Easy professor in Biology, guys. Tests are not hard at all, they are based on lecture notes. Easy A :) However, I don't know why she didn't make mastering homework on the end of the semester. She made a due dates and changed them further, and she repeated until the end of semester. Funny huh!!!

I’m very blessed for taking this class. She is very knowledgeable and very helpful. She can easily read ur face and know if u r struggling. Believe me I’m a person who used to hate biology, thanks to her I start to enjoy it. She gives a lot of extra credits so you will never fail the class. Very friendly, she is just a sweetheart.

Kathy Carver. Really sweet, kind and funny teacher. She's only mean if you're disrespectful to her in class (ie talking, cheating, etc.). She's REALLY helpful and does her best to go out of her way to meet up with you (since her office is not on campus). Tons of extra credit so if you're struggling in this class, I highly suggest you take it.

Dr. Carver is a warm and smart professor all the students like her a lot even those who get bad grades She really work hard on explaining each slide when it s just reading she stop and told you well this slide you just have to read it but will not hesitate to explain any slide and encourage each student to ask questions and she never ignore any C

I had her for lab with another lecture professor but she is a great teacher willing to help the student who participate and show her interest. If you sit there and slack she will not give you extra help. Labs are easy. She has an accent which sometimes conflicts with teaching but she is willing to repeat if there is any misunderstanding.

She is very amazing doctor who seems to understand her students when the studying is getting tough, and can assist if you put effort in your work. I really enjoyed her lab class last semester and wish to have her again.

I took Prof Carver in 2013 I really did not enjoy her a lot as she left got one month after Her mom s passed away.... We really missed her put substitute teacher was not as good and pass her times complaining, we were all happy to have Professor Carver back , once back she worked really hard to makes us catch up. Glad she was able to be back.

all our accelerated program student get A and B except 2 students who they never participate and Dr carver tried her best to pull them up. I was not really into writing a review about this teacher but I did approach her after a miss-communication with her and get amazed how truly she is a very nice teacher. do not get intimidated by any ad review she is as all the reviews said AN AMAZING PROFESSOR. Take her without any hesitation.

At first Dr. Carver may seem intimidating and "rude" However, she is actually kind and enthusiastic about what she is teaching. The only thing that I don't like about the class is that there is WAYYY too much to learn in little time. Her lectures are about 80 slides each which adds up to a lot to study. She does not curve the tests either

Professor Carvrr was amazing at helping me understand many of the tougher concepts. She gave great advice on how to study and give so many tricks on how to memorize things but first she explained very well Each concept and making it so easy to understand and therefore to memorize.

This is my second time taking this course and as compared to my previous Instructor, this Prof. Knows her staffs amd will help you succeed. Listen you her explanation, do not miss any assignments and please be on time and read know what you are going to do during her labs ask Qs all the time and she will guide you. Mrs. Carver is one of the top professors that you will have her exams and quizzes are online but open only for 24 hrs. You missed the due date you do not get the chance to re-take the exam.
