Professor Chami was a great mentor, and I really enjoyed participating in her class. She was very engaging with the students and provided many extra credit opportunities. Additionally, her tests were self-explanatory and very easy to do well if you paid attention in class. Overall, I appreciate all the new things shes taught me!

Took this class as dual credit from my high school. She was an amazing professor who knew what she was teaching. The only reason I rated her what I did was because she would cold call in class. If I took her on the college campus, the rating would probably be way better. Other than that, she's great.

Prof. Chami is very kind and understanding of her students. She always prioritizes her students' mental health and experiences and is willing to work with us on assignment due dates. I felt welcomed and seen in her class discussions that felt like a warm conversation rather than an interview session between students and a teacher.

I'm taking this course as mandatory due to my psychology major but if possible I would take her again she's an amazing professor is very caring and understanding. She takes her time to make sure you understand the material given and does have extra credit if needed.

Taking this class has been rewarding. I found this class enjoyable because she makes the class participate and engage with one another. Her lectures create deep thinking and reflection on various topics. Dr Chami is flexible with her due dates which takes the stress out of missing assignments. There's really no reason to fail her class.

The professor is very attentive to the students, and she is always willing to help with questions and problems. It makes learning fun and not stressful due to assignments and assessments.

She is very serious about participation; if no one answers themselves, she cold calls, so beware of that. However, she gave easy work and not too much. Also is not a tough grader. Great lectures-she actually knows what shes talking about.

Professor Chami provided notes, reviews, and summaries for each chapter covered during online sessions. Participation and attention are highly required in every meeting, which allowed me to engage with other students.

Be prepared to read in all your lessons and to get called on regularly. She does tend to call on students and call them out when they do not pay attention in class. However she is a great and respectful teacher. She is fair and kind and will help you throughout the course. Would take again!!

Dr. Chami is a great teacher which she was fair to all of us and cared that we got a high grade which some teachers don't care about. She had everything organized that we were able to find our assignment and the stuff that we were reading. I like how she was organized and help us be professional.

During online meetings Dr. Chami would go over some of the chapters by asking random students to read and interacting with the class by asking questions. Dr. Chami takes participation into consideration when grading and if students don't pay attention in class they are required to do a paper.

Dr. Chami is a great professor. She cares a lot about you and your grades. You may think she is a very tough professor in the beginning but you will realize that she is actually a great professor. Just pay attention in class because she will call on you randomly in class so always pay attention and if you do not get it, just ask the question.

Be respectful she takes that seriously. She is very lenient and accommodating. If you can't do something on time just email her explaining why she will probably let you do it after the due date for full points.

Professor Chami may come off as passive aggressive but she always means well. She's dedicated to her students, makes the classes interactive and is a very kind woman. She's very organized, understanding and makes sure students know they can email her at any time and she will respond. Shes incredibly smart and does her best to include everyone.

The lectures in this class are very entertaining. I am sure the reason for these lectures being very fun are because proffessor Chami asks us to participate in class and the subject she teaches is very interesting to learn about.

Professor Karima Chami is very versatile in styles of teaching. She covers the material well and makes sure that we understand the subject and what we are learning in the class.

I especially enjoy this class over the majority that I have taken over my time in HCC. The teacher has heartfelt lectures and makes sure that the students understand what is being covered. Professor Chami also brings real life examples into the class making an engaging environment. Overall this Professor is definitely one who you want to procure.
