Awesome teacher! She is so funny and really helps us relate really old literature to today's issues. I would totally recommend her and if I had any more literature classes left to take then I would take her again. She makes the class so much fun and keeps everyone invloved and laughing.

She is a great teacher. Very funny. Has wonderful stories about her life and relates to her students very well. Ms. Dodson is wonderful. Her class is easy to pass but its NOT an easy A. She NO longer revises papers prior to turning them in and she will let you slide a FEW days on late grades but not MONTHS. Class participation is recommended. You write 4 essays and 1 research paper. Your grade is based on essays. Magnificant woman! U will learn 4m her!

This teacher loves literature and poetry. This class is dry, but she makes it worth while to come to class. I learned alot from her, and she is a pleasure to be around. This the best english teacher on campus by far. She loves what she teaches and she wants you to enjoy it as well. LOVE HER! She is so relaxed and makes writing fun! I took her hybrid class and she made it really interesting. You do some readings on your own and then she will go over it in class if you did not understand it. She does 3 papers within the class , but she makes it clear what she wants and gives you all the tools to make it right. Very fair grader!

Professor Dodson is the easiest and most helpful english teacher you will ever have! No reading quizzes and all of her assignments were easy! 1 vocab quiz, 2 essays, 1 research project, and the final exam. That's it! Best professor, hands down!

The most inspiring professor :) Easy A. Very understanding. She doesn't make you write 10-12 page essays, only 3-4 short response essays (2 pages minimum). Final exam is a poetry portfolio (very easy because you get to work on it the last month of the semester). Overall, she was great compared to other English professors.

Cool professor, always comes to class with a smile on her face. Assignments are decent, must put some effort into it. Final is just a poem. Just one test and it was vocab. All other assignments were writing ones. Shes funny too.

I took her online World Lit II class and she is one of the sweetest professors you will ever have! Nice about missed deadlines, and does not take much credit away for late assignments. She gives good feedback on discussion posts and writing assignments. If you have to take a literature class, I HIGHLY recommend her! She will help you get an A!!!

Honestly, at first I was not a fan of Professor Dodson, her class is almost too easy. It's basically like taking an English class in elementary school. The first week she was teaching about how to write a sentence, so if you're not great at English or writing this is the class for you. Super nice though and definitely cares about her students.

SHE IS AWESOME! I was a freshman this year and this was my first semester. Her class was not difficult if you went to the writing lab to get them to check your papers. She really cares about her students and she makes you feel comfortable speaking and asking questions. It was a nice transition into college. I would definitely take her again!

Love Professor Dodson. She truly cares about her students in any shape or form. This was an online class with mainly discussion questions and quizzes. Quizzes were 5 questions and discussions were a paragraph. 1 paper which was 3 pages and a annotated bibliography at the end for the final grade. Overall, an awesome class with a awesome professor.

Dodson is incredible! She has a huge heart for her students and it shows. She is incredibly clear on what she expects. There are only 4 papers, and they are all fairly short. Has a few short quizzes on D2L. Her lectures (or as she calls them, her "preachings") are empowering. The final is a take-home poetry assignment. Take her if get the chance!

Even though this was my first semester of college, I do not think I will ever have another professor like Professor Dodson. She actually cares about your comprehension of the materials and makes sure you understand how to write an essay. You will have to work hard, but with her and the writing center's help, you will succeed!

In Professor Dodson's class, we watched Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, and Harry Potter. We had three papers (one on each movie), a final paper and a final presentation. Definitely take Dodson for ENGL 1102. Easiest class ever as long as you follow her outline for writing.

Absolute baller. Easy discussions and essays, easy tests. Take this prof if you want an easy A. Also great at communication and very understanding.

This might be the easiest class I have ever taken, to be honest. 3 papers, and the final paper is a combination of all of them. Only 4 or 5 discussion posts through the whole semester. She's a very easy grader; I got an 100 on a Star Wars paper though I have never seen it (I know, don't judge). The proctored activity is movie night, so no midterms.

Has a smoking prob and keeps coughing problem. Kinda gross. but a good teacher over all. I mean, we just watched movies basically and wrote papers on them. We read after, the Harry Potter series, and many other fictional classics! After and some of the Harry Potter books werent required, but theyre a good read anyway. Shes a great teacher take the class!
