DR.Lopez is super intelligent! He's a good teacher, his english accent is strong so students may have a hard time understanding. The test are easy, str8 out of the Power point, which is summarized from the book. There is xtra credit for those who need it. I recommend him if you are responsible and want to be there to learn. He'll help u if u want.

Very nice and interesting professor.He gives the information in a very straight forward manner (its an entry level course; what do you expect).BUT, he does take the time to help each student comprehend the information presented.Do not worry about linguistics, this professor is very good.

i have him twice a week so he crams alot into powerpoints and about 4 to 5 chapters in texts. Very nice,giving study guides & posts all powerpoints in class. Accent but understandable. The class is based on quizzes and exams.

Best teacher I have ever had, easy A if you go to the lab tutoring center. Everything he covers during class is on quizzes or exams! For quizzes memorize the Power points for practicums make sure you go to the lab! If I could have the chance of having him again as a professor for another class I wouldn't hesitate! He is AWESOME!

This professor is very nice and everything that is on the exams can be uploaded from his website because he makes powerpoints for each lesson. As long as you study well the powerpoints for quizzes and tests you are guranteed to pass. There are about four quizzes and four tests throughout the course.

Great professor. If you feel his accent gets in the way of your learning, then just download the powerpoints from his site. Read, take notes & study the powerpoints because they have EVERYTHING you could ever need to pass his quizzes and tests. The key is not to be lazy, he gives you all the things you need, it all depends on how you use them.

Great professor test are all from power point. one short quiz every week but basiclly tells you whats on test practicums are fair just study and you should get an A or B.

Dr. Lopez is an awesome professor. He makes his pp very easy to understand and gives a lot of guidance for exams and quizes. His Lab PP's and his CD which you can get at the MDC bookstore are great study guides for both BSC2085L and 2086L. I highly recommend him for both lecture and lab.

this professor is amazing! attendance is not mandatory BUT if you come to every class he'll give you 5 extra points at the end of the semester. Don't buy the book just study the powerpoints and the study guide and you'll get an A forsure!

This professor is fantastic! He really cares about the students and tries to help. Every quiz and test he provides some extra credit questions (for bsc2085L also). Very nice and helpful teacher. He goes by the power points that he post on his web site and gives a quiz every class that's based on them. So if you study the power points, you'll do fine. You really don't need the book but the CD is helpful.

All the quizes and tests are based on the pp which he'll post on the web. Extremely easy and helpful, want an easy A, TAKE HIM. Doesn't use the textbook at all. Has an accent but with the pp he might as well be speaking in chinese you'll still get an A.

I currently have a B in his class, the first test didn't go well because I didn't know what to expect. If you study you will do good in this class, just a warning, there are no reviews, your quizzes before your tests are your insight to what to expect on the test. Study pp and take notes from the book as well, it helps.

He is so nice!!!! HE gives you powerpoints and updates them quick on his class website. But you need to study for those 4 tests and 4 quizzes. And even if you don't understand there is a review in the book.

His lab is easy, all you have to do is memorize the materials on the powerpoint he provides. I got an A. Just memorize his powerpoint a couple minutes a day before his quizzes and especially his practucums then you are set. You can't expect to know everything in just one night. Don't procrastinate, this is a really easy class if you study right.

This professor was very easy to understand even though he had an accent. He liked to see his stdents succeed in the course and gavxtra credt along with tests.

Ok so he is a wonderful professor. Knows his stuff. But if you are taking him just for lab, he asks for functions when lab is identifying where... attendance is not mandatory but recommended as he gives daily quizzes and extra credit. Power points help but it is a lot. Do not take if you are not prepared to study!

He is really nice. He teaches really well and clarifies any questions you may have. His study guides on Wordpress are awesome. If you go over them for a fact you will pass. I passed without even opening the book and just the power points.

This professor is amazing, humble human being, very knowledgeable of anatomy and makes it very easy to understand why and when something is used. I have never had a professor this good! I honestly respect his knowledge.

If you follow his powerpoint presentations, you will have no problems. Also, keep track of the lab microscope slides that you do in the lab(take pictures, they will be in the final). Besides that, easy A. Not difficult at all. Just do your part !

I took both the lecture and lab . His lecture is somewhat complex, you have to really pay attention and attend every class otherwise you'll be lost. The lab is very simple, go over the slides and study the guide he has on his website. easy A. He really cares about his class and making all his students pass. Unfortunately I missed too many classes.

I took both BSC 2085 and 2086 with respective labs and I got an A in each class. Dr. Lopez is very knowledgeable. He is very clear about what we are going to be tested and he gives extra credits that are easy to complete. Honestly the bad reviews must come from mediocre students. Remember this is college and you have to study a lot on your own.

Professor Lopez is great!!!. He knows the material inside out. Anatomy and physiology involve a lot of studying and memorization so pay attention to everything he says and take notes. Anyone that says Prof Lopez is not good, is definitely not ready for college. Prof. Lopez is so easy and understanding its no joke. He gives you one extra credit on each quiz and 5 no each exam. All homeworks are extra credit as well. You don't need the book because all he's materials are on the power points that he provides for you. If you fail his class you really just didn't try.

Dr. Lopez is a great professor. He made the lab for anatomy 1 great and was a great supplement for the lecture. He has his own website where he uploads powerpoints of the labs. There are quizzes before class about the previous lecture that help you study and learn for the final exam. I would 100% recommend him to anyone.

This class is VERY easy to pass. You do not need to look at the textbook once. You only buy the book for the pearson hw codes. The real thing to study from is his powerpoints, which is the direct source of his quiz/test/practicum questions. You need to memorize these ppts and you will get an A. It's a very easy class structure. No reason to do bad

Solid choice for anatomy. Knowledgeable professor. Explains everything very slowly and repeats a lot so you understand the concepts. Lab is just memorizing a bunch of parts, it is what it is. At least for his class, there are no surprises because he reuses the ppts for tests.

I'd take him for every subject if I could. Everyone who does bad and complains brought it on themselves bc his tests are 100% FROM THE PPTs. He repeats the important info a hundred times so I am confused why people do bad. Extra credit IS given. But only students who actually study get it though bc EC is given by answering questions in class.

Everything is literally based off his powerpoints, quizzes, midterm and final. Midterm and final are proctored. Pearson has about fifteen chapters. (not hard) Quiz about every week on blackboard. No textbook needed. Just make sure you download his powerpoints and review for the major exams; other then that he's cake. He's very kind and smart.

The quizzes and practicums were easy if you have the power points at hand. They were the pictures from the power points but unlabeled.

Hes pretty good with his lectures his classes are just sooo long in my opinion. Hes hard to understand because of his heavy Spanish accent. He requieres lock down browser but you can still use his PowerPoints and look up information if needed. I think he was a pretty good professor in my opinion. I would for sure take again.

His lectures are very informative and he does take his time to explain the complex concepts in an easier way for his students to understand the material. . chill and straight to the point. took him for BSC2086 too. he teaches from PowerPoint slides. there is no class participation. all you do is log in to the class and listen. if you're looking for an interactive teacher he is not the right fit. quiz every chapter but EVERYTHING is on the PowerPoint, and not proctored. can't get any easier than that.

Professor Lopez knows his subject in detail and I admire him for his knowledge .The class is not easy at all due to the amount of content in such a short time, but he always helped us with his explanations and study guides.
