She is very unfair, and automatically gives you an incomplete (in the COURSE!) when you miss an assignment. "You didn't do this? Oh well, INCOMPLETE." Very rude and doesn't seem to listen to you.

Takes pleasure in embarrassing people. She'll tell you "Did I say you could come up here?" if you approach her after class. She likes potlucks so she could STUFF HER FACE! Occasionally froths and slobbers at the mouth too. Seriously! No joke! Hard grader, expects too much for a 3 unit class.

This teacher was horrible!She is incredibly hypocritical. For instance: she'll yell at people that come in like 30 seconds late and she'll cuss out people that come "unprepared", but just about every day she would have to leave the class for like 10 minutes cuz she'd forget her****. She shows favoratism, and hates when people think for themselves.

I didn't learn anything from her. She is a communication teacher, but she doesn't even know how to listen effectively. She is an excellent rerouting person. She takes your point and your ideas to make her own ideas and turn you off right away if you say something she doesn't agree with. Terrible.

I feel sorry for the teacher. I think she has very low self-esteem that is why she is taking it out on her students, poor things. The textbook used was published long ago- her tests I think are the same every year. Her teaching methods are terrible. If you are looking for an oral comm class stay away from this particular clalss!!!

She cussed out a student in my winter intersession class!!! this was last thursday BEFORE CLASS EVEN STARTED! then she warned us against telling the dean of her cursing him out bcuz she could loose her job! im glad someone else mentioned this event happening as well. im sure i will always regret taking this class! she's HORRIBLE!

Here's her extra credit. Make sure you fill out three names to contact (if you're absent) on the syllabus. She has high expectations probably cuz it's been expected from her early on. Either way, I wouldn't recommend her.

Make sure you don't change your mind on ANYTHING you submit as a paper or she will yell at you. Make sure you attend EVERY class or you will not pass. If you have a fear of speaking, do not taker her. She doesn't help out much in what she is an 'expert' in (aka public speaking). Bring ALL of your papers or she will yell at you for not doing so.

She wasn't very considerate. As an international student who has to pay a lot more for classes, having to take a lot of classes per semester to transfer within a certain amount of years, she never helped me out to achieve a 'C' grade. I was about a percentage short of a C grade and still gives a 'D'. I worked hard but she never returned the favour.

At first, I thought Rowe just had some dry humor but it soon got old. She is an extremely difficult, childish character who lacks social skills and respect towards others. She does not care for her students and does not make exceptions (no matter how small). She follows her syllabus religously, has little to no lectures and speaks nonsense. SKKRT!

I signed up for a Public Speaking class but instead was enrolled into Rowe's guide on how to make a formal outline. Be prepared to always be interrupted by a professor who doesn't let you finish you questions and speeches. She is never wrong and will tell you herself that she prides herself on being a brick wall.

Class was relatively easy, but I did not like the professor. She is very uptight yet tries to get buddy-buddy. No concept of personal space. Expect to be met with unnecessary criticism on the most minute of things. Be sure to bark the answer with the rest of the class when she asks a question. Was not enjoyable--even online. Wouldn't recommend.

The unfortunate only option for the course I needed to take. Her proper grammar double standard is laughable, being that every one of her emails contains at least one, but usually three, typos. Disorganized and unclear in her instructions, she will not fail to accuse students of poor communication instead of admitting her own needs to improve.

Alarmingly bad at communication, considering she is a communications professor. She is ALL OVER THE PLACE and will dock grades by 50% over one word. She takes this class, and herself, far too seriously. She gives rambling, unclear instructions then blames students for not being able to make sense of them. Take this course with anyone but her.

The modules are all over the place, no slides just text, she would just let you read a whole book and that's it no summary for her or explanation, nor any useful resources like videos that would help the student. tough grader for someone who doesn't teach

Rowe is the worst Coms teacher at Evergreen, she will not communicate with you and will treat you like you are less than her and that you are nothing but an uneducated piece of nothing. She says she encourages questions but every question you ask she will either refer you to the syllabus or say to read the instructions, which BTW are the worst GL

BY FAR the worst professor I've ever had in my 23 years of learning! She's rude, facetious, sarcastic, a bully, and shouldn't be in a position of power. I'm actually shocked she's still teaching. She criticizes her students and docks them major points for minor errors, yet is a hypocrit and makes countless mistakes in her emails/lessons. A JOKE!!

I would ask questions and not receive answers. She would try to make me sound like I was incapable. She would mark my whole assignment wrong over 1 mistake. The limited assignment's also made this class harder. Students would email each other regarding how she teaches. Do not recommend taking her. I learned to stay away from teachers like this. :-(

I took this class at the begging of the pandemic. I thought she was gonna be very helpful but she wasnt. Whenever I asked a question she would make me feel like I was dumb. Her explanations didnt make any sense and was very unorganized. Doesnt accept when shes wrong and would blame you for her mistakes. Definitely do not take her class.

Taken right when the pandemic hit, always seemed to be in a bad mood and took it out on the students, very hard grader, and had so much work that the only way it is possible to keep up would be to make it your only class.

As a communication teacher, she makes multiple Grammar errors and takes offense at student comments. You will literally use the material from the class to communicate with her. Be straight-forward and ask her specific and explicit questions. She may be harsh, but take her advice to improve yourself, as she can find many errors in your work. Focus.

90% of The messages in my inbox from her are from students pointing out all the mistakes she made when giving out assignments. To make things worse, she takes extreme offense to questions and has little remorse for students concerned about their grades. I wouldn't take this class again of you paid me.

By far the worst teacher I have ever had, god the seconds in her class felt like HOURS. The lectures were awful I swear she gets to class and just wings it every-time. She is so easily distracted and goes off topic 90% of time. If you have questions don't ask "just look at the syllabus". Youre better off waiting for a different teacher.

The class was easy as long as you read the book and complete discussions. Tests are based from textbook. My only complaint is that she can be very condescending and rude towards students. Only take if it’s your last resort.

I have used this site for every teacher but for some reason not her. She grades based on how she’s feeling. If she’s upset with you/that day, she’ll grade harder. If she’s having a good day, she’ll grade easier. She very much has a smart mouth and is condescending towards students, to the point I felt stupid for asking questions.

Unrealistic. Does orientation on a Friday expects quiz finished by Saturday for an orientation. What teacher does that? Her modules are a mess and too many of them. I will take with another teacher who isn't all over the place.

It was the first day and she graded an assignment FAILING for not reading the syllabus clearly. Told me this was interpersonal communications not for the professional environment when I mentioned using it in day-to-day life.

WORST TEACHER. We as the majority class decided to copy and paste the next assignment all together, and only alter a little bit of the work, to not make it all the same. Literally we all reviewed our scores and saw some of us got almost a 100% while others just got like 50 or less even though we all copy and pasted the SAME THING!!!!

This teacher is rough. Most if not all the assignments the teacher gave had unclear instructions with an arbitrary grading scale. The feedback that the teacher gave was derogatory and harsh. She on several occasions directly wrote that students were dumb and deserved bad grades. She personally attacked me in the feedback for assignments

Whenever I asked the teacher a question she belittled and ridiculed me. I only useful thing I learned in this class was to keep my head down and not ask questions. The only thing you will get back is some generally hypocritical statement, something political, or some kind of general religious statement. nothing that is helpful.

Ive never had a professor that assigns so much reading and expects it to be done within a few days plus assignments due on top of that. This professor is all over the place and takes hours to respond back to students. Also her assignments/tests make no sense. One more thing she is the worst grader EVER !!!. When I asked her a question, she answered rudely and with exclamation point in every sentence. I DON'T RECOMMEND because she grades out hw by deducting a lot of points from one mistake. Never written a review before, but I just had to for this professor. So much work that is just too much for a student to actually successfully do. On the FINAL test for the semester, she forgot to put an answer box, making me lose 6 points, like... would never EVER take this professor again!!

DO NOT take this class. I've encountered numerous demanding professors in the past, but I was completely unprepared for the challenges this class would present. Off the bat, she's super passive-aggressive. Her directions on her assignments are actually awful to read, and I cannot interpret them properly at all.

I have NEVER in my entire life ever seen a professor require you to remember so much information for the midterm and final....all for it to be no notes. She is incredibly picky and pedantic. While I did fine, I would not take a class from her again. I have never been so nervous for a final, not even my bio psych class or math.
