very sweet lady and very willing to help with anything you need. i forgot to bring in an assignment for lab four weeks in a row but she still accepted it and didn't take off any late points. her class was very easy but DON'T MISS ANY LABS. if you're always there you're going to do very well.

She's a good teacher. She's fair but will go out of her way to help in any way possible. Any questions you have ask - she is good about clarifying things and seeing when the class is confused. Study a little for lab and you'll get an A for sure! Lec was a little harder for me, but not because of her. If anything she helped me get a better grade!

Great teacher, wonderful human being. Cares about students more than most teachers I've had. You will learn in her class; she takes time to answer ALL your questions!! Totally recommend her!

Karrie is an Awsome teacher, and overall person. She works woth her son in Scouts, and she is a loveable person. She is very understanding, and you pass this class with at least a A- if you put all you can into it. She is AWSOME!! i loved her class! if you want to graduate with Honors, TAKE THIS CLASS!

I'm in her class right now and I love it. I usually hate Science, but she's made it very easy to learn. She's very sweet and super helpful. Her exams are tough, but if you study the notes that she gives you in lecture then you should do fine. Highly recommended.

This is my first semester in college, but so far, Ms. Eamma is my favorite professor. I generally can't stand Science, but her teaching is wonderful clear and she's extremely helpful. I actually enjoyed her class (lab). She's a really sweet person, as well. Definitely recommend taking Ms. Eamma for lab. I'm sure she's great in lecture, as well.

AWESOME teacher. Had her for lecture and lab. Pretty easy A or B. No need for the book at all, she gives you fill in the blank notes that has everything you need for tests on it. Gives good study guides and extra credit. Only tests you on what she covers in lecture and you can have a note card during the tests. Very nice and helpful.

Ms. Eamma is an excellent teacher one of the best at TCC she really cares about her students. I struggled from the beginning of the semester because of a disability. She took time with me after each class to help me understand what I missed during her lectures. I highly recommend her. Made an A. Work hard and study you will make an A.

Very good teacher,very helpful, makes a subjectively complicated topic as easy to understand as possible. She puts a heavy emphasses on human biology which makes it more interesting. There is alot of fill in the blank notes(which sounds easy, but its A Lot to remember) Offers extra credit

This teacher was O.K. Although she is very friendly, you need to study her notes carefully if you do not want to fail. Lab was definitely more enjoyable for me with another teacher and a lot easier.

A REALLY great teacher! She makes the subject understandable and somewhat fun. She understands this is NOT a major's class and gives you a good understanding of the subject. Gives lots of notes, lets you use a front-back notecard on the test. DO THE EXTRA CREDIT! They are videos and it really does make the difference. I'd take her again :)

Have her for lecture and lab. Excellent teacher, fun, understandable, helpful, everything you'd like to see in a teacher. Gives you pre-printed notes in lecture. Lets you bring in a notecard (Front and back) to use on tests. You do still need to study for her tests, have an A+, but I still learned a lot. Wonderful teacher, I highly recommend her.

It is always awesome to have a teacher that likes to teach. Eamma wants her students to understand the material covered because it affects us. She gives lots of EC opportunities, study guide for the test, and you can use a note card. Buying the book is optional since you have the outlines. Take her if you can.

At first her class starts out easy. Then she starts cramming stuff in to get it in on time. I didn't like that. Over all she is still a good professor. Had her for lab and lecture. I didn't feel her study guides were very helpful. Made an A.

She was alright. Not completely easy like some of the comments I've seen. She was just O.K., you have to at least study the notes, which her notes are thankfully easy to follow.

Her tests were incredibly difficult, I though I understood what was going on but the test questions are not from the review. Questions are worded weird. I'm glad others had such an easy time with her, I sure didn't. And I never missed a day of class.

I loved this teacher! She was so awesome. She has outlines for every class lecture, so you really don't even need to buy the book. She is so nice and always answered everyone's questions. I would most def recommend her. She knows her subject so well and teaches it to where everyone understands. If you study and attend class, you'll do really well.

I cannot say enough good things about Mrs. Eamma. She is SO nice and helpful. Her classes are pretty cut and dry, not too complicated. She is willing to work with you if you need it. Great teacher if you have no interest/knowledge in Biology. Love her.

She is AMAZING! Her lectures are clear and her labs are great. You have to study though. Her notes are so easy to follow. I would take her again. I didn't make an A but only because I'm bad with tests. Her tests make you think but overall AMAZING teacher. She will help and is quick to respond to emails. I'd suggest taking her lecture and lab.

Took her lecture and lab. Great teacher. No homework. Lots of extra credit. Fill in the blank notes for lectures. If you can understand and remember the notes, the tests are easy. Labs are fun and you get out early every lab.

For a NON Science major course, this was not the easiest. I disagree with above comments about only knowing outline. Not True. Take her for lab but take somebody else for lecture. she also has a problem controlling people who like to whisper and talk during class to friends. It gets distracting.complaining to her does no good. sweet lady though

For non majors she can be a little challenging,but if you are a non major that probably means you may often think of science as challenging. My sister had her and told me to take her, and I'm so glad I did! Biology isn't a fun subject in the first place, but she does a good job at making it interesting! Fill in the blank notes, multiple choice tests, and extra credit opportunities all semester! I took her lab, too! I got an A in both, but I had to work for it! Highly recommended!

PROFESSOR EAMMA IS A SUPER NICE LADY. SHE IS VERY HELPFUL BUT HER TESTS ARE BEYOND HARD. I WILL BE TAKING HER AGAIN. I DONT THINK I CAN PASS BIOLOGY WITH ANY OTHER PROFESSOR BESIDES HER.

Her: She's a nice woman, very helpful. Class: Moves quickly. Interesting. Fill-in-the-blank outlines, just print and bring. High book use for studying. 4 tests plus final, no mid-term. Extra credit and 3x5 index card allowed on all but final. Lowest grade replaced by final, if higher. Highly recommend.

I am taking this prof for lab and i really enjoy it. I have got A's and B's on every quiz even though I've just barely passed tests with a different teacher in my lecture class. Every day 5 minutes before class she goes over material that will be on the quiz, which helps a TON. I don't know what kind of a lecture prof she is, but take her for lab!!

Prof. Eamma was extremely helpful. The thing is if you don't ask questions or your doubts when she finishes explaining something, you might feel a bit lost. But,just go ahead and do it; after she's done explaining or after class, its worth it and she'll really help you. Easy lab quizzes, goes over everything before the quiz and finals are awesome!

Very sweet older lady. Posts fill-in-the-blank notes online and lectures using visual PowerPoints and videos. Gives great examples. If you're going for an A, get the textbook. If not, pay attention in class and you should do fine. She lectures the entire period, so be on time. Always willing to answer questions, but easily falls behind. M/C tests.

While she's not the most exciting lecturer, she's perfect in lab. She's super caring and eager to help everyone in the lab. She makes herself constantly available for help and her lab class is really a lot of fun. My ultimate recommendation would be her for lab and Cash for lecture. It's the perfect combination and I did really well in biology.

The class is for non science majors and she teaches to that level, not very difficult if you show up and put some effort in. You could probably get by without the textbook since she provides lecture outlines to fill in during class. She gives good test reviews and lots of extra credit. No reason not to make an A. She gives weekly quizzes in lab and lecture which she basically gives mini reviews for and helps out so much. Tests were around 70 questions but she gave detailed reviews for them. You just need to study to succeed. No homework given.

She was AMAZING!! A quick and easy quiz as a review of the last lab that she would correct and give back to you to use as notes. Before the review quiz, she would review the previous lab and answer any and all questions. Lab was explained very well and she made sure everyone understood every step of the way. Vary kind person.

I had professor Eamma the past spring and I really liked this course better than 1408. I have to say that for lab, we got to go to the Botanic Garden and the Zoo. She is really kind and wants to give students as many grades as possible. Watch out for her long tests, but if you put the time and effort to study, you will do great in this course.

I had Professor Eamma in the spring also for Biology 1409 lab. I really enjoyed the lab part; however the last few labs in the course were fun but also challanging. I missed one lab due to an illness, when you miss a lab, you won't get credit for that lab quiz. She really cares about her students. We even got to disect a pig.

The best biology professor I have ever had, legitimately made me interested in the subject even if its not closely related to my major. It is important to attend lecture and class, it should be no surprise you will get a better grade if you do.

She's a great and easygoing professor who offers plenty of extra credit and even allows a notecard for tests, which is great for a non-major science class. The only downside is the two required assignments at the botanical gardens and the zoo, which each took around 3 hours and can be unreasonable for busy students.
