Dr. Morris is the most interesting professor I have had at UGA so far. She makes you want to listen through her manner of speaking. We got separated into groups the second week of class and there's lots of work that is done in those groups. Tests are cake if you pay attention in class and she drops a ton of grades, so there's some room there.

Her lectures are super interesting. Make sure you go to class because she takes attendance on TopHat and it counts for 10% of your grade. Make sure you take notes and read the chapters, and you should be fine on the tests-- she does not try to trick you. Overall loved this class and would absolutely take it again.

Dr. Morris is one of the most interesting lecturers I've had in psych here at UGA. She's prepared, caring, willing, & respectful towards her students. Take this class if you don't plan on skipping. Read textbook b4 tests. Her tests can be tricky so study well and study every resource she gives you!!

Dr. Morris is an excellent professor and her passion for teaching is visible during class. She creates a comfortable and pleasant learning environment, despite the subject matter, and is respectful towards her students. Her class was one of the more interesting classes that I have taken in a while.

This was one of my favorite classes I've taken at UGA. Ms. Morris is so sweet and her lectures are very interesting which helps keep you engaged. Make sure you go to class though cause you get participation created for answering the turning point questions and turning in any assignments. If you get a chance to take one of her classes do it!!

I LOVEDDDDD DR. MORRIS' class!!! She is literally one of the best lecturers at UGA, and she honestly made me want to minor in psychology!! Her class is super easy, and she is always willing to answer any questions you have. She will help you through extra credit. If you get the opportunity, TAKE HER CLASS!! I repeat, TAKE HER CLASS!!!

I absolutely loved Dr. Morris!! Despite the sometimes awkward class material, she truly makes everything engaging and enjoyable. In the online setting due to COVID-19, she was just as funny and understanding even with all the uncertainty. Tests are relatively easy if you study and there are two easy papers. Useful class and really awesome prof!!

One of my fav professors at UGA! Human sexuality can be an awkward class, but Morris makes every lecture enjoyable & relatable. She's incredibly organized, which I esp. appreciated during online classes (bc of the pandemic). Just a few tests & 2 papers. She does an amazing job of creating a safe space for students to learn & be themselves!

Definitely my favorite class I've taken at UGA. As long as you attend lectures (uses TopHat) and read the assigned chapters, every test is an easy A. She is very knowledgeable on the subject and makes lectures interesting. I was always excited to come to class. She was also very understanding during COVID mess. You will learn so much, I promise!!

Dr. Morris was my very first professor at UGA, and she really set the bar high. I loved how passionate she was about the subject, and it made the class a lot more enjoyable to come to. She is very understanding and kind, and overall, I would highly recommend you take her class!

Professor Morris is amazing! She is so kind and respectful and makes the class super interesting! She makes uncomfortable topics normal! Textbook/homework is on tophat and you only have lecture once a week. In class participation assignments so you definitely need to go for credit but it's only once a week. Such a good class; you learn so much!

Dr. Kacy Morris was very knowledgeable on the subject and made these seemingly taboo topics really interesting. The class was actually applicable to future life so I was always interested. About 7 tests, chapter readings, 3 very short papers, and mandatory attendance on zooms.

Would definitely take this class again. Attendance over zoom was mandatory, but she also gave us the option to show up two different days. Was really understanding and knowledgeable and was always available to talk to/ask questions. Great class, not too much work either.

Even though my class was at 9am, I always managed to get out of bed and onto zoom because I knew class would be entertaining and interesting. She's very straightforward, understanding, and relatable, making her class easy even though it covers difficult content. READ THE TEXTBOOK. I made A's on almost every test because of it. Completely online.

I loved Professor Morris, she was an amazing teacher and a really great person in general. She made the class so interesting, and the activities were fun as well. She is always willing to help anyone and makes class enjoyable. Her tests aren't too hard if you pay attention and she gives great feedback. I highly recommend human sexuality to anyone.

Her tests are for sure lecture-heavy, and she doesn't post slides -- so attendance is mandatory. She's super nice and makes listening to lectures enjoyable, but she does talk super fast so make sure to write fast or take pictures of the slides. The textbook is required, but she gives you a link for a free digital version which is a plus.

Dr. Morris is an AMAZING professor. Her lectures are very interesting and thorough. Each module she provides a Kahoot review before the exam. She does participation credit almost every class. She has a fair amount of reading checks, but the textbook is online and free. Overall, she is an amazing woman, and I would recommend her to anyone.

I can't write enough good things about her! Just take notes and listen during lectures and you'll get 100s on the test. She's super open and helpful and understanding with students. She gave us multiple days off of class for breaks. There is an occasional homework assignment or reading quiz but they're never hard. Overall easy A and great professor

Mrs. Morris is an exceptional teacher at the University of Georgia. Her lectures were easy to understand and she really cares about each and everyone of her students giving the resources they need. I signed up for another class taught by her in the fall simply because she is teaching it. Highly recommend.

This class was such a blast, it definitely made school during COVID much better. You do get a participation grade every day, but you'll want to show up anyways. There's a test every 2 weeks, but they're usually straightforward (lowest I got was a 93). There's also a few tiny papers, but they're essentially completion grades. Take this class!

Dr. Morris is such a good professor. She puts a lot of care and effort into her lectures and provides plenty of examples and hands-on experiences to cement the material. She also really cares about her students and wants to help them succeed. I wouldnt be surprised if I take a psych class in the future just because I see shes the one teaching it.

Professor Morris is very nice and her lectures are super interesting and fun. The material is interesting and the tests are easy if you study. The tests are a lot of definitions so if you don't study you won't do the best. You get participation points for going to class and the homework is easy.

I had Dr. Morris for 1101 and had to take her again. She is an amazing public speaker and really makes you want to pay attention. There's a fair (yet manageable) amount of work for the class. Exams are really tough, but doable if you read the textbook and come to class. She really cares about her students and wants us to do well.

Even though this was a 300 person lecture hall type class, Dr. Morris very obviously cared about her students, but there was a fair bit of busywork, like required textbook readings, but I think that was a fair price to pay for such an amazing instructor.

Dr. Morris lectures are entertaining and have structured notes, making it really easy to learn. The homework she gives out are usually study plans which are really easy to do and actually helpful if you read them. If you go to class consistently and read the study plans the class is a pretty easy A.

Professor Morris is a great teacher and tries her best to make the information interesting. The textbook is online and there is multiple assignments due on it throughout the week. There's 5 exams that are about 40 multiple choice questions. Every grade counts in this class so you have to be proactive. She is very eager to help if you reach out!

Dr. Morris gave very interesting lectures and kept the class interesting. If you study the main terms you go over in class then the tests become very easy. Most of the homework is just participation grades, and sometimes she took attendance for a grade. I would highly recommend Dr. Morris.

You also have to volunteer 6.5 hours for research studies, which was quite annoying. I used quizlet to study for all tests, but some of the questions can be quite tricky. Take her.

Professor Morris is one of my favorite professors at UGA. I had her two semesters ago and decided to take her again last semester for human sexuality. While the class was very interesting, professor Morris is very strict about grades and does not budge them even in a family emergency case. Make sure you have what you need no matter what happens.

She was one of my favorite profs so far. She always made class fun with her personal stories and jokes. All of the tests were extremely straight forward and all of the homework assignments were able to be done pretty quickly. She also gave extra credit in fun ways. You're going to love this class and professor!

While the tests do count for a large majority of your grade, the online textbook study plans are a lifesaver if you take the time to go over them before tests. All of the tests are multiple-choice, and most of the test material is covered in the study plans. I received A's on all of my tests using the online site alone.

Dr. Morris is a great professor who makes the content interesting and digestable. If you skip class one too many times, it really messes with your grade. Just show up, and study for tests. (No cumulative finals!)

I really enjoyed this class. She was funny and gave good lectures. It was a lot of textbook reading and taking notes outside of class. Also, the Kahoot reviews were so helpful before the tests. But just make sure you study your textbook notes too.

I always left this class with a smile. Morris makes a sexuality class comfortable and entertaining. Beware of mandatory attendance. Tests are either straight from the notes or random sentences in the textbook (so grades can kind of be a hit or miss). Everything else graded is pretty straight forward. Overall, this class was very enjoyable!

4 tests, a few documentaries, one project and a few assignments. One of the best teachers I've ever had! Our special topic of psych was LGBTQ psych and seriously was the best class I've taken. Amazing content, great lectures, straight-forward tests and assignments. TAKE HER!

Dr. Morris genuinely made this class so enjoyable. I bragged to my peers telling them how fun and interesting it was, and Dr. Morris does an amazing job at teaching in ways that I felt appealed to college aged students in the best ways. I will absolutely jump at the opportunity to have Dr. Morris as a professor again. TAKE HER CLASS!!!

Kacy's Human Sexuality Seminar is just as good as her Human Sexuality lecture if not better. The class is 100% discussion, so no boring lectures. The content is interesting to discuss, and the time goes by quickly because of the conversations. Lots of reading though, and you can't miss more than 3 classes. Easy A with effort and participation.

Brilliant and passionate. It's really unique and interesting subject matter. Dr. Morris carries conversations well and is very concerned with ensuring everyone is comfortable during discussions and lectures. Overall super easy class. Mostly completion-based hw and papers. Study from the textbook and lectures to do well on tests. Easy to get an A.

The special topic for my section was LGBTQ Psych, and she is very knowledgeable in this area! Super passionate about this subject and made the class fun to attend. She did not post her PowerPoints so if you want to do well either go to class or find someone who takes really good notes!

One of the best profs I've had! If you ever take PSYC, take HER! The easiest class I've taken at UGA, and I enjoyed every second of it. Morris knows how to get you interested in psychology. If you read through the textbook and do the practice questions, you're pretty much set to get perfect scores on the tests. Also, GO TO ALL LECTURES!

Really amazing professor, funny, and their lectures are relatable and hilarious. For attendance we got to miss 5 classes before it started affecting our grades. Tests are multiple-choice and you have a lot of assignments in case you do not do so well on your tests.

Dr. Morris is such a great professor! Interesting lectures, she's very funny, easy class, extra credit opportunities. Lots of reading and you need to go to the lectures to get important notes and information. Participation credit is a chunk of your grade. Amazing class and professor!

Super enjoyable class!! Fair assignments & good/funny lectures. However, tests are VERY specific. No matter how much I study, there's always a few questions I just don't know bc of how specific some of the questions can be/amount of content to study. Check rubrics on assignments bc they will be graded very specifically as well!!

As long as you read the online textbook that she tells you to get in the beginning (which is where u also take the quizzes) youll be fine. Its quite a bit of reading but its not too bad. Shes also very engaging during lectures.

Kacy Morris has engaging lectures and presents the material well. I personally think some of her lectures were biased, but she followed the online textbook closely other than that. You definitely need to read the modules to do well on the tests. Attendance matters and to do well you need to be in class. She lets you makeup tests if you need miss.

Dr. Morris makes a large 300 person lecture really entertaining and easy to follow. Her lecture style is well organized and really informative. She's super relatable and always has funny stories to tell. Her tests are fairly easy if you take notes in class. She's super caring and is friendly and understanding. Definitely take her PSYC 1101 class!

I LOVE HER! Her lectures are incredibly organized and you'll never be confused about any deadlines or assignments. There's a good bit of reading and chapter quizzes but its not too bad. Make sure to keep up (especially for the 3rd midterm) because it is a lot of memorization. Overall though, she is a straight W. GO TO OFFICE HOURS.

Take her!! Best professor so far. The tests are pretty much from the lecture or overlap with the textbook. No trick questions (35-50 MC). I had 5 tests, however, 3 "quizzes" (open note reading checks online) were dropped and 3 participation grades were dropped. 4 of the 5 tests had extra credit.

Best professor ever. This class was challenging. There is lots of reading and memorization, but it is very manageable. Her tests are all multiple-choice and fairly easy if you do the readings and take notes on her lectures. You can miss 3 classes, but you want to go to her lectures since she is so amazing!

Dr. Morris was a great professor. HEr lectures were extremely easy to follow and the exams were not too bad as long as you did the module quizzes and studied the slides. Overall fun class.

Psychology is a difficult subject in general with lots of vocabulary, and this is why I struggled. It had nothing to do with Morris. She's great, super funny, engaging, and very respectful. She really wants you to succeed. The class consists of daily lectures and the occasional fun activity. Participation is a grade, so you have to go to class.

I took this class during Thrive. I loved Professor Morris so much! She is such a genuinely caring person and wants you to do well. The readings were all online and there were online quizzes based off the reading. I studied for the tests based off of the lectures and the vocab from the readings and did well. We didn't have a final. Take this class!!

Amazing professor with amazing lectures. Fun homework assignments and very knowledgeable. Dr. Morris is very lively and energetic during every lecture, and her joy is infectious. The tests are long but not hard. Dr. Morris treated every student with respect especially during the sexuality chapter. Textbook can have too much info, however.

Amazing class. You have several grades dropped, and extra credit opportunity for each exam. She makes her class fun and engaging. There is some group work but not too many. Psych book is on ELC and free, and quizzes on them are easy to pass. Exams are multiple choice, as long as you know vocab and do practice qa you should be fine.

Take Morris for psychology 1101 if possible. Attendance is mandatory but lectures are interesting and there are 5 tests worth 15% each. If you study the terms before each test it is an easy A.

SUCH A GREAT CLASS!!! Dr. Morris is awesome and genuinely cares about her students. Attendance was mandatory. She uses tophat attendance questions, a few assignments, questions from textbook chapters, two discussion posts, and a few unit tests for grades. Everything was pretty easy but exams are very specific, definitely do the readings.

I took this as a sophomore and hated it because we were required to sit in assigned seats the entire year. Seemed like a freshman thing to make friends. Class was fine, attendance taken randomly, so many quizzes to be taken for hw, tests were long but if you studied lecture and book material you were fine. Just a lot of info

One of the best teachers I've ever had. AMAZING AND ENGAGING LECTURES. I was always excited to go to class and the 50 minutes always zoomed by. Tests aren't too difficult, all multiple choice. If you read the textbook and pay attention during lectures, there really shouldn't be much difficulty getting an A or an A-. TAKE HER COURSES!

Dr. Morris was the best teacher I have ever had! She was extremely passionate and made everything make sense. I strongly recommend writing everything down from her slides and taking good textbook notes because those definition's are what she bases her tests on. If your looking for a class with little work, I do not recommend this class!

I really enjoyed taking this class; however, reading is extremely necessary. The tests were very hard, and reading all the content from lectures and textbooks was necessary to be prepared for the niche questions on the test. On the other hand, the lectures were very informative and well done, and for a 9 am class, I was always excited to attend.

Favorite professor so far! Her lectures are amazing and so engaging. I'm always excited to come to her class. Only downside is the amount of reading you have to do in order to do well on her tests, which are a bit tricky. All in all, she's a great prof and is super passionate about her class.

I absolutely love Dr. Morris's style of teaching and enjoyed every lecture. Class is reading heavy with online textbook, but as long as you read/study you will easily pass! Lectures are never boring and so come to class, she gives lots of interesting info during it. Have a question or concern? Ask her anything! She's very approachable and kind.

Professor Morris is really passionate about the course material which definitely makes the class interesting, but you probably want to find a different class if you are squeamish. Also, it is doable to get an A, but you need to be ready to set aside some time each week to review the course material.

This course was SO interesting and fun! It was worth waking up early for. Test material was SUPER clear on what we should study. Homework was easy A's as long as you did what's expected, but criteria is very clear. I really enjoyed this class, and Dr. Morris made talking about these sensitive topics really comfortable, normal and interesting.

I adored Dr. Morris! Her lectures were so good, I never wanted to miss class. She never shied away from sensitive topics, and made uncomfortable ones very funny. Getting a good grade is not difficult as long as you do the readings and actually go to class. Her tests can be very specific, but as long as you make an effort you should do well.

She was an amazing lecturer. I actually enjoyed coming to her class despite it being at 9 in the morning The only downside I would say would be her tests. Some of her questions would be very specific or were worded poorly. Alot of material to cover. Other than that she was caring and even offered extra credit ( 1 whole point added onto final grade)

The class was overall easy, but there was a fair amount of work. She is a tougher grader than you might think, but not bad. Just make sure you don't miss any tests, because each test was worth 12.5% of your grade.

The homework can be lengthy, but is helpful in the end. She has very interesting and helpful lectures. The exams aren't that bad if you study in advance, but they cover a lot of material.

Really awesome professor. Cares a lot about her material and would provide any level of help someone needs. Tests are all multiple choice and come straight from the TB. A lot of material (~30-50 Q's per test), but most of it is intuitive or really easy to memorize. Easy A as long as you read/pay attention.

TAKE HER. Second class I've had with her- she's incredible. Participation = 10%, HW = 10%, 2 papers = 20%, 4 exams =15% each. Need Topcoat subscription and actually need to read the textbook. Class isn't an easy A, but if you study the lecture notes and readings, you'll do great. Encourages discussion and amazing person. Can't recommend her enough.

Dr. Kacy is AMAZING. They teach really well and know the material well! The class is very textbook heavy, but it's psychology so it's expected to have some homework. But Dr. Kacy doesn't overload you with homework and the material is alr easy to learn. The exams are easy if you study and pay attention, amazing lecturer for elementary psychology!!

Such a good professor! She teaches the class so well, and makes it so engaging. I enjoyed her class thoroughly, she made me so interested in PSYCH.

She's very funny and an entertaining professor; you can tell that she loves teaching. If you're thinking about taking Human Sexuality definitely do. She uses tophat and attendance is taken but its not mandatory to show up in person; just know that she doesn't post the slides to the course page. There are writing assignments, but they are not bad.

Outstanding professor - the most passionate, energetic, and interesting you'll ever meet. She cares a lot, and her class is extremely engaging. Half of the content is covered in class on slides which aren't posted online, and the other half is in an online textbook. Not much homework, 5 tests, no final, and it's all very easy.

LGBTQ Psych with Dr. Morris is AMAZING! Such a great lecturer, class was always so interesting & fun. Tests are short answer/multiple choice, you have to study but they're not bad. You get a LOT of participation grades on menti and stuff, so make sure to go to class. The group project was rough because my group was bad lol. Take her!!!!

The teacher was great and really cared about us. However, she gives little to no mercy for assignments and extra credit. You must read and pay attention to get a good grade in the class.

I could not be more thankful I had Prof. Morris as my Psych Prof. She was an outstanding teacher and I cannot recommend her enough. There are 5 exams for the class and no cumulative final. This class has a lot of material but she presents it very well and the assigned readings aren't bad as long as you keep up with them. Great class and great Prof!

i would say the assignments and homework are easy. the only things are make sure to attend class bc she does not post the slides on ELC. also, the tests are pretty difficult, study a lot and read the textbook. a lot of the test questions are not straight forward, so maybe going to office hours and reviewing what u got wrong on ur test will help!

I LOVED this class, and I looked forward to it every time. Dr. Morris was so engaging, and funny, and she made this class fun to learn. All of her lectures were very organized and every assignment was very clear. However, tests were not the easiest for me because there was a lot of material to cover, and they are worth a lot of our total grade.

Dr. Morris was a fantastic professor to have for my first semester at UGA. She is caring and very educated on the topic. Her lectures are engaging, but there is a lot of information in them. Attendance is mandatory. You won't do well on the 5 tests if you don't go to class. Studying the notes from class is a really great way to study!

I loved this class, it was super entertaining and was so worth it even though it was at 9 AM. That said, her tests were difficult to study for, and many questions could have multiple answers. This class was worth it though, I learned a lot and am sad it is over.

This class is my favorite I have ever taken. I do not mind waking up for a 9:10 morning class and that is saying something. Attendance is required but Professor Morris has amazing lectures; always insightful, material that is said will be on the tests, and keeps class interesting (humorous). Definitely not an easy A, but definitely not difficult.

Her lectures are great, interesting and very informational! She's very knowledgeable and interested in what she's teaching! If you pay attention in class and read over the chapters assigned on Tophat you'll do good on the tests!

I found her test an average level of difficulty; they're open notes if I remember correctly. She keeps it interesting and she keeps the vibes up. Sometimes she gets us candy. Professor Morris has had held my favorite lectures so far at UGA. She made waking up for the 9:10 class much less miserable. Professor Morris' lectures were so interesting and engaging. She is so funny and is my favorite professor I have taken here. Her study guides are very helpful in preparing for the test. Amazing class, take it if you can. She is so fun and the material is so relevant. Tests are difficult but she is very helpful if you go to office hours, and your grade is based off other assignments too. You can talk to her about anything and she really cares about her students. Goes above and beyond when teaching and class is very memorable.

I loved this class!! Dr. Morris is super passionate and her lectures were funny and engaging. The criteria is clear. as long as you're willing to dedicate time to read and study you'll do fine. You can get up two two whole points of extra credit added onto your final grade. Attendance is mandatory but you can get away with skipping.

I took this class over summer. Loved Dr. Morris, she made the class doable. We got unlimited attempts for the quizzes and unlimited attempts on TopHat since the class was online. Unfortunately, for the summer semester, to obtain the 6.5 required research study credits, it was kinda hard but that is the only downside. Would take her again :)

I loved Dr. Morris. Her lectures were interesting and attention grabbing. She made it funny and let us know days in advance when work was due. also provided review games during class. Super likable and she's the best. If psych is not your thing and you're just taking it for requirements (or is your thing), TAKE HER CLASS.

This was such an easy class because of Dr. Morris. Her presentations were very engaging and she directly takes things from them for exams. She doesn't post the lectures so you have to go to class. Highly recommend, no cumulative final

Love Dr. Morris! She is a very bubbly teacher who knows what shes doing. Take notes in class, as well as take notes in the reading assignments. It's not that bad, but the reading info can show up on tests. I find this course super intersting and would love to take a class with her again.

Love her! She is very passionate and knowledgeable about what she is talking about. The class and her teaching method is entertaining and engaging. She gives extra credit for each test, but it is only one extra point. There are a lot of online readings that take some time. Take good noted in class and over the readings and you'll be fine.

TAKE DR.MORRIS!! She is an amazing professor. She makes the lectures super relatable and funny. The homework assignments are super easy. There are 5 exams each weighted 14% and are not that difficult but you definitely need to know your stuff and study a lot beforehand. Overall amazing class!

Dr. Morris was incredibly enthusiastic, a great lecturer, cares about her students and is very charismatic. I wish I could have a professor like her for all my classes. Attendance isn't required but her slides aren't posted which is the only way to get notes. Frequent group work (with random groups) with one big project at the end of the semester.

Dr. Morris gives the most entertaining lectures. Along with being hilarious and informative, she strives to make the content applicable to college/student life. You have to pay for Tophat, but that's all in terms of materials. The assignments from Tophat are so easy and bring your grade up; however, the tests are a little more difficult. Take her!

amazing professor, probably my favorite at uga! very sweet and understanding person. shes knowledgeable and passionate about course material and makes lectures engaging! exams are relatively easy, all the info on exams comes from lecture slides that aren't posted online so you have to go to class or message a friend in the class to get the info.

Prof Kacy is super caring about her students! Her lectures are super engaging and interesting. The homework readings are on TopHat, and there are 4 exams. Everything you need to know she outlines in her section outcomes, so you will always know what's on the test. I totally recommend taking this class!

Mrs. Morris has the most interesting lectures and I wish I could take her next semester! There is a little bit of studying required and there's some reading every few weeks but it's not necessary. TAKE HER!!!!

I LOVED THIS CLASS!! She is a great teacher and loves teaching psychology. The lectures are very interesting and the class always go by super fast. There are a good bit of notes that are important for the test, but the reading is super easy to understand. The tests are not hard at all as long as you study the notes and understand the concepts.

Dr. Morris is amazing! attendance is checked through tophat, but she drops five participation grades and your three lowest homework grades. lectures/slides are really easy to understand and test are pretty easy (30-50 mcq) if you just study and do the readings. there are also extra credit opportunities. take her, she's the absolute best!!!

I LOVE DR. MORRIS. I only had to take this intro psych class to prepare for the MCAT, but I fell in love with psychology because of her. She cares about her students and really loves what she teaches. the class isn't super hard as long as you go over your notes every once and a while. making quizlets before tests is the best way to succeed.

Her tests are multiple-choice and very easy if you just review your notes once the night before. Write down everything from the slides since the tests are directly from her lecture material. She also gives extra credit for each test. 10/10 would take again!

Professor Morris' lectures are engaging and insightful. While the class isn't an easy A, the content is interesting, and with dedication, you can succeed. unstuck study was a game-changer for my study prep.

Morris made psychology one of the most interesting topics I have studied so far. Her lectures were super engaging and interesting. For each topic she had fun and unique exorcises to help with understanding the material. Exams are multiple choice and are not too difficult. As long as you take notes and sufficiently study beforehand, you'll do great.

Definitely not an easy A, very content heavy but as long as you go to lectures and read the textbook you'll be fine.

this class is TopHat heavy but an A is very much doable! she has pop-up questions on TopHat for attendance. i had her at 9:10 but was excited to wake up and walk outside in the cold to attend her class, so that's saying a lot. amazing lecturer and super funny but don't assume that this'll be an easy A. make sure you read and do the assignments!!

Amazing professor who's passionate about her field, and talented in giving engaging lectures. Very reliant on Top-Hat for homework (assigned readings). An A is attainable as long as you take good notes and complete assigned readings. Tests are all MCQ-based and fairly easy. Fun group activities, but groups are assigned.

She was great!! Would recommend her times 1000. She does have extra credit which is helpful for the class, the content wasn't difficult and all of the material is either in the lecture slides or Tophat assignments. Attendance is mandatory and notes help with studying for the test.

I loved having Professor Morris! She was so engaging and very passionate about all the material. There are 5 exams and her pass rates are pretty high on all of them. You can tell she loves what she teaches and makes it interactive almost every class period. There are some extra credit opportunities, but not for many points. I definitely recommend!!

Professor Morris is very caring, and I enjoyed the structure of her class. The lectures were overall interesting, and she provided hands-on examples to make the class fun. She gives a lot of extra credit, and the class isn't too work-heavy. I would recommend this as an easy class, as long as you do the work.

The best teacher I have ever had in my entire life! The online website helps us stay engaged, and she gives an example for absolutely every single term/topic. She relates it to not just one type of person but all types of college students. Group work is to get you to know peers, but it's simple work. I didn't do well, but it is my fault. I LOVED IT

I enjoyed Morris's class. Her lectures covered basically everything on the tests, and everything is on tophat is well. There's a lot of content though so definitely study for tests. If you study well for tests, come to class, and complete the assignments and tophat questions, you should at least get a B

Best professor ever, best class ever I miss it every day. The content and the way it is taught is extremely interesting. Dr. Morris really did a phenomenal job with this course and i would take it every semester if i could. The tests can be a little difficult but only if you don't read the textbook (which is also interesting)

Kacy Morris is a great teacher who gives very interesting lectures and is an expert in her subject. The class is made very easy for her and she is one of the best teachers I have had so far at the University of Georgia.

Don't let the other reviews scare you! She gives a list of learning objectives to study for each exam. I turned them into a study guide (and you have the answers to everything word for word in your notes) and I got a 100 on the first test and a 95 on the second! (Not done w/ the class yet). Just take time to study a little and you'll be great:)

some writing assignments but shes not a tough grader as long as you share a valid opinion. the class is so interesting and she's super educated. just complete the top hat assignments and read all notes before exams and you will do good

Dr. Morris is an amazing professor. She is funny and keeps all the lectures interesting. Attendance is mandatory and taken everyday but 5 excused/unexcused absences are allowed. The tests can be worded strangely but as long as you show up and reach through/fill out the course objectives, you'll be ok.

My favorite professor by far!! She is so caring, and you can tell she is passionate about what she teaches. Her lectured were always engaging, and she gives very few homework assignments that take do not take a lot of time. She gives very specific points to study for the test, and if you know those, you will 100% make an A on every test. TAKE HER

I loved Professor Morris. She was very knowledgable about the information in class. Attendance is mandatory but you get 5 absences per semester. The tests are slightly challenging, but she gives you specific learning objectives for each exam, and if you know those, you will do good on the exams.

I seriously could not recommend Dr. Morris enough. Her lectures were so interesting and made me actually want to come to my 9:10 class. She is very knowledgeable in her field of study and makes class super fun and worthwhile. The tests were not hard and as long as you do the readings and study the learning objectives, you should get an A.

Cannot recommend Dr. Morris enough! Her lectures are absolutely amazing, but if you miss one, you will have to ask someone for notes since she doesn't post her slides. You'll only pay for Tophat, and there are very few homework assignments. She's also just really funny and very approachable—10/10 class and professor.

Amazing professor, very approachable and hilarious when lecturing. It's important you go to class, but she drops your lowest 5 attendance grades. Lectures cover exactly what's on the exams, there's minimal homework (like one assignment a week), and plenty of extra credit opportunities.

Loved coming for lecture for this class, I liked her quicker pace in speech! Attendance is graded & lots of content is learned during lecture so its not great to skip (tho 5 attendance grades are dropped). The textbook is just fine and other than assigned reading, can explain things said in lectures that you missed. Tests were easy multiple-choice.

LOVE HER!!! The class is very assignment and reading-heavy, but the readings are very interesting, so I never had a problem with the homework. The assignments are not too difficult, and there are no tests/exams. Definitely cares about her students.

She teaches the topic very well and avoids awkwardness. Make sure you go to class since she doesn't provide copies of slides if you miss. Posts study guides that actually match the tests. The syllabus accurately represents the class. This class has been the best class I've ever taken and it's because of her.

She is very knowledgeable about her subject and clearly enjoys it and wants students to enjoy it. She puts a big emphasis on inclusion and respecting everybody and different opinions. There are lots of reading assignments and she does require attendance but it's an enjoyable class. I would definitely take her class again.

So good and her class was easy. As a first semester freshman this was such an easy class to ease into college. She is kind and has such a good teaching schedule.

Morris was great! She is so funny and a great lecturer, who really explains all of the content you need to know. Just go to class and listen to the lectures and you will be totally fine.

Psych covers a lot of topics that can be "controversial" or uncomfortable, and Dr. Morris teaches them in a way that feels unbiased, mature, and concise. Has a great way of keeping the class engaged and works humorous bits into lectures. Super levelheaded and prefaces that the things she teaches are not opinion based, rather textbook requirements.

She was a very good professor, and the class was super easy. You do have to go to class and she uses top hat with the location feature.

The exams are mainly on what is lectured. She talks quick.

I would highly recommend this class. Professor Morris is very lecture-heavy and there are alot of reading homeworks but those are so easy. There are a lot of serious topics in the course but she manages to handle them with a science-based and mature manner while also cracking a couple of jokes. Easy class to pass if you show up and do the work.

Her exams were based off lectures and readings from the homework assignment that are assigned on top hat. If you study that material, you will get an A on all the exams! You're randomly assigned groups who you sit with for the whole semester and do work with. Required: 6hr of participation in psych study credit, or your grade drops 1 letter grade!

She was honestly a great professor for psych 1101. She knows the material very well, and her stories are fun to listen to. The tests weigh a ton so you have to prepare well for them. But besides that, pretty easy class. I would take it again.

Everyone should take psych with Dr. Morris. She's really funny and tries her best to make lectures engaging. She also uses a lot of anecdotes to show how what you're learning applies outside the classroom and to everyday life. I would absolutely recommend taking this course with Dr. Morris!!!

As a non-psychology major, I found the class to be genuinely interesting and I think it's fairly easy to get an A in this course if you're willing to try a little. You get a few free skips and she drops the lowest few assignments. For exams, I'd say 80-90% of the content is from the lecture slides, rest from the REQUIRED textbook sections.

This was genuinely the most interesting and engaging course I've taken at UGA. Dr. Morris was awesome and so funny. She's very knowledgeable on the subject and is always willing to answer questions. There is a good bit of out-of-class work, but as long as you stay on top of it, it's smooth sailing. I could not recommend this course enough!
