Extremely helpful. Had the class as a super Saturday and she managed to make a 4 hour class bearable. Really, really cool teacher, genuinely wants to teach and makes it interesting. Very fair grader, just don't be disrespectful and leave after a break or show up an hour late and you'll be fine. Can't say enough good things.

Very helpful, she's very clear on all of her materials. She wants all of her students to get an A in that class. Easy tests, she makes you read the textbook, but since she goes over all of the materials most of the time, the textbook in not needed. Put on an effort and you'll get an A.

Is an excellent professor, makes class fun and easy! Her tests are multiple choice and after every test she goes over them and ask two questions from the review and if you get them correct she adds 10 points to your test grade! She is extremely helpful and extremely nice I wish I could have her for every single one of my classes!!!!

Professor Bottalico is very straightforward. If you come to class, ready the textbook and review your notes you will have absolutely no problem getting an A. Plus, you will have learned a lot about psych! She gives a lot of extra credit (which a lot of people didn't do) - if you do not score perfectly on the tests, you can always make it up.

I have mild autisim spectum disorder and prof. Battalico was one of the few proffessors that made me feel as if i was doing a good job . favorite class this semester. gives plenty of leeway to everyone, even latecomers. The tests are practically quizzes and she gives a lot of extra credit that is super easy to do and usually during class time. Lectures are clear and she adds funny comments and is very relatable. Professor B was awesome. I took her for the summer session and I thought it was going to suck but it didn't. She takes "polls" for the class so make sure you participate. She wants you to succeed and after the tests she gives you a pop quiz on questions from the test that many people got wrong. She gives so many opportunities to do well. TAKE HER!!

Prof B. was hands down the best professor I've ever had. She made a summer class really fun. The tests are super straight forward, and after EVERY test she re-asks 2 of the questions that were on the test after she goes over every answer, for 10 bonus points! If she taught every psych class I'd probably transfer and switch my major!

Professor Bottalico is on your side and tries her best to work with you. On a few of her tests I circled the right answer and then switched it to something different and she gave me half credit for the question. What professor does that? I would definitely take her class again. And participation is easy. Definitely chose her as you Psych professor!

Amazing Professor actually wants you to get an A. Tests are completely based on lecture material and after every test is a pop quiz of 2 questions from the test which she goes over beforehand for 10 points extra credit. Professor Bottalico is amazing her test are straight forward the online homework assignments are harder than her exams! she gives "pop quiz" after mostly each exam for an extra 10 points on the exam. she makes learning the material fun and easy to understand! Love her ! MUST TAKE HER !

Her Lectures are extremely informative. She gives 3 lectures and then gives out a test. Try to not miss her class , it will help you in the long run. She gives out extra credit. Be prepared to buy the textbook. You will not need it but it's highly required in this class to access the online assignments.

I took a class with Professor Salzman for psych 101 and failed both tests. I ended up dropping the class. Psych was required for my major so a friend of mine recommended professor Bottalico and what a difference! I got a 100 on my first test plus 10 extra credit points! She actually teaches you the material and helps her students understand.

She is the BEST professor for Psychology, you don't want to miss out. Her tests are straight from the notes, which are quite lengthy. She does give pop quizzes, but they are very straight forward. Also, after you get each quiz back she lets you fix two of the answers you had wrong so you can get an extra 10 points.

Honestly one of the best teacher at farmingdale. She gives a very good review before each exam. And gives you a chance to add 10 extra points on the exam. Just show up take notes, study a little and you'll literally get an A. Attendance does impact your grade though.

I was skeptical at first when I was reading through the reviews. However, after having her for a good amount of time, I have to say that she is probably the best professor I had. She gives you opportunities to do well in the class and is very caring for her students. She is definitely on the students' side.

She's AMAZING. Super kind and really wants what is best for her students. Tests are all 20 questions based off 5-6 pages of notes you take. Homework is all online. Don't bother getting the textbook. After tests, you are given the opportunity to add 10 points by taking a 2 question quiz (you will know the answers). Thoroughly enjoyed class.

This professor always makes sure to go above and beyond for her students. She makes sure even if you are shy and don't like speaking during class that you can still get a high class participation grade by simply having the whole class raise their hand. She also makes sure everyone understands the lesson before moving on to the next lesson.

I took her class during COVID. During the conversion she was the only professor that tried to keep class normal through online lectures. I personally didn't like that she set time limits on the online work. After each test she will go over any questions the class wants and then immediately give everyone a chance to get extra more points.

She's a nice lady but she's kinda of passive aggressive, overall there McGraw-Hill assignments that need to be done right before the exam, they help for the exam so make sure you do them also the test you need to study for them as they are a little bit challenging. Study and do the work and you'll pass. Also there is a journal article.
