AWESOME TEACHER if you like Psychology! Class was a little time consuming but, I have learned SO MUCH! She prepares you for all your tests almost to where you hardly even need to study! Totally fair teacher and is willing you help you anytime you need help! =] LOVED HER!!

Wow, what a great class. Eso is a great teacher. You can tell she enjoys her stuff. She is very helpful and understanding. If you do the work, you can easily make it. I would choose her again in a heart beat.

Great teacher. The tests were easy, but the time given is tight (for essay and multiple-choice). She seemed to be a little disorganized at times. I would recommend her for this class.

Yes, she is very funny and very outgoing! The main grades are homework (which are very short and easy) but, you must go to class to get the assignment. I felt that most of the tests you really have to read the chapter on your own. Also, this class was definintly one of those that everyone talks about personal stories--very annoying!!!

She is an amazing teacher! Research methods is such a confusing course, but she breaks it down to help you understand it in a better way. She makes the class fun and I enjoy my time while I'm there. Mid term and final, with a lab project over the entire semester and she guides you through it all. I would recomend her to everyone!

What can you say about her besided the fact that she's funny, outgoing, smart, helpful and all that other stuff. This was one of the most interesting clasess I have taken. I think I did well because I could remember all her funny dances and stories about terms. Never a dull moment in her class.

I absolutely loved this professor. I've never had a prof. who can make the entire class laugh out of their seats every wk. Fun, interesting lectures esp when it comes to her kids. A little scatterbrained but worth it, to take her class. I'd take her again. Easy hw's, test were average. No attendance needed.

She's the most fun professor in the whole school. Ask anybody who knows her!! If you're a serious student don't take her, but if you wanna have some fun then definitely do so. There's a midterm and a non-cumulative final, which are not hard but there's a tons of info. You definitely need the book for the midterm and the final.

This class is kinda difficult but she is very funny and does her best to teach the material. Everyday class is enjoyable, and she always tells stories about her 2 sons. Need to study for the tests, but very enjoyable class.

My favorite teacher I've had in college. She's enthusiastic, which makes the class fun. Lots of easy homework that helps your grade. Midterm, Final, and 10 page research paper. The paper isn't so bad, you can pick any topic you want. It's a fun and pretty easy class - definately recommend!

Incredibly and genuinely funny, she makes potentially awkward material absolutely hilarious. She's enthusiastic and will have your attention the entire time. I was initially squeamish about taking a college sex class, but I couldn't imagine it being taught any better than this. Truly a great class!

Awesome, just awesome. She is by far the only one who could make the monotonous material in 230 any fun. She is 100% dedicated to her students and was always very helpful and flexible with assignments, midterm, and final. The hardest part was writing the research proposal but she helped me every step of the way. Great class and awesome teacher!

Best teacher, hands down. Uses an online book that is very easy to read. Weekly assignments from the reading are online and discussed in lecture. She gives a study guide for the midterm and final which are easy if you study and pay some attention in class. Research paper was difficult. She is great about meeting outside of class.

Professor Eso is fantastic! She makes class very interesting and she has a great sense of humor! I was apprehensive about taking a night class because I thought I'd fall asleep, but it's practically impossible to fall asleep in Eso's class! She's full of energy and very entertaining. Prof Eso is a really funny teacher who you can tell loves to keep her class interesting and involved! We had two presentations and 2 research papers and observation papers. The HW got to be a bit excessive sometimes, but overall it was a good class.

The class is easy if you keep up by coming to class and do the assignments. Eso tells life stories to make the textbook info relate-able, showing examples of Human Development in real life. She could do better, though. She sometimes forgets to put up homework. I'm not sure if that is good or bad.

Awesome professor! Had a 2 hour 45 min class but it was rarely boring. By far the funniest professor I've had and she is always willing to help with any problem. Easy class as long as you pay attention during the lectures. The exams are simple but make sure you write good papers, they are key in passing this class. Well worth the work though!

We had 2 essay (at least 4 pgs long)2 Tests midterm and final (multiple choice) & short essay question. She gives examples from her own life experiences 2 make the learning fun. I had her for a 3 hr lecture and never got bored she is like watching stand up comedy. She is brilliant and hilarious! I had her for the 3 hour lecture. The time would just fly by. She is entertaining and funny. She does a quick write up each class for attendance. There's 3 essays, a mid term and final. And only about 6 homework assignments. Really easy and a great class to take. I'd definitely recommend her to everyone.

She is funny you would love her class. There are couple of in class assignments which are 10 points each, 3 papers, a midtern and a final. If you related that course with your life you would do fine. I would miss her class. Make sure to attend class because you never know when she would do in class assignments.

She is fantastic teacher! She will guide you through creating a research proposal. If you do everything she assigns throughout the semester, you will have an easy time piecing together your proposal because she had you do it in piecemeal. She makes the long classes go by quickly!

This Professor is INCREDIBLE. She made a daunting class soo fun and easy. Her personality made me want to come to class every day. There is a big paper due at the end of the semester that she personally works on with each student basically from day one until its due. She's amazing. I wish she could teach all of my classes.

I have enjoyed this class so much. I am currently in her psych of sex class. She is hilarious. Lectures are NEVER boring. She assigns A LOT of homework. She is only a hard grader on short essays - everything else is easy. Exam questions are pulled out of homework practice quizzes and essay questions are from class discussion. Super fun class.

I had her for HD 101 and PSYCH human sexuality. She is a tough grader, and assigns a decent hand full of homework assigments. with that being said TAKE HER IF YOU CAN :)

Had her for my Human Sexuality class. She is funny and keeps the subject light. I enjoyed taking her class and listened to her funny lectures. Homework is super easy - McGraw connect reading and online assignments. The multiple choice test are online and the next day you have an essay portion. Also, have a final paper (5 pages) at the end.

Not an easy class, but Professor Eso always makes sure everyone is busy with something to do. Class isn't mandatory, but it's a class you can't really miss. Always something due in or before class. Entertaining professor and encourages people to attend office hours.

She is a reasonable professor. She sets up students and the class for success. There is no reason why you should fail her class unless you never go to class and don't do any of the work.

DO YOUR WORK and you will get an A. I guess this truly goes for any class, but for Stats you need to practice to understand the material. She is extremely helpful, you just need to ask. She is full of knowledge and has an open door policy. She made learning fun, especially the mock proposal you work on all semester.

She makes the lectures funny and interesting but there is a lot of work out of the online textbook. Each (long) chapter has 50+ practice questions you're required to do plus a written assignment she assigns for each chapter. She has three online multiple choice exams and multiple in class essay questions for the exam. Also one short 5 page paper.

Professor Eso is amazing. The class is tough, but fair. She will go above and beyond to help you, as long as you're doing your part. She teaches you how to read a scholarly article the right way, and she is crystal clear about expectations. There aren't any gotcha moments- she wants you to succeed.

She is the best Stats 230 Professor. She is dedicated to all her students. If you put an effort in the class it will pay off. She will notice and plus you learn more. This class was not easy, with that said you must keep up with the work. She will tell you herself, "do small pieces at a time, and you will be successful and less stressed."

I've had her twice in the past year, and overall she is a good prof who knows what she is talking about. Her assignments are easy, the tests are fair and all her classes are based on a student curve rather than the overall point total. She is definitely a prof worth taking if u want to learn something interesting and laugh bout it at the same time.

Ms. Eso as a person is a real gem. However, as a teacher she is super disorganized, and gets on tangents pretty frequently. In general, you could pretty much pass this class just reading the textbook. Pretty good interesting class, but wonky organization.

Eso is one of the best professors I have had. She is very funny but even more so she has a giant heart and is very passionate about her job. She can tend to drift during her lectures. She does expect students to produce college level work. Students must read and study for exams outside of class, not what I would call "an easy A". A must take class

Online assignments for textbooks (20 question weekly quizzes), one 5 page paper, and other weekly assignments (2 plus pages). Non-PSYC majors may struggle a bit, particularly those majoring in a humanities subject rather than a science. She likes facts, figures, and stats. Shes an amazing lecturer, but can be a bit of a tough grader. Ok overall.

Wonderful professor! I have had the privilege of taking Professor Eso my first semester at CSUSM and she made my transition from a community college to a university a fun one! I loved her lectures, most of the time she would tie in personal stories to help us grasps some points. I recommended her to all my fellow psy & chad majors.

Shes a strong feminist and really funny. A few assignments but its easy, and you dont need to buy a textbook. Highly recommend her!

One of the kindest professors i've ever had tests are online on the lock down browser and for the most part really easy if you use your resources. Also the homework is just the connect from the e-book which takes me about 15-20 minutes to do. an amazing professor i want to take every class with her. A class that you actually retain information.

I took this class from 7-9:50 PM and usually I would be dying by the end of the day but her class made the time fly by. Exams are online, attendance is not mandatory but she grades papers hard and if not written correctly you have to re-write.

I took her asynchronous human sexuality class and enjoyed it. She offered zoom meetings for lectures even though the class was asynchronous and they really helped a lot. Her lectures are engaging and interesting. She had some personal issues this semester so we skipped a lot of the syllabus. There's 3 main papers in her class but we only did 2.

Im so bummed because she's so sweet and was so nice in the beginning of the semester, but she had personal issues and basically was MIA the entire semester. We only had 4 assignments until the last two weeks when she added 4 more. She is really flexible, just wish l was able to experience her class more!

Eso is kind and flexible. She works with her students and loves what she does, however she can lag on grading material. I understand where she came from this semester because of everything that has happened, but I would recommend to just chill on grading. She will get to it. Its a fun class and if you choose to watch the lectures then great!

Karen is great and the class is very fun overall. Its currently April and only assignments have been graded when there has been 2 each week the whole semester. A lot of your grade is based on 3 papers. It just sucks, I dont know my standing in the class when it is almost over. Only work is the 3 papers, weekly assignments and exit tickets. Not bad

Professor Eso is probably the best professor I have ever had! If you're not really great with memorization but super great with concepts, definitely take this course. There are no exams or anything multiple choice, just weekly prompts and a few essays/projects. She is such an amazing lecturer and is such a sweet person.

I loved taking this class and professor Eso made it so fun and interesting! There are no tests and she gives us options on when we turn in our weekly assignments and there is one paper and one project. She is very passionate about teaching which makes it so easy to learn as a student. Definitely recommend her!

She is the best :) My fav psy professor. She made me love gerontology. She is so funny, she keeps the lectures interesting and she cares a lot about the students. The class isn't hard, you just have to do 3 papers and some online homework, but nothing too hard. Really if you have the opportunity take it is the best !!!!

The best professor I meet so far. She is so hilarious. The class was very easy to understand not difficult homework o reading to due. No group projects or presentations and she really care about students.

Amazing professor! Teaches quality life lessons and facilities great class discussions, helped us plan for retirement, and ensured we had knowledge to avoid poverty as elderly people. Gives good guidance and help for main three papers. She even makes cake to bring to class! I have never learned such quality life lessons from another professor.

Professor Eso inspires the students to expand their thinking in her lectures. Her books are provided free online. Attendance is expected. She's flexible and accommodates absence when needed, so it isn't stressful. Professor Eso gives a lot of helpful feedback on the papers she assigns.This professor goes above and beyond to help her students.

I loved Professor Eso! She's hilarious and you learn actual important things about aging like how to care for your older relatives. People are complaining that they didn't learn but I think it's because they're just used to definitions and verbatim slides. I left feeling super well-versed and aging. She loves her students and will even bring cake!

Her lectures are very interesting and interacting. I would recommend professor Eso to anyone. If you have the option to take her for any psychology classes, do it.

Professor Eso was amazing! For this class what she did is lecture on highly interesting topics and then discuss with the class on it. No tests, no quizzes, no studying. This class has 3 large papers and one 1 page review at the end. The papers can be daunting but Prof. Eso breaks them down into easy to understand, and write, chunks.

Professor Eso is an amazing teacher, she shows so much care for her students and truly just wants to see us succeed. She tends to go a bit off with personal stories but they always relate back to the course. There's never any exams just papers and a project which is a very strict grader on.

Professor Eso is great, she isn't super formal when lecturing and tries to keep you engaged. She does care about her students and that they learn the material. The class is a "feminism class", but that isn't saying it's a bad thing, it's just important for people to know what they're signing up for. Two large papers, worth a lot of points.

Prof. Eso was extremely funny and well informed! The course itself was interesting and not very difficult! You have 1 writing assignment a week that doesn't normally exceed one page long. 2 major essays that are both not very difficult.

This is one of the best professors on campus hands down. She is kind, interesting, and keeps things real world and current. She does not read off the slides or force you to memorize things. She makes you think about how you are effected in the world and what your presence has to offer. 3 papers, small writing assignments, no tests, no quizzes.

Prof. Eso is really nice and funny, but the class felt a bit disorganized at times. She tends to go off on tangents and didn't grade anything until the end of the semester so it was hard to know what she expected from our work. Attendance isn't mandatory but try not to miss class, because she does small in-class assignments for credit.

She aligns personal experiences to course material and understandably, it is difficult for some to comprehend. She is very clear on what she asks for (no definitions: DEBATEs! ). This class can be difficult for some, but with AI, you can get the help you need on making strong sentence transitions/structures. She is amazing and helpful.

Professor Eso is extremely passionate & funny. Classes were engaging. The class style always felt more like a big conversation rather than lecture which I appreciated. She makes class entertaining, and we talked about important topics that really matter. My only complaint was that she didn't really put in grades throughout class (at least for me).

She is the kind of person who genuinely loves and enjoys what she teaches. You can clearly see she is so passionate about the topic and likes teaching students the new information. I learned so many things from this class + got to dive into topics you never would think to learn about. Workload was easy since it's based on what you want to research.
