She is an amazing teacher who has a great personality and inspires you to learn about psychology. She tends to be a bit crazy, but fun at the same time.

Amazing teacher, if your going to take her for general psych id recomend her. She gives out attendence points so come to class, Writing assignments are super easy, she's super helpful and clear. drops the lowest test score and homework is easy.

Ms. K is one of the best teachers I've ever had. She is young and spunky, but don't let that fool you. She knows her stuff and is extremely passionate. At no point in the entire semester was I ever bored or confused. She is fun and her tests are extremely straight forward. Her writing assignments help you understand material and prepare for tests.

Mrs. K. is the best professor at HCC! Go to her office hours, you can discuss the lectures more and they really sink in. She is fun and her class is great, but she is serious about her work and she knows her stuff! You will not be disappointed!

This was not a show up and pass kind of class, participation and homework matter! She does give points for evry class attended so i would attend. Mrs. K is probably the best professor I've ever had, her energy and passion is contagious. I would take her for all my classes if i could!

Mrs. K as she prefers to be called, made this class a pleasure. She was fair in grading, her tests were a breeze if you came to class and paid attention. No trick questions, plus she REALLY LOVES PSYCHOLOGY as well as teaching, and it truly shows with the passion that she puts into this class. You will have to write, but she is great!

She's passionate about what she does and is down-to-earth about how she does it. I may have just had a good class, but she really cares about her students and their opinions. 1010 would recommend.

Mrs. K is very helpful. She explains the course material in ways that everyone can relate to and understand. Gives occasional extra credit. I would take a course taught by her again. I definitely recommend to others!

She is really engaging in her lectures, she teaches in a way to have you memorize the material. She is very easy to talk to and would be there for you. Her tests can be a lot, but all you need to do is review her powerpoints that are posted online. On top of everything, she is hilarious. I would definitely take another class by her.

Mrs. K's class is very entertaining, she keeps the class attention with her energetic personality, she assigns small homework assignments on comprehension of the chapter, and fun writing assignments. Her lectures are very clear and her exams can be studied by the power points from lectures. I would definitely take additional classes of hers!!!!!

I've never had a teacher even come close to how awesome she is. She teaches with so much good energy. She makes the class super fun! There's like a couple assignments and homework but they are so easy! Her exams are like the study guides. She gives so much extra credit points. I would go to class excited because I knew that she would make my day!

Awesome professor, she really breaks down the basic psychology concepts. I took this class over the summer and I thought that the 3hr lectures would be terrible but she made it bearable. That was my second time taking the psychology because the first time I couldn't grasp the concepts but now I can regurgitate my psych knowledge

She is an amazing teacher. She teaches with so much energy. She always random when shes lecturing but she makes the class fun. There are a couple assignments and homework but they are really easy. Her exams are from the study guides that she gives you in class. She gives a lot of extra credit points. I suggest everyone to take her class.

She is a wonderful teacher. She is really passionate about Psychology and makes her lectures funny and interesting. She does assign six small projects. They were pretty easy. Her tests are easy if you take the time to study from the power points and some from the textbook. I loved her class and would definitely take another class taught by her.

She's so passionate about Psychology and always willing to help. Very clear and FUN lectures. A few writing assignments. Overall A+ teacher. Wish she did summer classes.

Mrs. Landry is awesome! Really appreciate how available she is for her students. Provides study guides before every test that clearly outlines what needs to be known. The class was well worth it! Would take it again. I took her immediately when I finished my EAP program. Highly recommend this class .

Attendance is based off a point system. Very easy to pass. Goes through lecture thoroughly and she is fun and energetic. You definitely want to have her as a professor!

Took her Psych class over the summer, it was 3 hours of lecture but she managed to make it fun with the materials and the activities. she will help anytime, so committed to her students. if you study the materials this will be an easy A. Would take her again with no doubt.

I took the 6 week summer class with Prof. Landry. She is very sweet and always has the student's best interest in mind. She works with you in identifying strategies if you have trouble studying. She also is very energetic and makes the class overall a very fun learning environment. There were 5 papers, but you were allowed to choose 4 and 3 tests.

Love her!! I wish all my teachers were like her. Tells you how it is runned in her class, options for extra credit. Makes lessons exciting. Very young, didnt expect her to be flexible and understanding. Envy her energy. Lol

Just finished her 5 week Psychology class (5 wks due to her incoming baby) Amazing personality, caring towards every student. Proof that a great teacher really does help. No excuse to fail this class. Favorite class i have EVER taken. She even had her baby early and showed up to class 2 days later to help us review for the exam. You wont regret it.

I love her she is the best professor I have had at HCC I have taken all of her classes. SHe is easy to understand and if don't understand something she can be reached very easy by person or email to clarify anything. Gives test reviews and goes over them. BEST BEST BEST!!!

Her lectures are interactive and she will go more in-depth about something if you ask about it. She genuinely cares about your success. You don't need the textbook to do well (it helps though), but you absolutely need to do the homework. She using a lot of examples to explain things in class so everyone understands. She is very funny!

Far by one of the best professors I've ever had all her tests are questions that are applicable to real life situations and her lectures are absolutely amazing. The homework is not that hard and she'll help you with whatever you have questions on. I literally took her for all my psychology classes and I think she's one of the best.

This is my 3rd time taking Mrs. K, she is a gem. Certainly the best professor Ive had while getting my AA. She is so passionate about psychology and really makes you want to learn. If there was another class she taught, I would definitely take it. None of the work is difficult but sometimes takes some time and theres one group project

Mrs. K is the greatest professor there is. She really makes learning about psychology even more interesting that it already is because of how passionate she is about the subject. She has so much to share, is incredibly knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about her students. My all time favorite professor.

I LOVE HER! If you ever need help with the work all you have to do it reach out to her and she will help. She will answer the smallest of questions. So there is no reason to fail. Just do the work and ask questions. If the grades are not posted you email her and she will tell you what it is.

Learn from others and take her in person. She is an amazing person!

Word of advice, do not think you can take this online, you may fail. I had the pleasure of this teacher in person for night classes; she's energetic, excited and gets the phrase "Welcome back psychology fans" stuck in your head. It's a lot of work but with teacher she'll make the knowledge stick! She you can tell she loves teaching this topic.

After being in college for over a year now, I realized how much I missed a professor like this. Shes very energetic, passionate about psychology, and will keep you interested. Tests are fairly difficult if you dont study. Make sure to take EVERY exam, even though she drops one. Definitely a must take. Shes young but extremely smart

She's a great professor and makes class very fun. The only thing that didn't like was that there's a lot of homework. Like 2 quizzes per chapter and 2-4 small papers(about 3 paragraphs each) due by each test. Confusing to remember when everything is due and which are mandatory vs optional. Overall good prof though, I would definitely take again.

I absolutely love her. She made this class so much fun, it has been worth waking up every morning for her class. Amazing lectures, she is so young and is extremely smart. Professor Landry gives 3 exams but drops the lowest in replace of the final. You can get exempt from the final if your three exams add up to 270pts or more. There are hw quizzes but you can use the textbook and powerpoints when you take it. She can be very funny at times and it was always worth it going to her class. She make her lectures very fun.

This woman is amazing, she is super engaging and you can totally tell she loves her job! She has about 3 tests- and one final but you dont need to take it if you're passing the class. Has attendence points (kinda quizzes, but you can literally bs the whole thing and she still gives you points. They REALLY help your grade)

Best class I've taken at HCC. Prof Landry is amazing, clear instructions in an online course. The material is actually interesting, which makes it easy to want to learn. Readings well prepare you for the quizzes. A few opportunities for extra credit if you forget something - and the textbook is free. Loved this class and Prof. Landry.

Ms. Landry is a great professor. She gets you excited about psychology and her teaching is very effective. One problem I did have with the class is when conversations get sidetracked and lessons can't get thoroughly completed. Besides that Ms. Landry is easy to understand, she helps a lot, and she is one of the best professors I've had. Take her!

Easily the best teacher I've ever had. I took her for two classes this semester and signed up to take another with her next semester. There is a lot of homework, but it is easy and often enjoyable. She cares so much about her students, I've never felt such a great connection to a teacher. She is very fair and gives everybody lots of opportunity!

KL was a phenomenal professor. She really cared about me and my success in her class and overall. You will have to work in this class, but if you do the work, you will get an A. there are discussions, exams and quizzes, but she drops the worst 3 quizes, the worst exam, and 3 discussions. In my opinion DO THE WORK and it's an easy A.

Overall a nice and caring professor. Very understanding! Weekly class involves a discussion with a response , another Type of written assignment and a quiz.

The quizzes and tests are based right out of the book so it's easy to follow along, make sure to take good notes. Discussions are pretty fun and interesting to participate in. Definitely recommend!!!!

Professor K. ROCKS! This is my first time taking a college course in 10 years. I took the 6 week express summer session so, as expected, there was a lot of work crammed into a short periof of time but as long as you read the chapters and do all of the discussions, this class is an easy A. I would reccommend to anyone needing to take PSYCH!

If I could take another class with her, I would. Her lectures are hilarious and so fun to be a part of, and she also makes the class so interactive yet educational. Her tests were easy and final doesn't hurt your grade. She's easily approachable and very understanding if you reach out to her. Overall, I loved the class, and I definitely recommend!

I absolutely loved having Professor K as my psychology professor. The way she taught was of a way I never experienced before: it was like reading a book that was boundlessly intriguing. The assignments/quizzes were easy and helpful when it came to exams. I truly am sad to have the semester end, I wish I could have Professor K for every course.

Grading is based on 10 question quizzes from the free online textbook. As well as discussions that are usually easy and interesting. All tests are open book open note! I ended up with above a 100% due to extra credit. Love this teacher!

Professor Landry is such a kind and knowledgeable person and she is always excited to help students learn. She allows students to form their own opinions based on the current research which I think is important in a psychology class as we discuss many different perspectives and opinions. She is impartial and unbiased in her teaching.

Professor Kay was an AMAZING professor. She was one of the best I think I'll ever have. The class was super fun and interesting. I always wanted to come to the next class to learn more. She is very passionate not only about her job, but about her students as well. 10/10 recommend!!!!

Amazing professor! She loves her job and loves psychology. Very minimal assignments, easy 10 question quiz each week with a few random assignments and four 60 question exams that were very simple. I would highly recommend this professor she is amazing!

prof Landry was an amazing teacher, she gave amazing lectures and the course work was not heavy at all. She does not extend time on assignments but they are usually short and she gives you till Sundays at 11:59. She gives reviews before each exam and if you do them your guaranteed to pass your exams. One of my favorite professors by far.

She was amazing! Her modules are very interactive with lots of videos. The textbook offered during the summer was free online, which was definitely a plus. She gives great feedback but takes a bit to grade things. Be sure to actually submit discussion posts early, she will take off points if it is written the day of or last minute.

One of, if not, the best professor I have had at HCC. Had her for abnormal psychology and I wish I could take the class again just to have her as my professor. She is very understanding if you miss class and actually enjoys what she teaches.

Fun teacher. Time spent in her class is a pretty relaxed time. She doesn't put much work on you. At least in this semester she was pretty lenient on late work. 10/10 teacher would take her class again

The best professor I have had so far. I love Professor K so much that I am considering changing my major to psychology. She helps you understand yourself better. Take this class! Yes, you will have exams, but her PowerPoints are correct to the point, and her teaching style is fantastic; I would be happy to retake this class, honestly.

Look no further; I cannot stress how much I loved Prof K's course. I took their CLP1000 Summer '23, and immediately signed up for PSY2012 with them. 1-2 quizzes, 1 discussion post, and/or 1 "journaling" assignment per week. You seriously can't go wrong by taking their class. Gordon Rule class but I found myself writing more than expected.

Absolutely loved prof landry, their class is absolutely amazing. Although Im a psych major this class was very easy as well as eye opening. Tbh if you fail this class it's on you because there is no shortage of resources to help grasp the topics taught in class. Take this professor every chance you get!

She is amazing and the lectures are clear and interesting. Sometimes she spent too much time on a slide from a powerpoint and this caused for the other lectures to not get covered and have you rely on studying on the book instead. There are 4 tests in total and if you study you should be fine.

She is the best teacher and gives amazing captivating lectures. Her work consists of weekly small quizzes, discussion post and random assignments here and there. Not a hard class just make sure to study for the exams and the lowest grade gets dropped.

Assignments are super easy and enjoyable to complete. The quizzes are open notes and the exams are easy as long as you at least skimmed the textbook and know the main points about psychology. I took AP Psych in high school so everything was pretty easy. I'm sad Professor Landry doesn't have any other online courses, I would take her again.

Professor Landry is the best!! So kind, caring, and helpful. The work load is not a lot and is very clear on what to do. Grading is very straight forward. She also is just really nice and left a lot of nice notes on my discussions. Just make sure to participate in discussions and actually do the work!! It's not hard!!
