What a Bia Bia. Don't take her!!!! She blows!!!!

Nice but can go into **** mode at times. You have to basically teach yourself the material because she does not teach. Class seems more like a elementary class.

Her class is the MOST boring class I've ever had. The only thing positive I can say is the test are in the testing center and there are like 3 days to take it. I can't stay awake in there. She takes 20 mins explaining something most can say in 2 words!!!! DO NOT TAKE HER!

She is a very difficult teacher, and has a difficult time getting her point across.

I had her hybrid class, and she absolutely refuses to go over homework questions saying that "its unnecessary" because other students dont need to go over it. and during class she goes over things that arent even related to the online work. if you can, you should take another teacher.

She is an awful professor. She is so self-centered and lectures about herself the entire time. I took her EDU 230 class and she did not know what she was talking about. She treats you as if you are 4 years old. A little respect from her would be nice.I taught myself the information about schools in community. I do not recommend taking her classes.

THIS IS THE WORST TEACHER AT MIDLANDS TECH. DO NOT TAKE HER CLASS, PERIOD. Besides being one of the rudest teachers I've ever had, she's terrible at communication, staying organized and focused on the lecture. Will not excuse any absence. Homework is more challenging than the tests but her grading will make you fail for the simplest mistake.

you use Pearson math lab online, which isn't bad. she gives little homework but its easy and will keep your grade up because you can make a 100 on the homework. her test are easy if you study. rambles alot though and will not stay on track. and im not talking about just a little bit.

HORRIBLE TEACHER!!! Goes off topic does not explain anything clearly. Belittles students and makes class much harder then it should be. MySTAT lab is completely different then whats learned in class.

DO NOT TAKE HER. Continuously goes off topic, MyStatLab homework is nothing like whats taught in class. She belittles students when they ask questions. It's hard to follow the lecture because she won't stop rambling about the same topic. The class could've been taught in a month and a half if it wasn't for her rambling. Don't take her.

I will never take this teacher again. She seems sweet but she can be very rude. Pop quizzes almost every week or 2 & tests are 20 questions. HW is nothing like learned in class definitely do the homework or else you will fail. She never stays on topic which makes it harder to learn. This is easy material but she makes it hard to understand.

If you can't teach yourself the material don't take her

Dont take this professor if you cant teach yourself. She is easily frustrated by questions, and often degrades students who ask questions. She has been difficult to work regarding disability. she wont allow you to have a drink even water, unless youre pregnant. Shes the worst person/teacher Ive ever had the displeasure of working with.

Karin tells you to ask questions, but when you do, she looks at you like you're stupid and then barely answers the question. DO NOT take this class if you can't teach yourself, because she will not accommodate different learning styles.

She doesnt cut you ANY slack!!!! I made a 69 this lady didnt offer extra credit or ANYTHING! If you forget to round its wrong nope not even half of credit. Have to retake it because I need it to transfer me out!! Yes, I made a 69!!! Doesnt leave the homework assignments open throughout the semester like some others do. Very harsh grader RUN

I decided to withdraw because this teacher made me feel like there was no hope to succeed. She encouraged dropping the class and said that we had to do it ourselves when I know a teacher that dropped their student themselves. College math is hard but she made it harder. I could barely take notes while I was trying.

Don't take her class if you can't self-taught. She will make everything becomes more complicated. Her tests are mostly similar to the practice test on MyMathLab.

Does not actually teach, just explains how to do it, works out very few problems. If your not good at math or can not teach your self do not take her.

She moves entirely too fast and is very critical and degrading if you don't understand your work. If you ask for help, she says its review and you should know it already and refers you to tutor dot com. Honestly, I hope to never have to take her class again.

This class was extremely difficult and thought mrs. Beaty herself was very sweet as a person, as a teacher she was awful. I had to teach myself everything throughout the entire semester through khan academy and the textbook. Be prepared for A LOT of homework and to teach yourself the math.

Took this via Virtual class. She lectures so much but seems to just go on and. Once you get behind you are out of luck and if you get lost and don't catch up you might as well drop the class. She gives no grace when it comes to assignments and makes it hard if you don't just eat sleep and breathe prob and stats.

Horrible. Does not teach. You can not get behind at all in this class because she shows no grace. She can also be very rude when you don't understand or disagree with her opinion. I asked her a question about our quiz and she told me if I didn't understand this I was never going to be able to pass praxis of become a junior at usc.

I felt that I could not go to her for help because I did not want to be ridiculed for asking a question. When we asked if she had a study guide or something to help us with the final, she told us if we knew the material we wouldn't need one anyways. Me and several other students found this to be incredibly rude and disrespectful.

i'm currently sitting in my exam. why am i not taking my exam? because she's late by 30 minutes after being extremely condescending about us not being late for the exam, accounting for traffic, get here early if we need to. and she's stuck in traffic. this is a recurring theme with her class, along with her random tangents that are irrelevant lol

Terrible. She would spend all of the class going over homework or tests and then briefly go over the lesson in the remaining 10 minutes of class. She doesn't actually teach the material, she just talks about it and expects the students to teach themselves. Beaty is unorganized and often makes mistakes. NEVER AGAIN!

On my first day she does a riddle to which I couldn't complete, she spent the rest of the class DEGRADING me, calling me out, and saying things like "those who didn't get the riddle will likely fail* I was the only one who didn't get it.This has continued for weeks ,most incompetent teacher ever. I could go on.STAY AWAY FROM HER. SHE SUCKS SO BAD.

She has to be the most unorganized teacher I have ever had. She can not stay on task and makes multiple mistakes. Beware asking questions because she will speak down to you. She will not teach you because she doesn't know how even though she claims it to be her "passion." I am disappointed in MTC for allowing her to teach for so long.

I know the first year in college is supposed to be hard, but I feel as though this professor made it harder for me and my classmates. She never gave us any extra credit, only saying the homework was basically extra credit. You couldn't ask her a question because whenever you did she would shoot you down immediately with a rude response.
