Easy professor, she is clear and helpfull. She tells you exactly what to study for the exams and doesn't grade hard. she also has a great attitude and sense of humor. Easy A if you do all the HW.

Great teacher! Study the reading, try your best on your presentations, and the student will succeed.

You will receive a good grade as long as you do the work. Work load is very easy.

If you do the homework assignments and study the material she inform you will be on the exam, you will pass the class.

Excellent Professor. I enjoyed this class. Easy assignments, 1 Resume, 2 Oral Reports 2 quizes, Final, oh, and group project but you are graded on your part only. She has a great command of the subject but can go off topic.

This teacher is great, came as a surprise because course listing said "Staff". Find her for this course, you won't regret it. She gives you the exact answers to the test if you show up to class. You'll have oral reports, it is a business communication course, but you pick the topic. Her class is as fun as it gets based on your subject matter.

She cracks jokes all the time. She only lectured on 3 chapters for the whole semester,total of 3 scantron 30 questions tests,1 of them was take home, Awesome teacher, very helpful. You do have to turn in easy homeworks every time, which is graded but very easy. 2 speaches (2 and 3 mins each) and 1 group presentation. Easy class!

she is fabulous!! she treats you with respect, and is always having a good time. her class is interesting, and the oral reports are really fun. the group presentation may seem intimidating but its actually pretty fun and creative. best teacher i have had!!!

OMG! She is super cool. This class was so easy. I would advise anyone to take this class. We had a lot of work and a couple of group projects but it was still cool. Basically she gave the students lots of options on how the class was going to be run.If the homework was late she wasn't too hard on you if at all.

This professor is a blast! Really cares about students and allow students to make up exams and homework even once the semester is over! She replies her email and will scan your homework with correction and send them via online. She is awesome! and I sure learned a lot in her class for such little time. Will retake her class at any given opportunity

Karren Lugo was very helpful and fun teacher. She is awesome. You have to do the homeworks every week, 3 tests and 2 individual speeches and 1 group presentation. Fairly easy class. She is very helpful with building your resume. Fun class. I highly recommend her.

EASY, but there is a lot of unnecessary weekly assignments! That really got on my nerves, it felt like busy work. She highlights exactly what will be on the test. Instead of research papers, she has you do oral presentations. Take her!

She has you do 2 drafts of your resume with cover letter,gives 3 tests,2 oral speeches,a paper based on the group presentation, she gives homework,and a group presentation on a product to market in another country. Attendance is mandatory. She tell you what questions will be on the test. Lugo is a nice effective teacher, so take her. I got an A.

Super easy class. I took the 6 week summer class and I had to go 2 days a week, I never minded going because it was actually fun! She makes it fun and tells funny stories and jokes. She is really down to earth and nice. The class had great content to use for future about communication and your resume. the tests were easy and all the work was easy.

Best teacher at Dominguez Hills. Shes so kind and is a great role model for anyone getting into business. 2 speeches and homework assignments all very easy to do if you stay on top of it. She gives you the time you need to get things done. Best teacher for this subject.

Great teacher. I absolutely recommend her to anyone who needs a Bus300 class. There is about one or two assignments a week due but they are very easy to do. If you don't turn in an assignment you can turn it in late. Lectures about what will be on the quizzes so you need the book for notes. There are 2 speeches as well but they are very easy.

I would recommend taking Lugo for BUS 300. The only drawback to the class is the amount of homework given. However, the homework is easy and can be turned in late. There are two speeches which can also be done at a later date. Her quizzes are straight out of the book which you need in order to highlight the sections. Lugo is very funny and cool.

Lugo is an outstanding professor! She is there to teach and enjoys every minute of it. Do the work, go to class (you'll enjoy it trust me) and you will get an "A". She loves to talk about her personal life...and just recently became a grandmother for the first time. I wish more professors were as amazing as Karen Lugo. Take her class, very helpful.

5 essays 3 grammar tests. you redo the essays 3 times, pretty easy class. funny teacher. ask for her help if you are struggling. her first essay she grades really hard, dont let that scare you!

Professor Lugo is AWESOME. Since I didn't pass the last BUS300 class, I ended up having to retake it & in 2 modules...I can honestly say that she made me want to do the work. I failed BUS300 because I didn't have the right Professor to catch my interest. Professor Lugo is clear & concise, she answers any questions you have without attitude.

Professor Lugo is awesome ! She's so nice and makes learning fun ! This class we had to do a persuasive speech and also a group project. The group project is a little pointless since it's all made up. Also book work and aplia, over all pretty easy.

She's really fun and wants to improve your writing! Just follow her suggestions and you will be just fine!

Super nice and helpful. Only met once a week and each class (301 & 302) last only a couple weeks so attendance is mandatory in order to pass. Online work and out of the book work. Pretty simple stuff! Don't know why everyone was so confused the whole time. If your class was anything like mine be prepared to have her explain things 50x!

I thought professor did a good job. She's serious about what she does. I also like that she doesn't seem like she doesn't want to be there. The class is pretty straightforward and pretty easy anyway. It would be pretty hard not to pass this type of course. I didn't really use not book but bought it. Most of it is commons sense.

She is the BEST, no way you cant get an A in her classes, super good at what she does and is simply good. Easy A if you do the work. She makes class fun. Loved her

Professor Karen Lugo is a great teacher. She is hilarious and makes the subject material interesting. Karen is well respected by her students because she genuinely cares about them, and wants them to succeed. Buy the book, aplia access pass, come to class, complete your homework on time and don't worry about taking test (there aren't any.)

An amazing professor. Laid back, funny, very easy on papers and homework. As long as you turn all of it in before the end of semester, you'll be fine. Attending the class is mandatory though, but it is so interesting and entertaining. I highly recommend her.

Professor Lugo is the best! This is my first semester at CSUDH and I must say I'm pretty impressed thanks to RMP I was able to pick the best of the best. She has really great communication and her classes will really help you in life.

No tests or exams in BUS 301 , 302 and 303. Only presentations, homework in textbook, homework on Aplia and then attendance. Easy A because she's not tough in grading, but you need to do homework. Very inspirational and funny during lectures, most lectures are short. Accessible outside of class and very friendly. She is very helpful, too.

Honestly Professor Lugo is amazing! Couple writing assignments which were fairly easy. Gives you the chance to peer review and get feedback from herself before turning in the final draft. Interesting topics. Both midterm and final were easy. Definitely a professor that makes you look forward to going to class. Also such a sweetheart.

BUS 301 & 302 were very easy and straight froward. BUS 303 was tedious and I didn't really learn much from it. Aplia is a waste of time tbh but if you do good, it does boost up your grade. She's hilarious, really nice, caring and loved her personality. If you're a BUS major, taker her!

Professor Lugo's class was short and sweet. She is very funny and provides plenty of examples for each assignment. Assignments were pretty simple and did not take much time.

Real gem of a professor. Easy class, show up, do the easy work, and you have an A. Class was always fun to attend. She tells you many funny personal stories. Go to her office hours if you have difficulty with presentation because she will help you get better at it.

A straightforward professor that's very clear and articulate. You'll learn a lot. Easy A and great lectures. Really unfortunate, I would've loved to have her for the rest of the semester.

These business courses are only a 1-hour credit class. However, she really cares that you learn and apply real-life experiences because that is what these classes are meant for. She works really hard at grading your homework and provides feedback, so take advantage of her notes. It isn't critical, but only to improve upon your skills.

Took her for BUS 300 (301-303) & she was an amazing professor. Very helpful & gave meaningful feedback while letting us out early. Her assignments are relatively easy & does give you second chances to submit them if you do not get full credit. The only downside was using MindTap as it could be a little tricky.

Professor Lugo is very enjoyable. She will definitely make you laugh. Easy course to pass, you just have to purchase Mindtap.

This Professor is cool! She is fair and clear cut on grading and assignments. She uses Cengage for homework and she also wants you to turn in work assignments via Word Docs. Overall an easy class to pass just do the work and turn it in on time and you will be fine.

This professor is good. She has a clear-cut syllabus. MUST do all of the homework and Cengage assignments to pass the class. Makes you critique other students' work and you have to do this to get credit for your assignments! The only bummer about the class but otherwise pretty easy to pass.

This Professor is awesome! She is respectful and fair. Gives excellent feedback on your assignments. I did not enjoy the peer-edit stuff. A lot of people cannot take constructive critiques but oh-well. She e-mails you back fast. Overall an A+ professor! Her classes fill up fast so early registration is key. Absolutely will take her for ENG350!

Lugo is a great professor who wants her students to succeed. The class is graded on a couple of assignments and she gives clear grading criteria and templates. She usually gives full credit for the assignments and provides feedback for each. This class is an easy A and you also learn a lot of useful things.

She is a good teacher, but the class itself is relatively useless. You just do basic assignments and the work assigned is not hard at all. She takes attendance but you can pass by just reading the instructions on BB. She may go on tangents and most lectures are about an hour long. Easy A if you do the work.

Professor Lugo is aweosme! The easiest classes I've taken this semester took all three courses with her. You do need to buy Cengage to do the work. Super helpful during office hours, she's very funny as well. Definitely recommend her just make sure to follow the tentative schedule and you will for sure pass with an A.
