She seems super easy but she grades kind of hard. Its not a hard class, just make sure to take notes on what she says, not just whats on her powerpoints. She also assigns like 6 papers

Awesome Professor! Lots of interest! Very Entertaining! Satisfaction Guaranteed! Couldn't get more of!
Cool teacher. Shes very nice and never puts anyone in the class down no matter what you say. VEry respectful and understanding. easy if you just put in a little bit of effort, very helpful and makes you want learn and actually enjoy the content of the class!
I liked her method of teaching, as long as you pay attention and study before tests the class should be a breeze.
Wow! This was my best professor ever! Very Friendly and helpful! Even offers friendship! Definitely Recommend.
She a great teacher! She knows how to explain everything in the class in a way that is not boring at all. That is true, she never puts down anyone no matter what they say. She is very nice and friendly. It is very easy to get an A in her class. If you take notes in all her classes you'll be ok because you won't need to read the book.
Woooh! I'm talking about this same professor once again, then again, and again. She's one of the best professors and the easy going professor for me! I find that she is the nicest professor for Art Classes. She would comply with her students whenever they need help. Highly Recommended! Five Stars! You can just focus on the essays she gives.
She's a really cool and funny teacher, she tends to go off subject sometimes but only to make things more interesting and you dont have to carry the book around which is nice
Great teacher!! Wonderful person and really easy, the test are super easy as long as u attend class and pay attention to the powerpoint and take notes in class, the essay questions on the test are also easy she tells u exactly what to write, u just have to remember it on test day. Super cool and laid back!
Nickname Ms. Cool teacher, her tests are easy and she has a personality. She grades pretty easily as well. Possibly could take her in Art 4 in spring 2007, but unlikely.
Great lectures, she keeps the class moving while having fun at the same, likes her job and it reflects in her teaching and excitement.
Professor is very passionate and articulate about her subject matter. She is very insightful and instructive on how she wants her papers written, and she forewarns everyone that she is meticulous about grammer, punctuation, etc. A very fun and interesting class. I would take her classes again if I needed to for my major.
Very nice teacher. But I really couldnt follow her lessons. Not really organzied. 3 papers due and two of them are museum visits. Should have had only one or two papers due. Made the class stressful. Tests are hard if you dont study.
Class is easy if you pay attention to her lectures. The book is more of a back up reference. She truly loves Art History and makes it interesting. Tests are all written. She also had a great sense of humor:) Fun and interesting class where you learn too.
Very nice teacher! lectures are boring if you're not into art, like me. Essays are easy and raise your grade. Tests are staright from the lectures. DO NOT, i repeat DO NOT buy the book. you will not use it once for this class.
Shes Great, if you show her you know what your talking about on the test shell go easy. All written tests but not bad if you study, not that hard. gives a lot of extra credit, but just participate in class cause she takes points...i didnt and it stopped me from getting an A. Take her(after she has her baby, of course)
she is the best! she actually cares foir her students. Gives a ton of extra credit to help the slackers. and helped me transfer out of el camino. She is one of the few etachers at el camino that actually cares.
She is a nice teacher. I'm not the artistic type, so i didn't want to take this class, but she made it easier to deal with. She tells you what to know and it isn't that bad. If you need to take and art class, then take her.
She's a GREAT teacher; very interesring and helpful. Make sure to take good notes and to participate as much as you can. She gives out study guides which are very helpful and you have about 30-50 points for extra credit if you go to museums. Take her!
Very good teacher. Interesting lectures. It's an easy class if you write well. Your grade is based on 4 short papers, 3 tests (half multiple-guess, half essay), and participation (aim for 1 comment or question per class). I wasn't looking forward to this art class, but it turned out to be my most fun class of the semester.
Mrs. Whitney is one of the best teachers at El Camino. She's very passionate about art and her students. Although she expects us to think critically about an art she gives help for those who may not fully understand. Test pretty easy if you study. Papers not that hard. I enjoyed this class and t aking her again for art 3.
PROFESSOR WHITNEY IS NICE AND FRIENDLY BUT HONESTLY HER CLASS GETS BORING AND THIS IS RIGHT AFTER I GET THROUGH AN 8 AM CLASS BEFORE HERS. HER TESTS AND PAPERS ARE EASY BUT THE OFFSET IS THAT SHE IS JUST TO REDUNDANT IN HER LECTURES (AND SLOW). I WANT TO ACTUALLY LEARN SOMETHING. SHE DOES NOT REALLY DO THAT.. RECOMMEND HER FOR EASY A BUT BEWARE.
Truly an amazing professor. Her lectures are interesting and informative, and she is genuinely passionate about the subject. Attending lectures is a MUST for the exams, which are moderately easy. Papers weren't difficult.
useless. MANDATORY ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION. PARTICIPATION = 50 PTS. meaning a pt. for every hand raised. HIGHLY USES book. when lectures are dry, boring, dull, AND redundant. Waste of TIME. does not TEACH. 3 papers 3 essays. TEDIOUS AND HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. AVOID AT ALL COST
GREAT TEACHER!! super nice. I LOVE the way she explains things-clear and to the point. She made me actually love art history, which is why i recomend this class to everyone!! However, if may be a bit of a challenge to get an A. Study hard for the 3 tests. Work hard on the 2 essays.
Easy class, just make sure to participate. Didn't study much for the 3 tests, did the 2 papers the night before and ended up with a B, could have been an A if i had participated. Don't bother buying the book, the tests come straight from the lectures.
Whitney is a great professor. seriously she's so nice and funny and takes time to answer your questions. you don't even need the book for the class, i only opened it once, and that was just to see what was inside. all you need to do is study and participate.
she is so nice. too bad my class was so disrespectful, but if u ignore that she makes her lectures so relax n made me get interested in art history.she likes if u participate n provides u w/ a study guide n we only took 2 tests; we did have essays to write, but if u need any help she is happy to clarify any doubt u have. she offers extra credit!
Chill teacher. Study for the test and you'll get an A. Don't need the book. Has a monotone laugh. Likes participation. Study guide for test is all you need, not necessarily notes. Boring class. VERY BORING CLASS. i hate art
WOW!This teacher is awesome and so is the class! She is super nice. The class is not super easy, but it's not tough either. You have to study and prepare. Pay attention and take good notes...the test q's all come from notes. MUST PARTICIPATE! 3 tests, 2 papers, and one group assignment. Hate art, but I have respect for the teacher and the subject! G
Great teacher. She's calm and explains the info very well. Loved the structure of the class even though I hate art. I appreciate art now and of course I appreciate her as a teacher. Very nice. 3 tests, 2 papers, one group proj. Take! She does Art 3 and 1 and I think even American art and maybe art 5 or 6. She gives EC too! NICE!
MAN this teacher is cool! She's really nice and the class is cool. Not too hard, but hard enough to where you need to remember the material. She's awesome and helpful and funny in her own way which is cool!~ TAKE ANY OF HER CLASSES!
This teacher is very fun but the material is SO boring. Literally fell asleep all the time, i felt bad for prof. I really dont like Art History but she tries to make it exciting. Her tests are pretty easy but you have to review and take good notes or else you wont do so well. I didnt use my book at all. Great professor though!
Whitney is the bomb!! She explains everything well and is fair to all. Her projects are very reasonable and I understand more about a subject I thought was lame. She's very helpful and so kind! 3 tests which are relatively easy. Word of advice, prepare essay q's before hand and look at online slides to prep and ull do great. TAKE HER! Youll love it
Ms. Whitney is awesome. If you're interested in art and have an okay memory, you'll do well. She has a participation grade, but if you do really well on tests and papers, you shouldn't worry about it.
Her lectures are interesting and she makes it fun with her cute little comments. She gives extra credit, but if you missed an assignment it won't count! Exams are passable, just study the slides and prepare essay q's beforehand and you're sure to pass.
She's very funny and sometimes takes the conversation a bit outside relevance of the course, but the part that got me was how hard her tests were! The questions ARE MOST LIKELY NOT in the book. I feel like I had to take VERY SPECIFIC notes and still I'd get a C/D on her tests. Take this if you're interested in Native American-Early 90's art.
Whitney is super cool! She's the best! You really understand the material and she is very helpful. EC for going to art museums. She is a fair grader and is nice, funny, and a great teacher. 3 tests- look at the studyguide and slides and prep the essays and youll get an A! 2 papers that are ok, but require work! An A is easy but not THAT easy!
Whitney is fair and very outspoken and she likes the student to participate. The first 2 tests aren't hard but after Italian Renaissance it gets harder because of all the hard Norwegien names to know! Plus there is a group project, so be aware of that. But oveall she is a fair, honest, professor. And yes, I would recommend taking her for Art 3!
Whitney rules! She is so fair and extrememly nice. I have graduated and have moved on to USC and I am still raving about teachers like Whitney! Take her, you won't regret it, in fact you'll regret not taking her, she is kind and helpful and honest a wants you to do your best. Tests are quite fun and she prepares you very well! A must take at elco!
Professor Whitney is not only super nice but she is really helpful & the material is clearly presented in power point form, so it's necessary to study them to be successful on the exams. BARELY used the text book so you need to show up to class to get the information. Gives extra credit opportunities, but you must complete all regular assignments.
fantastic teacher. lectures are very clear (and fun too). the class is well organized, making preperation for the tests clear and directed. helpful study guides also focus your studying right where it needs to be, so you can do well. prof whitney is a fair grader, and she is extremely helpful in person. enjoyed this class and teacher a great deal!
-Really clear. -Powerpoints, very detailed -At times subject can be boring but she makes the best of it. -Fair grader, wouldn't say she easy nor hard but make sure to write all powerpoint notes those were really helpul. -Make a friend or two that will help
Fun! Really good teacher. he makes herself laugh, and the class too. Always smiles, doesn't get sidetracked very much, and the few stories she has are good. She teaches Art Hist of Renn. very well; it was worth learning. I had an issue with an assignment and she helped me right out. I'm not a morning person but she made me want to come to class.
I am not a fan of Art History but Whitney does her best. I ended up getting a B in the class because I slacked off in the beginning and didn't really pay attention. The essays are tedious but she grades fairly. She tries to make class interesting with her randomness and jokes. You don't really use the book. I would recommend her class.
Wonderful teacher! She is so funny and energetic! She barely uses the book, so make sure you pay attention in class. Don't just write down what's on the powerpoint, write down things that she says too. It will come up on the test. Essays are pretty easy, but you will have to go to a couple of museums and there is one group presentation.
AWESOME prof! She loves what she does and is very knowledgeable about her field. She likes student participation esp for 7:45am classes. Her grading is fair and gives EC as long as you complete ALL the work. I found myself looking fwd to class each time. Would def recommend her class for everyone esp freshman bc she is helpful and approachable.
One of the best professors to ever take at El Camino. Her class is not an easy A, but it definitely isnt hard at all! She has a passion for what she teaches and tries to make class fun with her randomness. Easy grader, book not required although she says it is, so dont buy it! 2 museums visits (1) group pwrpt, 2 essays , and 3 tests.
TAKE HER! I had zero prior knowledge of art and received an A. Her energy level is always there and makes class fun. You'll learn a lot.
Excellent teacher, really knows art history and is passionate about art. Gives extra credit going to interesting places. Also has an assistant in the learning center who can help you prepare for exams and essays. I took two art classes and you do need the book. Highly recommend her.
Everyone should take an art class with Prof Whitney! She is amazing and she is pretty clear when she is lecturing! Their are plenty of chances for you to pass but you have to work for it and she will do whatever it takes to help you pass the class! I really like her class she made me love art! I would definitely take her again for Art 2!
Her class is one of my most favorite classes I ever had she is very kind and will help you with anything you need and their is a museum paper but that will be easy to do and their are group work as well! You will definitely regret it if you do not take an art class with her! She is the best art professor you will ever meet and study for every test!
Take every art class that she teaches! She is a great professor and kind as well! Their are group projects, presentation and a museum paper! You do all of that you can get an A in her class! Best part is she gives extra credit! She will make you feel inspired into loving art!
Great professor she definitely will make you feel inspired to loving art and everyone should take art classes with her! It is a good choice to take art class with her you will definitely get a good grade and in order to get a good grade you have to do all the work including a paper and a couple of group projects and make sure do the extra credits!
Amazing professor! I always look forward to class each time and she is definitely helpful and approachable and would definitely recommend everyone to take her class you will love it! Her grading is fair and as long as you complete all the work she will give you extra credit so most likely their will be chances to pass her class! Take her!
Take her! She is definitely knowledgeable in art and if everyone took art classes with her then their would not be many students who get a W or a not passing grade in the school! Students who do not pass her art class are the slackers it is impossible to get a not passing grade in her class their are many chances to pass she will help you pass!
Definitely the best art professor you will ever meet! She is kind and will make the class interesting so you will learn alot from her! Her energy will make you excited for her class every time! But definitely study for the tests though because if you do not study you will definitely not pass the tests and it is important to pass the tests as well!
She makes art so interesting and I really like her class and she is kind! Her randomness is cute and funny! I always feel excited coming to her class and you will feel excited as well! Her class is one of my most favorite classes out of all the other classes! Everyone should take every art class with her!
Definitely makes the environment relaxing and you will learn many different exciting arts in the class! And yes you will have to work for the good grade and you get a learning experience! Take her she is a great professor and definitely would take her again for another class!
You will really like her as an art professor! She teaches art in an interesting way and you will like it when she is random it is what makes her funny and cute! It makes the class more interesting! She is very helpful with whatever you need and you need the book to pass and just do well on all the projects and you will be fine! Take her!
I'm not an Art major but I needed it, so I chose Professor Whitney and it was it the best decision all semester. Her lectures are fantastic and she has a cheerful attitude and really makes going to class easy. The tests are easy(sorry professor). She basically tells you whats on them, so don't be lame and go to class! Plus, a lot of extra credit!
She is an amazing professor. It was the best choice to pick her as a professor for art class. You will like her cheerful and happy personality and her randomness is just adorable. Even if you do not need another art class to fulfill the transfer requirement the way she teaches art makes you want to take another art class with her. Take her!!
Best choice is to take Professor Whitney for any art class you need for the transfer requirement. Her lectures are amazing and you will have tests, projects, papers and tons of extra credit. She is funny and cute.
I've honestly never met someone like this professor. She's the type of person you'd want to have as a best friend & she's very descriptive and shows her passion for art.I love her laugh and she's really beautiful with some class in style.
Prof. Whitney is one of the best teachers I've ever had! She's so enthusiastic and fascinated in the subject. She's super easy to talk to and I found the topic super interesting. She is the type of professor you need teaching this type of class. She does assign a decent work load, but it's totally manageable. Highly recommend!
Have to participate. Takes attendance. Smart. Laughs at her own jokes, shes funny/quirky, the kind of person you would want to do all those "cultured" activities such as travel/ museums since her knowledge is vast. A classy/attractive woman.
Never liked any type of history, but professor Whitney makes art history so interesting. She's so nice and helpful. She knows what she is talking about and makes it easy to understand. Gives study guide before tests which help a lot and group project at end of year is fun.
This was my second time taking her class. I really like how she bring out art in her lecture to make it interesting. The test are not difficult but there is many information for you to have to remember and make sure you study before the test. There is many essay you will have to do during the semester to go to a museum and a research assignment.
You will like her art class but if you are fine with going to a museum for doing a essay then take her class if not then I would not recommend her art class if you do not like going to a museum. The assignment is not hard and there are exam you will have to do and a research assignment.
She has to be one of the best instructor you would like to take for art class and she teaches in a technique where she would keep you wanting to learn art and she does make jokes however beware her test are not that easy and it is stressful if you do not study and it is intense.
I have never seen a class that there is many visit to go to a museum to do for assignment and if you are fine with that then take her but almost every assignment that she has assigned does require to visit a museum and her test is definitely not easy. She gives extra credit which is nice and you can ask her any question but this class is not easy.
There are a couple of essay you will have to do and a presentation and couple of test but the hardest assignment you will have to do is the research assignment and that research assignment is hard and every week coming to her art class is looking at art and figuring out the history about it which is interesting but the class is not a easy class.
She does explaining what she assigned clear however every day is talking about a painting and the test are difficult and the essay she assigned does get hard and she does not explain clear in what she expect us to do in the essay and if you take art class with her then you will see that it is not a easy class.
I would beware taking her art class. Test are definitely not easy and the essay question are not easy and if you think you are going to pass with no studying then that is not true. She is helpful and nice with answering a question however test are the hardest in her art class.
A lot of recent reviews say her exams are difficult but they really aren't. She clearly says all the information in lecture and you can study more w/ the textbook (which she provided for us). If you know how to study and pay attention in lecture this class is extremely easy, I'm surprised people are giving her negative reviews.
She is alright but test are extremely hard if you do not study. This is an art class where you will have to do studying to the extreme. She is clear what she expect us to do in the test and the essay but I never seen a test where it is extremely hard and do not take her art class.
I have never seen a lecture where that is confusing and her lecture is confusing. She goes off topic every week and her test are not easy and you really need to study for the test if you want to get a passing grade and her study guide does not help you pass the test. She moves assignment date often that are due and there is a presentation.
This professor was 50/50 for me. She often went on tangents and lectured a bit too long on PP slides. Which caused the class to be behind this semester. The required book was used a few times in my experience. The tests and final presentation are easy if you put in the work she wants. I would recommend taking a different professor to save you time.
I took her in the Fall and she was one of the best professors I've ever taken! She makes her lectures super entertaining. She's super funny. Her assignments were in the medium range, some of it are easy and some of it are hard. We didn't really get to use the textbook as much because her tests are based on her lectures. TAKE HER FOR ANY ART HISTORY
At first, my test score came out terribly but for the next test, i made sure i made a BIBLE out of her lectures and got a fairly good grade! Just remember as much as possible about each art pieces. Its pretty much the only way you can pass. But dont worry lectures are very fun and interesting. Her book is confusing but read everyday effectively!!!
Professor Whitney is so amazing, the only way the tests will be hard is if u are a lazy student. EVERYTHING on her exams are from the lectures so if u take good notes and show up to class u should be OKAY! (Only 2 exams anyways) She is super funny, friendly, and approachable. She cares about her students and will answer any questions you have!!
This teacher has a fantastic attitude and spunk that makes the class enjoyable. I'm not so much of a history person but this class is kind of another realm. Definitely recommend for anyone!
Lectures are engaging, graded by 2 exams, group project, a quiz and a museum report. She gives you what artworks will be on the exam along with essay questions, so studying for the exam is easy although it is tedious. Tests are a bit nit-picky, so attending class is mandatory to understand the artworks. Easy, fun course. Very lenient and caring.
Professor Whitney made class very enjoyable. She is passionate about her subject and lectures clearly on the topics. Talking to her is very easy if there is ever a problem you are having in the class. She gives you every opportunity to get the grade you want and will help you in any way you need. I wish more teachers had the heart she does.
I absolutely adore Professor Whitney. She is hilarious, very bright, and extremely approachable if you're ever having trouble with her class. The exams cover a lot of material but she puts it all in a review online, so passing is easy if you put in the work. Most of exam material come from lectures, so skipping isn't an option.
def would recommend this professor. need to study and lots of memorization for the tests. 2 research-based papers, 2 exams, and a group project at the end of the semester. lots of room for extra credit. very funny and gets to know her students. would take this class again.
Prof. Whitney is a great teacher. She is extremely kind and knowledgeable about art and all aspects of it. We had two tests, one semi-long (30 questions) quiz online, one paper, and a group project at the end of the semester. We also had small quizzes throughout the semester. You will not regret taking this class. I loved her!!
Professor Whitney is hilarious and she's passionate about art history! She's the best prof I've had for the subject so far, and as an art major I wish I had her earlier. She's really quirky/loves telling stories but she's also very serious about her lectures too. Offers a lot of EC, a few papers/exams but if you put in the work you'll get an A.
Super chill teacher. You really don't have to stress over this class.
Mrs. Whitney is awesome! Such a great teacher and really knows what she is talking about. The class is fun, the lectures are interesting and she is just wonderful overall. If you need help she is there to help you out and gives you three opportunities for extra credit. You will learn about art history in her class for sure and have fun doing it.
Professor Whitney is great. Take great notes during her lectures and you will be golden. One paper for the semester with short answer responses on the exams. She is funny and very caring.
She is super quirky, funny, super understanding, flexible, and caring! I've never met a teacher like her! She isn't ridged and if you have problems with submissions, she is always happy to help and don't hold it against you! She is organized and if you take notes from her slides, you are good to go for the tests and written assignments! Love her!
karen whitney is one of my favorite professors ever she's so passionate about art and has such a way with words, while still remaining very personable and funny. she'll gives wonderful feedback and is easy to access for any questions or assistance. HIGHLY recommend.
Prof Whitney's class is super fun & educating. I didn't know there was so much behind an art piece until I took her class. Exams are really easy as long as you review the study guide she posts, & she offers a lot of extra credit. Her personality is very laidback & easygoing, so approaching her for help isn't an issue. Has 1 group project at the end
professor Whitney is compassionate and understanding, you can tell she really enjoys what she does. theres a couple of test which are easy to pass as long as you study, the test do include short-answer responses. the final exam is a group presentation. she does offer extra credit and extra support if necessary. take her class!
Loved this class and professor! I loved her lectures, which you would not want to MISS because what she says WILL be on the test. The tests can be hard if you miss a lecture, but otherwise, take good notes and you will pass. She has a museum project + extra credit + papers. Drink coffee before class because once the lights are dimmed... zzz
I have nothing else to say, just take her class. You won't regret it
There's aloooooot of reading. This is just one of those classes that makes you not want to be in college. Pointless!
Professor Whitney is passionate about the subject which makes the class more interesting. She gives solid feedback on essays and final project exhibition drafts. Would highly recommend taking this honors class if you're an art or art history major!
Pretty strict for an art history professor. She expects very high-grade essays with exact MLA citations and perfect English. Make sure you've taken some English classes. Art History classes should, in my opinion, not be this strenuous, or at least I've never taken one this strenuous. Discussions and quizzes are probably the easiest assignments.
Not a good online professor. I think that the reading expected in this class is a bit much. I'm not here to be an art history major. When I have to fake and pretend I'm interested in the material, it really does a number on me. Please look to find another professor who will actually treat it like an art history class and not a English 500 class.
Took her this summer, a lot of work. I don't think she actually read my essays because they were bad, and I got 90/100 + being late.
I really liked her class. I don't know why people here rated her poorly. She has a clear schedule of assignments-- No surprises. There is a lot of video and article reading, but not an unbearable amount. There are a couple of extra credit opportunities throughout the semester. Easy A. Very lenient grader. She's probably my favorite online prof <3
I personally enjoyed her style of lecturing and the material that was taught. An easy A as long as you do the work.
Fantastic prof. So knowledgeable about art history it's amazing. Interesting lectures, easy quizzes/exams. Very approachable. Great class to take as an elective or for the art/art hist major. Papers (2 + a mini 1 page one) are straightforward and graded accordingly. 1 project at the end, also very simple. Actually go thru the modules, they r cool.
You can really tell that Prof has a passion for Art History, though sometimes her lectures didn't really help the short quizzes we took (based on weekly module). Extra credit is going to an art museum and writing a 1/2 page review. Grades fairly and gives good feedback. Final is a group presentation to the class.
GREAT professor tbh. I only took this class for the honors credit, but I'm glad I got to enjoy it. Prof. Whitney clearly cares about the subject she teaches, and she gives a lot of opportunities and second chances for everything. Extensions, absences, extra credit, feedback, etc.
Cool professor. Not a hard class and assignments are easy if you go to class normally and do readings.
Very straightforward class. Lectures can be boring but she does her best to keep you interested. Basement location plus lights off during the slides personally made me really tired and hard to keep my eyes open. Overall a good teacher though.
Professor Whitney is a great teacher who knows her stuff. She's also got an upbeat, positive attitude. While I wasn't particularly interested in art history, and it was a bit difficult retaining attention throughout the morning class lectures, I did find myself enjoying the essays a whole lot more than I would've initially expected.
I would definitely recommend taking her course. I took this course hybrid. The days we didn't meet she responded quickly to emails answering any questions or concerns. She provided the text we used throughout the semester. If you have to miss class just communicate with her she's very understanding. Do the work and you'll pass.
Not easy but not too difficult either. As long you follow instructions then you should be good. I enjoyed the class and it's recommended to take an art history course before taking this one to be familiar with the content. Overall the professor is nice and is willing to help
I really enjoyed taking this as a hybrid course! Note that a lot of your grade will depend on papers, there are 2 longer & 1 short, and she does grade them like one would for an English course, so you need to have some basic writing skills down. I loved her personality & clear passion for the subject. (Also 1 easy group presentation as a final)
Loved her class, though the subject was somewhat boring, she made the class fun and engaging. There were only 2 essays and 1 group presentation project. Not much homework which mainly consisted of quizzes based on the lecture she gives. Only thing she was mainly strict about was the essay formatting which is MLA, but other than that, she's great!
Prof. Whitney is so far one of my favorite professors I've had this year. Her lectures are great, just prepare w/ the readings for them and you're good to go. She's funny and can make even boring topics engaging. There's a bit of video watching but nothing too crazy. 2 essays and one group project. Made me love art history more!
There are a few assignments overall; she is a lenient grader, and I easily got an A in class without needing to put as much effort. There are only 4 quizzes, 4 discussions, and a final presentation. Would take her again!
