This is an amazing teacher! she works with ever single student, is very helpful, and understands when work is late. Although her work is mostly on online and super easy. You do have to show up but she lets you go early. There is no reason to get anything less than a A in this class.

This class was straight up inspiration. I had my doubts prior to taking it but I looked forward to it each time. Dr. Mowrey is always motivating and will help if she can or lead you in the right direction. She does not sugar coat things and always applies real life situations. More importantly her class work doesn't interfere with other courses.

Dr.Mowrey is awesome! Her class was mandatory to take before starting classes in my degree plan but I am sure happy that I was in it! Mowrey is very passionate about her job and each and everyone of her students. She knew each one of us by name and remembered our major and interests. Reading the chapters assigned is mandatory if you want to pass!

I have Dr. Mowrey for my EDUC class at first I was a little annoyed we had to take a class that didn't count as credit but when I met Dr. Mowrey she was amazing. She seemed to good to be true. But she has been an awesome teacher she explains herself well, gets the classed involved, and keeps the class entertained. I would Defiantly take again.

She's super sweet, and ready to help whenever you need it. She holds you accountable for your actions, and is very inspirational and supportive.

Mowery was the best teacher ever! it was my SDEV class so she was always positive and a motivated person. She made sure we stayed in college and if we needed help she would be there in a heartbeat. Her jokes are funny, then when she "tries" to be funny its hilarious. You will always leave that class with a smile. It's not boring at all.

You need the book since there are a a lot of online discussions ,quizzes are open book. Very fun interesting class. I wish I could take a million classes from her she is that amazing definitely take her you will absolutely love her. Honestly the only class I looked forward to and am sad its over

Class was really easy. Always gives great feedback. And if misunderstood an assignment she gave me opportunity to correct my answer. Answered emails very quickly most of the time with the hour.

Really easy class and Professor Mowrey just makes it that much more easier. A fun teacher, gives clear cut instructions on assignments and when things are do. Uses canvas and responds fast to any emails that are sent her way. Willing to work with you and anything you may have missed. Definitely take her if you can.

For freshman seminar class I definitely recommend Mowrey! She is super nice and is always enthusiastic. If you need help with anything she is great for advice. Dr. Mowrey was meant to teach! She loves what she does and as a student you see that right away. She is funny, caring and super approachable. Her class has been group work for the most part. Quizzes on every chapter, around 50 multiple choice, very little homework. Read the chapters (YOU NEED BOOK) and participate in class you will be okay! BEST

Dr. Mowrey is such an angel, she is very understanding. As a returning college student from taking a 5 year "break", she made class fun, understanding and encouraged very beneficial study habits. You have to show up to class and turn in every assignment on time to pass. The review quizzes every week are actual questions from the test.

She was wonderful to work with. I am glad that I chose her to be my Student Development professor because she gave great feedback, was motivating in her comments on the assignments and was kind. She gave me mercy when I missed one assignment. I would highly recommend her.

Amazing professor! The course is easy and is very resourceful when it comes to helping with college. There is frequent group gatherings to collaborate about the work and only one presentation. She will be on top of you and make sure you are keeping up with your work at all times.

Despite having taken this class online, she made this class super engaging& EASY. She'll require that you "begin" your assignments by Wednesday to account for attendance since this is an online class. Textbook is required but was included with class. leaves comments/suggestions on all assignments, easy grader and sticks to her syllabus

My highschool teachers would tell me that college teachers are mean but Mrs. Mowrey proved me wrong. She understood my situations that I was in and helped me alot through the process. I've never had a prof. that was as genuine and kind as Dr. Mowrey. Very very easy class. Prof. will go out of her way to make sure her students are comfortable and confident in what they're doing. There is a group project and that was miserable but that's because of the people I was with. Easy assignments & tests that she prepares class for.

Professor Mowrey's education class is a breeze! I took it over maymester and had no difficulty. Lots of reading for quizzes, but the material is easy, common sense.
