Dr. Sharma isn't the clearest. Her grading scale is off and she is unorganized. Her tests are hard, and she expects you to read the book like it's a religion. She asks a lot of application questions. I barely skipped by with an A and I worked my tail off. Take if you love challenges.

Great Prof. Extremely nice in and out of class. Since this is introductory biology, you have to read EVERY THING. There's just no going around it. Test q's come from the book's test bank. So study the format of the questions in the book and you'll have an idea of the q's. This class is meant to be tough you you're supposed to learn a lot.

She is a super nice lady. However, really should not be a teacher. She always seems so unsure of herself and doesn't explain things clearly at all. You HAVE to read the book to pass. You cannot just take notes, because her lectures have nothing to do with the tests. Attendance is mandatory though. She does give lots of extra credit points.

NOT and easy A. Of course read the book, and teach yourself the material if need be. She is QUIET and nice, however tests are over lots of chapters, and we always seem to be behind. I think bio 2 is just really, a boring class in general. If you get her its not the end of the world, you'll live. Maybe get an A, it depends on how hard you work.

I took a hybrid class for this course so half of it was online. She is a very nice and helpful lady but her class is frustrating. I feel like your grade in class directly correlates with how well you read the book. I also went to the SI sessions and that helped me out a lot. She's not a bad person at all just a little difficult.

Doesn't trust students enough to pass out samples of the material we go over :( Lectures are very dull and the powepoints come from the book apparently. Iclickers are much easier than the tests even though she says otherwise. Nice, but seems tired and uninterested. The book is your guide to pass the class.

Dr. Sharma is very knowledgeable and utilizes various methods such as short videos. This course is difficult material no matter who you take...but she offers extra iclickers that can help your grade, homework can be repeated to improve your grade and even had two small extra credit chances. You do have to work hard, but would take her again anytime

Worst bio teacher ever! I got an A in BIO 1404 and my advisor told me that I was the 8th A he'd ever seen in that class. In this class so far i've gotten a 64, 66, and 74 on my tests. You must read the book and go to class for iClicker points. Everything in her class is weighted equally.

Do not take bioscience 2 with her! I did very well in bioscience 1 and I am scared I will not pass this class. Her tests consists of all application questions. You need to read every detail in the book because her lectures do not help. She has cut class early many times because her throat always hurts and says "Umm" at least once in every sentence.

Dr. Sharma is wonderful to listen to. She definitely shows an interest in biology. The course itself is difficult, but the amount of material that is required is overwhelming in itself if you aren't taking a full course load. She does try to make sure that everyone understands what she is talking about as she is explaining things.

For a core credit bio class, it was too in depth. The tests never matched what was in the huge expensive textbook, or what she lectured about in class. A quick comment might make up 3-4 test questions and if you didn't catch it, good luck. Studied for tests weeks ahead and still never made higher than a B+.

I appreciated Dr. Sharma. She was willing to listen and was always ready to help me. The class was a little tough, but it is a lot of information they are required to teach and if you fall behind or miss too many classes, your grade will reflect that.

Sharma's AIS course is SO easy. You could easily make an A by just showing up (5% of grade is attendance, as with all AIS courses) and listening every once in a while. She's very very sweet, but also very quiet and sometimes confusing on when she wants things due. Ask for help, and she will clarify. Don't bother buying the workbook.

The only way to pass this class is to actually attend class. Attendance is worth 30% of your grade. Exams are worth 10%. Her exams are NOTHING like the reviews she posts. I study for days, I know the whole review, and I get a 72. Nobody passes her exams. Each exam has an average failing grade. You HAVE to read the textbook.

Dr. Sharma is very quiet and avoids questions that her students ask her. She attempts to lecture but you have to read the AIS chapters on your own in order to pass your tests. There is a lot of pointless homework but it is a pretty easy A as long as you do all of the work.

Dr. Sharma talks very quietly and her lectures are extremely monotone. I've had to basically teach myself because her lectures tend to be a little all over the place. Also, while she allows you 3 attempts for quizzes, you cannot see what grade you received or what questions you got wrong until after the quiz is due.

One of the worst professors I've had. Made me hate biology. She speaks in a quiet, monotone voice. The whole class she READS her slides. The only reason I go is for the iClicker questions. You have to teach yourself the material and read the book. Also, all her test questions are taken from a test bank and because of that memorization was key.

Although Professor Sharma is a very nice lady once you speak to her one-on-one, the reality is she's not so good of a professor. Her lecture powerpoints are straight out of the book which is fine, but the content she lectures has no correlation with exam questions. Read the book. As for her exams, some are test bank and some are not. Steer clear.

She does not allow enough time to read them over or even copy them down and only posts maybe 5 or 6 slides out of 50 or so from each chapter for some reason. What she actually talks about does not correlate with the slides and sometimes just confuses the class more. Do not take unless you can teach yourself the material.
