Hard class but a lot of fun. She knew exactly what she was teaching and was very helpful. Great personality and probably the best teacher i've had at COD. I suggest taking her class!

Prof always gives an opportunity to ask quest.and explains everything clearly and concisely. Her focus was - teaching us. Whether visual, verbal or written - her priority was - us. She does NOT have an accent at all. Other students agreed when initially we thought we wouldn't understand anything as it is a difficult class. Prof was great.

Expert in her teaching. She knows the subject inside/out, literally! Any confusion, is on the students part and Karen would immediately take the time to explain. Very supportive, knowledgable, no-nonsense but yet very sensitive to giving extra explanations, assistance.

Karen has absolutely no accent and since she is - as far as I know and can see, a 100% American. The truly captivating thing about her class was - I always wondered if she took Speech and such classes, because her lectures were concise, clear - absolutely no um's, hum's etc,. She is tough, but man, you really learn alot!

Mrs. Oliver- Tucci I would say is highly recommended!! She is very clear on lectures and is ALWAYS willing to help to make sure you grasp the concept. Great teaching skills and how all teachers should be!

Anatomy and physiology 1500 with Karan Oliver-Tucci was a GREAT class, with wonderful teaching. Her teaching style is clear, systematic, and fun. Her interest in each system of the human body during lectures was apparent and contagious. The labs were reinforcing and relaxed, yet comprehensive. I loved this class!

For a intro to A&P, thought it was intense. I didn't care for her testing style. She tests over 5-6 Ch. at a time & open lab tests covered even more. Maybe due to the class size, 40 plus students. Not much one-on-one time with the instructor. For me, overload to learn that way. She does give out lecture notes but you must attend class to get them.

An AMAZING teacher. A&P in general is a hard suject with lots of memorization BUT she made it as easy as possible, giving outlines for what you will be tested on and though explainations of subject material. If you have to take A&P, take her class.

I was a college transfer from abroad and I was not able to attend the first 3 weeks of class but Mrs. Karan was considerate enough to let me continue with the class. Take this class IF YOU REALLY WANT TO LEARN. Mrs. Karan explains anatomy so clearly that you barely need the book! Her class is also laid back & fun. One of the best professors at COD!

SHE IS BY FAR THE BEST TEACHER AT COD! At first I was undecided as to how difficult this class would be but she made it easy!! Gives outlines of what comes in her tests, reviews them as well as gives extra credit opportunities! The only reason for me to look at the textbook was to look at pictures and tables maybe 4 times at most! deff recommended!

There is alot of material to learn but if you do just she says, you'll do great. She's very clear about what is required and is very helpful with information. She wants to see you do good. Great experience and fun class.

A&P is a tough subject, but she made it interesting and easy to learn. Gives great notes, always answers questions, uses all sorts of material in class (models, videos). Even though I found science interesting to begin with, it wasn't my forte in school, she changed that, boosted my confidence. The class was a pleasure and I respect her greatly.

An extraordinary teacher. She uses all kinds of learning stylesand techniques to help you understand the material. She is supportive and very knowledgeable. It's a lot of material to cover, but she organizes the material in a way that keeps you on track. She makes the class interesting, not just boring lectures. I actually remember what she taught.

Anatomy is a difficult class no matter who your teacher is. There is a lot of memorization and studying required but Mrs. Oliver-Tucci Has really clear, easy to follow lectures and is there to answer questions. She's also super smart! You will not regret taking her. (register early, her classes fill up quick!)

Just an amazing professor. Go to class, she gives you notes and goes over them. Labs are organized. This is a tough class and requires you to study outside of class. Professor Tucci is very helpful and clear, she wants you to succeed. Very few extra credit opportunities so take advantage when they come! Need the lab manual but don't need textbook.

Overall good prof. Can be a little scatter brainedflustered but doesn't affect the material in the class. Some labs are long, some aren't. Lectures don't run long, you will be there the whole time though. She tells you when to show up for labs, normally there is a class before hers so she needs time to set up. Would take again, would recommend.

A&P 2 is a hard class no matter what, but Professor Oliver - Tucci makes it great to learn. The material is all laid out for you and if you can get that down, then you should have no problem passing the class. You gotta put in the work though no matter what. She's always there to answer questions too

Great teacher, this is a very difficult course with a lot of information thrown at you in a short amount of time. She is always there to make sure she gives her students everything they need in order to pass, but you need to make a lot of effort to study alot out of class.

She does a great job of providing students with support, you'll know exactly what to expect on her tests, she speaks very clearly and is easy to understand. Also she's pretty easy on the eyes which is a nice bonus.

You cannot slack in this class, that will be your downfall. It is not an easy course but it is also not terrifying. Put in the work and you will receive what you strive for. Study and ask questions, that is the best way to go about her class.

Prof. Tucci is a great Anatomy teacher! She goes into detail about everything you learn. She also makes sure that students understand the material. The tests are pretty straightforward, and the homework is easy. I would definitely recommend you take her!!!

Really, really great teacher. The course matter is voluminous and tons of memorization of like 400 terms for 35-45 identifications on practicals. You have to know it all, study very thoroughly. She will prepare you well and then you do all the work to demonstrate you've learned. Just do the work and you'll get that A or B.

Professor Oliver-Tucci is an amazing teacher to have for anatomy and physiology. The class is challenging and requires you to put in a lot of effort. However, if you study the study guides ,pay attention during lecture and study the models for lab you will pass the class with an A or B no problem.

Hands down one of the best professors I have ever had. She is very good at explaining things in a way that makes sense and that you can remember. Everything is crystal clear on the syllbus so if you dont like it, drop the class. I started with a full class & half dropped because they didnt realize how hard it is. She's a very helpful and caring professor. But she doesn't quiz students, which will help students prepare for her exams. She only offers 3 lecture exams, 4 lab exams, and lab worksheets. She makes you do useless lab experiments, she doesn't teach lab material! She will make you study all of it before the exam.

Best professor. This is a hard subject. You will have to put in the work to earn the grade you want. But Professor Oliver-Tucci tells you clearly what she is looking for. It's an Anatomy and Physiology class, you don't show up or pay attention means you won't get a good grade. She really takes the time to thoroughly explain concepts which makes this class a lot easier. She teaches in an order that makes sense and ties everything together. Weekly lab homework and not much else. Just show up, pay attention and STUDY!

Professor Oliver-Tucci is very caring about your success. This class is very difficult. Overall it's annoying that we don't have enough points in the course to bump up our grade. Only 3 exams, 4 lab exams, and 8-10 lab activities accounted for grading. I wish there was more points in the class. Make some TIME and FRIENDS for this class.

Attendance is a grade so show up. The textbook isnt used everyday, however it may help you with homework. The homework is the same weekly, lab manual homework is assigned and then notes we do in lecture. If you show up, fill in the notes, participate in lab its an easy A. The lecture exams are exactly like lecture notes and the lab exams are easy

She is by far one of the best professors I've ever had. It was worth waiting on the wait list to have her again second semester. She gives you lecture notes that you fill in the blanks together in class. Those lecture notes along with the lab manual images are all you really have to study in order to pass her lecture exams and lab exams.

Professor OT is great! This is a hard class so you cant blow it off!! If you put in the work there is no reason you cant get an A in her class. She gives guided notes to follow, always explains things clearly, and is willing to help you outside of class. I would highly recommend her.

I took this class and it was supposed to be a hybrid, but turned to be completely online. The professor is great, she answers your questions clearly. The modules of each unit were accessible and really easy to find. Great professor!:)

I waited years to take her class, unfortunately had to take it online. Pros: She is very caring, thorough, organized and communicative. Cons: She doesnt allow backtracking for assessments, her lessons were usually up Monday, which made me feel rushed to plan out my week. Being online is harder to retain all the information.

Anatomy is a challenging class. You need to put in the time to study the course material in-order to be successful. Mrs. Oliver-Tucci is a fair and enthusiastic professor. Her course is layed out and the syllabus written to benefit the students. Her class will prepare you for your future program of study. Please dont ask for a grade but earn it!

I love prof Tucci and wish she was teaching the second part of Anatomy. Given the situation we are in she did a great job with the online set up. It was easy to follow the instructions and what is expected in class - She is straightforward. She always responded to my email quickly too. You have to put time and effort to get the grade you deserve.

I was very nervous coming back to school after earning my first degree over ten years ago, especially in an online format. The way this course was structured was practically perfect. I always felt engaged by Professor Oliver-Tucci, and nothing about this course was a surprise. It took work, but I never felt like I was unprepared for an assessment.

On line is hard and Anatomy is hard, but if you follow the steps she lays out on Monday, you will get an A on the test come Friday. You MUST do all the homework, but then you bring the homework to the test. So, if you did the homework, the answers to the test are right in front of you.

This was easily one of the best online classes I have taken. Professor Oliver-Tucci gives weekly tests and prepares you every step of the way. As long as you have done what was assigned that week you are golden. Take her if you can!

The whole class is weekly quizzes which ask questions from the lab manual assigned weekly homework. She assigns weekly lab manual assignments and online readings that she will ask questions from. Most of the questions she already gives u in the online OLI reading and lab manual. Just be sure to go to office hours to ask stuff from lab u don't know

Professor Tucci is really a best professor, she will provide you with all the materials during week which make sure you learn thoroughly as she is asking question from each materials also in quiz if you feel that might be your answer is correct & if you justify your view then she will gives a credit for that question. 100 % Recommended Professor!

100% Online. ANAT 1551. Class was average difficulty. I liked the flexibility a lot! Check in on blackboard every Monday to size up the week. Testing follows the notes pretty closely and not many curve balls I did weekly videos and labs first. Then looked at her notes outline. Then did any reading I felt I needed.

Professor O-T was a wonderful teacher! She gave a weekly outline, assigned lab work, OLI reading, and videos to watch. If you do all of the work she assigns you will do well in the class. She has weekly office hours where you can ask questions on the material and lab work. Weekly quiz questions come right from the outline and weekly work.

I took this course online. I really have no desire to sit through anyone's lecture. Anyway, she's great! Her exams are doable, not super easy, but not super hard. I would suggest studying her lecture notes and completing the assignments she give in the lab manual. You'll do great!

Professor Tucci is THE BEST professor I have ever encountered. Anatomy in general is a tough course but she provides in depth notes and explanations with visuals. She made anatomy fun and she loves to see her students exceed. I have to idea why she has bad reviews, she is to caring and hilarious. She replies to emails very quickly! Take her class!

She is more than open to answering questions at the end of lectures or during labs. Work ahead on the labs - you don't get a lot of time during lab to work in the lab manual. Know the visuals - lab exams are impossible if you don't know the material

Explains the topics very clearly and is repetitive which helps us remember and also gives clear instructions. There's a 40 point test at the end of the unit and that is the only thing she grades. Gives study guides which are extremely helpful. Labs are easy. Though she is a bit strict she is helpful and always available when you need extra help.

I almost finish my nursing program in COD. I want everyone to know she is a great teacher. Her lectures are excellent and helpful. Because I took her anatomy classes, which were so helpful for the nursing classes.

Very fair teacher but lots of homework. If you are taking a small course load, you will have plenty of time to do the weekly homework assignments and you will get an A but if you are taking a larger course load, I don't recommend this professor because you will learn a lot but you may risk getting a B. She is firm but nice & experienced.

This is my first time writing a review for any professor, but for Professor OT, I had to because she's an awesome professor, she cares about her students, and want you to understand the material she's teaching. You can see that she's passionate about it. If you do everything she assigns you to do, you will have no problem getting an A.

She was an amazing professor and I would totally take a class with her again. She is very caring for her students and passionate about her profession. Her lectures were always very helpful and detailed. We did have quite a bit of homework since I took a hybrid version of this class but if you can manage your time well it's not that bad.

Prof OT is my all time favorite. I have taken Anat1151 twice with her over the years (had to retake bc too much time pssed for my program). First in person, second hybrid course. She was clear, helpful, and very hands on for visual learners. She is the reason I love anatomy. Outstanding professor, take her if you have the chance.

Professor Oliver-Tucci is truly the best anatomy professor at COD. I have taken anatomy in high school and nobody else explains it like she does. Prof OT is so understanding, friendly, clear, and well-organized. I wish I could take more of her classes again and again. She lays out each week with a clear agenda, however you must stay organized.

Literally the best anatomy proffessor I've ever had ( and I have had 4 other ones, unfortunately ). Please please please take her class because she's literally the reason I passed istg. 1000/10 the best professor ever!!!

Prof OT is an experienced anatomy teacher. The work is manageable, especially with the help of resources like the textbook and unstuck AI. Stay organized, and you'll do well in this class.

Great professor! Go to all of the lectures and study. She goes over the material you need to know thoroughly in lecture. There are quizzes every week but they aren't proctored but you still need to know the material for the midterm and final. Those are a big part of your grade. Make sure you do well on each quiz and you will get a good grade!

Professor Oliver-Tucci is great! She responds quickly if you have any questions regarding the material and gives great lectures. She doesn't collect homework—but you still need to know the material as there are weekly assessments that pull questions from them. It is imperative you go to her in-person reviews as she covers so much. Please take her!!
