Absolutely fantastic professor! She is crystal clear, super helpful, extremely knowlegeable, and has a great attitude. I have always had a fierce hatred for math, but her class was not bad at all. Wish I could take her with me for the rest of my math classes!

This professor was AWESOME! I am an older student and was lost wandering into this class. Math is my weakest subject and to date I have a B. I wish I could take her into the rest of my math classes.

She is crystal clear in what she says. If u dont understand the lesson she is willing to stay after class to make sure that u get it. She takes the time 2 make sure things r clear. She is the best teacher & i would recommand her 2 n e 1 that has 2 take a math course. She is a teacher that cares about her students & whats goin on.

Buonocore was great. I was gonna drop the class because i was doing so bad and she told me to hang in there and she helped me turn a 40% into a 73%. she really cares and takes the time to make sure everyone understands. I think shes one of the few at edison who knows what shes doing

Prof.B was awesome.She makes sure you ask questions if you do not get it.She can usually tell if someone is lost by their expression and she makes you tell her what you are lost on. I highly recommend this teacher if you are at a lost with math.

professor b. is a great teacher, and she cares about her students' learning. if you do the homework, and come to class:she will help you with anything you need. she is pretty good about reading people if they are confused. so ask your questions!!!!

Professor B is GREAT! I took her spring semester & if your not that good in math and you want to learn and understand it she is who I advise to take. Her class is very easy, she is helpful and knows when your confused and not understanding it so just ask questions. You must have a textbook even though she will walk you through it all.

She is a very understanding and amazing teacher. I would highly recommend her.Iwas super mad at math but she helped me understand step by step. She cares about your success. She really wants to help you understand math,even if it takes her five times to explain it to you she really wants to help you no matter what. I passed the class with a B!

Prior to taking this class I had no interest whatsoever in math. I hated math because I have never been good at it. I took the class because I had to. Professor Buonocore was amazing. She made me want to learn. If you have concerns about the ability to learn math, I highly recommend her.

I was scared to come back to college math but Professor B made is so easy I got a A+ in her class and the opportunity to test out of the other math courses. Like the other comments say, keep your phone in your pocket!

Professor Buonocore teaches with ease, knows all her stuff and is available in quick time. Her teaching style is easily adaptable to students of all levels. It was a no frills 8 a.m class but i enjoyed it nonetheless and am thankful for the opportunity to learn from her. Highly recommended.

I did not pass her class because im not so great in math. I felt that she was a great teacher and was very helpful. I did great in the beginging of the class but then my grade began to drop. We used the book so buy it and you must do online homework. Not a hard class

BEST. TEACHER. EVER. Before her I HATED math and always failed. Now I actually look forward to learning about math and I think this might be my favorite class. She has so much enthusiasm and you can tell she's passionate about teaching. HIGHLY recommended.

Professor B is such an amazing professor who knows her stuff! She is passionate about teaching and will make sure you understand everything! She makes sure her students pass! I am glad to say that I am taking her next semester as well!

Shes a really good teacher she is always there for you whenever you need her help. A very easy class she makes sure you understand every subject matter she teaches. 3 test a few pop quizzes and a final no need for the book

It was a pleasure to take Intermediate Algebra with Professor Buonocore. She's kind-spirited and has a passion about math you can feel. She will really use each minute of class time to assure our understanding of the material, which could sometimes be inconvenient although ultimately helpful. Assignments are online, but attendance is graded.

Professor Buonocore is one of the best professors. She breaks every math problem down if you do not understand something. She also always helps you with your assignments. She is also very opened to questions. Before I took this class I sucked at math. But after I took her I received a B. I would take her for every math class if I could. Take her.

Amazing professor

One of the sweetest teachers I have ever had at FSW! She really cares about your grade and bettering you for future math courses. And she is also just a really caring person in general.

Everything we did for homework was all on MyLabsPlus and the she always posted the lectures on doc sharing. She'll give out a few quizzes before tests and always wants work. Her pace is perfect if you're not good at math and if you're having trouble, her office is always open. She actually wants to help you and makes math less torturous.

Okay. Prof B is great. But if you take her class you need a lot of time on your hands. She gives quizzes, her exams are short answer and multiple choice. She does binder checks throughout the semester. Also the homeworks for each section that is covered one day is due by the very next class meeting. The notes are also up on my labs plus.

Grading scale/weighting posted in online grade book, tallies as you go, so you always know how you're doing (class done in My Labs Plus). She responds quickly to emails and is very willing to help. Definitely recommend this teacher; I'd take her again.

If you struggle with math I would suggest taking Professor Buonocore. If you don't understand something, she will explain it during class. Plenty of review before each exam. It's a math class so yes, there will be an abundance of homework. If you show up to class and do the mylabsplus work you will pass. No extra credit, it's not high school.

There is an unlimited attempt on my lab plus homework and you have a full week to do it. She explains every step in class and wants anyone to ask questions if you do not understand, she truly cares about you. She gives extra credit opportunities during group activities in class. But, come to class cause it's part of your grade.

The notes she gives in class are great, she goes step by step for every problem. Always happy to help, and responds to emails very quickly. Easy to pass if you do the homework and pay attention

Amazing professor. I took all her math classes. She really teaches step by step so you understand the problem. If there is something you struggle on, she has an open door and is always giving you a chance to make up. I wanted her for my next math class, but she doesnt teach it :(

I cannot stand math and I loved her class. Show up, take notes, and you'll retain the content. She's so nice and understanding. I'm taking her other class next semester. She is so sweet! She's very organized and keeps you in the loop for everything!!!

She is a good professor, there isn't much interaction with her if you take it online . Watch the lecture videos, do the assignment. Not too difficult, but if you do need extra help she is willing to work with you.

If you can do basic math, this course will be easy. Proctario is used for some chapter quizzes and all exams. My MathLabPlus provides mini lectures, the professor uploads some notes time to time. She also sends out mass email of to-do assignments every week. Take notes on the lectures, complete the assignments and you will do great!

At first, I was wary of her class. I've never been good at math, and I passed all of my HS math classes with a low C every year. But this professor is an amazing teacher. I learned so much in her class, and I was genuinely proud of myself after every test because my scores were getting higher. You won't regret her class.

online course, if you can do basic math this course will not be hard. Quizzes are proctored but she gives enough time. Modules are clear and MathLabPlus is easy to understand. The professor sends notifications to remind you what is due during the week. If you have any questions, she is there to answer.

Prof B helped me a lot this semester and honestly wants everyone in her class to do well. She doesnt put up with any BS and if you dont want to be there An you dont try, you will fail. She is available for help a lot and is up front on what you need to do to pass the course and gives advice for the next level. Lots of time for quizzes and tests

Im not very good at math, but she was always there to help me with anything I needed help with. Definitely recommend taking this professor, and if you arent good at math I wouldnt take it online as I had a hard time doing this online class.

The class was a great review of basic math. Just make sure to turn in homework and dicussions on time. Honestly, great course.

Very understanding and gave multiple extensions on assignments and tests. Does have a lot of hw assignments like 3-4 a week, but pretty easy mostly cause the course knowledge isn't that intensive. Not much extra credit offered.

Honestly easiest math class I have ever taken. If you take her online course, she will not be the one teaching you; some lady from a 90's video will. If you are someone that learns best from videos and mathXL I definitely recommend this class. The only thing is that her exams are proctored, so if you want to get a passing score, make sure to learn.

Taking Professor B's class was super chill. She set up weekly due dates for MyMathLab assignments at the beginning but eventually unlocked everything to be due by the end of the semester, which was great since they were a big chunk of my grade. She's always available when I email her and is nice. Module tests are easy and based on MymathLab.

Professor Bunocore is a sweet lady. Every week she posts an annoucment making sure what has to be turned in. There is about 6-7 assignments every week. The assignments aren't hard they just take a while to finish. Don't even think of slacking....it'll just make your life harder in her class. She is very responsive and wants her students to pass.

Professor Buonocore is a good professor for math, personally I'm personally not a math person but if you are then her class would be great for you! She is very precise with her grading and proctored tests and if you are late on anything it'll drop your grade quite a bit. She's straightforward and does by her syllabus which is pretty great.

Mrs. Buonocore's rules were simple: complete your homework assignments and you will do well on the chapter quizzes. First two chapters were fairly smooth but the work becomes difficult (# of assignments given) however, throughout the course, the teacher provides PowerPoint slides and small lecture videos that are relevant to each chapter.

The class overall was quite easy. Some of the mathlabs can be quite long and time consuming but other than that I liked the class. In order to pass the tests, you must know how to solve and find the solutions. All of the tests are proctored.

Her classes are done via a 'mastery-based' system, meaning advancing through the course was entirely in your control BUT that you could only move to the next lesson once you got a passing grade. Made math easy to understand this way, and very forgiving if things go wrong. Only critique is proctored exams, but more a fault of the school than her.
