Awesome
The best education professor i have had.
Participate, don't miss class (unless emergency), and keep up with all work. She will help you any way she can. I highly recommend her for this class.
One of the best education teachers in the school! Definately take her if you can...very fair teacher and explains everything so you can understand it!
dont miss class, even after the semester is over, she will still help you
Awesome Teacher!!! She gives you rubrics for all assignments and if you do what she says, and easy A. Gives awesome test reviews, that are exactly what is on the test. Very fun and enjoyable. Defiantly take this class!!!
She is wonderful!Teaching is her passion and it shows. She expects a lot but gives back so much more. She is also one of the most professional people that I have ever met. Take as many classes with her as you can.
Best education teacher EVER!
She is a wonderful teacher and a wonderful mentor.
Dr. Verkler is an amazing professor. She will help you in anything she can. She deeply cares about each and everyone of her students. Her class is easy because of all of her help. She is awesome!
This was her fist time teaching this class, and she was great. She really knows what she is talking about, and will help you A LOT with your ESOL notebook. The tests are fair, and she pretty much tells you exactly what's going to be on them.
Everyone talks about how great she is, but I wasnt impressed. I thought she explained things too much and repeated herself. I would lost my patience when listening to her. Easy work and a really nice woman though.
She is a VERY nice woman. She is very understanding and not too strict about much. Her ruberics are very helpful when completing projects. The notes are very detailed when it comes to test time and her review sheets for the exam are AWESOME!
Great teacher, great person. Over extends herself to make sure we will be prepared to teach. Definitely recommend this professor!
Dr. Verkler goes out of her way to make class fun and interesting. She does lots of hands-on work and almost no lecture (like a good teacher should). She was also awarded "teacher of the year" at UCF in 2005. Take her class if you want to learn and have a good time.
Awesome interesting teacher. She expects a lot, but she's fair. You know exactly what she wants as far as assignment.
Dr. Verkler is perhaps the best education professor I have ever had. She has a great passion for teaching that is contagious. I highly recommend her!
Educator in the truest sense of the word. Invigorates and excites teachers to be the best they can be. Very creative, passionate, supportive, and knowledgable. A special teacher who truly cares about her students!
I was afraid to take education classes until I took these w/Dr. Verkler. It was so fun & energetic & I learned SO MUCH. I look forward to teaching now as it seems less scary & more do-able.
Best teacher I have EVER had. She is truly amazing. You will learn so much from her. She covers topics very well and makes class interesting. She is very interested in student learning and feedback. Take her if you can.
The best professor I've EVER had!! Makes class fun and interesting.A very fair grader on assignments who provides lots of valuable feedback. Assignments are not the easiest but she helps you every step of the way. Goes out of her way to get to know her students and would help them with anything they needed.
Dr. Verkler's pep and passion for teaching and life is contagious! I learned so much that I will easily be able to use in my future classroom. I loved going to class to see her smiling face. Keep it up, Dr. Verkler...you're making a difference!
She was such a great teacher! you dont need to buy the book, but everything you learn in the class is so helpful and easy to learn. If I could I would take her for all my classes I would!
I would highly recommend taking Dr. Verkler. Her assignments are straightforward and well explained. She is willing to help with anything and is very personable. She definitely know what she is talking about. She is really a great teacher! TAKE HER CLASS!
I love Dr. Verkler! She is the best professor that I have ever had at UCF! She is so concerned about her students and helpful!
A lot of work and a difficult grader. You need a 186/200 to get an A in her class. On the plus side, she cares about her students and will bend over backwards for them.
this class made we switch my major to something other then education. and although Dr. Verkler is a nice person and does seem to care about her students, she is very repetitive and i really did not learn anything i couldn't have picked up from just reading the text book.
Dr. Verkler is nice, but she's all over the place. If you talk to her about something outside of class, she's CLUELESS. But, her class was very intresting. You learn a lot and she has a lot of guest speakers with great things to say. Overall, her class is good. I would take her again bc I enjoyed it that much. She's just a bit all over the place. S
The most passionate and energetic teacher I've ever had. She cares about her students alot and is very thorough with explaining things. I took a lot away from her class. Best professor ever!
Dr. Verkler is the best and my favorite teacher that I have ever had in college. She really cares about her students and about teaching, and this comes across in class. She is extremely willing to help, and everything she teaches I will use in the classroom. She is also really fun. Definitely take her if you can & get her as an advisor if u can
She is the BEST!!! Seriously amazing and inspires you daily!! TAKE HER!
I love Dr. Verkler!! Her class is entertaining and I really enjoy going to it. She has some of the most useful and applicable methods to use in the classroom. She lets you exempt Exam 1 if you attend the Happy Hour Showcase- which is GREAT! If you have to take Classroom Management, take her! She is great!
I felt her grading fluctuated a great deal. She needs to be more consistent with her grading. One time, I would get an "A" and then a "B" for the same mistakes! I didn't "get" her style at all. Also, she talks on and on and on...no getting out early with her. She repeats herself and lets people ask way too many silly q's..which gets you out late to
Although every semester is different, I don't think we're learning much new information here. This is just research and present your journal articles to a small group. Nothing else has happened so far! Dr. Verkler is very professional, knowledgeable, and happy to teach.
She is a liberal. Thought we wanted to see Michael Moore when he came to propagate at UCF and sent all students email about it. She thinks she is the bomb. Call her Doc instead of Doctor, she will correct you. It is pretty funny.
Class has a lot work, but it is all helpful. Every assignment she assigns is preparing you for what you have to do once you are a teacher. Both microteaches help you get comfortable in front of people. JA helps you build confidence in front of students. Brings her experiences into the classroom. Lectures are interesting and informative
She is extremely clear with her grading. Her rubric spells out exactly what she wants in your assignment. However, she'll talk your ear off. She's very sweet and really wants to make sure that you understand the assignment, but she'll describe it three times, even though her syllabus is sufficiently clear. Good professor, very caring.
She is the most helpful teacher i've ever had. she treats all her students like her own children and wants all of them to succeed. All you have to do is do the assignments and show up for class and you will be ok. If you pick her, this will be the one class that you will learn the most out of. Pick her, you will not be disappointed.
Mrs. Verkler was always helpful. Assignments are very beneficial if you're trying to become an educator. She's passionate about what she does & wants the best for all of her students. Easy class as long as you turn in all your assignments on time. She does keep you for the entire class, and she has a way of going off on tangents. Good professor!
Dr. Verkler is very concerned with preparing future educators to be their best. She truly cares for her students and what they learn. She does utilize the entire class time so there is no getting out early. Her rubrics are very clear and helpful. Amazing Teacher!
Dr. Verkler is amazing! She is very helpful and will let you email her your assignments ahead of time and correct them for you so you can get a 100% on them. If I could take another class with her I would. Loved this class and actually learned quite a bit.
Really knows her stuff, is very helpful. Tells you exactly what you need to do on assignments. Make sure to check her online site for assignments before class or you will be unprepared. Her grading is fair, but during class discussions you can notice her favor certain students. Sometimes has an attitude when talking one on one.
Dr. Verkler was definitely NOT one of my favorite professors at UCF. She was never consistent with her grading. Sometimes she would let CERTAIN students remake their assignments and then not let other students. She made me feel very anxious in her class because of how frazzled she gets during class. Take another professor if you can.
Dr. Verkler is extremely helpful and cares deeply about her students' success in class. She expects us to be responsible and professional adults. If you attend class, participate in all activities, and follow the directions for every assignment, there is no reason why you should not do great in the class. She has rubrics for everything.
Dr. Verkler is respectful of all of her students. She never played favorites and cared about all of us being successful. I highly recommend taking her. One of my favorite professors at UCF.
Dr. Verkler cares about her students. The best part of the class were the 2 microteachs, which were good learning experiences. However, the content of the class is repetitive, lectures are monotonous, and the material is mostly common sense. If you care about a grade, this is an easy A if you do your work according to the rubric.
Dr. Verkler is very inspirational. She is passionate about the teaching profession and about giving us as much information as possible so that we can become successful teachers. She has very high expectations of us, which I like. Great professor!
She made me want to do the best I could. Very inspiring.
Coolest class ever!
All expectations were clearly stated. No surprises. Prof communicated a lot to us through email and the course wiki. Good prof. Would take another course with her.
This was the coolest class ever! So interactive, so much fun - we were never bored! I can't believe how much we learned in a 6 day class!
Professor Verkler was my favorite professor at UCF. She provided rubrics for everything. She made everyone want to do the best they could. She was very motivating and inspiring. This is a great class to take for all future teachers.
You could tell she really cared about us. She was clear in her expectations and her rubrics matched what was required of the assignments. Come to class, participate, read and follow the directions on the rubrics, do quality work, and you'll do great! It's as simple as that!
There are so many new things in the field of education. Professor Verkler goes to professional development workshops to learn these new things so she can teach us what is current. So impresssed!
She is going beyond the call of duty in preparing us for what we can expect re Common Core and Marzano's Principles. I feel like I'm going to be super prepared.
Terrific prof!
She has rubrics for everything and her expectations are crystal clear. If students do poorly, it's because they didn't read and/or follow the directions. You learn sooooo much.
My least favorite professor in 4 yrs. While it's true that she goes above and beyond in preparation for her lessons, she puts up a hell of a front in regard to everything else. Approach her without an audience present and what you've seen will not be what you get. A litte HP reference for the nerds out there: Delores Umbridge. Go with Dr. Bugden
Dr. Verkler was the best professor I've ever had. What you see is what you get. She cares so much for her students and goes the extra mile for them. Loved her!
Professor Verkler is the most genuine, caring, compassionate professor I've ever had. You've got to take her!
Professor Verkler is so entertaining and makes you want to come to class and learn. I love her sense of humor and her concern for her students. The class is very hands on and applies to what I need to learn in real life.
Lot of work, but it's all relavant to the teaching profession. She doesn't do any busywork, which I like, and doesn't waste your time.
This is my first experieence with an education prof and I love it. So much fun, so engaging, so hands-on. So different from my other profs. Definitely glad I'm taking this course!
I love coming to class every week. Prof is such a good model of what a good teacher should be. No busiwork, no wasted time.
I love all the feedback Dr. Verkler gives on every assignment. I know exactly what to work on. Love the class!
I am convinced that I got my teaching job because of how well this professor prepared me for all the changes (Marzano, etc.) in the teaching profession. The principal who interviewed and then hired me said she hired me because of how much I already knew about Marzano. Everything I knew I learned from Dr. Verkler.
In the event that something does not go as plan this teacher is extremely difficult to work with. She gave outdated instructions for submission, and still penalized her students. My J.A assignment was canceled twice by the teachers, and I was still penalized. Finally, she will ALWAYS put the Happy Hour professional development before her students.
I honestly don't know how students could have any problems with this prof. She is so student-oriented and easy to work with. She truly wants us to do well.
I can't believe all the resources she gives us! Wow! Brought in the Seminole County Teacher of the Year this week to teach us classroom management! I'm getting such good preparation to be a teacher! Got to take her!
She works with us to help us do well in class. She even lets us submit our assignments early so we can get feedback ahead of time. That way, we have time to fix things before they are due. Very facilitating prof.
Love all of the hands on activities. Never bored. Such a creative, fun prof!
She is the absolute best professor I have ever had. She takes genuine concern in every student. She is helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure you understand. This class is not easy but you must put in the work. I feel she was a fair grader and you get what you put into it. Take this class!
She is the best teacher I have ever had in my life! So clear, so caring, so motivated to help us do our best. All of her assignments are relevant to the teaching profession. No wasted time. I wish she taught more classes so I could take her again.
Dr. Verkler is very passionate and knowledgeable. Mostly, my problems with the class were the people that I took it with. She doesn't stop them from asking unnecessary questions, which can eat up a lot of lecture time. Also, watch out for her grading scale: you may need a 92% of the points available to get an A. No exams!
She is passionate, engaged, & knowledgeable about what she teaches. Her activities are relevant, mostly enjoyable, & helpful. There's no tests/she makes class comfy. Something to be aware of is that she is very particular. I got a zero on an assignment b/c I did not check off on a checklist what I had completed even though I did the writing part.
Work is relevant and she communicates her expectations well. As long as you follow directions and follow the rubrics you will do fine. Her grading scale is higher than UCF's, but she includes her scale in her rubric, so this should be no surprise. She has high expectations, but as long as you follow the directions, you will do great!
I got a C, but it was really my own fault because I didn't follow the criteria for assignments. The Prof spells out clearly the requirements for the class, has examples of all of the assignments so you know what the final product looks like. She also lets you submit work ahead of time for feedback so you can make changes before the work is due.
I just finished the coolest class ever! We did so many fun and practical activities in this class. It was like summer camp! Prof is so entertaining and creative!
I think all profs should take her class to learn how to teach. She is funny, engaging, and relevant. I can't wait to use all the strategies she taught us! You've got to take her.
You can tell she really, really cares about her students. Very approachable, responds quickly to emails, you can tell her students are a priority. I learned so much and enjoyed the class so much.
Even though I am no longer in her class, I know I can still go to her for help. She gave me feedback on my resume before I applied for teaching positions. She even helped me write a cover letter. I had her for my teacher two years ago and she still helped me!
This prof is truly a gifted teacher. She is compassionate, caring, and helpful. She has high expectations, but is very available to help out students. Wonderful, wonderful prof!
I love how this professor simulates what we will be expected to do in real-life. I also love the flipped class format. All the lecture-type stuff was outside of class, freeing up the class time to interactive stuff. Love this class
She is so funny, but relevant. She is so helpful and cares so much about her student's success. She does expect you to be responsible for yourself and your work, so you can't coast through this class. I feel like I'm getting so much stuff that I'll be able to use once I become a teacher. You've got to take her.
I want to be like her when I grow up! :) She models all different types of teaches; her tests are fair and we know how to prepare for them. She gives us real-life tasks that we will be expected to do as teachers. She wants our transition from college to classroom to be as easy as possible.
You can tell she cares so much about us. Hard working prof! Rigorous, challenging class, but manageable. I feel like I'm going to be so prepared for the teaching profession!
This professor models the type of teacher I hope to be someday. She is organized, motivational, compassionate, and caring. I always know what the expectations are: her directions are clear and her examples are soooo helpful. I am learning more in this class than all of my other classes combined.
Love the class! She really cares about us.
I feel as though everything we do is going to prepare me for the teaching profession. Lots of work, but all relevant to teaching.
I can't believe how much I'm gonna miss this class! The prof has created such a good learning environment that I know everyone's names and I've made a lot of friends in this class. We help each other and know she's there for us. I wish she taught other classes because I would absolutely take her again.
Great class!
She is the most organized prof ever! Always knew what was due, how to do it, and when it was due. She has rubrics for everything.
She really cares about us as future professionals. Lots of works, but all releveant to the teaching profession.
I loved this class and this prof! I learned more in this class then in any other class I've ever had. I feel so prepared to teach. All of the assignments are relevant, no busywork. She is also incredibly organized. Always knew what was expected. I wish she taught more classes. Would absolutely take her again.
Best professor ever! She is the teacher I aspire to be. So organized, so inspirational, and cares so much for her students. She is so passionate about the teaching profession and wants to teach us as much as possible. Love her!
Challenging, but manageable. Prepared me so well for the teaching profession.
I got a C, but it was because I didn't read the syllabus or the information on the course wiki. She really is very clear and has rubrics for every assignment. She is very helpful and inspirational. She also goes over every assignment before it is due and even encourages us to submit work early for her review and feedback before its due.
Dr. Verkler is an inspirational professor and treats you like an adult. She is clearly passionate about the education of her students and preparing them to be educators. I would definitely take her again. Classwork is relevant and VALUABLE. She doesn't waste a second of your time.
Nice personality. Makes you go so much into the technical details of Education that principals never ask for or care for.I went to a "fake" principal interview hosted by the school I asked the principals and they just laughed. Class isn't hard, some information is great but irrelevant busy work describes class. Avoid if possible.
She goes out of her way to prepare us for the teaching profession. Very inspirational, very student-oriented, very encouraging. Has very high expectations. If you want to be well-prepared to teach, you have to take this professor.
I love coming to class each week. She is so entertaining and everything we are learning is pertinent to my career, which is teaching abroad. I am learning so much! Her expectations are clear and I love the samples she provides for us.
Prof Verkler is the best. She is so caring, so supportive, and so entertaining. Everything we do in class is relevant. I look forward to applying what I've learned in this class to when I teach in China next year.
Dr. Verkler is the best. She cares so much about you doing your best. You can tell she loves the teaching profession. So passionate and a wonderful resource. She will help you even if you are no longer her student. Provides tons of helpful resources on her course wiki and encourages you to continue using the resources when you become a teacher
DR. V has high expectations and has more assignments than most of the other EDF 4410 teachers. However, they are all things we'll be expected to do when we are teachers. She has rubrics for everything and her directions in class and on her course wiki are very detailed and clear. I feel I'm going to be very prepared to be a teacher. Great class
She has very high expectations and expects you to act like a professional. Gives us the kinds of activities we will be expected to do when we have our own classes. I feel as though I'm going to be very prepared for when I am a teacher. Great class! We use no textbook. The class is a flipped class format, whcih I really like.
I loved this class! Few, if any, lectures. Lots of participatory activities. Applied theory to actual hands-on activities that will help me when I teach aboard. As long as you read the directions on her rubrics and course wiki, you will do super in this class. I will be graduating with lots of strategies and ideas for my future students.
Dr. Verkler was a phenomenal professor. She is SO genuinely sweet, kind, and truly, deeply cares about her students SO much. I am so honored to have had her as a professor and truly encourage you to take her if you can. She's incredibly inspirational and the type of teacher I aspire to become. Love you Dr. Verkler! You rock!!!!
What a terrific class! Prof has high expectations and expects you to act as a professional, which makes sense because we are being trained for the teaching profession. She is firm and fair; expects you to be responsible. So funny, so caring, so passionate. I can only hope to be a teacher just like her.
She is very student oriented. There are ruberics for everything, so there is no reason not to do well. She will also give you feedback before you turn in your assignment so that you have a chance to make changes before you are graded. She gives you every chance to be successful. If your not successful, it's your own fault.
Her week-long summer institute is intensive, but she makes class go by so quickly. It is more like summer camp than summer school. Excited to take her again for another FLE and an Education class. AWESOME
Dr. Verkler's week long summer institutes are amazing! Show up and put the effort in and it is impossible to walk away with less than an A. She gives you every opportunity to excel. Her in depth rubrics mean you know exactly what she is looking for. There are no surprises when you leave. She is stellar.
I just finished Prof Verkler's week-long summer institute. I left knowing the grade I had received; she graded things shortly after receiving them. Great feedback. So much fun. She made groupwork fair and productive. I have never learned so much or had so much fun learning in a class before. You've got to take her!
I just finished another week-long class by Dr. Verkler. She continued to keep us students engaged. I love how interactive and hands-on her classes are. I was so nervous about becoming a teacher and she has given me the confidence I needed. So loving and caring. I will really, really miss this class.
Dr. V is the kind of teacher I want to be. She is ALWAYS there for her students! Even though I took her class a year ago, she still encourages us to come and see her when we need help with anything. I'm getting ready for a teaching job and had to update my resume. I sent it to her for her feedback, which she gave me right away. Great prof!
Dr. Verkler is awesome! I am now teaching in Russia and still contact Dr. Verkler for help with teaching strategies and other ideas. I took her second language methods class last year, but she still makes herself available to help past students. She is a true teacher. I am using all that she taught me and feel really prepared to teach.
Professor Verkler is the teacher I want to be. She models all the strategies she teaches us so we know how to do them when we become teachers. She tries to make the class as much like the real teaching world as possible so we'll know what we are doing when we are teachers. I have found all of the activities and assignments to be relevant.
Man, Dr. Verkler, works so hard to prepare us with real-life stuff for the teaching profession. I love her assignments and activities; they are so relevant and are what we will be expected to do once we become teachers. She extends office hours to make sure she is able to meet with everyone. I LOVE coming to class each week!!
In my four years at this university, I have learned more from this professor than I've learned in all of my other classes combined. She works so hard to make sure we are learning as much as possible. I feel as though I'm going to be so prepared for the teaching profession. Every single assignment is so relevant to my future as a teacher.
This professor has very high expectations. Her work is challenging, but relevant. I know that when I earn a grade, I've done my best. She inspires me to do my best. All of the assignments are things I'll be expected to do when I have my own students.
I loved, loved, loved this professor! She has high expectations and her class is challenging (we are expected to work), but her class is so enjoyable and goes by so fast. She has a great sense of humor - it was the only class all semester where I didn't feel stressed out. I knew exactly what was expected of me. Rubrics galore; tons of feedback.
Class is A LOT of work! You HAVE to go to class every week! You're also required to do 15 hours of Junior Achievement! Be ready to put time into this class, it's easy content but requires a lot of hard work!
So far the best professor at UCF.
She is truly the most creative and inspirational teacher ever. I have learned more in this class than in all of my other courses combined. I love how she teaches. Very interactive class!
LOTS of work, but it's all relevant. I feel as though I'm so prepared for the teaching profession. Her expectations are very high and she expects a lot out of her students. I admire that.
Attendance is mandatory, but I would never want to miss a class anyway. All of the information is pertinant to teaching; she never wastes your time. Much more work than other professors, but I am learning so much that I know I will use when I have my own students. Got to take her!
I LOVE coming to class every week. I never felt this way about any other class. Her classes are always so enjoyable because we learn so many things that are relevant to the teaching profession. She also teaches interactively, so I'm never bored.
I'm learning so much. The prof expects you to take responsibility for yourself, so you need to be organized, come to class, and keep track of your assignments and when they are due. In other words, she treats us like the adults we are. It forces me to pay attention to this class more, and not blow it off.
She is the teacher I want to be. She is compassionate, respectful, always prepared, knowledgeable, and inspirational. I want to be like her when I grow up. Best model of what an effective teacher should be!
I love, love, love this professor. I am learning more in this class than in all of my other classes combined. So much practical information that I know I will use once I have my own class. Attendance is required and we do so many hands-on activities in class. No lecrtures.
This prof is what a true teacher should be. She is clear with her explanations, gives us examples of what we are to produce, and gives us TONS of very helpful, constructive feedback. Always rooting for us to succeed. LOTS of work, but it's all relevant to teaching. If you complain about the amount of work, you shouldn't be a teacher.
If you want an easy A, this is not the class for you. This professor has many assignments, but they are all important for the teaching profession. She never wastes your time. If you are serious about teaching and want to learn as much as you can about what you will need to know as a teacher, take this class. You will not be disappointed.
I love this class! I feel as though I'm learning more in this one class than in all of my classes combined. Prof. treats us with respect. She also gives us great feedback on our assignments. You can tell that she really reads our work. She is also very accessible by email outside of class. I can't believe how quickly she answers my emails.
This class wasn't bad at all it's just something's she enforced was unnecessary make sure to write your name on every single assignment or you won't get credit even though we submit out homework in a folder with our name and pictures on it. Not a bad she just makes it annoying sometimes
Dr. Verkler has high expections of herself and her students. She is probably the most caring professor I've had. Expectations are clear and the work is very interesting. This is not a difficult class, and you will learn a lot!!! I would definitely recommend this class if you're serious about becoming an educator! You will definitely be inspired!
I can't believe that students complain about the prof's requirement that we put our names on all of our papers. We are adults, for God's sake; we should have learned how to do this in kindergarten. This prof has high expectations of us and expects us to be professionals. I feel so prepared for the teaching profession now. Great professor!
I can't say enough good things about this professor. I looked forward to class every week. She establishes such a positive environment where all students are supportive of each other. I can't believe how many strategies she taught us that I'm going to use when I become a teacher. I just wish she taught more of the classes I need to take.
Dr. Verkler is the best professor I have had at UCF. She is an excellent educator and cares about her students. She has clear requirements for assignments and provides great feedback. EDG 4410 is a very practical methods course and most of the assignments are useful for future teachers. I enjoyed class every week! I highly recommend Dr. Verkler.
Prof Verkler works carefully with students to help them be successful. She has rubrics, examples of what she is looking for, clear explanations, and will also let you turn in work early for feedback before the actual assignment is due. If you don't do well after all that, you have only yourself to blame. I wish she taught more classes.
I am really going to miss this class. Professor Verkler created such a positive learning environment from Day One. She made sure that we were all there to support and help each other. She has a great sense of humor and made us laugh while teaching us so much. I actually looked forward to going to class each week and wish she taught more classes
I love this class. I am learning so much and all of it is relevant to the teacing profession. This prof gives such helpful feedback and cares so much about our success. Her expectations are clear and she has rubrics for everything.
This class is so much work, but none of the assignments are a waste of time. Prof has high expectations; considers us professionals in training, which I like. She is very respectful of us, but expects a lot of us. She works hard to prepare us for the teaching profession. If you don't want to work hard, don't take her.
This class was one of my favorites that I have ever taken in my entire college education through two different institutions. The professor with be one of my top sources of inspiration throughout my education, career, and life. She is one of the most sincere, honest, and compassionate professors I have ever had.
This professor has clear expectations, rubrics for everything, and samples of assignments. All you have to do is follow the directions and you can easily get an A. It was one of the most revelant courses I have ever taken.
This prof was one of the most sincere and caring profs I have ever had in all of my four years of college. Her feedback was great! She was candid about the teaching profession and gave us extra tips on how to be the best we can be. So down to earth and compassionate. Will truly miss her.
I can't believe how much I learned in this class! Professor made the class so fun, even at 7:30 in the morning! She teaches very interactively, so we never sat for long periods of time. She likes to simulate what we will have to do as teachers, so I feel really prepared to have my own classroom. Loved this class!
Wonderful, wonderful, wonderful class! There are many assignments, but none of them was a wast of time. The professor has clear directions for assignments and has rubrics for all assignments. It's so refreshing to know what the expectations are for every assignments. She sets high expectations and wants quality work.
Instead of using WebCourses all information is on her class Wiki. It seems clear, but instructions are haphazard and difficult to understand. Very harsh grading and very nitpicky. She seems to get flustered when more than one person asks her a question. If you put in the effort, you'll be disappointed with your result.
I loved this class. The professor was professional, inspirational, and had high expectations for us as future teachers. I appreciate now that she uses a course wiki instead of Webcourses because I will always have access to all of the wonderful resources on the wiki. Her directions are clear and she has samples for most of the assignments.
Dr. V is the best prof I've ever had! Her expectations are spelled out clearly and she has rubrics for everything. All you have to do is follow the directions, turn in quality work, and you'll do great! I attended all classes, did all assignments, participated in every activity, and didn't even have to study for the final exam, which I aced!!!
This was the best class ever!! Dr. V is so organized, which I really appreciated. She is funny, compassionate, and so entertaining. She doesn't lecture, but has tons of relevant activities to teach the course material. Very easy to make an A if you follow directions and take time to read the course wiki, which lays out everything for you.
