Very Esay as long as you do your labs in full you pretty much get an a without your test scores.

As long as you show up every day and do all of your assignments you will do just fine. All the assignments are easy you just have to complete all your work and turn it in on time. She does not accept late work. If you like to slack a little and not show up for class find another teacher.

This professor is very out there. As long you stay on her good side and do the work, you will pass with a c of higher. Beware she is very scarstiac, does not play with homework, and will embrassed you if you don't follow her rules

I am glad taht I had her. You have to want to learn to understand her. She just wants us to succeed. She uses analogies, I like when teachers do that it helps the info. stick. You have to ask questions and don't wait until the last minute. If you are good at following directions then you will do great.

Overall, in Professor Cowden class I enjoyed the learning atmosphere and the many things I obtained knowledge in. I am more competent at college level reading and even though it was challenging at times, I loved the fact that she allowed us to become more open-minded when it came to reading. Relativiely easy class. She will not repeat herself if you are late. Every bit of info. is important. Teacher is vary helpful if you devote your time to the class. Pushes you to do your best which has been helpful to me. She likes everyone to participate and would call on you if you don't do so which is good because it keeps you listening although I don't like the pressure of being called on. Labs are time consuming but has to be done. She is very nice to all her students. The exit exam is a breeze.

Prof. Cowden its a great teacher. She had everything planned the whole class on the calender, which was very easy to read..If you failed her class then you didn't put any effort in doing your work. Not that hard, but a good about of homework/labs. I would def take her for another class if she taught anymore.

ONLINE: She was extremely friendly and eager to help in any way. A lot of students including myself needed additional help and she provided us with the resource to receive help. I had questions about my grades and no matter how many e-mails I sent to her she always replied and eager to offer assistance. I would take her course if I had to again.

Professor Cowden was a good teacher. One of the few, in my opinion, that had the class engaged everytime we entered.We were a small class this semester and we all were pretty close by end of class. She made it interesting, helpful, and guided us all the way through. I took her class twice, Reading 1 and 11. I would highly recommend her class!

Professor Cowden is a great professor. She taught reading from her perspective, the book, and online which made it much more interesting and understandable for me. At times she'll be tough but it's only to better you in the long run. She's a heart warming professor and always has the class engaged with her teachings. Her office is always open!

Professor Cowden is the best teacher I ever had. She had so much patience with me when I was pregnant and gave me so many options so I could try and pass her class. Even though I was not able to complete it ( I was in labor and broke water while the final exams were in session), I would take her class again because she cared and understood me.

I took her for a flex start class and it was the biggest mistake of my life!!! She is an okay professor but very dramatic. If you're willing to learn she will teach you. But you have to be ready for a lot of work. I would recommend this class if you're a dedicate student.

If you are doing this online (First time, its not easy at first when you have to learn how to use different websites and so on. However, every time I needed help or I'm loss. The professor help me, every time. All you have to do is print out her syllabus and follow the directions, if you can do that then you can take her class.

Course material is fairly easy, although at times a bit challenging sometimes. There is definitely a lot of work. But overall a good class to take. When I needed help Professor was very considerate and helped me out.

I took this class because is mandatory for international student; however, it was a great experience because this class was more than an usual reading class. We use a website for homework and practice. In one occasion, the website was giving me problems and it wouldn't let me log in, while this problem was being fixed buy the company, she checked in with me every day for one whole week, and let me complete exercises from the book so I didn't lose any credits/homework. She's there for her students 100%.

Karen is a really good teacher. It's a very interactive class. Her explanations are really good and she gives a lot of opportunities to get a good grade, but you need to work for it. I took this class during Summer B (2-month class). The professor is very passionate and caring. There are many assigments throughout the week but they are interesting. The professor is tough on grading bc she wants everyone to succeed and learn in her class. She will reward hard-working students when she sees it, which is very motivational.

Professor Cowden was an amazing professor, easily the best I have had. She is very caring and compassionate regarding your well-being, very easy to contact and responds very quickly no matter the time. As for the work, if you purchase the text and read the chapters, the work is very easy. Typical discussions and quizzes, 3-4 essays.

The class was one credit course, she utilized a site called "Test camp" Dr. Karen was very polite and clear. If you are having bad week she will reach out to you, she also allowed some makeups for the work if you needed.
