Nice teacher. She makes Biology very interesting and you only have 4 tests and homework.
Dr Wagle is an awesome teacher! Her class was a lot of fun. Her lectures are fast paced and very informative. I think this class is an excellent intro to general bio and Wagle is a great professor to make that introduction.
SHE WAS TOOOO FAST IN TEACHING, I WAS SO DISSAPOINTED AND HALF THE STUDENTS DROPPED THE CLASS. SHE IS VERY INFLEXIBLE WITH EXTRA CREDIT AND HELPING YOU SUCCEED. I WAS NOT PLEASED WITH THIS TEACHER AT ALL!
EXCELLENT TEACHER. Her study guide highly recommended bcuz she teaches directly from it. You can drop two of your lowest test grades. She makes this class very interesting and makes sure you understand everything before moving on.
Dr. Wagle is an AWESOME TEACHER! She helped me out alot. I made an A in her class. She's very understanding as well and she's very thorough. BELIEVE ME! Just write down whatever she says cause its always going to be on the test. Its usually not from the textbook but go get the study guide cause it helps alot as well.
She's an excellent teacher and really breaks down the whole aspect of the body. I really enjoyed her class. Her exams although are somewhat pre-med type. I've never had a professor make up such difficult tests. She also doesn't review for test or give any clue on certain portions to focus on. Memorize the chapters and lecture guides. Not easy.
A really great teacher. I wasn't interested in Biology at first but she made me want to learn. Write down everything she says. Her study guide is pretty much the majority of the test. The class is kind of hard. But if you think about it. It's biology. There is a lot to learn. Very interesting.
i am currently taking her. she does not give reviews and her test always have at least 90 questions and the exams are difficult.
lET ME WARN all AMERICAN students that this is not the instructor to take in my class only the foreign students pass while she's making money off the american students whose foolishly buys the study guide she WRITES AND so HIGHLY recommends. Now don't you know foreigners think AMERICANS are STUPID SO don't fall for the hype.....
She is a fantastic professor, she makes sure that everyone understands the material. her labs exams are not quite easy but she is a great professor if you want to make an A.
you guys should take her class. she is exceptionally good at what she teaches. she is very, kind and cooperative. her test are really easy and she gives lots of extra credit. just work hard and "A" will be yours. good luck guys.
First of all not just foreign kids pass her class she is a very helpful and THROUGH teacher. If u are going into the medical feild definitely take her. The study guides are priceless you can always use them even after u are out of her class. She is challenging but damn good.
Dedicated teacher! Her tests aren't easy, but she offers an amazing amount of study guides and help with the material. Her lectures are really good, she publishes an outline of her lecture notes, offers them free on her website along with power point, animations, and practice tests. Homework is extra credit and she drops an exam grade. Good class!
Professor Wagle is one of the best professors I have had in a long time and I respect her. She has realistic expectations for her students in terms of material taught, and if you listen to her lectures and use her study guide (I never took notes, just highlighted key points during the lectures) you will pass the class with an A.
Dr. Wagle is excellent! I was told not to take her and I m glad that I didn't listen. She makes everything simple and easy, it's like putting on your shoes and tying them. She is a great professor and if you need A&P for Nursing, please take her!!!!
Dr. Wagle is one of the best professors I've ever had. Very thorough and she knows her stuff. Her study guide is a must, as the test material mostly comes from this. I really enjoyed this class, and she is a very approachable person to boot. And to that person who commented about Americans not getting a good grade - what are you talking about??
may be good, but you choice
Dr. Wagle she's really easy and an awesome teacher. She uses study guide, which the tests are from that.
DR wagle is the best teacher I have ever had. She explains everything to make you understand. I never took notes... I just hightlighted the main points in the book and in the study guides. YOU WILL LEARN AP FOR SURE.
Dr. Wagle is one of the best teachers I have ever had (and I'm working on a 3rd degree). She makes class very interesting, is extremely helpful, and her explanations are crystal clear. Also, her tests are long, but she does not try to "trick" you. Additionally, she builds extra credit into the exams. Go to class, do your work, study the material
Great, Great teacher! I am regretful not taking her for my AP(I). She makes each chapter interesting and understood. After class you surely need to review the content, but everything is clear to you after the lecture. I never know how many teachers there are recently giving lecture with hand-writing method in US? It enhance you to memorize a lot.
Dr. Wagle is so great. She takes her time, is well organized, has everything on WebCT, great study guide, goes along with the book, helps you when you need it. You can make an A just do not slack! Be an adult and keep up with things yourself and read the book and use the WebCT criteria always. Plus, she makes it more interesting with her fun facts.

Dr. Wagle is an amazing prof. I took her for AP1 & AP2. She is very smart! Study the lec notes & study guide and anyone can make a decent grade. She makes the subject very interesting! Best prof!!
She was a good teacher.... you need to put a lot of time and effort into the class it is not a BS class... If you dont go to class she will drop you.... i do not like going to class so she dropped me but the material was not hard she gives a lot of helpful notes online
SHE IS A REALLY GOOD TEACHER....EVEN THOUGHT I ONLY TOOK HER FOR LIKE TWO WEEKS... FOR THE HOUR AND A HALF THAT I WAS THERE, SHE MADE THE CLASS SO INTERESTING!!! BELIEVE ME I DONT LIKE BIOLOGY AND WITH HER BIOLOGY JUST LOOKS EASIER BUT DONT FOOL YOURSELF, YOU STILL HAVE TO STUDY!!!
YOU MUST STUDY TO MAKE THE GRADE. A&P IS A HARD SUBJECT BUT TEACHER MAKES HER HARDEST AND BEST EFFORT TO EXPAIN TO WHERE YOU UNDERSTAND
Hard as HELL! Do not take her, her exams are real difficult, she makes every answer looks the same. This suppose to be a beginning class -Intro, so she suppose to go a little at ease. And when you taking a test -I mean she covers up the art decorated board and walks around and looks over you like elementary kids. She don't give no slack. DON'T!
I used this site to pick my A&P II professor and chose Wagle...sorry guys I was NOT IMPRESSED with her at all, defintly a mistake on my part, I listened to you fools. For everyone else reading this try Dr. Nazanin Hebel, she is awesome.
If you are lazy and do not want to work on your own this would not be the professor to take. If you are willing to review do your homework and read before the class you will make an A. You will also learn the material.
Nursing being my major biology is my life but I would NOT recommend this professor. She didn't deliver the information in a way for me to comprehend it but i would HIGHLY recommend Jain, Renu she's great!!!!
You cannot ask for a better professor. Very patient, friendly, and belives in you learning well.
This instructor is very tricky in her tests, she walks around the classroom like elementary and even covers up the art board, shes very nerve racking, and have everyone to gather around her and tell her your name as she takes row and mark you off. AVOID HER!
i take her class in the spring, she is alright, you need pay attention in the class and test mostly in the study guide that actually written by her. i'm lucky to get through her class with the B.. she give 5 exam and allow you to drop one.. u can exempt the final if u pass the first four test. easy for those who like to study..
I took A & P from this professor and she was AWESOME! For students who think they can just go to class and not do any work outside classtime, you probably won't get much out of this or any other class. Dr. Wagle wants her students to be successful and she is extremely helpful. Read, use study guide, take notes, and do practice tests.
She was great and provided every resource imaginable to help you with this class. Highly recommended!
There is a lot of material to cover and she thinks she's better than anybody; that?s annoying. If you are foreign she's not gonna like you, worse if you still have an accent, even though; she has a heavy accent too. Her exams are very hard, mult-choice very confusing. If you don?t want to fail don't take her; believe me!
I was in her spring class and she is awesome! Her style of teaching is amazing because when she speaks it sounds like a narrator. Her lectures come straight out of the study guide she co-wrote. Therefore, instead of writing notes you can use a highlighter and highlight her lecture in the study guide.
She is awesome... She is the professor that you need if you really want to learn something about AP I... She is not picky, but you need to study her notes and study guide then you will make a easy A for it... Take her if you want step into health professional....
Dr Wagle was amazing! She tests from her study guides on Blackboard, offers extra credit and will helps you as much as you need!
VERY EASY CLASS. she suggests to buy the book & etc, expects you to follow in class but i suggest u dont need to buy the book. just buy HER own STUDY GUIDE that SHE Made in the bookstore and you are set!! thats the only thing i brought to clas.shes nice/helpful. idk what with the neg. review. EASY A. 3 test (last is opt.), 2 lab test. noncumlative
Wonderful professor!! Dr. Wagle is extremely clear in her lecture and tests from that material, print the lecture study pages and add your own notes in the margin. you will have to study for this class...use the additional sources provided via blackboard and you will get an A.
She's great. Take her if you are looking to going into health professions, you will definitely know/learn your anatomy! Very clear and concise teacher and has excellent resources via blackboard. Word of warning, this class is not for the lazy!
Dr. Wagle is great. This class is a very easy A as long as you do everything she asks of you. Tests are very easy with her study guide. Buy it, otherwise you'll be in trouble going by the book. Anyone who does not get an A in this class probably shouldn't be in college. She drops your lowest grade too. Take her, you wont regret it.
Great teacher! Took her online. Test were easy as long as you have her study guide. Lab test are online but in class, so u must study for them. Drops lowest grade.
The class was overall easy as long as you read and study your book. All we did was take quizzes. Only thing I didn't like was not being able to see which questions I got wrong on the tests.
Very good teacher. She knows her stuff and teaches very well. Lots of information, the class moves very quickly. You will be reading alot. Uses mostly the study guide but you do need to read the book. Very friendly, no curve, there is bonus questions on test. Test are hard. Great teacher.
Good Class. Professor is greatI took this class secon start, she gives 3 quizzes every 2 weeks have to be taken by 5:00pm on saturdays. Drops lowest test grade even Final. Don't need book just purchase her Study guide from hcc book store. Great class
Dr. Wagle is an awesome A & P teacher! She is extremely thorough and is very great at explaining A & P. You have to do the work to get the grade though!
Easy class and super clear layout. Teacher is very organized and helpful.
I took her online. the first time I took bio (@ another school) I made an "F". I made a 98 in her class. She is helpful and provides powerpoints, and chapter summaries which are helpful on her exams. I enjoyed her class. Do the reading, try to understand it and you will make an "A." She drops the lowest grade
Odd to have to pay $20 for a study guide. most profs post for free on Blackboard
100% you are doing yourself a favor if you sign up for her class. Very clear syllabus. Assignments due every 2 weeks, and the quizzes and lab reports come straight out of your workbook. Work book is actually written by her, and is very easy to understand. Highly recommended if you need this lab.
She is a biology freak. If you don't like biology I would not take this class. You have three quizzes due every two weeks but even after you read the Chapter and you think you understand you really don't because her test are hard.. Dont take this class unless you want to retake it.
Easy class. Instructions are easy. 3 quizes are combined for 1 grade with plenty of extra credit questions. 5 total combined grades plus the final. If you are happy with the 5 combined average, don't have to take the final. Have to read to pass. I got a 96 while holding a full time job and taking 3 other classes (4 total)
Great professor. Must study notes, powerpoint and study guide. If you are a critical thinker you will have no problem.
Buy her study guide the lectures online. I did not have book and made an A. I would say easy class. The final is a cumulative collection of quizzes so make sure you save the answers to quizzes. I would totally recommend her and she also lets you drop a test.
Very interesting and very easy to understand, I would recommend this class to everyone!!!
Dr. Wagle is an excellent teacher. I took her 5 week course this summer. 6 tests including a final which could be dropped if you were happy with your other exam scores. Easy, easy A if you go to class and go over notes everyday. She goes straight off her study guide. You will never need the textbook. Learned a ton! Good for PT school.
I took her online class over the summer. She made up her own book so everything you need is in it. This is a very easy course and I recommend you taking her online class!! Keep up with quiz dates and you will do great
Dr. Wagle is an awesome professor! She teaches with passion and it really helps with the learning process! I don't think the textbook is necessary but I would definitely buy her notes book. I took her summer class and enjoyed it a lot. Made an A. Just went to class (paid attention) and looked over the notes every other day.
I have attempted Bio 2 times previous to taking this class. All test are online, you have to read the chapters to pass the test. Overall easy, dont miss any test and you will pass. I did with a B and I seriously HATE BIO..I dont understand anything that deals with science!!!!
This class was an 8wk course online. The class is very easy as long as you read HER book and do the labs. She will answer any questions, but everything is in the book!
I took her for A&P Spring 2013. I will say this. She is one of the best professors I have had.The way she engages you in each topic and tells stories. There is no way you can complain. I didn't buy her study guide and the tests were just fine, but long (which may intimidate people). She is great and I really recommend her. I got an A. Hard earned
Took her online lab. May need internet or bio book to use to explain things in more detail. Everything on quizzes are in her labs. MUST do labs to pass. Easy class. Gives you 3 weeks to do 3 labs, 3 quizzes and 1 lab check quiz. Take her if you want an easy A! If happy with grade, you don't have to take final exam.
BUY HER BOOK!! She drops lowest grade. Lab exams are fill in the blank, but not difficult. Most of the class dropped and only 5 people were left because you have to dedicate alot of time & study hard. She was very passionate, helpful and cared about her students. I got the feeling that I didn't wanna let her down and did well!
Just finished taking her for the summer 1st 5 weeks. Very easy. Got an A didn't expect anything less.
I used her study guide a majority of the time-it's a must to buy. She is very organized and communicates well with the class. She answers emails quickly. Take her! You won't regret it! (I made an A)
Dr wagle's online class requires commitment, took her 5wks class and got an A,but it was alot of dedication.5-6 chapters to read and take a timed exams each wk. her study guides was useful, she recommends buying txt books, she gives extra 7 points on each overall exams. 77 questions on labs,70 is the maximum point=100 lowest score dropped.
Good class and professor. Class fully online. Homework, paper, tests & exam. Everything is all online. Test are a little difficult as some of the questions don't come from the book or notes. Make sure you read! Otherwise, it is an easy A as long as you due the work & turn it in on time!
Lots of work for a one credit lab course. I had her for Bio as well. Study guide is a must for the Biology class. Really you will not need the book if you get the study guide. If you read and turn in your work on time you should get an A.
I took this class online and it was super easy. Mrs. Wagle is very ORGANIZED. Make sure you purchase the study guide because it will be a big help. You will have a LOT of reading and quizzes for each chapter, but if you do well on all the quizzes and exams, then you can bypass the final exam. I made an A+ in her class.
I took this class Summer I of 2014 online. One thing you must do is study and complete the lab manual. The lab manual is a requirement in order to pass this course. Do not under estimate this course it's not hard you must do the work to pass. Ms. Wagle was kind and response quickly to emails. I never had a problem shes a great teacher.
I didn't need the book or the lab manual .. The answers pretty much came from her powerpoints.. Easy class but I was fine with a B so I didn't take her final each test has 7 extra credit questions there's 7 tests including the final and the lowest gets dropped.. Easy course.
ONLINE - had already taken BIOL 1308. Material was straight forwarded. Complete lab manual & online experiments; tests reflect each chapter. You must put in an effort. Made an A & was exempt for final.
She is a very organized professor. You will take plenty of tests, but you can drop one. for lab test fill the study guide completely and you will have an A. She is the best professor I have had at HCC.
Dr. Wagle is a really great teacher who cares about and takes pride in the education of her students. A&P II is not an easy A, but she gives you as many resources as she can to help you achieve your goal. Her audio lectures and study guide show just how dedicated she is, and they are immensely helpful!
Hands down best professor I've had in the science field. I learned a tremendous amount through her hard work and effort. She writes everything on the board with helpful pictures, no boring reading from slides. I have amazing notes from her. She prepares you for the exams, just take notes and study them. Take her if you actually want to learn.
Tests were long sometimes I didn't finish (made B's). No reviews for tests and you get tested over everything (at least the questions are in order by chapter) I just studied her power points and did the lab which helped for lab tests. Download textbook free online. I completely failed that final 100% , I got all A's on homework. Yet I got an A.
As long as you complete Lab Reports, you will pass the exams! Easy A!
If you plan on slacking or not dedicating yourself to this class then stay away. She is an awesome professor and knows her stuff but you will have to work for your grade! Many resources are provided to help you study but not much extra credit is given.
Very easy class! Do the work on time and you'll get an A. She is very clear when all the stuff us due and even reminds you from time to time. If you do well on the tests you wont even have to take the final. Keep up with assignments and tests and you'll do very well in the class.
I love her! She is an amazing professor. Knows how to teach&explains everything. Her ppts r the key for passing her exams. She's the type of prof that teaches black&white. NOT black gray blue (if u know what I mean). She's not teaching to "trick" you. She teaches us the basics, which will allow us to understand more complex things later to come!
The Good. She gives extra credit on each test making the class an easy A. The Bad. She isn't particularly easy to get in contact with and has very little engagement with the class. If you are an organized self starter, this class will be no problem. If you need to be prodded along, look elsewhere.
Super easy. I had access to the whole semester from the get go. There isn't a textbook, but there is a workbook. Everything on the exams are from the workbook. Meaning, you have to do the work to pass the exams. I never had to contact her considering how easy this class was. You get 2 weeks before each exam is due. And it's only exams for the grade
You must work for a good grade. Study Study Study! Amazing professor and knows her stuff!
Only take this course if you're taken her before! Five test/exams lowest grade dropped. Test/exams consist of 50 multiple choice questions and you only have 60 minutes. I hope you're a fast reader, so I thought I was!!! You have about a little over a minute for each question, GOOD LUCK with that, no time to even think. She responds to emails fast.
Horrible professor but simple class. She is straight forward with the structure of the class. She just sits at her desk while we, the students, have to figure out all the parts of the body on our own. She only helps if you ask her. She should be showing the students everything first then chilling at her seat. Tests are hard! study well!
Took online course. Must purchase mandatory workbook to pass. Extremely easy can be time consuming. 7 open book exams. Stay on task meet deadlines
The online bio lab is SUPER easy to pass. It's informational, but the format makes it very easy to pace yourself. If you work, it's easy to just get all the work for one section done on your day off. Really creative format. I really liked the class.
AMAZING! she gives you all the lecture material as well as outside sources for extra help. There is no way you can get an A without spending at least 6-10 hours a week just reading the textbook and powerpoints BEFORE homework. The Pearson Mastering can be a bit of a pain because they're constantly updating late nights and evenings.
Loved Professor Wagle! Was lucky to have her for both lecture and lab. Doing this might save you some difficulty as Anatomy & Physiology is a rigorous course. She teaches in simple terms , making it easier to grasp concepts. She's black&white straight to the point. Exams are straight-forward &there are no surprises. Wants you to succeed!
EASY A. DO YOUR WORK YOU WILL DO GREAT. 5 EXAMS. DROPS LOWEST GRADE.
For this particular online class a lab manual was needed and online content was provided through the canvas site. Read the syllabus, complete labs and tests in a timely manner. Score high on tests, lowest grade dropped, take final in person. You will get an A.
Offers 5 extra credit points on each exam. The homework is all on Pearson, do it bcus it counts, points equate to 65, same as her exams and she gives extra credit in the homework, too. This class is doable, but very difficult. If you're not interested in studying, this is NOT for you.
At first you think dr. Wagle is a decent professor. But as the semester goes on you realize she doesnt really care about her students. She sits in the front on her phone while youre teaching the material youve never seen to yourself. Her test are extremely hard and she counts off for spelling and not knowing word for word the function.
You have to study are you won't do well, I did not like how the percentage in canvas was disabled you did not know how well you were doing till the end so if you are not doing well you have to estimate your grade to see if you need to drop. Four tests two online two in-person lowest exam dropped and Pearson Homework for each chapter.
Slow grader, percents are disabled in canvas so you have to estimate your grade. It is an easy class though. You will have to study because some of the tests are proctored. If you do the practice quizzes, youll be fine.
Took her for AP I in the 5 wk summer. Let me tell you it was hard ( API is difficult no matter what professor), but she is an amazing lecturer. Her ppts are straight forward, as are her test!. She adds extra credit to each exam and drops the lowest test grade. I made an A, just study and you will be fine :). I plan to take AP II with her.
I have never met a professor that was this inconsiderate. Missed assignments due to multiple major family situations. Proving proof that so much was going on and if it was possible to attempt to complete the assignments past the due date. The professor " NO, it is against my policy". The level of my disbelief was high, I couldn't believe this.
Dr. Wagle is an awesome professor. She does an excellent job of relating concepts and her tests are directly relevant to her lectures. I would take her for all of my Biology courses.
They had 70 questions each exam (65 graded and 5 bonus per exam-MC/T/F). The online quizzes using the Connect website were open book and easy (worth 65 points). There were four total lecture exams (2 online and 2 at a HCC DE testing center). Department Final Exam had 50 MC questions and was hard. Also, no exam review which was annoying!!!
4 Multiple Choice/True or False lecture exams (70 questions each-65 points). 3 online exams and 1 in-person exam at the HCC DE Testing Center (paper-pencil exam). McGraw Hill quizzes (65 points) that were online (open note). The department final exam was online though Respondus Lockdown Browser with Webcam (50 multiple choice questions-hard).
4 Multiple Choice/True or False lecture exams (70 questions each). 3 online exams and 1 in-person exam at the HCC DE Testing Center (paper-pencil exam). McGraw Hill quizzes (65 points) that were online (open note). The department final exam was online though Respondus Lockdown Browser with Webcam (50 multiple choice questions-hard).
Take 16 weeks, not summer. Maybe in person she's great and gives good pointers but listening to all those lectures and reading the book is hectic for 5 week summer. Need to know every little detail so you don't get surprised. Tests are BRUTAL. Not homework heavy, McGraw hill quizzes are a saving grace (open book, no time limit).
The professor disabled the grade calculator. You won't know your grade until the end. Good luck passing, its all hidden in keywords and hard to decipher which points are assigned to which category. Very test heavy. Ridiculous. Before COVID she was very nice, now she's just bitter.
This class was relatively easy if you study and understand what you are learning. I feel like this class was really just self teaching but the teacher did drop a test to help. I took the first 8 week class and even when I did slack, i passed the exams (6) because i uderstood the subject. Also, she uses the easy vocabulary for each chapters test.
Took this class online. Honestly, it was so easy! Just dont forget to do the assignments online. Theres 5 test, theyre pretty easy, its mainly about the powerpoints.
I was extremely disappointed taking this class. Your professors are supposed to teach you the subject. I feel like she set us up as a class to fail. We all feel the same about her. Your grade will be locked the entire semester so if you do bad you won't find out until after the semester ends. I feel that she could have done more to help!
quizlet works great to get through the long homework. modules are organized. required to read a lot, A LOT. do not take this 8 week course if you have a life. overall grade is hidden. 60/65 questions on each exam. lock down browser is a must. her messages are unwelcoming and stressful already claiming her students will cheat. uncomfortable for me.
YOU WILL FAIL! This class is ridiculously difficult. There are MULTIPLE assignments that are due weekly, & take hours to complete. She does not show your current grade until the very end. (Just unnecessary!) EVERY WEEK you will have a lockdown browser exam of 65 questions. She will make you feel like you can't even breathe or blink while taking it.
You'll need to manage your grades if you want to do well. She takes the top 5 grades out of your tests and mastering assignment score, plus a department final. Points are taken off homeworks try by try if you get them wrong, so pay attention to that. Lockdown browser required. If you memorize her study guides you'll make an A
The homework assignments are really long and they barley go towards grading most of the grades are based on your exams. She does not do extensions no matter what the situation is and always assume her students cheats. There are 330 points in total and 300 of those counts towards the exams, you have to really know how to teach yourself.
For those of you who struggle with biology, beware. I notified the professor that I was grieving my fathers passing and begged if I can get an extra day to turn in work. She will not care about your struggles - which added to my existing anxiety being in her class. The study guide and videos is literally copy + paste from powerpoint which is lazy.
Compared to most of my other professors at HCC, Dr. Wagle was one of the few who I felt taught at a college level. I've attended a four-year university, so I felt that many of the HCC instructors were nice, but not teaching college-level work. Dr. Wagle did. She gave excellent, detailed lectures, rich in information. I loved her biology class.
She is an amazing professor. If you are lazy don't take this class. Read all study guides and see her lectures; they are very helpful. Have a growth mindset. One of my classmates asked me how I pass most exams with A's and I told him by studying her study guide and he say that's time consuming; I call that bs. I am currently taking 6 classes.
BEWARE. if you do not understand biology or dont know what it is, do not take this class. She will not explain anything just post videos and tell you to do it. Incase you decide to ask help, she will tell to go to tutors. basically she is not teacher but video uploader
why would someone take this class in her right mind.
Her only plan is to fail you by any means. Alot of chapters are loaded in a single exam and there is no way you could read practice and understand in given time. Dont waste your money and time.
there were 6 exams and weekly assignments. All exams are on lockdown and very hard. You will learn every by yourself. The teacher doesn't teach anything.
It's a difficult class, I read the book, got a tutor, saw her PowerPoints, lectures, and watched YouTube videos. I would sleep late studying (2-4am) for the exam only so my highest grade would be a 75. No test review so pretty much just read and memorize every single thing in 2 or 3 whole chapter. Don't recommend taking this professor online.
Professor Jyotie Wagle is very knowledgeable all her area test are based on her powerpoint and video lectures. If you study what's on the power point you will pass. She gives extra credit on each test and out of five test she removes the lowest score. The Pearson online homework is helpful to study for test and an easy grade A.
She will not let you make up late work even if you have medical notes. She is very stern and unwilling to help you study. i would never take her again.
Dr.Wagle's online course was study heavy. For an 8 week course for non-bio majors there was so much reading and studying involved. For example one study guide had almost 220 things to memorize and the test only had 50 questions. At the start of the course she tells you to "change the way you study" for her course. its information overload
I would not recommend this class at all. If feels like a teacher that just reads off of a powerpoint more than anything else. I am taking a lab biology class that helps me out more than her hour long videos on a chapter. I just wish she would actually teach us the subjects instead of just explaining a powerpoint.
Worst professor. The exams are unnecessarily hard for a non-science major. Exams are proctored using lockdown + webcam and u can even blink comfortably because she is ready to claim that u are cheating. It was a lot of long chapters to memorize I felt like I was rushing, I ended up dropping out because I couldn't with the stress this class gave me.
If you are good at memorizing three chapters worth of material and complete all homework assignments than you should pass the class. No late work is accepted. All test are lockdown browser if you blink to hard while taking the exam she will turn your name into DE College and student service office.
She is the worst teacher, her tests/exams are nothing like what she explains.
Pay attention in class and you NEED to find people that you can study with during class, make sure you have a really good study tactic established and you'll do great. If you ask her a million questions she will give you a million responses and make sure you understand before you leave her class. she was by far the greatest professor i've ever had.
She genuinely loves what she does, you can tell by the way she speaks and engages with the students during her class. This topic is already difficult, but she gives so many resources and if you pair it with your lecture class you have no reason not to pass. Find you a nice study flow, show up to class, participate and ask questions.
The BEST Anatomy teacher you can ask for. She's the professor that makes all the online visual labs which are identical to what you see in class. She actually puts thought and effort into her teaching and material. Every professor should be like her. Easy quizzes and hw. Study her study guides for tests and its an easy A, mainly names and functions
She was easy, but also a hard grader. For lab tests, you can't be close to people because she'll think your cheating. You have to STUDY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Her labs are great , she explains everything pretty well . Her exams aren't the easiest but she gives a clear guide of what to study . Only downside is you don't know your grade until halfway through the semester. Her only other grades are lab reports and pre-labs . Doesn't really trip about attendance if ur passing . Overall 10/10
Great professor! Her study guides are key. Study her lab pages and its an EZ A+
Mrs.Wagle was one of the best professors I've come across. She is very passionate about her students passing and provides the proper resources to ace her class. Make sure to utilize her study guides and lab review pages as your holy grail for the lab exams. One lowest lab score gets dropped from final grade. None of her exams are multiple choice!
