
I'll list the pros and cons cons: -gives pop quizzes -tests have uncovered material -easily agitated -doesn't post some labs/powerpoints -gives vague instructions -assignments are weighted unjustly -requires use of text, though he doesn't have a schedule of assigned readings. its a lot of text... pros: he's hot. Don't take this class.
dont take bio with him. hes the worst professor ever!
OK teacher. PROS: Laidback, explains PowerPoint (info from textbook) in lectures, fair grader on open responses (tests and discussion boards). CONS: Very inconsistent with assigning quizzes. Points, chapters for tests, etc., dont match syllabus at end of semester. Study guides are too general and unhelpful. Takes a LONG time to grade.
he was the worst professor, DONT take any class with doesn't follow syllabus no extra credit he's awful
he knows what he's talking about but he is the worst teacher DONT ever take any classes with him just awful
worst teacher can say much more
not caring, tough grader, worst teacher....
i have nothing good to say about this teacher its better to say nothing...
Just a BIG no to this teacher
he should not be teaching this class whatsoever no one likes him
hes not a good teacher he should not be at IVC
well all what you need is looking at the rating
A Absolute worst professor I have experienced at IVC.
worst professor ever he just thinks hes hot but hes not. hes just the worst professor ever
awful nothing else
He doesn't stick to his syllabus. Very difficult exams and heavy work load. I don't recommend him at all because he's not trying to help his students at all
not good overall
i believe this professor and this class was one of the most amazing classes i ever had. he is very inspirational about biology and makes you to increase your knowledge. but this class is hard you have to be ready for really study for this materials. he is not awful like other people said, this class needs work. ofcourse it is awful for lazy people
He is very inspiring and he teaches material in way that stick to your mind even after the course. Very helpful and caring about his students and also very funny. The tests are hard but if you listen to the lecture and read his power points very carefully you would be fine. there are some pop quizzes so always study for class. He is good and kind.
Prof. Wright is enthusiastic, highly knowledgeable and cares about his students. If you like sustainability, ecology and related topics I would recommend ENV1. It's fun, interesting and much easier than the Bio classes he teaches. Also, visit him in office hours. He is easy to talk to and will help you with anything you don't understand.
OMG, no idea why people are giving him such low reviews. Love this guy, love his class. He can be kind of nerdy but he shows a lot of passion for the material he teaches. I've really come to learn and understand a lot about the world through his class. Definitely something that I will take with me forever.
hard class- the quizzes and exams are hard, no extra credit, no assignment credits, he's a slow grader, his class is boring and monotone, he basically just reads from powerpoint, I wish there was another professor for ENV1. Do not take him, take it somewhere else.
terrible teacher, gotten all A's in college until i took his class.
He's not a good teacher. Exams and Quizzes are really hard, no extra credit or credits for homework. There's no textbook to read and the slides do not cover the material for his exam. Had to take the class because he is the only teacher at IVC, I blame IVC for that.
Lecture notes are not helpful, study guide does not properly prepare you for the exam and the exam has questions that are never seen in the book or notes, or have strange wording. Half of what is on the study guide is irrelevant and not on the exam. Never on schedule with what chapters we are covering based on the syllabus.
Oh Lord. Quizzes are hard because he makes you take them before he goes over the chapter. Exams are hard too, there is no good textbook and his files do not have all the information you need. He only goes trough 4 slides in an hour and nobody pays attention to his monotone voice. I should have dropped out.
I'm not sure why I hated this class, I think the vibes were just weird. I don't really understand what he teaches because he basically reads from the power point slides. He a nice person, but he is not a good teacher. Not happy with him
Lectures do not help with the exam at all. Doesn't entirely teach the class curriculum moreso chat about anything/everything related to environmental science. Thus, the exams are nearly impossible to study for since the lectures are so inconsistent with the material. Would not recommend nor take his class again.
One of the best Bio teachers I've ever had. The passion he has for what he teaches makes him an excellent professor. His tests can be tough, but if you record his lectures and read the textbook and take notes, you should be fine; just don't fall behind on the lab drawings! Also don't be shy to ask him about his amazing bug collection!
Not sure how he is in Bio, but ENV1 sucks with him. His voice is very monotone and he reads from Powerpoints. Study guides are confusing and he loves tricky questions. I don't like tricky questions, they are hard to understand and do not help at all. Would not recommend him, if possible take with someone else.
Worst professor I ever had. Cant explain, wont ask whats on the study guide, loves tricky questions on the hardest quizzes I have ever seen! He is lazy too. Takes forever to grade, extra credit is cleaning up the beach for 3 hours for only 5 points. Do not take him.
wright was the only teacher that was available for env 1 and he is the most atrocious professional in all of my academic career. I had straight A's for three semesters until I got my first C from this class. This is an introductory course btw.
I think the problem is that he only pays attention to the students who do well, and ignores the fact that most of the students do not well. He is really monotone, does not reply to e-mails and always makes mistakes on quizzes. He is a nice guy but just not good in teaching. I would recommend someone else.
he's a nice, hot, bug-lovin' guy. his teaching skills are debatable. his exams are more or less a test of how well you can memorize definitions and examples in the book/lecture. you HAVE to read the book since his lectures dont cover all topics. MCQ is curved a little but not FRQ. he told us about what the quizzes will be on beforehand. boring labs
you're better off teaching yourself and not attending the lectures. Nothing on the lectures are on the exams and study guides barely help. Luckily, I've found better bio professors who actually teach
I wish I did more research before taking this class. Your whole grade is basically based on tests that are really hard and pretty specific. For the tests: I got two A's one B and one C, and basically had no chance of getting an A.
Prof. Wright is a great Professor but he expects you to do some work as well. If you ever need help he is easy to get a hold of in his office pretty regularly and always willing to further explain anything. Passionate for sure but sometime you get a question on an exam and you're thinking,"Did we cover this?". Still a great teacher.
Lectures do not help with the exam at all nor do the study guides work. He only makes them because its expected of him. If you hope to pass a test make sure to read the book and go over the notes and you might get a c. Although he has his bad points if you talk to him about what to study and go to his office hours he can be really helpful
For his Bio1L lab you can totally ignore any low scores. He's 100% fine for that lab. I talked with everybody in that lab, and no one had even a single complaint about him. He knows the material, he works with people who had issues, he was not a tough grader at all. You maybe need to spend 1 hour a week on writing/studying & you should be fine.
Easily one of the best Science professors Ive ever had. Im not very good at biology, but this guy really encourages and teaches in ways that help you work hard for your grade, he mainly grades with just exams so defiantly keep that in mind, but if you study with him after class youll be fine. Trust me when I say this guy is the WRIGHT choice!
Great teacher who's really passionate about the subject. There isn't really homework, but the labs are easy opportunities to buff up your grade. There are a handful of tests, but as long as you pay attention and do the labs, study guides, and read occasionally, they should be easy A's. It is Bio though, so if you have bad memory you might struggle.
One of the worst professors I've absolutely seen. He's extremely lazy at grading, creates lab quizzes that aren't thoroughly covered in labs, and his tests are what makes up the grades- they're terribly hard and his lectures don't accomplish anything. The book is your savior, attend only the first few lectures to not get dropped, good luck...
Yall definitely have to read each chapter thoroughly + notes & pay attention to all details especially when it comes to lab practicums. Tests are hard. To pass, yall must read the book, make sure you understand what the Prof is talking about b/c if not you are screwed. Ppl want to blame failure on Prof which I understand b/c I do that. & He's hot.
I was so surprised to see that this professor only has a 27% rating. The professor is understanding, interesting, and makes being at school enjoyable. He is probably one of the best teachers I have ever had. You can tell that he actually cares about the information he's teaching about. I cannot express how much I wish everyone took this course!!!
He is very enthusiastic about his class. His lectures are good and not boring. He assigns quizzes but they're easy and short. As long as you pay attention, you'll get a good grade. He explains well if you ask him a question. Great prof.
honestly, he knows his stuff and can be really nice but how he grades things sucks. it takes him eons to put anything in. His tests and quizzes suck, unless you're committed to memorizing the book then you will do bad on them. His lectures can be informative but he also goes on tangents, that are interesting, but don't really give you much.
So I took a class with this professor 2 years ago. I did okay in the class(I'm not the best in bio), but he's the most attractive professor I have ever seen. Just wanted to put that out there.
He is a very nice guy, lectures are good and chill, labs are super easy, exams ain't easy but if you read the textbook you will get an A. He is a good choice, just skip through the lectures, take notes of textbook and be able to apply your knowledge. 2 midterm, 1 final--> 30-40 multiple choice, 1-2 free response 16 labs each 3 points online quizes
You simply cannot get C or better if you don't memorize the entire textbook. Horrible when it comes to tests and quizzes because it is just so unnecessarily hard. I have been a straight A student for the past 3 semester but was not able to get an A in this class. He really needs to calm down and give students a better chance to succeed. Horrible.
I love this guy. Due to COVID19 our class is now online and I couldn't love this class any better. He is so flexible on due date, quizzes can be hard, labs are super easy, exams require thorough textbook reading and being able to connect all the materials, but it is doable. He is such a good guy and grades labs and free responses so easy! Def recom
Its funny how they replace him every semester after we have signed up for the good professor and coincidentally he is now the professor of the class we have signed up with a different professor. It is like IVC is forcing us to take him even tho we don't want to.
I enjoyed this class so much, he is a really good professor and is passionate about what he does and teaches. He wants you to learn the information and apply it. be prepared for the short answer questions, but he usually gives you HUGE hints as to what they will be on.
I really liked this class and the lectures he gives are really interesting but very fast and complicated, the tests are equally on the lecture and the book so its hard to know what will be on them, the study guides aren't very good but he is very nice and helpful if you take advantage of it. I wished there was EC though.
Did not like his class at all, super boring really hard to get an A, never replied to emails. He is nice but it is so hard to get an A unless you study hard for it and you are into science. Would not take him again.
Bio 1 with professor Wright was extremely challenging and could get very stressful when studying for exams. I studied a lot and barely got an A that was rounded up from an 89.7%. Exams and quizzes mostly make up grade, Study HARD from textbook even small details. If its part of an included chapter on an exam, STUDY IT. He's very knowledgeable.
Your grade is basically calculated based on your 3 tests. In the syllabus, he said that there's going to be 10 quizzes, but he ended up just giving 3 and basically ignored our easiest way to get any credit in his class. His lectures are boring and definitely not enough for the tests. You HAVE to memorize the whole book. I do not recommend it.
Not sure why his ratings are so low. He seems like a fine prof to me. Make sure you take good notes, listen to his lectures, and read the book! The quizzes are easy so far. I intend on majoring in Env Sci so take my review with a grain of salt, I know much of this content already. I will probably update this review after I take my first exam.
Taking environmental to satisfy credits. I am taking with a P/NP option and so far, he's a decent professor but do not take this class if you just need a good grade and credits. The exams are hard and he nit picks every little detail from the textbook. Additionally, even the quizzes are difficult with some confusing answers too. Overall, dont rec.
Took him over Summer of 2020 and he is so sassy when he is lecturing and always wants you camera to be on, like others schools offer harder classes than this but professors are not this annoying. He laughed at the average for the class that was around a 45 percent on the final which is soo bad he should get fired. Worst than a math. class with Mont
bad professor
DO NOT TAKE THIS CLASS WITH THIS PORF. He replies weeks after I email him, he doesn't explain what we have to study for tests. He just throws labs on us and we had to do them ourselves and if you ask him about the lab instructions video (since it is an online class) he would say "the instructions are clear". He is very careless, and unhelpful.
He was one of my favorite and most memorable profs. Hes passionate about what he teaches and his students. Very fun and spunky guy. He was also generous enough to write me a letter of rec for transfer. I may have had a small crush on him so may be biased...
Prof. Wright doesn't update his class and has taken a month break and he is taking a whole month to grade the unit 2 exam.... The end of the semester is almost here, but his class is dead rn and there are no assignments. Idk what's going on in his class anymore.
If you aren't a good test taker don't bother taking this class because you won't pass. Professor Wright just gave us quizzes once every other week and there were 3-4 discussion posts. He left for a month without letting any of us know and then came back and dropped 5 chapters of material for the final. The class averaged a D on all 3 exams.
Worst professor at IVC. If you mess up on the first exam, it will probably be impossible for you to even dream of an A by the end of the course. Sucks at responding to emails. Went on vacation right before the first exam. Like for what? You couldn't wait another day?
Tough class. A LOT of reading. Tests are proctored and sometimes do not match the study guide. The tests were very hard for me and other students (according to the stats in the gradebook). Quizzes are short, open note. Only a few discussions. Grade heavily depends on test grades. Prof provided lectures that were long, but did the job.
I loved his class! I was struggling at the beginning --He gave me great tips on how to study and some hints on what to focus my energy on which is the only reason why I got an A. Beware though: You won't have any assignments for weeks and then BOOM! you've got quizzes, discussions, and the final exam all in one! Study on your own ahead of time!
He does not care for your labs. Be prepare for super detailed exams. I got 89% and he did not give me an "A". Lectures are not boring.
This teacher is uninspiring. He doesn't make new content for our lectures and I'm pretty sure just recycled all his old stuff from last semester. He makes things due on off times, for example there was an assignment due the first Monday of spring break (seriously?) and there was also a quiz on a holiday Monday at the beginning of the semester.
This class was one of the easiest class I've taken. Some weeks there are no homework, and the quizzes are open book with unlimited time. The exams were straight to the point, and he gives a study guide. As long as you keep up with the material and study, you'll pass.
Extremely text and lecture dependent. Tests and quizzes are much more complex than materials given to us. Lectures are slow, but does the job of further explaining the reading. The basics are given, but it's up to you to learn about the intricacies of each concept.
He was so bad, I wanted to give him a zero. But that's not possible. So, I give him a 1.
Honestly a super easy class and professor as long as you read the book. He posts both lectures and chapters to read, and honestly I just did the reading and aced everything. Super light work load, with a short quiz almost every week, three exams, and that's it. Definitely recommend taking for the GPA boost!
This class is very test heavy and was overall hard for an intro level. If you are not good at taking tests, DO NOT take this class. Lot of reading a week and a quiz weekly. Test are always after a break too. The professor goes on vacation mode mid-semester and do not reply to email at all. He grade so slow and does not communicate with the class.
He is a good professor, and biology in general is not an easy subject but he makes the information easy to understand, and he tells you where to go to for test and quizzes.
Lenient when grading labs and exam frqs. Lots of memorization and specifics in the material, but as long as you put in the time to study and read the book, you should be fine. The reading guides and potential exam frqs are super helpful and cover the majority of the exam material. He's a funny guy and you can tell he loves the subject he teaches.
Labs are graded for completion. All tests are super detailed. Lectures are boring and the content is hard to grasp. Does not offer extra credit.
I have always struggled in science classes, with this one being no exception. Make sure to keep up with studying in this class or you will STRUGGLE hardcore. My class had a 70% average after the second test. He gives extra assignments to raise ur grade. He's rly passionate about bio which helps but u are expected to know the basics already.
There are very few assignments, so grades are heavily based on exams. Although this class is very lecture heavy, Prof. Wright is clearly very passionate about this subject and always incorporates humor and fun into his lectures. He's an amazing person, but be prepared for heavy note-taking and reading.
Professor Wright seems to be a person who thinks online classes are irrelevant. He does not respond to students' emails and decides to turn on vacation mode as soon as the semester starts. He does not give announcements at every beginning of the week and expects us to know everything that is going on. He doesn't care for both students or class.
The professor often opens quizzes and discussions without any notification, making it very easy to miss assignments altogether. There's a lot of heavy reading and frequent quizzes that can make it difficult to learn at an intro level, so maybe only take this class if you're really interested in the topic.
It's fairly easy to pass the class as long as you do all the assignments and study for the tests. There are a lot of quizzes that are all based on the textbook, so you'll have to read the textbook chapters. His lectures aren't the most interesting but they aren't boring either. he does give a study guide before each test which is very helpful.
Prof. Wright's online course is difficult due to his out dated lectures that does not match up with the textbook. You will have to look up and verify answers on your own. This class is graded only on exams/quizzes. His exams/quiz have mistakes, double check on your answers or you will lose points for no reason. TRICK QUESTIONS/HARD TO FIND ANSWER.
I took him twice, and failed once. I wrote a rating before saying not to take his class, and that was before I saw my passing grade. If you think you can handle someone like him, then take him. But honestly I wouldn't. His class scores relatively low, so I'm not surprised I passed. Lots of reading and quizzes, minimal homework.
DON'T TAKE THIS CLASS!! Thinking about his class made me not wanna get up in the morning. Avoid this man at all costs.
I took Professor Wright last semester for Bio80, and although the class was difficult, Professor Wright is a fun and caring professor who had clear grading criteria. The exam questions were straight forward and taken out of the textbook, plus he provided possible free-response questions on the study guides. I definitely recommend to take him!
Only con is that you have to do alot of studying out side of class. The PowerPoints aren't much to go off from. The tests are a mix of multiple choice and free response, in which the free response is given to you a week ahead of time. If you want a professor whos passionate about BIO and actually cares for student success then I 100% recommend Mr.W
Absolutely amazing professor!! Hilarious and super caring.
He's a great professor and really cares about his students succeeding in his class. He gave my class an extension on a test and a retake opportunity if we weren't happy with our grade. His lectures are fun and interesting and he's a really nice dude overall. Just make sure you study for the tests because they're a large portion of your grade
Flat-out great professor, rly don't know why its so low. REALLY PASSIONATE about his subjects and funny so his lectures flew by. Labs were not difficult but expect a-lot of drawing. During summer we had 3 tests and 4 lab quizzes. Free response and study guide were posted weeks before the tests and he graded easily. Just study hard review well.
Possibly the best professor I've ever taken, and the most engaging lectures I've ever experienced. If you really pay attention during his lectures, which is not hard to do because of how interesting he is to listen to, you'll know exactly what to expect on the exam as it's all covered. Highly recommend this class.
He's really funny and his lectures are good. Yes he uses slides, but it's not like he's sitting there reading them word for word, he's lecturing on his own and will also let you know what information you need to know for the test. Because of this, it is CRUCIAL that you actually attend the class because reading the slides on your own will not do it
Passionate and inspiring, he's dedicated to biology. Ready to answer any questions, he offers helpful free-response samples for exams. Remember, the course is challenging; it's not easy. Attend office hours. Consider taking foundational bio classes if you lack a biology background, otherwise, it will be very tough. Monthly short hw quizes, no hw.
Hands down the best professor I've ever had. While the course I took was pretty challenging, just showing up to his lectures and paying attention there would guarantee that you get at least a C the exam, as he is very good at breaking down difficult concepts and explaining them in a way that everyone will be able to understand.
I honestly don't know why his rates are so low, Professor Wright is the best biology teacher I've ever had. He is super passionate about biology and made the lectures super engaging and interesting. Exams are pretty fair as long as you pay attention to lectures and read the textbook. I would definitely recommend his class!!
He's really not bad. My personal favorite professor. He's passionate about his work and tries to make bio fun and interesting. If you are struggling just go talk to him he is really nice. Tests are based off powerpoints with examples being from the textbook. If you read the textbook and take decent notes on the powerpoints you should be fine.
Awesome prof. Best advice in this class is just to stay on top of things- fell a bit behind on the second exam and it really hurt me. Super informative lectures and is overall just a great professor to talk to- especially if you're already interested in biology. He is really passionate about what he teaches and puts a lot of care into his work :)
this class was hard. while he was very passionate during lectures and labs, the test often point to random specific examples from the textbook and lectures. i read the textbook and took notes and it was still not enough to get a B. the lab exams were extremely rough--that is what tanked my grades the most.
As many have said below his class is really difficult to pass. He seems like a cool dude but he summarizes too briefly in his lectures, grades by few things and doesn't communicate with the class on deadlines/exam dates. He doesn't do a review with the class as well and the exams are super hard. As much of a cool dude he is I wouldn't recommend.
This online class was fairly easy, but you need to put in some effort, read the book, and watch his video lectures to get good scores on the quizzes. No "homework" assignments and around 2 easy discussion posts. I would recommend taking this class if you need the credits.
He's a chill guy and genuinely cares about biology, the problem is the difficulty of the course and how it is taught. It's likely not his fault since the course in of itself is difficult, but there must be a better way to teach us the material.
Professor Wright is incredibly passionate about biology and makes the lectures engaging. Stay on top of the material, use the textbook and resources like unstuck ai, and you'll do well. The class has challenging exams, but the prof provides great support.
He was a great professor, taught in a very energetic and sarcastic way. His exams were straightforward whatever we had discussed in class. As a student you just had to take full and complete notes to get an A, and the textbook before class. Definitely would take a class with him again.
hes hilarious. unfortunately you will not be able to find this man outside of class without a bounty hunter and the class is HARD. no weighted categories and course is inconsistent with the syllabus (point categories are unclear, every single assignment will fundamentally change your grade).
He's obviously passionate about the subject but the tests are very hard even after reading over the textbook pages multiple times and taking notes. Can't blame him for my grade because I could've done more on my end, but he doesn't have the best ways of teaching either. Seemed to be a prof you could ask for help though. DEFINITELY PARTICIPATE!!!
He is extremely passionate about biology and is ready to answer any questions you have. However, his class is very challenging. I have other people taking the exact same class with a different professor, and it is much more manageable. This class has no extra credit, and your grade is mostly based on exams, rather than other assignments.
As a D1 procrastinator who took BIO80H and has bad memory, I still managed an A every exam. My advice: DONT SKIP LECTURES. He made concepts stick and introduced them well. Also READ THE TEXTBOOK. I'd read all the exam chapters 1-2 days before (yes it was draining but worth it) and then DO THE STUDY GUIDE as exam FRQs are the same as the study guide
Professor Wright is just a chill guy. He doesn't care if you turn things in late and doesn't gaf about your lab worksheets. I appreciate his chillness. You can tell he doesn't care for the materialistic parts of class and cares more about what you learned and how you apply them in real life. He is the realest goat and wears Jesus sandals to class.
Cool prof, but real test heavy. I had to request more quizzes at the end of the semester on behalf of classmates because everyone's grade was borderline. Still, tests are kind of hard if you don't stay on track with the readings. It moves really fast. However, he makes his lectures really entertaining and cracks some good jokes every now and then.
This professor is truly the best, he is one of the chillest professors I have ever meet. He is very passionate about what he teaches and it makes the whole case super fun. The tests are pretty easy and exactly like the study guide, so I would say stick to studying the study guides. Also there is no cumulative final.
