great teacher!
Great teacher if you don't get math. No way I should have a B here, but I do!
Kane is such a silly asian that tells really lame jokes. As far as teaching goes, he tells you what you need to know and posts his old tests online. Guaranteed A if you take advantage of the review materials he gives you.
pretty good teacher.kinda hard to uunderstand at times, but he will repeat if you need him to.his jokes are way out there and are almost so retarded, they are funny...almost.as long as you take the notes and look over the homework, you'll be fine.stats goes pretty smoothly if you take it with him.
i hate math but i love kane! his jokes are so silly and they never failed to make me laugh. overall the class is tedious and HARD but he is very fair and reaaaaally smart.
Don't take this class at 8 am...but if you do, he has no attendence policy. Also he gives out random bonus point every week or so. He sometimes isn't very clear, but he was nice and always tried to be funny.
I really like this guy. He tells you what you need to know for the test, and you get a sheet of notes for the tests. If you speak up in class and actually go to class, you'll get on his good side and he'll help you out a lot more. But yeah, his jokes are lame, but he's asain so it's funny. I suggest taking him.
Dr. Nashimoto is a model of what all statistics professors should be. He teaches well for one thing...plus he cares a lot about his students and always tries to make sure they understand the material. Tests were take-home thus it was much easier to learn the material. He makes funny jokes too and it helps make up for the 8am class.
Kane is a really nice professor who truly wants everyone to do well. I got an A even though I never considered myself a math person. He is very clear in what he wants you to know. As long as you go to class, you will be fine.
good class. GO TO CLASS. every class you copy notes and sometimes do problems, class is no problem. DONT BUY THE BOOK you won't need it. He's a good teacher b/c he gets straight to the point, no bs. tests were semi tough b/c there were only a few problems so if you mess up a little its the difference between an A and a B, but i recommend him
if you have to take stats, take him! as long as u go to class and pay attention you will do fine. he curves a lot, gives extra credit for no reason, and although makes stupid jokes, he can be really funny. i took this class once before and failed (w/ domangue - dont take) and took it with this guy and got an A
I really didn't find Kane to be a very good teacher. He didn't go into very much depth in his explanations, and was inconsistent in his policies. Also, the test are so short that if you blank one question, you can forget any shot at an A or B.
He really isnt a nice guy, decent teacher but nice guy. He will smirk if you ask questions he thinks are dumb. Makes really bad jokes, pretends to be more helpful than he is. Basically decent teacher but bad human being. B isnt 2 hard to get if you study the previous exams and stuff.
TAKE HIM!! This class is pretty easy if you go to class and study. He lets you have a whole sheet of notes for each exam and the final, he gives random extra credit, and curves tests. He is Asian, but you are able to understand him. He makes some really random jokes, but they are pretty funny. Tests are easy too. and hes organized. I recommend!

Good teacher. Exams are pretty easy (lets you have 1 page cheat sheet per exam!) I would recommend him!!
Kane was by far my favorite professor in college. Go to class, do your homework, and go to office hours and you'll get an A. He lets you use a cheat sheet and gives you previous exams to study for on Blackboard. He was incredibly helpful at office hours and will always help you on your homework. TAKE HIM!
He is hilarious!!! but not on purpose... He's a nice guy and his class is pretty easy!
incredibly boring, every day he lulls you to sleep then teaches all the stuff you need to know. Take Ruffin instead
stats is the worst, nashimoto makes is not the worstlovehim you get cheat sheets on everytest and he posts previous tests online.very fair.you have 8 hws graded both for completeness and correctness and 4 spss, then you have 3 tests and a final.i dont take notes and have a high b bc of the cheat sheets and i just take the former tests he has posted
TAKE HIM!
Stats isn't a class I was looking forward to taking, but Nashimoto makes it a lot of fun with all of his corny jokes. He's a really great teacher and he's willing to help you if you need it.
I had to switch into an 8am Stat class and was dreading it but Nashimoto is extremely energetic and excited about his work. He has powerpoints online, past tests, cheat sheets on tests and fairly easy homework. I hate math but I did well. He's awesome!! Definitely take him!
He's a cute little Asian man who is quite hysterical. He encourages people to come see him during office hours and is extremely helpful. He doesn't make you teach yourself, and gives plenty of opportunity for good grades. Overall, he's a great guy, and an excellent statistics professor. =)
GREAT teacher- so funny, but he doesn't even try to be. Happy but not annoyingly peppy for an 8am. Powerpoints online, lets you use a cheat sheet on every test, some extra credit, very personable. Definitely worth getting up for- I would definitely take him again!
So, I'm HORRIBLE at math...but I got an A in this class. He tries really hard to make the class interesting with his not so funny jokes (at 8 am!). You get to use a cheat-sheet for each test which helps A LOT. See him during his office hours if you have ?'s, he was good about making sure you understood him. TAKE HIM!
Kinda boring, but loves what he teaches and cares about students. He's always willing to help. He also loves when people ask questions in his class and it makes time go by faster. Its stats so you will have to work but he makes it as easy on you as he possibly can.
He is a good professor. He cracks stupid jokes all the time that you can't help but laugh at. Homework once a week and only half of it is graded. Four tests which only have 6-9 questions each, and you get to use a study guide. Pretty easy teacher, very helpful, loves when you ask questions. You don't use the book except for homework. Take him!
He begs for attention from the class through horrible jokes, its pitiful. Test are decent you get a cheat sheet and review but he doesn't cover everything on the test. He doesn't offer much time for to take the exams, he says get their early but he doesn't show up early so. Accent can be annoying at times. Overall somewhat hard and aggravating.
Great professor. Crystal clear about what he wants from you. Just look at old tests he has on blackboard and study the notes the night before and you'll be fine. He's very helpful also if you need assistance on any assignments. Take him!
Kane is great! Stat isn't really an exciting subject to me. Kane provides so much for his students. He puts all of his old exams with solutions to the problems online. You really need to go to class to see his examples and use the workbook. He grades some homework, but is not a very harsh grader. He is friendly and helpful. However, class is BORING
Really nice, helpful and always available during office hours. 4 tests...Do the practice tests he puts online before each test!! Same format & similar problems. Tells jokes about shapes during lectures. Take him!!!
Nashimoto is the best! i absolutely hated the idea of taking math going into this class, but he made if fun and EASY to understand. He is the best math teacher i've had in forever. Pay attention in class, do the practice tests, listen to the notes in class and go to class. If you try hard in this class you can walk away with a B+ or A easily.
this was my second time taking stats, i took kane for maymester and he made the class so much easier, hes amazing, i highly recommend him
BEST MATH TEACHER EVER!, All of the previous comments are very true, Kane is the best, and he teaches math very well, I'm not the best at Math, and I understood everything that he taught, his exams are cake if you just do the practice exams online, same format and similar problems, only grades some homework, and I got a B take him!!
Nashimoto is THE MAN! I absolutely hate math AND this was my 2nd time taking math220 at JMU. Kane Nashimoto is the only reason I can check off statistics under the requirements section for my major. TAKE HIM! Best professor ever. He's really funny (sometimes unintentionally) and really helpful. He wants you to do well, and it shows.
Kane is the best! He even made an 8 am class fun. 4 Exams, 8 graded homework assignments and you get to use your notes on the Exams! TAKE KANE!
Class is incredibly easy, especially if you have ever taken a stats course. However Kane tries too hard to be your friend, talks about random stuff and doesn't let you out early because you paid money...but he does let you use cheat sheets on each test. If you have patience and want an easy A, take him.
He appears nice and innocent, but went he's serious he can be very cruel. Limit your questions for him; he will be sarcastic and rude. However, if you practice with the old tests, you will be fine. I recommend doing all the SPSS in advance; once you understand them, the rest will follow easily. If you don't like class, don't go, its not mandatory
I hadn't taken stats yet or any math class for a year, but got an A... He's not as nice as he seems but he's organized and if you do all the work you will be fine. Do the SPSS before studying, bc once you get it, everything else will come together. Otherwise can b very confusing, especially since I couldnt ever pay attention in class; too fast
Stats is boring. Kane is probably not the best stats professor JMU has to offer, but he was very easy. Go to class, take notes, and do the practice tests. You also get a cheat sheet for each test. Also, he's a funny guy in class, but in his office, he's sort of cold and impatient. I do recommend him though - easy A.
This is the easiest math class i have ever taken!!! He allows you to use a page of notes on each test and puts the previous exams online to use for practice. Do not take stats with anyone else, kane is the best! and very funny
I hadn't taken a math class in 3 or 4 years prior to this. I took it over the summer. He was hard to understand at first but makes cute jokes. Pay attention and do all homework problems-it's graded and helps A LOT. Allows you to have pages of notes during the test. 1 for the first 2 for the second and so on.
He is probably one of the best teachers in the math department. He gives out extra credit & like everyone said you get to use notes for tests. On the final you get 2 sheets of paper front and back of notes. SPSS & homework take time but are easy & he lets the class pretty much dictate due dates. Hes pretty amusing & a really good guy who means well
Probably doesn't help that my math skills are zero but I found this class to be hard. My biggest complaint is that his style of teaching is simply reading off of a power point. You'll probably be fine if you're good at math but for those who struggle you'd probably be better off taking someone else
Class was pretty boring, but Nashimoto was a nice guy. If you're ok at math, then the class isn't very difficult. He'll attempt to explain things if you have questions about the material. Tests aren't too hard and you get one sheet of notes with you for the test. Homework adds up but he drops the lowest score. I'd recommend him.
as far as stats professors go, hes probably one of the easiest. he lets you use a page of notes on the test which is so clutch but its pretty much impossible to get a 10 out of 10 on the homeworks. overall id definitely recommend
Made math as fun as possible. Very helpful and applies a huuuuge curve. I probably should have gotten a B in the class but the curve got me an A-
Dr. Nashimoto is not only a great professor who breathes life into numerical equations, but he is also so dreamy, I had a hard time concentrating in his class. I am a swimsuit model, and I get hit on all the time, but the way he talks about the quadratic formula is sexier than any pick-up line I have ever heard. Great professor. Highly reccomend.
Kane is the man! Take his class. His tests are not hard and the homework is easy. he made calc 237 fun
Good teacher, very clear and helpful outside of class. Best math professor I have had. Likes to make math jokes to keep class interesting. Would definitely recommend.
Nashimoto does a great job of explaining concepts and regularly checks to make sure you understand and is happy to clarify. He loves engaging with students so ask him questions! The class can be difficult and is a lot of work, but keeping up and attending class gets you a long way. Attendance is not mandatory, but it might as well be. Go to class!
Oh, Kane, where do I begin. He is the cutest little man in the world and I absolutely loved him! He is a good professor and is always there for you if you have any questions. This class is an easy A, too. He's also pretty funny in a quirky, goofy way where he doesn't realize he is funny. I wish I could take him for all of my maths! Take him!!!
Kane is the man. Take this class with him if you can. I'm so glad I took this class instead of taking COB 191. For our class, the grade was out of 400 points. 100 for HW, 100 for Quizzes, 50 for the Midterm, 50 for the Final, 60 for SPSS, and 40 for Participation. He'll curve the midterm and final. Overall, easy class. Just do the work. I got an A-
Grades: 4 exams, and homework. Unlimited tries on homework. Rules: Doesn't care about laptop use or tardiness. He usually lets us out early, especially on Thursday. Personality: He's a sweetheart. Checks to make sure we understand the material before moving on. Other: An A won't fall into your lap. He moves quickly through material.
The regular math class. Homework sets are given each week (10 problems max, but mostly 5 problems) and you get 10 tries per problem. The final is non-cumulative. The homework balances out the test scores. Kane is super adorable and funny, and he lets his students pick for test dates so he understands the stress of a college student. Take him!
Funny guy. Has a pretty significant accent so if you sit in the back like I did very hard to understand. Easy class unless your a slacker like me who didnt study or do homework. DO THE HOMEWORK. I got 3 b's a c and an f on the tests and D on the homework and barely passed. My friend got 4 Ds and a c on tests but an A+ on HW and pulled out a B-
the best stats prof at JMU! he is so adorable and funny. i had this class early morning but didnt mind at all because he is hilarious! unlimited tries on homework, 2 tries on quizzes and tests aren't too difficult! definitely recommend taking him if you can!
If you have the opportunity to take Kane, DO IT!!! He is the nicest, most understanding guy, and is actually helpful unlike many other Math 107/108/207 professors. The class consisted of bi-weekly quizzes, 3 tests, and online homework just about every week. I would take every math class I need to take with Kane if I could!
Best stats professor in the game! If you can get him as your MATH220 professor, definitely select him because he is very clear about what will be on the tests and walks you through SPSS. HW and quizzes are done on ConnectMath, which you sign up on the first day. Ask for help and he will be happy and never be cruel to you (false in other comments)
Kane is amazing, I've never had a better professor here at JMU. Not sure why he doesn't have a higher rating because he is understanding, clear with expectations and thorough with the material you will be tested on. Tests are straight forward (calculator based multiple choice), quizzes and homework are difficult. Sit up close- he's a little quiet!
I never took pre-calc or anything before taking Math205, which is calc. I managed to pull out with a D+ while failing 3 tests. He is a cute older man and loves to tell stories. I recommend him if you have done anything precalc wise.
I hate math but Naishimoto makes going to class worth it. He's super cute and a v nice guy, always willing to answer any questions. Def recommend taking him for math 220.
He is a great teacher. He tries to make statistics as easy as possible and explains it multiple times in different ways. Unlimited tries on homework on MathConnect. Quizzes best out of 2 tries (MathConnect). 3 Exams, multiple choice, Ti-84 calculator based. And SPSS assignments, but he walks you trough it. With just some effort you can get an A.
Kane Nashimoto is such an inspirational teacher, I struggle with all my other classes, when I see how far behind his peers are at providing quality education. Devilishly handsome, brilliant and surprisingly funny, he comes from the Krishna Vadivellu school of mathematical theory which is a refreshing change from all the other followers of Euclid.
All the math 105 teachers are difficult. With Nashimoto, he is very nice but talks very quietly so if you sit in the back you won't hear him. He gives practice exams before the test that help a lot. Sort of a tough grader so you have to be specific on tests. Out of all of them I would chose him but to pass the class I would go to tutoring at SSC.
he's amazing
Kane was an amazing teacher. Homework about once a week and tests often but he gives a study guide that is EXACTLY like the test. Very easy to get an A.
Explains concepts very well, kind of strange some times. As long as you show up to class and take notes and do the practice problems you should be fine.
Kane is the best! It is an easy class just take notes and you will get an A easily. He is a little boring, but he explains the content very well. The study guides he gives are also just like the test (which he goes over right before the test). TAKE HIM
My favorite teacher at JMU, the sweetest man and he is very good on giving extensions especially for the math webworks. He is a little quiet but very good teacher. He is so funny and the work load is not a lot at all and he has a practice test which he goes over in class the class before the exam and the questions are the same, just different #'s.
Highly recommend!! I took math 105 my first semester and had to withdraw because I was struggling. Now I have an A in math 105 because Kane makes it so much easier to understand and clear expectations. You have 6 tests with online webwork homework due on each unit. you can miss some classes because there is no attendance but "activity" credit.
Sweetest man in the world and the easiest professor at JMU, if you show up to class on a consistent basis he will give you an A.
Professor Nashimoto is one of the best math teachers around! He is a bit hard to understand sometimes, however he is always more than willing to help you out. Tests are very similar to the practice sheets he gives in class. Homework is on WebWork & fairly simple. All in all, he is amazing! Take Nashimoto!!!
Honestly he just makes me laugh thinking about him, Kane is such a character... kind of an awkward man & cracks at least 5 weird jokes per class but definitely an easy A, the tests are almost exactly like the practice tests he gives. Take him!
This class is so easy, he does example during class, attendance is not mandatory, and he will go over the practice exams if you ask, which are exactly like the real exam, just with different numbers. He's also a really chill person, easily accessible outside of class, and really funny and sweet. If you have to take MATH220, TAKE HIM!
Really easy class and he provides a practice exam before every exam with everything you need to know.
Attendance isn't mandatory but there are some in class assignments that are easy grade boosters. He is a really sweet professor and his test are very easy. As long as you do the practice test and the notes you will pass
Super easy MATH 220 professor, 10/10 would take him again!! Exams are usually 7 questions; master the style of his questions (exactly like practice tests and examples from class). No need to buy textbook. Show up for participation points. He cares and wants students to do well and understand the info. FInal is cumulative though, so study hard!!
Super easy stats class. All you need is the booklet he makes you buy or $20, no need for a textbook. Show up for participation credit bc his class isn't weighted and it 'll help you a lot. His practice tests are the same as his real tests just different numbers, but final is cumulative but if you really study you can do well. He bumped my grade too
i hate any kind of math but I easily got an A! his tests are based off practice exams that he makes, you dont need to buy the stats textbook, attendance isnt mandatory, and homework is easy points. hes also super sweet!!
He is a such a lovely and caring guy, he really really wants everyone to succeed. He posts the lectures online, and the homework helps you learn and isn't hard at all. I would take his class again in a heartbeat.
YO. real talk Kane is seriously the best. I got a HIGH A in the class and i skipped almost every Friday class (bc of thursday nights. lol). He is very very understanding and knows what he is talking about. I will say though he is kind of hard to understand if you sit in the way back.
Kane is such a good teacher; wants everyone to succeed and cares about all of his students. He gives partial credit on all tests and uses webworks which helped a ton with learning the material. I had him 2 semesters in a row for math 105 and math 220 and would still take him again if I could.
He is a good teacher, a little hard to understand his accent sometimes, but he will definitely work with you. Do the projects, do well on the quizzes (take the quizzes in the workbook they are exactly the same), and do the homework. There is no reason if you don't do all that that you won't get an A.
Kane Nashimoto is the best Math 220 teacher by far. If you go to class and take notes it will be very easy to do well in the class. The workbook has practice tests that are almost identical to the tests so take advantage of that. 10/10 recommend
If you get the chance definitely take him. He is so sweet and cares a lot about his students. Do the practice tests in the workbook and the tests will be a breeze.
TAKE HIM
Nashimoto is hands down one of my favorite human beings. Stats is hard and he genuinely cares and wants his students to succeed. He is literally hilarious in a way that I have never encountered and consistently made us laugh. He is so sweet and extremely understanding of illnesses, falling behind, extracurriculars etc. Kane is the best they come.
Great professor. He posts his slides online and he's really caring for his students. He tries to be funny and it's kinda awkward, but you just laugh anyway.
He's very kind and caring! Attendance isn't mandatory but show up every day because activities are graded. He's super nice and his tests are EXACTLY like the suggested homework problems. Very nice guy.
I love Kane! His class was so straightforward and he was really good at answering all our questions/explaining how to answer problems. There was online homework (WebEx) which wasn't too hard and you could answer till you get them all right. Tests weren't that hard, and theres a lot of other assignments (SPSS) to boost your grade. Allows calculator
Show up to class, turn in the SPSS assignments on time, and study for tests by doing all the suggested HW problems and getting the answers either on Chegg or in office hours if they arent in the textbook. Lets you have a cheat sheet for each test, save them because you can bring them all to the final. Do this and its a easy A. Nice and funny too.
I love Kane. But you have to be good with learning with him just writing on a chalkboard and explaining things, which I am. Very direct style of lecture, optional homework for practice, four SPSS assignments, and FIVE exams - which only sucked bc there were so many tests, but otherwise fine. He knows his stuff and is happy to help
Such a kind man, but only 10 assignments total: 5 exams, the final, and four short assignments. Each exam was only 6 questions, so it was hard to do well on. gave notes and plenty examples. no required homework, but he did give suggested problems if you want more practice. Answered emails, gracious ab mental health, kindly answered questions.
Dr. Nashimoto was a fantastic instructor. His lecture materials were posted in advance and were very clear. He worked through many examples in class for each unit. The example and assigned problems set you up very nicely for the exams.
Professor Nashimoto is an extremely nice man, and it really shows. Despite how hard it sounds, MATH318 is actually quite easy to pass as long as you come to class and do the suggested homework (usually about 10 problems/week). For a 4 credit math class, it's only about 6-8 hours/week, so very reasonable! Take Nashimoto, he is a real gem.
Professor Nashimoto is a real gem at JMU. Kane is warm, caring, understanding and an overall amazing person. Will ask before the end of class if anyone needs extra help and is always in his office helping students. Would take again. 10/10.
Such a nice guy. You definitly need to go to class, pay attention and take notes but the class itself is not bad. He is also a very easy grader and will literally give you points if you even attempt a problem on an exam. Is very fast at responding to emails and always is willing to help students. Take him!!
Super sweet guy and will work with students to make sure they succeed. He also explained everything with a lot of detail and is very approachable
Very helpful and super kind. Had an unusual girl in our class and he handled it to the best of his ability. Highly recommend him.
Professor Nashimoto is incredibly intelligent and funny. He grades tests quickly fairly. I did very well in this class but I did take it in high school too, so I would say definitely take Nashimoto if you have experience in math, because he can go a little fast with the material sometimes.
He's so chill and you have a great time in his class. Everything on the notes and homework is exactly what is on the tests.
He unexpectedly puts in a grade worth 100 points that only matters if you attend class. Its called activities but you do none in class. His lectures are boring and had us do maximum 2 practice problems each class. Nothing on canvas for Mr. Nashimoto too. This is all for Math 155 though.
Class is easy as long as you stay on top of work. Barely ever interacted with prof but I didn't need to since it was so straightforward. You just hafta complete a certain % of material by each Friday - I used to do it all Friday night and it's doable but I recommend doing it during the week if you don't wanna be on your computer all Friday night.
I strongly believe this is the best professor at JMU. lectures always end 10 minutes early and he goes into deep detail about topics and explains all questions you might have until you understand. homework every week which is an easy grade booster. all tests/exams are exact copies from his workbook so they're super easy. funny and extremely caring.
Literally never had to talk with this professor at all, the class was just on ALEX and there was weekly due dates you have to meet. If you can, try to complete it earlier, but it was a 7-week class anyway, so it wasn't that bad at all. It did help me when I was taking MATH 231, but overall it was fine- kind of annoying to do but nothing too bad.
I absolutely loved KN! Class ends early every day, gives you all the formulas on exams, examples in class, and cares about his students! Highly recommend engaging with him because he is so kind! Four exams, Aleks homework each week (annoying but is helpful in learning), and a workbook that has practice problems for the topics and exams! Take him!
Amazing option for Math 220!! He is always willing to help and is super understanding. There are a few exams and a final, but the workbook you get at the beginning of the semester really helps to prepare for them. There are weekly Aleks assignments to complete, but they are totally doable if you stay on top of them. Would take again!
DO YOUR WEEKLY ALEKS. Please. If you're mid at math like I am, ALEKS will hold your grade up above a B. Anyways, Nashimoto is such a sweet and communicative professor. Compared to other stat profs here, he is above them all. His tests are exactly like the blue activity book he hands out, so show up to class for activity credit and do ALEKS.
For your own sake do not take this professor. He deletes bad reviews. Does not care about his students no matter how tragic the circumstances. Does not respond to email. DO NOT TAKE.
The class was fairly easy as long as you reviewed the practice exams. Aleks is a big part of your grade, so make sure you stay on top of it, at least in the beginning, because it becomes harder to catch up. He is very nice and does care about his students.
Nashimoto is a great and the class is super easy. All you do is complete 5 Pie Progress Checks due every Friday at 11:59 PM and an final assessment (25%) of your grade. The ALEKS is doable unless you keep the hardest topics for the end. DO NOT DO THAT! Overall, easiest online class ever at JMU and communicates quickly. You should def take him!!!!!!
Tbh I forgot I had a professor for this class, the work for Aleks was so clear, just finish the pie. I didn't so that's why I got an A-. Overall I only had an issue with how close the deadlines were, I did stress a bit about it but it's easy, trust. It also should've been expected since it's a 6-week course. Pre-exam and final are camera recorded.
Nashimoto is a very, very easy professor. He grades fairly, and when that is combined with how easy some of his quizzes are, you can very easily end with an A. He is very funny and makes class worthwhile.
You have a certain amount of topics to complete based off your initial test. Every week you need to finish so many, as long as you stay on top of that and get them done early you will be fine.
Nice guy, but doesn't explain his material, leaves you to kind of figure it out yourself. Follow along w notes in class and study/teach yourself outside of class because if you get stuck on one thing its downhill from there. He curves his exams and attendance is mandatory (you're graded on this).
Dr. Nashimoto is one, if not, the nicest professor ive had. Being in his class shows how much he truly cares about his students. He tries to make the class as easy as possible, but i am just not good at math. I did repeat and forgive and Dr. Nashimoto is 100000000% times better then my previous prof. He truly is a sweetheart and wants you to pass.
Nicest professor for this class, while he isn't the best at explaining just follow along with his notes and be prepared to teach yourself outside of class. DO YOUR ALEKS, and attendance is graded (both are easy points). He curves tests and wants you to succeed, try to stay on top of it or you will be so lost. I'm at an A rn, can 100% pass
He is a very caring and organized professor. The only downside is his accent but you will learn to understand him. This is a tough subject but he does a great job teaching and also does practice problems in class. TAKE HIM
By far the best experience with math I've ever had. ALEKS takes time but is straightforward, he was very accessible and provided a lot of study resources. The practice exams in his workbook are almost identical to the exams, and he gives you at least partial credit on every exam question as long as you tried. So so caring, take him if you can!
