This has got to be the best teacher on campus. I will definitely take his 71 class. The other ratings stole the words right out of my mouth. Fabulous teacher! Recommended class for anyone who hates math or hasn't taken math in a long time.

Highly recommended for math 130.Actually he knows how to teach and transfer main points to his students.You will have about 4 tests,4 quizes and final exam ,also he will give you 25 to 35 extra credit.Take math 130 and enjoy it.

Prof. Khoddam is a brilliant teacher. He helps you until you are comfortable with the material and honestly wants to see you succeed. He is always in a happy mood and it makes the class very lax. Prof. Khoddam is one of my favorite professors of all time. His notes are precise and he even tells you what's going to be on the quizzes and tests. He gives PLENTY of extra credit and even though you might of pass the deadline, he still will take it and give you full credit if you get everything correct. His accent is a bit thick though.

He is nice, but the class is hard than wht I thought. I don't quite like the way he teaches. He spends most of time on proving formulars instead of doing examples. I don't care how the formular comes from. Whatever, the teacher is sweet and kind, but just please do some more examples.

Khoddam is great. He always comes to class ready to teach, has a great sense of humor, and explains things til you get it. For the majority of us, math isnt easy. Khoddam however does his best to make it more bareable. Hes not strict on having the book but all your homework comes from it so you have to go to the MARC alot! I never bought the book!

This dude is THE greatest. He is very personable, hilarious and really does care about his students. If you hate math, take it with him, he'll actually make you like it.

I loved his class and I wish he taught 181. He makes math so much easier to understand and if you don't understand it, he'll find other ways for you to approach the problems. He's always in his office so you can always ask him questions. The only tough part are the maple assignments, so make sure you know how to do that.

Kambiz is the the best professor I've ever had in Math. I went from having little interest in Math, to making it a priority because of him. He's inspired me because he's alleviated the stresses of the course with his petty jokes. He's great, you have to take him because its "renky denky"..

Professor Khoddam is a very good teacher in that he always takes his time to answer questions thoroughly. He grades really fairly and his tests are not too difficult to handle, given that you put effort into homework and studying.

You have to know how to take a joke if you don't want your feelings hurt. He's an awesome teacher. He's very clear and very helpful. There are math videos and notes online for help. The quizzes are from the math videos and the tests are easy if you do the homework and practice the math videos. He gives extra credit if you go to the MARC.

He uses his own notes to lecture. He is an average lecturer, sometimes clarification is needed after class. But always willing to help his students during office hours. His tests are from homework and are fair. Do the homework two times, go to office hours, and you can end up with at least a B in the class.

Kambiz is, by far, the most unique math professor I have encountered. His lectures are not only fast, but also all over the board. He posts the notes on BB, which you should print and use. DO THE HW! Quiz & test questions are from the homework problems. Do the Tmarc e.c.! Good Luck, we studied many hrs. and barely passed. It's a tough subject.

Kambiz is not only hilarious but a great professor. He gives you everything you need to pass, so the only excuse to failure would be pure laziness. He loves answering questions to help you as much as he can. He makes math videos where he works through the problems (that are on the quiz!!) and shows you how to do them step by step. Very helpful

Kambiz is a great math teacher because he explains everything clearly and if any question are asked he addresses them on the stop. I have Dyscalculia and he help me so much that i actually like math. "Math is Fun" is his motto. He has voice he does voice to make the class laugh. Math videos & maps available help greatly!

Kambiz is such a nice dude. He'll catch u off guard at first with his sarcastic sense of humor, but he means well. Tests and quizzes reflect hw, so know it well. 40 pts E.C. Doesnt teach material too clearly though. I had to teach myself out of the solutions manual. Got an A though. If you have the time to teach yourself, Id say take him.

Kambiz is a GREAT professor. Math is my worst subject and I managed to receive an A in his class. He is hilarious and he makes math enjoyable for everyone. He's a really good professor and is fairly easy. His lectures are crystal clear and his examples are easy to understand. Exams/quizzes usually are based on hw, which aren't collected. Alot of extra credit too!! Take him for a chill class.

Best math teacher I've ever had. Explains things clearly. You know a stupid question if you hear one, but he is nice enough to explain it in detail. He's pretty chill. I didn't feel intimidated at all in his class. Homeworks don't count much on the grade, but I suggest doing them, because some items on the exams are taken directly from the hw.

My favorite professor, took him in fall 2014 and I am glad that I did. It was NOT an easy class, you'll have to work for your grade. Very clear and helpful, very nice too! There are no such thing as multiple choices. Lots of homework but helps you a lot on your exams. He offers some extra credits as well which is a big plus. Take for a challenge!

A wonderful professor , took rim for spring 2015, first semester here in Mt Sac as international. Gives you 3 quizzes, 3 tests, 3 easy Maples, extra credit and a final exam. Questions on tests are the same as those in tests with small differences. Very very helpful. Funny professor, makes a lot of jokes. Highly recommended.

I love math ,but I personally didn't like this professor .He was always very annoyed in his lectures ,especially when the class didn't participate. Half of the students dropped his class.

Kambiz is a very knowledgeable professor. He does tend to lecture a bit fast and he might assume that you know certain things, so be prepared to get a little lost. Just make sure you do the homework because the quizzes and tests are literally straight from there. If you skip class, make sure you review the material that was taught that day. Study!!

He is a great professor he explains really good and is always available after or before class. He also give you extra credit and is a great person.

Has a bit of an accent, but it's not too bad. He does use the textbook for homework, but he doesn't assign too much of a heavy workload. He collects homework the day of exams, each packet worth 20pts. There are 3 tests and 3 quizzes. An answer key is uploaded after each quiz and exam. Extra credit is offered. Beware of the final exam, it was hard.

One of the best professor I've ever had so far. He was patient with students who weren't able to follow up the lesson and many extra credits were provided. I have never felt like I've learned a lot from a math class before. You just have to participate in class and you will learn naturally.

Overall Kambiz was a solid teacher. The class was full of lecture and he goes a bit fast. Expects you to know the material. Pretty funny guy and uses funky phrases that keeps you awake. A bit of a lot of homework, but he only checks for completion. Tests were pretty hard but he gives a TON of extra credit. 2 points for every 1 hour in the TMARC.

Professor Khoddam is an amazing, laid-back teacher. He wants you to be engaged and ask the questions when you don't get something. He loves to give good grades, and may ask the class what questions they would like to see on tests. Extra Credit MARC hours. He doesn't force you to do daily HW, but if you want to do well, try not to procrastinate.

Professor Kambiz is such a good professor! I struggle with math and honestly I was so happy to take MATH50 with him. He does assign HW assignments and he gives you plenty of time to finish. One key for passing this class is HW. Most of the homework is what he tests you on. Quizes and Tests ect. FUNNY GUY!!

Kambiz was one of the best professors Ive taken yet! Hes hilarious and wants to make sure all his student understand the subject. Hw is a medium amount but is due the day of tests. He explains different ways to execute a math problem. He wants to make sure everyone does math in a comfortable way not just one way. Highly recommend!

Very solid professor, will take the time to explain what even one person doesn't understand. Very caring and understanding of students. Has a good energy throughout class, which helps a ton in a lecture-heavy subject. Gives extra credit for going to the math lab. Gives plenty of material to use in case you didn't understand. Kambiz is very passionate about Math and truly wants his students to succeed. Very entertaining lectures, good sense of humor. Does require alot of hw but manage your time wisely & you can definitely get it done. Is confusing during lecture but there are video notes in the website we use for hw that explain things simply. HW heavy via Mymathlab. 4 Exams, 2 Finals. He will make you work for it. Study your eyes out. You will need to if you want to pass.

Professor Kambiz really cares about his students success. I took his Math 71 class via online due to COVID-19. His lectures are somewhat overwhelming and does give a lot of homework. Exams are very similar to the practice exams he gives you which helps.

taking trig atm and hes a good teacher if you can keep up. He does make time for students and very helpful. LOTS of hw, no quizzes and chap exams are around every two weeks. very open to questions during zoom and response emails quickly. overall not a bad teacher.

Took Professor Kambiz for Math 71 in the Fall 2021. He was fantastic. Great lectures and they're recorded for later review. At the beginning of each class he will answer any questions you have regarding HW or review questions you might have gotten wrong on a quiz. He is super patient and helpful. I would recommend 100%. Attend every class lecture.

Professor Khoddam will go the extra mile to help you succeed. I was struggling in the Finite Mathematics class all semester long and the only reason I passed with a B was due to his office hours which he offered 2 times a week. No matter if it was a Saturday or Sunday, he'd always be open to helping me with my homework and cared about my success.

I took Professor Khoddam for Winter 2024. If you want to get an A, take him. He is an easy grader while also teaching the content effectively. You might seem lost at first, but you will get the hang of it and not regret taking him. I got 104% in his class, proving that his class is easy. He also gives a lot of easy extra credit points.

Professor Khoddam is very kind and accessible. He goes the extra mile to help students, even offering Zoom sessions outside of office hours. The course is challenging but manageable if you stay on top of the work. Unstuck AI was a great supplemental tool for preparing for exams.

Amazing professor! As long as you participate in the discussions and do the homework on time then you'll be good! The tests were 50% of our grade but he always explained the material really well and made it super easy to understand (failed trig once btw loll). 110% would recommend his class!

I honestly learned a lot from Prof Khoddam. In his class, you choose if you want to read the notes or watch his videos and follow along. The exams were literally easier than the homework assignments, and Prof Khoddam is a lenient grader if you follow his directions. I also liked how Prof Khoddam was very flexible and nice if you email him. 10/10
