I'm still in the progress of taking her class.. but i'll just write a mini-review and than update after the semester.. SHE IS THE BEST MATH TEACHER EVER (so far) I never thought I would be able to understand calculus in my life and I came into it scared out of my mind but she is so helpful.. more helpful than any teacher I have ever had..

By far the best math teacher @ MC. Very good teacher. 11 qzs(10 pnts ea) ~can drop lowest~2 midterm/tests (100 pnts ea) and final (200 pnts). She teaches you the material and helps until you understand. Takes test questions right off the HW and QZ Tells you what to study. Grades on a curve. Tries to give her students everything they need to pass.

The best math teacher I have ever encountered. Tests and quiz questions come directly off of the homework assignments. She arrives early for every class and goes over the homework before the quiz. Very little homework compared to other math classes. She teaches lots of math tricks that make math easier. I highly recommend her class.

Really enjoys her job and wants her students to learn. Very helpful and passionate. And she has a sense of humor. Was a great teacher and she wants you to understand it. Hoping she'll teach future classes at COC.

she is the best teacher. if i had to take another math class i would pay to be able to be in hers. she explains everything really well and helps you and everything on the quizzes are straight from the homework and everything on the tests are verbatum from the quizzes. she explains every problem on the quiz before you take it. she is amazing!

She is amazing. Very helpful and funny. Teaches all you need to know for every test. problems come from the homework so if you do the homework you will know the quiz questions. also the midterms come from quiz questions so by the time you take the final you should have seen the problems at least three times. amazing teacher. take her class

Awesome teacher, makes you work for your grade but is SOO helpful and really cares. She laugh's really hard sometimes at random things and it's just funny to watch her. GREAT TEACHER! TAKE HER!!

Best math teacher I have ever had. I have taken algebra many times and never understood it, I hated it! She has a great way of teaching to make you understand it and enjoy it. Just show up and act like you are in college. I got an A and I used to suck at math.

AMAZING! explains things perfectly & she even gives you extra credit on occasion! buddy quizzes & group problems. i HIGHLY reccomend this class. it was easy because she explains things so well, but you still have to work for it! she is also funny and has a great personality. understanding if you have to miss class and she'll let you make up a quiz.

You are a fool if you do not take this class. EASY A! But she is also a GREAT PROFESSOR, and I feel very prepared for M25A Calculus. Very enjoyable to attend class, she has a very funny sense of humor. HOMEWORK NOT COLLECTED (but you are expected to do it, and its worth it to do, trust me) and it's only like 10 problems per section!

I would honestly say that she makes Math interesting. And this is coming from a student that does not enjoy math at the very least.She is extremely helpful and will answers all your questions. She goes over what will be on the quizzes and exams and is there early in class for you to ask questions

prof d is awesome. shes a great teacher.dont talk when shes teaching, she'll get pissed and single you out. overall a really good class. quiz questions are straight off the (not mandatory) homework, test questions are straight off of the quizzes, and midterm and final questions are straight off of the tests.if that makes sense. I've taken her classes from M03 (Inter. Algebra) to M25(Analy. Calc). Before taking her classes i was doing miserable in Math, and now am extremely knowledgeable in the subject. She has a passion for what she does and for people who want to learn. The best thing about her is she is willing to break apart problems into basic steps.

TAKE HER!! It's a tough subject but she wants you to succeed so she takes her time helping you understand the concept rather than just expecting you to learn it on your own. Homework isn't mandatory but quizzes from homework and exam from quizzes! Stupid not to take her!!

Calculus is not easy. It requires a lot of discipline and practice. Because of this, the teacher can either make or break the class. With that said, Kahroline is amazing! She is extremely helpful, very approachable, effective at communicating the material and she makes a tough subject interesting. I highly recommend this teacher, she's great!

diPassero is a wonderful teacher. Extremely helpful - she wants you to pass. All quizzes are on HW problems, all exams are taken from the quizzes, and the final is taken from all the exams. I'm a C student when it comes to math and I passed with an A. TAKE diPassero!

Hands down, best math teacher at MC. Her lectures are very well-organized and easy to understand. Granted, sometimes she moves a little fast --- but as long as you study the notes before attempting the HW, you'll do fine. The final is based on the exams, the exams are based on the quizzes, and the quizzes are based on the HW. Two thumbs up.

Passero cares about her students, but probably too much. She doesn't want anyone to fail so she dumbs down the class to make it happen. Her good intentions are misguided because the easiness of the class prevents students from being effectively prepared for Calc II. Enjoy the easy A, but prepare to be rudely awakened the following semester. I was.

This class is hard... math is hard, she makes it fun and is willing to provide extra help if you're willing to do the work. She's very funny and relatable. Will try to take her for any other math I need!

Got A's thru-out semester Xcept towards the end. Lectures were fast-paced and was willing to provide extra help, Xcept for when it came time for final. Going into final I had a high B; after I had a low C. Not to mention the entire semester she was buddy-buddy with my peers who got A's. I have to agree with others, don't take her.

Best thing about this teacher is that she is SUPER organized and it made it easier to learn and go back to your notes and study. Good teacher, but very impatient. She gives you sass when you ask her to explain something. You'll get a better grade if you get on her good side.

Please pay no attention to the negative comments below! Kahroline DiPassero is one of the best math teachers on this campus! She gives extra help all the time! She's willing to go the distance if you show her the effort! The people that commented below must have never been there and never asked for real help! Trust me when i say she's fantastic!!!

She is a truly great teacher! She explains everything clearly and communicates effectively. Her quizes are based on HW so do the HW and your golden. (HW not collected, just highly suggested) Exams based on quizes.They're really easy if youve practiced and did the hw!She is always willing to help and she really does care. I highly recommend her!

Great teacher. She would meet with the class an hour or two earlier than class started to help answer any problems on the hw. If you just go to class take notes do the hw and study a little bit you will pass. She is a little goofy, but in the good way. Very interesting. Attendance is mandatory if you care about your grade. Overall great teacher.

LOVE HER!!!! Best teacher i've EVER had by far! I had so much trouble in calc but was in her office every chance i got and she would gladly help me with any questions i had. We made a study group in our class and she would sometimes meet us in the library to help! Show up, do the hw, study A LOT and you will get an A. TAKE HER!

seriously one of the best teachers for math at Moorpark you could get. she knows the subject, knows how to make anyone understand it if youre willing to try, and is a genius. if you have a chance, you would appreciate having a teacher who cares a lot about the students and actually teaches well!

She is such a great teacher! She really appreciates those who are there to learn but she loves to crack jokes. She is always there to help and clarify anything that's confusing you. As long as you pay attention and are prepared for her quizzes and tests an A isn't hard to get. Go up and ask her questions if you don't get something, she helps a lot!

I love di Passero! Shes one of the best math teachers at Moorpark. She really helped me understand the material and was willing to answer questions. This is definitely NOT AN EASY A! Di passero is a great teacher! Don't get on her bad side though because she will pick on you the rest of the semester and she likes to sniff markers so don't be weirded out. Ask her any questions and she'll be more than happy to help. Take her!

Makes things seem so easy, but the tests are impossible. Very nice during lectures, extremely mean about tests and grading. Only take her if you have to. She will make you feel like you understand everything, but then she will really trick you when the tests come. Not fun.

Dont get scarred of by bad comments, im taking her because she is excellent, i started of slow in the class, a low D thought about dropping she can be intimidating shes just weeding out lazy students.Go to her office hrs she goes out of her way to help you understand, im now currently at a B, and semesters not over yet!An A is possible!

Awesome. Funny sense of humor, think mad scientist. She's so cool! Calc 25B is tough, she'll help you if you ask. She likes cats! She doesn't let you use a calc, but she keeps the algebra simple since she doesn't allow you a calculator. Highly recommend her. She gives amazing study guides which are similar to ALL her tests. Lots of review sessions.

Good at what she does, but she can be mean. a day before a test, she didnt answer my questions and i felt stressed and anxious. I had a panic attack in class, my friend informed her that that can cause me to have a seizure. when I became calm, i went outside and she looked at me and said if ur gonna have a seizure then dont come to class! wow!

I took her class online, which was not super simple, however she consistently went out of her way to help and assist me, and anyone else who was willing to ask for help. To be successful in this class, you have to respect her, and really put forth some effort into success, however she's there 100% of the way to make sure it happens.

TAKE GOOD NOTES, pay attention, ask questions, DO THE HOMEWORK, and, when possible, utilize office hours. If you do these things THERE IS NO REASON YOU SHOULDN'T EARN AN "A." She is very knowledgable about the subject, loves to teach interested students, and the class is actually quite entertaining (yes, we laughed a bit). I love this professor.

di Passero is a great teacher that makes the material as clear as possible with organized notes. Tests are not easy, but they're pretty much straight from her examples in lecture, and she's very helpful in preparing you and letting you know what to study. She's really entertaining in class too. Definitely would take her again!

she is extremely helpful if you LOOK FOR HER HELP that means office hours and doing the work. Even when I wasn't taking her for a semester she offered to help me with my current class...you just need to SHOW THAT YOU ARE INTERESTED!

Great teacher! She goes out of her way to help you. If you pay attention in class, and take good notes, it is easy to get a good grade. The tests and quizzes are pretty much straight from her lectures. She is very entertaining in class too. I would definitely take a course from her again.

Excellent teacher. Explains material clearly, and she basically tells you what's on the test the day before the test. She's a bit crazy, but if you talk to her in her office hours, she's a very nice. The final was tough, but if you go to class and pay attention, you should have no problem getting a good grade.

Definitely an entertaining mad scientist sense of humor like someone said. She has the absolute best notes ever. One of our four exams was the EXACT SAME problems from our practice exam, number for number, and another was in groups of 3. Lots of extra credit. Drops a test, drops a quiz. Extra credit added up to 7% boost to final grade. Best.

All the negative comments are from lazy students who dont want to put in a little extra work. She is the best math teacher I have ever had and has inspired me to become a math professor. You have to study a lot and go to office hours, but if you do, she will help you get the grade you want. She is absolutely fantastic. Definitely take her!

She's seriously the best college math professor I have had math class with. She makes things easy to understand and she answers all questions without almost any complaints :).

She explains everything in a way that anyone can understand & even if you don't she'll help you until you do. Speak up in class & she'll go over anything you want. HW was self-assigned & not necessary b/c her notes on the board are great, copy everything. Quizzes/tests are planned out w/dates given to you. Rewrite all quizzes for tests & final exam

I have a really hard time understanding math, but she teaches in a way that anyone can understand.She is a bit intimidating, but is honestly the best professor.Very organized and her notes are great. Exams and quizzes are completely straight forward. As long as you put in effort, you'll do great. Best math professor by far.

Most likely the easiest and best math teacher in the campus. Strongly recommend her, and also recommend that you go to her office hours if you have trouble in math. Drops your lowest test grade with your highest and everything on your final is from previous quizzes. So Final should be a piece of cake. quiz questions are most likely from notes :)

Di Passero is an awesome teacher. Beware of talking or fooling around in her class, because she will absolutely not tolerate it. However, if you get on her good side and go to her office hours, getting an A in her class is easy. She's also really cool to get to know in person. All in all a cool and darkly humorous teacher; highly recommended.

She gave a LOT of freebies that DRASTICALLY HELPED our grades and told us exactly what was on the quizzes and tests. Everything was from the notes.
