Class is super easy just pay attention and study. Make sure to go over old tests, she will let you look at old tests, because I'm pretty sure some of them are the exact same questions for the final which is accumulative. Quizzes every week and of course your labs. Sign up for her early because her classes do fill up fast. Super nice and helpful.

BEST PROF EVER! She knows her stuff well. Very clear with what she expects. If you show up to class, take notes, and study I guarantee you will pass the class with no ease. I never dreaded going to her class. Take her, you will not be disappointed. Its recommended to buy lab and book but I didn't purchase book and still managed to pass!

Dr. Barbee was great! She takes her time to explain to students and does her best to make more complex concepts easily understandable. I felt like I learned a lot in this class that I didn't know already. One thing she does is give students study suggestions and talks about how to approach the unit to do well on the test.

You cannot pass this class without studying.

I took Professor Barbee when the beginning of Covid-19 started so I got to experience her in person and online teaching. With both teaching ways Professor Barbee is amazing her lectures are fun and interactive, but when it comes to online you really have to do your part. She is one of those once in a life time Professors so take her shes a gem!

Professor Barbee is an amazing individual! This was her first completely online course, so her lectures are rather lengthy and the labs can be kind of tedious, with something due every day, except for weekends. LOCKDOWN BROWSER! However, if you listen to the lectures and do the labs, you will ace all of the exams and quizzes with no trouble.

Great Professor as far as knowledge and personality goes. This online course overwhelmingly filled with like 23 labs to be exact, 4 exams, 10 quizzes, PowerPoints and Lectures that must all be completed following the final in 6 weeks and not a self paced classroom. Easy to fail this course in the blink of an eye. She offer Web ex also.

Great instructor. Truly cares about whether students succeed and makes herself accessible. Her lectures are great and very well-explained and honed-in on what you need to know for her class. Only downside is that she's a bit of a slow grader and a bit disorganized, but this is such a weird year I don't count that against her. Overall, superb.

She is a very understanding professor and good at simplifying concepts. Exam questions are straight forward and just require memorization of the material. If you watch her lectures, study, and take advantage of her tutoring hours, you will do great in this class.

There were 4 midterms, weekly quizzes, labs (group or individual work), homework assignments (through pearson), and a final. As long as you study her powerpoints thoroughly, you should do fine on her exams and quizzes.

Professor Barbee is organized, but there are a ton of labs & quizzes. She is a great teacher, but she doesn't offer extra credit, nor will she bump your grade up. Work hard, study, pick a good group to work with. Please make sure you study hard, do every assignment, and do decent on tests. Memorization is key to passing this class. Time-consuming.

This professor is fantastic, especially for an intro course. Her lectures were extremely clear and well-organized. Shes constantly available for help. This was a super easy A as long as you watch lectures and do the work (reading the text is interesting and more in-depth, but not necessary). Honestly if you dont pass, youre not doing the work.

Prof Barbee is hands down the best professor. I will say this class is a WORKLOAD as a 6 wk course. If you fall behind it's hard to get caught up, so attendance is mandatory. Her lectures are great; she goes through all the units/subjects and explains everything perfectly. She is great about answering emails & Webex meetings. STUDY!!!!

Prof. Barbee is a great professor who cares about her students. She was always willing to help you if you had questions. The coursework was a lot but as long as you stay on top of things, it should be fine. Make sure to STUDY and find fun ways to remember things. Overall a great professor, all you have to do is put in the work.

Professor Barbee is a great professor and really cares about her students passing! She made study guides before every test and would provide all the information that will be expected on exams. This was a hybrid class I took in the fall of 2021, and we worked in groups of 4 so the labs weren't done individually at all. She'll help you with whatever!

Barbee is kind, helpful, & organized. Her study guides are literally word-for-word taken from the exam. Despite this, half of my class still somehow failed the first test. Don't go into this class expecting a free grade. You WILL have to study. It's not unreasonable; prof is great and the class is pretty straight forward.

I took this during Summer I, I would recommend the regular session. Challenging but this is a class for science majors and is treated like such! The work you put in is the work you get out. Topics are straightforward but require repetition. The reviews helped me a ton on the exams. Dr. Barbee is kind and willing to help you out on tough topics.

First, I'll say this class was hard. I took it in an 8 week session online. With that being said, I'd take it again in a heartbeat! She cares so much about her students. I learned so much in this class! As long as you put in the effort, you will do great! You also get to work in lab groups which was great! Her lectures were actually enjoyable!

Course is easy all you really have to do is watch the lectures & study. Every week there is 1 lab (maybe 2) and a quiz. There are 4 exams in total which aren't too hard. She puts you into lab groups, but I worked alone because I like to and they were all easy. She is on webex every weekday in case you need help. There is no reason you should fail.

Filled out reviews provided & made them into a Quizlet. That's how I studied for the rest of the sem. Has Webex and will review what you got wrong on a quiz/test/. It honestly wasnt a hard course just put effort into studying bc everything is proctored. First course in a while that I wasn't able to use a secondary source (winkwink) and I did fine.

She was very understanding. She will provide materials such as study guides and reviews to help.

Utilize the interactive review sheets she provides; everything on them is on the quizzes and exams. You have to study! Quizlet worked best for me; just base the questions/answers off the interactive review sheet.

Great teacher. Lectures are very engaging and thorough. Takes time to explain every concept and answers every question asked in class. Cracks a few jokes and is a really laid back professor. LOTS of extra credit built into the class. Study guides are a spitting image of what will be on the test. Also does a great job explaining labs.

4 Exams, 10 quizzes(2 lowest dropped), 17 labs(2 lowest dropped), and a final. Quizzes are based off lecture & exams are based off quizzes. There's no homework, but if you don't study, you won't pass. She has notes you can fill out in class during lecture that are extremely helpful. I'd highly recommend taking Prof Barbee.

Professor Barbee is an excellent professor. She truly cares for her students and wants you to learn her material. She has 4 major exams, quizzes, labs, and final exam. She is not a tough grader, however you have to study hard enough if you want to pass her class.

Prof. Barbee runs a challenging but rewarding class. Lots of exams, quizzes, and labs, but she provides helpful lecture notes and study tips. Stay on top of the work, and try Unstuck study alongside your regular prep - it saved me time and helped me succeed.

Take the 16-wk course; 15 labs 10 quizzes 4 exams. Workload is well paced; labs are done in groups, grading is fair. A mirror is required during quizzes; a small standing mirror would work. She's available daily and responds quickly to emails. She's supportive and genuinely wants her students to succeed. STUDY THE REVIEWS, THEY WILL HELP YOU PASS!
