This is a very not organized teacher. Always cancels class, doesn't grade half of the work you turn in. I would strongly recommend not taking her. She is the most unorganized teacher I have ever had. We had to buy several books for her class, and only got to 2 or 3 of them. Waste of money and time for all of us. Nobody liked her in my class.

She has got to be the most unorganized person I know and I highly do not reccommend her. She doesn't not grade most of the things you turn in and didn't even start posting any grades in d2l so I didn't know what my grade was until the day of the withdrawal day. also didn't mention anything our final until final week and doesn't follow her syllabus

She is a horrible teacher...totally unorganized and unable to be reached for most of the semester.

I have her right now and wonder how she keeps her job. Horrible teacher, never gives you what you need. I have a test tomorrow due and she has not even given us the material. Never answers e-mail,phone calls. I have reported her and it does no good. Don't waste your dollars.

Horrible teacher!!! Do not be lured in by promises of an easy class! This teacher is disorganized and you will hate her and her class. She didn't give us a syllabus or schedule until it was too late to drop. Also didn't mention online assignments until 3 weeks in. Cancelled class 2 weeks in a row on less than 3 hours notice.

Online poetry, terrible teacher, always gone never there, we contatced the dean, still did nothing, what a waste of money!!!! She is always sick but yet you cannot miss class, no excuses. Dean blambed about her being sick, she whines about her family that why she never has time. I say, get a real teacher

Never responded to students.

I had her for Literature of Diversity. BIGGEST waste of my time. She cancelled class a lot, she got more behind than I ever did. She makes you do bogus activities and make up dumb skits. We didn't read all of the books she made us buy, and some of them were really expensive on a college student's budget. I don't recommend this professor at all.

She should be fired for robbing people of their money.

This teacher is by far the worst professor at Normandale. I tool an online creative writing class with her and she was the worst. She would always email everyone and tell them she is sick or out of town. "Lady you?re a teacher, get your priorities in order!!" Also, all of her homework assignments clearly made no sense at all. DON'T TAKE THIS TEACHE

I took an online creative writing class with her. She took ages to correct our assignments and was EXTREMELY unclear about what to do for the assignments. She would disappear for weeks at a time, and then suddenly post a ton of assignments. The class would have been okay had she actually made an effort. Save yourself some money. Don't bother.

I took her with Intro to Creative Writing (online), I thought this would be a fun class because I'm an English: Creative Writing major. WORST CLASS I've ever taken. EVER. We are less than three days away from finals week and I still have no grades. SPENT WAY TOO MUCH MONEY ON BOOKS WE DIDN'T USE! I WOULD NEVER RECOMMEND HER TO ANYONE!

Was very unclear and disorganized. Despite this she made class somewhat interesting. I would have liked to learn more. Didn't seem to really care about TEACHING students about actual literature. Eh. Take Kari if you want to "slide by". Don't take if you prefer to learn a lot about literature.

This is one of the worst teachers I have ever encountered. One of the most unorganized professors I have ever seen. Do not take this class if you are looking for clear instructions or any significant learning experience. Awful.

The class was super disorganized and I did not feel like I earned a grade. I felt like I was doing a bunch of random unrelated things all semester. She shows up late to class about a quarter of the time and it was overall very stressful to take this class. I would not recommend her.

I took her hybrid course (partially online) and this was probably the hardest class of the semester for me. She gave so much homework and was so behind on grading that I found myself still doing revisions after the semester had ended which was because she handed everything back to us last minute. This class takes up a lot of time, she is flexible.

She is extremely unorganized. She often showed up to class late and without the materials she wanted us to read. She would also test us on materials that weren't given or posted online. She does not update grades regularly, so you might not have any clue of what grade you're getting until the final ones are posted. Her class was very frustrating.

Doesn't grade anything on time, took 2 months to get a scavenger hunt back that we did in the first week of class. Nothing about the class is literature, she just chose books that she liked(2 of which were from her friends in college). Nothing in the class connects to other things that we've done. Plenty of typos in her handouts too. Waste of time.

Never graded anything on time, my most stressful class. Waited until FINALS WEEK to get something graded we did the first week. Would take away points for the most minor of mistakes, was late almost every class, most of the class wasn't even literature related. Was frequently late to her own office hours,

I tried to like her. I really did, but as the semester went on. I realized that this was not going to be a good semester with her. Like I stated she seems like a nice person but as a teacher, no. She rarely grades anything on time. Class due dates are incorrect. Teaches new subjects every week and then forgets about it. Confusing lectures.

By far the worst instructor I have ever had. If you want a good teacher that actually makes sense and is concise, dont take her! She never is on time, is not clear WHATSOEVER with her grading or time constraint policies, and she doesnt give clear answers or feedback. By the end of the semester, dont be surprised if shes still grading week one!

I have rarely had a teacher more disorganized and chaotic. She is extremely unclear in all of her directions, is chronically 10-15 minutes late to every class, cancels class frequently, doesnt grade in an appropriate amount of time, her feedback is shoddy at best, responds to emails at her luxury, lectures are confusing. Overall very horrible!

She will take off 20 points for missing a minor detail. Her grading is all over the place. He eis not consistent in any way. Is always late. My class started with 30 people, and we ended with 11. She taught material that she found interesting, but not relating to writing. Feedback is awful. My writing skills have worsened since. DO NOT TAKE!

Not a very good experience. Kari was a very poor professor. Frequently late. Her entire class after ours had dropped. 30 students. Withdrew. By midterms. She ended class early almost every day. Our class only had 5 students left by the time I withdrew.

If you have the chance to go to another professor, go for it.

Mrs. Fisher is a nice professor, honestly, but she's really disorganized. Was never in class on time, walking probably 10-15mins late with a stack of books and starbucks. Doesn't grade assignments on time or responds to emails. She won't tell you when things are due so get ready for that as well. Her D2L page? SO CONFUSING. Do not take this class.

Never replies to emails, and always come to class at least five minutes late. Class was pointless. Gives homework with no details or due dates. Then delays it even longer. Doesnt grade until the semester ended. Would take more than five points off over a small mistake. Horrible feedback. Very chaotic and disorganized.

If you have the chance to take another prof, take it. This professor is completely disorganized, confused, inattentive to anyone in class. Always late. Never responds to emails. Never follows up with answers. Doesn't grade work at all. She means well, great character but she's not a good professor. She does not care at all. Find a different class.

Horrible! She has the ability to send out her own e-mails but she is unable to reply to her student's e-mails. I bet she doesn't even look at them! She is extremely disorganized and her grading does not make sense. She did not grade anything until it was the end of the semester. Her class was irrelevant and attendance is mandatory. Waste of time.

The most unorganized person I ever met. She does not follow her own schedule and also not grading anything. Her lectures are mess and if you need explanation on the key concepts she repeats over and over from the book and can not really explain anything. Get ready to write a lot. Also we bought 3 books for a class and did not use any of them.

You never know what was homework or some of her practice work. She doesn't give out big project and your just in groups a lot and there she has helper in the class but someday they don't help us because she ends up talk about something and then it was time to go. It was a very confusing class.

she was insanely disorganized and never knew what she was doing. she RARELY responded to my emails and doesn't grade on time. she never followed back up with me when she said she would even after MULTIPLE attempts. she even admits she's disorganized, but it was to the point where it severely interfered with the class and my performance in it.

absolutely not. very unorganized and made you wonder how she even became a professor. very hard to get an email response. grades things very late and when she does, shes very strict with it. you'd think she would be at least a bit remorseful when it comes to grading assignments over a month old. geniunely not a great class to take.

She seems like she has no idea what she is doing. She is so disorganized, and it is always late. Her grading makes no sense. Claims she is required to take attendance (not true) and takes away points if you are absent. Directions are also never clear on what she wants you to do. D2L page is very confusing, and she never responds to emails.
