My favourite professor in Cerritos. I actually only need Math 170 and 190, but I really want to take as many classes as I can with him. I will take 240 next semester! Great professor. Never miss a chance to take his class! I have no clue why some people in Cerritos said he was hard. But then if you take his course, you will know the truth.

He is the best teacher in Cerritos, his exams are not that hard like what you guys think, just study on the questions on the board you will have at least a B, he is really nice, and helpful. You will love math with him, he makes everything easy.

I completely agree with all of you but the neutral one. I like teachers that have you participate, it shows they care. Plus, he has made college algebra less stressig for me.

This guy is ****ing hard but then so i calculus. I got a C in his class but i actually learned the material as opposed to pushing paper and getting an A in this class I earned a C if u take him YOU will learn the material.

his quizzes are hard as heck, but his tests are fairly easy. the good thing is, his tests are similar to the review sheets. memorize the review and you will get at least a B on the test. professor demian is funny, but strict. he's a math genius.. his smartness amazes me.

I think he is the easiest and most helpful teacher. He made me actually like math. I used to hate math before taking it with him. He made math so much simple and easy for me. For those people who think he is hard they are wrong because they never actually tried. You can at least get B without evern trying if you only study his study guides.

AWSOME TEACHER. He's the best teacher I've ever had in math. His grading system is very simple and straight forward. You work hard and you know the material, you get an A or a B. If you kinda know it it's a C. If not you'll probably be dropping. The key to his class is simple, do the work that he gives you and actually learn the stuff.

He's one of the best teacher ever, even though I am not a math major, but he make me like math a lot, he's teaching style is very clear, as long as you listen to his lecture, you will get everything, don't even bother to look the book, just do the homework. And the extra credit he offer, if you don't know how to do it, he will help you.

He is so knowledgeable with the subject he teaches, but he is so fast that the lesson cannot sink in properly. His exam is so comprehnsive. He does not skip topic. If you want to learn Calculus take his class. But you have to spend too much time solving his homeworks.

The best mathematics teacher at Cerritos College. He can really explain a topic and help you understand it even from an application standpoint. This teacher has rekindled my love for math so much I wouldn't hestitate one second on recommending this teacher to others. It's a shame though that he's going on vacation for a couple of semesters.

Yes, he wants you to go to the board, but he never leaves you stranded there. He walks you and the class through every problem and helps you see it many ways. And - you get an extra credit point every time you get up there. I hated the thought of attending a math class after a 25 year break in school, but this experience gave me confidence

Damian is an excellent professor at Cerritos College. He never skip any topic that the students need to know. He has exemplary content knowledge and mastery of Mathematics. Very excellent rapport with students. Very prompt and very hardworking. He deserve an award from Cerritos for service!!!!

He is a great math teacher. Yes he has an accent but its not impossible to understand him. He is a very good teacher and takes his time to make sure you learn the material. I agree, know your trig for the exams or you are going to have trouble solving the problems, eventhou the study guide doesn't have trig. The extra credit is lame, only like 10 points total in the whole semester. No extra credit on the exams at all, exams hard...if you take him, study like it was a physics class for the exams

This semester he came in with the attitude that students are stupid, and of course students started feeling down and scoring low in exams. The end result = 8 students passed the class out of 40+

Took Professor Kamal for MATH 114 TWICE...his tests are really hard and tricky...yes he is a good teacher because his notes are clear and understandable..theres just something about his tests..but yes less than half his students pass he says so himself so its one of those classes you really have to focus in..no messin around

I hate math. I'm an English major. I have the most difficulties with College Algebra and falied it before, but Demian is like a god when it comes to explaining math. The best professor at Cerritos college! I couldn't wait to go to his class. The subject is hard for most but he explains everything to where it just, makes sense. All his test and quizzes are announced ahead of time on his syllabus and he gives out practice test which are the exact same thing! Hes always there to help and is very funny! A++

Great professor, super intelligent, really know his stuff, so well that even though he is a great professor, I think he forgets that not all of us are as intelligent as him. For exam's he will give out reviews with plenty of time to study before the actual exam. His reviews are pretty identical to the exam's just watch out for the curve balls.

Professor Demian is an intense Professor. He is super professional and does not tolerate any stupidity. He is very compasionate and does not humiliate anyone with an honest intent to learn. There are no surprises as he tells one exactly what is on the quizzes and hands out the study guide no later than 3 WEEKS before the exam. I friggin love this guy. His exams are straightforward, and his lectures are very helpful. Pretty tough class, but it is precalc. Taking him for calc i because I loved his precalc class.

If you actually try, he'll respect you even more. He encourages asking questions and participation. Don't be afraid to ask him for help. He gives study guides for the exams. If you do the HW and the study guides before the exams, you should pass with an A. Overall, best math professor I've ever had

I have so much LOVE for Demian. He is a great professor. His lectures, study guides, quizzes and exams are very straightforward. He does such a great job in preparing you. I grew to love Math because of him. You must work for a good grade, he is a slightly tough grader.

AMAZING PROFESSOR!!! He really is a genius !!! People say that Math 114 is hard but he made is so easy and so understandable. The study guide is exactly like the test and it helps a lot! If you go up to the board he gives extra credit. Amazing. Praying that i can take him for Math 116. He's retiring soon though /:

What a college professor is supposed to be. Focused, intense, but still a sense of humor. Warns you of the traps, tells the easier ways, teaches the whole thing. English not the best but not so hard to understand. Great study guides that match the test. Too bad he retires soon.

He is a true math genius. He Has a short cuts for every problem. Exams are similar to the reviews. It's very hard to fail his class. If you do bad on the exams, his final will save you. Go to his office hours, he will help you. And yes, Math is Beautiful, and he made math beautiful. MUST TAKE ONE OF THE BEST MATH TEACHER OF CERRITOS COLLEGE.

By far the Best Math Teacher at Cerritos College.. He is a very caring man if he notices a student is struggling I noticed he tries to focus more on their attention. He knows what he is teaching and tries to make it as easy someone can learn. He is a funny man just Stay Off your phone and you will be fine. He is definetly a quality Professor

He is a quality college professor. His study guides are a must do if you want to do really well on the exam. Do study groups at the math center with white boards with your classmates if you guys want to pass together and make friends. TIP: The book can be used for reference at the Cerritos Library, just take pictures. (helpful) / Highly Recommend!

Professor Demian is one of the best math teachers I've ever had. He is funny, gives study guides, and makes math super easy and understandable.

Professor Demian is the best Math Professor i ever had, in fact I did not like Math, but i really enjoyed the course, he made it very understandable, easy , and gave a lot of extra credit opportunities . Too bad he is retiring this year, very caring professor.

Best professor at Cerritos College; he is definitely gifted. Shouldn't retire; the college lost a great asset.
