Mrs Karin Bartemio was a outstanding teacher!! Very helpful and very willing to stay after to help with extra assignments. She allowed extra credit which definetly helps with your final grade. Math isn't my favorite subject and I comprehended the material and felt very prepared for all the tests and quizzes we took throughout the semester! If people are looking for a great teacher in Math I would highly recommened Karin. She will work with you, step by step, one by one. While taking her class last semester I talked to a couple other people in different Math classes and either they dropped the class or were failing. Karin is A+ ALL THE WAY!!

Let me start off by saying that Math had always been a fear of mine. Mrs. Bartemio helped me understand that Math doesnt have to be my biggest fear. Out of all the years I have taken Math, I never had someone make it seem so easy! Her approach to teaching has given me all the confidence i need in Math. See you next semester Karin!

Mrs. Bartemio is the best math teacher I have ever had in my whole life. She is very helpful! She gives lots and lots of examples. . Being a person who was "never good at math" I was really worried about going into a another math class. But she definitely proved to me that math is something that doesn't have to be dreaded.

If you hate math, you'll love Karin! She's fair, lots of chances for bonus points, reasonable homework, and she explains things very clearly. I love her and wish she taught higher levels of math, too. If she did, I would take her for all of them. she's the best!!

I took both 094 and 098 with Ms. Bartemio. She made "math anxiety" disappear for me! She is very enthusiastic about math and it is clear in her teaching. She makes sure you "get it" before she moves on. Great teacher, I will miss her!

she taught my summer class at moraine and she is an amazing teacher, never have i ever had a teacher make math so easy as she does, everyone says math 098 is the toughest but with her i got a B and i am terrible and math, trust me take her you will enjoy her class, she is funny and nice and takes as many questions possible, tests are easy

Ms.Bartemio was one of the best teachers I have experienced at JJC. The way she taught really grabbed my attention. Nothin was handed to you, so you had to work for your grade. If you did bad on a test she gave test corrections out. She really wanted all of her students to pass the class. If you are good/bad at math you should have her as a teacher

First thing, shes sooooo beautifullll, im obsessed. second, she is EXTREMELY helpful. I went in not understanding how to divide, she walked us through a few times in different ways and now i can divide like its nothing. she is great with people who have slight learning disabilities. HIGHLY recommend!

Karin is seriously the best math teacher I''ve ever had. She makes things easy to understand let''s her students practice the math while they''re in class with her. She isn''t just lecturing what she knows but we have time to interact with her and ask questions. If you come to class and do the work you will pass. Homework every day but she reviews it.

She is extremely thorough. She will make sure you understand what you are doing before going continuing on. If you use tutoring, she will give you credit points for it. She loves math and makes math as painless as possible. In my class there were 6 student who had in for 094. They liked her so well, they took her again for 098.

This is the greatest math teacher! If you struggle in math TAKE HER forget everyone else. She explains everything crystal clear and gives plenty of extra credit. I think it is impossible to fail her class. i would take her again for my 095 if she taught it

this algebra class felt really good to take. my skills got improved , and the teacher gave good hints to better understand the problems . the book was used for homework , which is really helpful ! DO IT !! and homework was reviewed each class . great teacher , recommended .

I cannot stress enough how good she is in teaching Math in the simplest way possible so that everyone can understand. I liked her so much that I am taking her 098 class next semester. The way that she teaches makes understanding algebra so much easier! She teaches using methods other teachers have never even heard of. Do the homework, even though it is only worth 5 points and you will have enough practice going into the tests. If you ever need help outside of class, she is happy to answer questions. I enjoyed class with Karin Bartemio ! Very involved with making sure you understand the course ! She made a normal 16 week course do able in 6 weeks! Lots Of Extra Credit opportunities! She also has a good sense of humor !

Professor Bartemio took over my class in the summer. We had this sub who messed the whole class up and Prof. Bartemio did everything she could to help us relearn material and get through the final. I ended up with a 87. She gives packets to help you learn, corrections, and earn extra credit. I wish she wouldve been the teacher from the start.

Cannot put into word how much I owe this woman. She stayed after for anyone who has questions. She cares that you understand math. Wants you to pass but makes you work for it! Great teacher, I could have not passed this class if it was not for Mrs. Bartemio. Gives lots of extra credit, lots of homework, but the homework helped me understand the problems. She answers all your questions. I never thought I would say I actually had fun in a math class. Do what she tells you to do and you will pass this class.

I honestly came into her class not liking math and never liking a math teacher but she totally flipped that for me. Although the semester got cut short because of corona the time I was there she taught in a way that I understood and made math easy and kinda fun to learn. She even made online as easy as she could. Let me begin by saying math isnt my favorite subject; however, Professor Bartemio made math enjoyable. Unfortunately my class was affected by the covid shutdown. So half of my semester had to be taken online. Professor Bartemio was amazing at communicating with her students and made learning a breeze. I highly highly recommend taking her.

I took Mrs. B this past summer during Covid. I was never in an online math course so was very scared about taking it. However, what I liked most was her zoom meetings. They were not required, but helped alot! It felt more like being in class instead of just watching videos and teaching yourself! She is very good and helps you as much as possible

Very good class. Math has never been my favorite but this class was structured well and it was set up with the intentions of having students succeed. There is a decent amount of homework but thats to be expected with a math class. Overall glad that I chose this professor as she was very understanding and easy to communicate with.

As long as you do the MML and watch the videos, you will most likely get a good grade. Professor Bartemio would always send out a reminder the night a test was due which was always super helpful. I had four classes and she was the only one who held zooms for students. Overall, this teacher wants what's best for you and seems very understanding.

Professor Bartemio was great. She is very understanding, fair, and helpful. The class itself is a little bit difficult if you're not so great at math, but the professor offers optional live classes to help those in need. Highly recommend!

I am still currently enrolled in her 094 class in person, and WOW she is amazing! I am doing a 6-week course, and I am usually terrible at math, but Karen truly breaks things down simply and helps! TAKE HER!

Professor Bartemio is incredible! She excels at describing, showing, and explaining math. I was a returning student taking math after 15 years. She was wonderful at helping us to understand the material without speaking down to the class or creating an atmosphere of doubt. She is clean with her communication and very easy to reach out to if needed.

There's a lot of opportunities for extra credit. She setup a zoom call outside of class for struggling students. Provides alternative methods to what is shown in the textbook and is not strict adhering to what is taught if a simpler method works for you. She is very understanding of learning difficulties and students with documented disabilities.

Great math class! Being that I took a couple years off of school, to come back and take this class gave me confidence. Great teacher, explains the topics in great detail and very easy to understand. Always there to help, all you have to do is ask her and extra credit is always offered. Wish she would teach higher math to continue taking her class.

TAKE HER!! Gives extra credit, partner quizzes, test corrections, & thoughtful lectures. I have ALWAYS struggled with math but I finally passed both 094 & 098. She makes it impossible to fail as long as you make an effort. It is crucial to show up, do hw & prioritize the class if you struggle with math, but you will pass! She will help you succeed.

However, her tests are not multiple choice so don't expect to guess your way out of this class. Homework is done on paper and not my math lab which I prefer. Take her you won't regret it!!

She keeps you on your toes. If you have ADHD, or struggle to focus, she will run through all the information in a way that you dont lose focus. She gives extra credit for tutoring and for showing up everyday. You can use notes on quizzes, and a partner. Tests you can't use notes or a partner though. But you can do test corrections for bonus points!
