She's very opinionated. I was very uncomfortable about the way she spoke about her 13-year-old son, constantly badmouthing him. She also had a problem with speaking about other students to the class behind their backs. However, she's a very good teacher. Lots of extra credit! Lots of blogging (which was a pain). We only had to write 3 papers.

shes one of the best teachers ive had. shes always more than willing to answer questions and provide any recources she can, she keeps up with the online grades and gives extra credit. as long as you attend classs do the work and listen you shouldnt have any problem making at least a B if not an A.

Ms. White was the best english teacher i have for a long time. She was extremely nice and cared about her students. I felt like i could talk to her like she was one of the other students. Which made me feel even better coming into class. PLEASE TAKE HER IF YOU WANT A FUN AND ENTERTAINING TEACHER.

There's 3 essays, a blog that you have to post every week, and a minute writing every day. Not hard at all as long as you put thought into it. I definitely recommend taking her class.

Professor White is an AMAZING teacher. Not only is she hilarious, but she actually makes class fun and interesting. I definitely recommend her. Although attendance isnt mandatory it might as well be because she did alot of minute writings that counted for the majority of our grade. However only 3 essays the whole year. Her class was really easy. She's really outspoken and loud. It was a fun class though. She makes you do a lot of daily work that counts for your grade, but like the other comments, there's not as many essays to write. She knows what she's teaching so listen to her! She likes to mess with her students and tease them, but overall, she's really nice.

The work requires a lot of the text books. You will do a lot of reading and with that reading she will put assignments on the board that's related to it. Take this class!

She's a great teacher, she's helpful, funny, and REALLY knows what she's talking about. But, if you are a conservative Christian, I would not recommend taking her class. She is very opinionated about Gay marriage, abortions, vegetarianism, and is not to kind towards Christians.

While Professor White is a great teacher, I've found her to be extremely overbearing. Everything you do in the class feels a bit forced, which can be very uncomfortable. Sometimes it seems like she's always scolding us. It just put me off. The textbook is absolutely required, and there's also separate online homework that is just busy work.

Her assignments are based on practical, realistic activities such as writing a college application that you will encounter in the normal course of life. Professor White explains things so clearly and is very forgiving on due dates if you are struggling. I took the August to October flex class and we had papers due about every two weeks. If you submit a rough draft, it'll be a bit easier on your final draft grade. She is encouraging and really cares about her students. I would take her class again.

Professor White is the most understanding teacher ever. This professor is very generous and will help you if you really need help. This is very hard class through, so get prepared to write. If you cannot follow up with the pace, then I don't suggest taking this class though. She is awesome!

Justine White is by far the best professor I have taken yet. I took her online class for 1301 & 1302, one in the summer and one as a spring flex term. It was a lot of work (something due every day in the summer/ several times a week in the spring) but she is very detailed in giving instruction, so it is easy while you learn a lot. Very worth it.

I took her 8-week online class. Prof White is passionate and enthusiastic about the subject. The readings are interesting and relevant to our times and social issues. Lectures and clear instructions for everything. BEWARE there is A LOT of work. Something is due every day. If I weren't stuck at home due to COVID-19, I would not have done so well.

She would share some of the things she would do at the time and she made class feel safe while also making assignments a bit difficult. Nothing you couldn't figure out though. She would also allow for you to finish assignments past 11:59pm for no late points, you would just have to finish before she wakes up the next morning. Awesome teacher.

Professor White is an amazing professor. She does give out homework, but as long as you do it with effort, you'll receive a good grade. She provides a lot of helpful documents that can help with grammar, essays, or structure issues. As for the essays, she did them by sections and provides amazing feedback that can truly help to improve as a writer!

Simple. Do the work and put in effort, you'll get an A. She gives great feedback, especially on papers. Personally, I will turn in drafts to her for commenting and get maybe a 70, but the feedback is so beneficial that I got an A+ on every essay I turned in. There are quizzes and discussion boards to bump your grade, that is if you do well.

She was very welcoming in her emails and engages with the student frequently. The coursework can push your knowledge at times, but as long as you thoroughly read the rubric and put a little time in your essays, you should make an A. Going by the templates that she gives you will guarantee a good grade in the class.

I loved this class! It was all online for a short summer class, & Prof White makes you work for your grades, but gives extremely good feedback on papers. She helps as much as possible, and is easy to talk to outside of class. Lots of work involved, but she tells you exactly how to revise essays to get a good grade. If you work hard, you'll do well.

I took her class online for English 1301 and 1302. She is very caring and gives really good feedback. I will say you have to work for it because she has assignments due Monday, Wednesday and Fridays. If you want an easy A maybe check other professors and come back to her but if you plan on improving your grammar and writing, she is the best option.

Wonderful professor! Class is WRITING HEAVY but papers are broken up into parts; making them easily manageable. A few class discussions and peer reviews. Annotations on articles are simple. Readings are easy to understand. Professor offers plenty of resources to succeed in this course. Would recommend her course to others!!!

I took ENGL-1301 (16-weeks), we have homework assignments from Monday - Thursday. There are a lot of notebooks and journals to write, multiple quizzes & tests, and 3 essays. One thing I like about Professor White is that she reads our draft of our essay and helps us with what we need to revise so we don't lose points in the final draft.

The course is easy to navigate. Plenty of writing assignments. Papers are broken down throughout the course, so you don't have to turn in a five-page essay in one night. The Professor gives plenty of feedback on assignments. She encourages students to reach out for any help. You will definitely learn and improve on writing from this class!

Professor Justine White is a good professor. If you follow her lead and show up to class, You will surely pass the class.

You really can't fail her class as long as you do the work on time . She breaks up essays into their components. Only really "downside" is most of the work she gives is due day of instead of the end of the week like most classes. Pretty cool professor tbh. She gives really good feedback on essays too. Just make sure to take decent notes.

It is super easy to make an A in her class. You only have 2 essays that are broken down into parts so it makes the process less stressful, she gives you little assignments that help bump up your grade. You only have work due Mondays and Wednesdays. She grades everything the day you turn it in and responds super fasr. If you want an A take her!!!

Overall a good professor, with lots of homework and daily assignments though. She does give very clear and understandable guides to every assignment or help on blackboard. As long as you give effort on the assignments you don't have to be great at writing to pass with a good grade. She also has a really cute service animal and is funny.

I took both ENG-1301 and ENG-1302 with this professor. She is really helpful and she was always available when I needed her. We had a lot of essays but that helped me to improve my writing. Prof.White is one of the best professors I have taken. She is very understanding of situations and gives extensions when you need them. She has many assignments so you can easily get a A in the course. The assignments include note taking, annotations for some articles, discussion boards, peer review, to name a few. ENG-1302 was a bit more than 1301. I have 2 papers and quite a lot assignments due every Monday and Wednesday. She is easy if you do her work and participate and can easily get an A+. She also gives extra credit as in you attend a library class and she gives you a 100 on an assignment. She also gives excellent feedback!

I took 1301 with her had a bit of a hard time at the start due to some assignments I missed I finished with a C but enjoyed her class alot because it was not difficult you just had to pay attention. I took her 1302 course aswell very similar to the first one wasn't much harder at all I highly recommend her class, homework is easy! 1302 I got A.

OMG PROFESSOR JUSTINE WHITE IS THE BEST ENGLISH PROFESSOR I HAVE EVER HAD AT RICHLAND CAMPUS. She is the definition of 'caring' and 'passionate'! Her assignments are so easy to do! Her syllabus is clear and she always reminds you what is due on the same day. I wish she was a professor of another subject as well! I would have taken her no doubt.

Amazing professor that is always ready to get impactful feedback. She uses the Microsoft app called "Teams" and it is basically like texting her which make communication 10 times easier. She replies fast and is always ready to help. Her assignments are very time consuming but that was because I had her for a summer session. Highly recommend!

EASIEST PROFESSOR!!! Professor White made this class so easy. I struggle with English and writing. She responds on Teams quickly and cares for her students to succeed. She is a harsh grader on your rough draft, but if you work hard you will receive an A+ on your paper. Downside is she would not move assignments when I had orientation for college.

Professor White is a great professor. Her course consists of in person assignments, participation in peer reviewing, homework (note taking and annotating), and essays. She gives great feedback and splits up assignments evenly. She is a tough grader but for good reasons. I will say she gets frustrated a lot but mostly with technology.

AMAZING professor. Not a lot of homework. Very easy class, she explains everything nicely, we take major assignments step by step to make sure everything is easy and gets completed. When I first viewed the ratings, I was quite scared to walk in on the first day. However, I am glad I did. Her class was very easy to work through. Prof White was always available for any questions on Teams and would give individual feedback in class that was very helpful. I can assure you she is awesome and has quite a sense of humor.
