very interesting lectures and shes nice too
Very energetic, fun and nice. Sometimes brings her dogs to class. Great instructor overall.
This class was hard. No homework, gives extra credit. Takes 4/6 tests and averages them out. She brings her dog to class sometimes.
Attending class EVERYDAY is a must because she breaks lectures and lessons as easy as 1,2,3. She's entertaining especially when she brings her dogs in. Although the class can be boring she'll make everything easy and understading. HIGHLY recommend.
she is great! teaches traditional material in an very interactive environment. She made class fun (if you can believe it)
She's an AMAZING teacher... I totally enjoyed her class... She's funny, and it's very cool that she uses her dogs to demonstrate certain things she's teaching... I highly recommend her!!!
she is sweet and hard at the same time. don't miss class and do extra credit. if you show interest, she'll be nice with you, but if you seat in the back and miss class, she'll ignore you. the dogs will eat you food...seal it!
She is great! Her class is really hard though. If you don't know psych, you will after her class. Sit up front and show some interest and you will do much better than if you sit in back.
Difficult subject matter. Has a funny sense of humor, when it comes out.

PRETTY COOL, ALTHOUGH SHE'S A LiTTLE TOO iNTO HER DOGS WHiCH SHE BRiNGS TO CLASS AND ARE SOMETiMES DiSTRACTiNG. SHE'S PRETTY NiCE AND HAS A GOOD ATTiTUDE. PRETTY MUCH LECTURES, NOTES, AND TESTS. ALSO GREAT EXTRA CREDiT OPTiONS WHiCH ARE PRETTY FUN AND C
Her dogs fought over my backpack today. I figured if it was inside they wouldn't come near it, but they did. Haha. She's pretty cool, she makes dumb jokes that makes you laugh. She gives good information and great examples. She seems like a great teacher!
Aww! I really like this woman. She is a bit quirky but definitely entertaining. I find her dogs and the way she talks about them very endearing.
An excellent and clear teacher. Though she had a weird sense of humor, she made the subject matter very interesting by bringing in her dogs. And the dogs arent just things to stare at in class. She really makes them relate to the class. I didnt get much hw, only extra credit. Dont blow her tests though, otherwise your grade will go down.
one of the rare teachers who are really clear on their lectures, she has super structure when writing on the board so u can take really good notes. study off your notes, skim the book before class, n u ll pass with at least a B. the research paper sounds interesting n easy but dont put everything off til the end. no hw yes EC dogs are entertaining.

The quiz reviews that she gives out REALLY help so if you take her class, be sure to go through them before you take the test. One neat thing is, she lets you use a 3 by 5 note card with notes on it. You have to turn them in at the end of the class though. I like the dogs that she brings to class, they're so cute.
she has interesting lectures and tries to make it fun. However the first week of class I couldnt figure out if I was in a psych class or a dog behavioral class. The tests are pretty damned hard. But no homework till the end.
brings dogs to class..
Professor Hu is a sweet woman, and not only was a great teacher, but a great person. She is quirky and eccentric and really cool. I love her dogs. She is one of the best teachers I've had. If I were to fault her for anything, it would be that she does not expect enough from students.
she is hard. test make up your grade and they are confusing! she uses the concepts and creates scenarios that you then have to analyze. but shes nice and brings dogs to class
I had her for honors, which i accidentally took, but i decided to try it out. Dont miss class. I you pay attention and take good notes and you read the book you will do fine. Use your notes and book to study. She allows you a 3X5 index card front and back for notes to use on the test...I GOT AN 'A' and i dont usually get any 'A's'
Great Teacher
One of the best teachers I have ever had. Clear, concise, willing to explain, gives time for class discussions, seemed to ALWAYS entertain questions (even the obvious ones) with sincere answers given (if an argument) through scientific method. LOVE HER. I got a B :( MAKE SURE YOU TAKE NOTES AND GO TO CLASS. If you don't your grade WILL drop.
I love dogs so I like how she brings hers to class sometimes. Dr. Hu's easygoing and her tests are really straightforward. Even if you don't do well, she provides lots of extra credit, so that it's hard not to get at least a B. I just don't like how the ability to verbally participate in class is a little limited.
She is a very helpful instructor that would answer anyone's question(s). She often brings up something funny or something interesting that relates to the subject of study. Go to class, do review questions, and you will do fine.
Good teacher, made research and methods fun by intergrating her lectures with experiments. Very knowledgeable in her field and all around nice teacher. You have to pay attention to her lectures and take notes, if you do that you'll be fine.
She is really good at teaching. This subject is pretty boring, but she makes it interesting and funny. She is really good at teching. Her tests are right out of the book. If you take good notes and listen real well, you'll get an A.
Very sweet teacher. Her personality is so cute too. She really loves to teach and has a passion for dogs. She brings her dogs to class to demonstrate different psychological perspectives, which makes for an interesting class. Her tests are very easy, even in the honors section. This is a good teacher and an interesting class.
The best professor I've had at CCSF. Though her tests are detailed & challenging for me, I definitely learned A LOT in her class. She's great because she's really enthusiastic about teaching. That's a very important quality for a teacher to have.
Very interested in her subject, she makes it interesting to the students. She's a bit of an odd duck, but don't let that stop you. The tests are INCREDIBLY easy. The most annoying thing was other students who expect to be handed an A for showing up - I've heard that it wasn't just my class, but other 1b classes, too. Dr. Hu is good, though.
Good teacher to have, one of the best I've ever had. You'll learn a lot from her, the class is pretty easy, the key is the term paper and the quizzes, as well as attendance. I got a "B" in this class, I also had her for Psyc 1 and I got the same grade. Highly recommend her if you're majoring in Psychology
took Dr. Hu's honors course, fould class interesting and easy. The concepts are straight out of real-life so you have to be rather dense if you don't ace this course. I didn't take notes or study much and killed it anyways. She's a great teacher, intelligent asides and quirky humor, along with an almost fool-proof class structure catering to the lo
Professor Hu is fair, I didn't do too well on her exams- Her exams are really hard. However, she does give students extra credit- I managed to get a B without studying any of her exams and doing the EC- she doesn't give out A's unless you earn it!
Her lectures are really interesting, and they follow the book very thoroughly. Quizzes were tricky but if you read and took notes you will do fine. Not to mention she lets you use an index card on quizzes. She also gives extra credit. Got an A but had to work for it.
Karin is a demanding teacher. She also teaches the harder subject matters (besides psyc 1) in the field of psychology. However, she prepares you for upper division psych classes in prestige universities. Also, her exams IMHO are not that hard if you've really studied.
hu is pretty easy. taking her this sem and passing. Mostly if ppl do extra credit, they will pass with a B. Her lectures are fun. Take her if u want a good time.
I love Dr. Hu! She is so funny and always has something interesting to say. Review questions are hmwk, therefore mandatory. (Unlike psych 1H.) There is a project you work on throughout the course that is due at the end of the semester. Exams are OK, studying helps. She is very fair and understanding. :)
She is a sweet lady but her lectures can get painfully boring.study for the tests and make sure you cover all the requirements for the research project and you should be OK.
I LOVE DR. HU! Highly recommend if you're a psych major! She is MOST DEFINITELY one of the BEST teachers at CCSF. Her classes aren't easy though. She's very enthusiastic about teaching psychology. I wish all teachers were like her. I wasn't bored in her class at all. Very interesting lectures! TAKE HER!
Ok, im really not sure how anyone could have possibly given her a good rating. First, let me preface by saying that I LOVE psychology.I also always get good grades. With that said, Karin Hu, is by far one of the most MEDIOCRE teachers that I have ever had, period. She is unreasonable, and DOES NOT care about her students. you have been WARNED.
she is a really good teacher! and easy I got a c in most of my test and came oyt with a B in an HORNOR CLASS!
Love Hu! i took her for psy 1 and took her for psy 1b this semester! she explain clear and organize. TIP TO HER CLASS! for the review sheet that she gives out to prepare for quizzes, MAKE GOOD USE OF THEM!.they are your key to success! as long as you study her review sheet, you can easily pass her class with an B.
Even though I got a good grade in this class, I DON'T recommend her. Her writing is illegible, she doesn't explain material well. You can use note cards for quizes, but her test questions are very tough. Her attitude is: you are a college student and must study very very hard. It's irrelevant if you have other obligations.
I took Psych 1 with Ms. Hu only because I took 2 years of Psych in HS and I thought Ms. Hu would be a great Psych teacher. I didn't really like her teaching because her lecture notes were all over the place. I guess it's a preference thing... If it wasn't for my spectacular term paper, I don't think I would've passed her class.
Dr. Hu is an EXCELLENT teacher! Her lectures are very clear, understandable, and holds your interest. Pauses at new topics to answer any questions. Tests are easy IMO if you bothered reading the textbook. You can use a index card w/notes for quizzes. Unlimited excused absenses. Plenty of EC choices. Dogs to class! She's funny and adorable too!
i loved her class. shes straightforward, easy to understand, and doesnt grade too hard. tests are fair and she lets you have note cards, best 4 out of 5 count. easy extra credit, and the term paper isnt too bad. you do have to read the book though.. easy grade
Dr Hu is a great teacher, with a quirky and fun sense of humor. She really knows BioPsyc, and if you participate she will help you along. Gives handouts and review sheets before tests. Read the text as the lectures follow pretty closely. Dr Hu took my Achilles' Heel, which is Science, and made very interesting. Also, you get to play with Play-Doh:)
I will keep it simple. Interesting subject did the extra credit earned an B
Took the honors section of PSYCH 1 with her. Highly recommend the honors section, as the only difference is more in-class conversation and the term paper being weighed a little more heavily. Really interesting lectures and presentations. Brings in her dogs from time to time, which mixes things up. You'll work a bit for it, but you'll get an A!
U really need to read and have a clear understanding of the topics in order to pass. Best 3 out of 5 quizzes count. lets u use note cards for all of them. 3 unexcused absences allowed, every one after that affects your grade by 1%. EC up to 10% worth. nice, quirky, funny lady. sometimes she brings her doggie :) and u can bring yours too!
Dr. Hu is great. Lectures are clear and concise. She's got a Ph.D. from Johns Hopkins and did a fellowship at Stanford...a.k.a....she knows her stuff! Tests are difficult, but she lets you bring a 3x5 2 sided study card to refer to. If you apply yourself you'll get an A, because you take 5 tests during the semester and she drops the lowest 2 scores
Never taken a psych class before & i had a difficult time. Best 3 out of 5 quizzes. lets u have note cards so USE THEM!! Recomend you do all the reading!! Tests can be hard if u don't know the material! i had a difficult time but was able to pass with a C. do extra credit to help bring up your grade!
She keeps her schledue and make her lecture to the point. She always provide interesting and up to date examples so you can bring Psy into daily life. Study your notes and read through your textbook to get an A. Her quizes are straight forward. You study and you will definitely know it. 3out of 5 quiz score with the use of note cards, great right?
She's a great professor in the sense that she makes a tough subject understandable. She gives out five quizzes, where only the three best scores count. The final is cumulative. There is one term paper. She allows you to use a 3x5 note card for the quizzes and the final. She also sometimes brings her pet dogs into class.
If you can keep up she's an awesome professor. She works w/ clarity, precision, & is very understanding.
She is a character, her tests are mostly easy. Read the chapters and do the online practice quizzes that the publisher provides and you'll have most of grade in very easily. Regret not taking it for a letter grade it was that easy.
I love her class, she is nice and really understandable. If you follow her direction, read the text book, and finish those review questions, is easy to earn a good grade. Take her!!
Her long review questions cover most of what you need to know for her quizzes. Make sure to take advantage of using the index cards in quizzes. Clear lectures; sometimes even enjoyable with her dogs supplementing her demonstrations. Small group discussions were helpful too. Tends to be a bit too biological. A strict but very good teacher to have.
Hu is a great professor. Gives extra credit opportunities. 1 research paper (because this is an honors class!) and allows 1 notecard for exams. She brought in her dog to class, it was super cute! Study hard for this class because the material is not easy.
Grade:60% Quizzes, 20% final, 5% each for participation and attendance, 10% for Term Paper (it is kind of confusing)...For test you can have a 3x5 index and 10% extra credit (lots of effort for extra credit)... All I can say is that you need to take a lot of time in this class and read your books because it will help a lot. She is nice, but not easy
I love pysch so I loved this class. I had already learned some of the material in high school but I learned them in deeper detail in this class. Dr. Hu is really nice and friendly and this class is actually quite easy. She brings in her dog sometimes. Easy tests and assignments, just know your material.
I loved her class, she is such a great professor. She is really entertaining and informative. I took the summer course and it was fast pace but still one of the best class I've taken. She allows you to use one note card but still make sure that you study ahead of time. If you want a good laugh and learning experience, take her class!
her class is a fairly easy class but there is this term paper that she gives out and it is very confusing she only gives you a certain period of time to ask her questions about the assignment and she said that she will not answer any emails regarding the assignment. never gave me direct answers about the term paper then told me to figure it out.
She is... quite different from your average professor, in a good way. She has a fun quirky personality, and her lectures are usually engaging and interesting. There are lots of group activities and class discussions. Be prepared to slave over your textbook, however, because this class demands a lot of studying to get an A. Its' a fun class though!
Dr. Hu is a very interesting person. She's personable and answers questions well, but she doesn't cover all of what is going to be on exams so make sure you're the type of person who can study independently from the textbook. She allows a double-sided page of notes for exam and provides review questions for each (DENSE) book section. Recommended.
Even though I got a B, I am saying this is a tough class. The only good thing is that she drops 2 of the lower scores among 4 tests. But most of the time its easy to get lost in her class. She doesn't use textbook at all, so you will have to read the entire textbook yourself. Oh, and the term paper is hard and very confusing as well.
wonderful teacher, clear and concise. really funny
She is probably one of the nicest professor you'll ever meet. She's passionate about what she teachers. P.S. her dog is adorable.
Interesting person, but terrible teacher. Never sure what to expect for weekly quizzes. Syllabus was changed just past midterms altering testing procedures. Four total tests were changed to two, with test three and four made optional to be taken on the day of the final. Not recommend if you're handling more than three classes.
Grade: 10%Term paper,40%quizzes,40%Final10%attendance and mini quizzes. She gives out study questions before each quiz. If you study those you should be fine.Good luck!
Bio/ Psych -- Great Professor! Really enjoys her career and fun -- Do the study guides and read the chapters before each test/ quizzes. Tests are hard but if you do the study guides questions for extra credit they will go a long way for final grade.
Incredibly interesting and knows her stuff. Class is easy to pass if you put in the effort. Tests are reasonable. She has some odd rules but they aren't crazy. Also her dogs are the cutest things.
Professor Hu is very sweet and funny! She gives you extra credit opportunities and knocks off two of the lowest quizzes for your final grade. However, this class is incredibly difficult, the material is very complex, and the tests are the hardest I've had. So definitely don't take this to fulfill your bio requirement thinking it's the easiest one!
Interesting lectures, but psychology is more work than I thought it would be. Professor gives review questions that are the topics on the test. But study the answers, make the note page that you can bring to the test, and do the extra credit if you want an A or B. Using common sense or guessing the answers does NOT work. Believe me.
She is tough but if you read the textbook and do the study questions for extra credit, you can pass with a B. You need self discipline to succeed in this class and come prepared to class. Every little bit helps towards your grade.
Dr. Hu is a great professor, although the class IS difficult. Clear on what she expects though it's more of a self-studyteach yourself class. The book is necessary and you have to put in effort to pass. If studying and late-night cramming before the test in your class is your thing like me - good luck because you will not pass. Expect pop-quizes
While she is a nice lady, a bit quirky, she is not a teacher I would take again. She is not that helpful, the material is hard and she doesn't explain much of it, mostly because she doesn't time manage well and she doesnt have time to cover all of the material, but it's still required. If you understand sciency stuff alone, its ok. drops lowest too
If you follow her instructions and actually do your work(not copy), you will receive an A. Test questions are always connected to the Test. Pay attention in class, read, and the class will be easy.
Dr. Hu is a pretty good teacher, however, YOU MUST SHOW UP TO CLASS ON TIME! She has mini quizzes at the beginning of class and other students correct it. Homework is all up to you, she gives out an extra credit SG! I registered for the class late and I wasn't put on her mailing list so I never got any of the handouts which was really annoying.
Dr Hu is AWESOME! She makes the class pretty interesting, you can see she knows her subject. She is super clear and organized, which makes our life easier, she sends handouts by email, review questions (which are pretty much the tests), and is pretty accessible. I can see she cares about students and learning! I will take her again in Fall psyc1B
The key to success in this class is you have to keep on trying. It is very fast paced but you will have many extra credit opportunities to boost your grade. Keep up with the reading, LISTEN during the lectures, as there are some vital things during class time which do fall into the quizzes. Be sure to ask questions and your A is assured.
Dr. Hu IS a gem! I had her for Psych1H and now Psych1B. If you plan to take one of her classes for an "easy A", please reconsider. If you plan to take one of her classes to learn and be challenged enough to transform your own behavior- good choice! She is perfect for one who is of a curious and active mind, as she is fascinating & brilliant! :
Timed free response mini quizzes thruout semester, 5Q 1 min each & big quizzes 30+ MC Qs which are treated like exams. Open book mini quizzes, front+back note sheet on exams. MUST READ the book+do the EC questions to do well on both mini and big quizzes. She has a soft voice, writes small&messily, erases quickly. Lectures not helpful, read on own.
How come no chili pepper?! Blasphemy! Dr. Hu is the best, bar none! And deserving of all chili peppers!!
AVOID !! Her 3 un. BioPsych class feels like a 5/6 un. class due to amount of workload you have to do outside of lec. Lecs are NOT substantial Offers extra credit but only 3% counts towards an A. So if you have a 87% overall you're good. On syllabus it says the final is 50% of your grade. You read that right. FIFTY PERCENT. Its also comprehensive.
Super hard !! She didn't manage Well our schedule .. we have 2 chapter to do by our own without lecture, her Lecture is hard , she does it super quickly then erase , so many informations given that you can't remember anything when you re out of her class .. you must read the book if so you are dead ! She demand a lot of work by your own time
Dr Hu is hilarious! She's funny and makes the class interesting. Her class is definitely hard but you will learn a lot! Dr. Hu brings in a ton of examples and will break it down for you if you don't understand. pay attention in her class, read the chapters over and over until you get it and print out & do the worksheets she email
Karin Hu is one of the funniest professors I've had- her lectures are full of anecdotes and jokes. At the same time the lectures are nothing but her talking and you listening. Almost every class begins with a mini quiz consisting of 3 questions from the previous lecture. Review questions given. Lots of workload. Textbook mandatory.
Funny, smart, clear about what to expect, a solid choice.
ALOT OF WORK the first thing she said when she walked in class the first day is this class is hella hard, she's right way tooo much work and i worked hard to find out i got a D?
Smart, funny, inspirational! At first, she claims this class is "hella hard". Not true. It's a regular 3-unit class with with an easy+short paper, 10% extra credit, cheat sheets allowed, and 2 exams dropped (out of 5). The final exam is worth 40% of the grade but nothing to be afraid of. It's straight forward and multiple choice only. Just study!
Prof Hu is great! class can be hard if you dont study and you dont pay attention in class. Shes very generous by giving a ton of extra credit and dropping 2 lowest exams out of 5. Shes funny, down to earth, and breaks down concepts. She likes to call on ppl that are on the back or next to wall so sit in front or middle if you dont like to talk
She's amazing in all aspects!
Had Dr Hu for Psychology 1 meeting once a week, her lectures are usually understandable with lots of everyday practical examples, hard to take notes but that usually doesn't affect testing. She gives you questions that work as a study guide for upcoming tests and exams and turning those in gives you extra credit. Very independent type of class.
Be Prepared to do a lot of studying/reading in her class. What the day looks like: Walk in ON TIME, Takes attendance, she lectures the whole time (You should have read What she is lecturing as homework), She might give little to do handouts in class. You get a study guide AND Cheatsheet for EACH Test. LOTS to study, but test is easy if you do it!
Dr. Hu is super engaging and excited about what she teaches. She gives out study guides as extra credit for each test and allows cheat sheets(even for the final). I took the 3 hr class but she gives you breaks and allows food in the classroom. Respeck!
Dr. Hu is a great teacher and is clearly knowledgable about the subject. The class isn't difficult -- you just need to read the textbook and work on the extra-credit study questions, take good notes, and be interested in the material. And out of 5 exams (she calls them "quizzes"), she drops two. The finals was very straightforward as well.
Just read the textbook and do the study guide and you're set for this class. She gives extra credit opportunities, drops two tests out of four, all tests including final (40% of grade) are multiple choice only. There's a term paper but still a pretty easy class. She does a great job in presenting the material during lectures.
It took a few sessions to get used to her lecture style, lots of jokes and side stories. but if you take good notes, she tells you all the answers for the review questions, which you can turn in for extra credit. Between doing the reading and answering the review questions, you'll be well prepare for the tests (quizzes). The final was tough.
She is so wonderful dont be scared off by her first day "this class is hella hard." The material is tough but her lectures are great and she is quirky and fun. It is tricky that 40% of grade is the final which is cumulative but is doable if you show up take notes and study. Loved this class wish I could take her for more classes.
She knows a lot about psychology so ask questions when needed and is very inspirational. She does make you work for your grade, and there are extra credit and pop quizzes (she lets you know ahead of time) and which help you understand the material and prepare you for the tests, and goes over the answers for the pop quiz.
drops 2 out of 5 tests, few mini quizzes(3 questions), very few class assignments, a term paper and cumulative final. She tries to cover as much as she can in class but you really have to study on your own and use the study guide she gives you. Overall, it took effort but I learned so much and really loved the class
SPRING 2019 GRADE DISTRIBUTION: A 34.1%, B 31.8%, C 22.7%, D 6.8%, F / FW 4.5%. 88 students took the course, and roughly 2/3 received a B or higher. I highly recommend this course! It is taught by one of the best and is by far the most interesting college course I've taken thus far. I would consider PSYC 1B with Dr. Hu an easy B, hard A.
Unique, quirky professor. Has a lot of experience and is full of interesting stories. She respects her class a lot for someone so accomplished. Find a couple people to get notes from and go over homework with - you do not want to miss class. Put time into your cheat sheets. I thought I was failing the whole class and came out with an A somehow.
Honors section doesnt offer extra credit, but regular section does. No homework, but mini quizzes are a regular occurrence. Review questions are given and are used to study for the tests, but you dont go over them in class so you wont know if your information is right or wrong. A lot of visuals during lecture, little descriptions.
Honestly, she makes you do all the work yourself. I dreaded coming to class because I would leave very unhappy. When grading mini-quizzes or tests she wants a very specific answer and won't allow any other answer. She teaches maybe 10% of what is on the test and expects you to teach 90% of it on your own at home. I don't recommend.
She is an absolutely amazing professor, you will not regret taking her. She has great presentation skills and every class has at least one interesting anecdote. On top of that, she is very friendly and approachable despite being accomplished in her field. Take her if you have the chance, even if you're not a psych major.
Class depends on ability to read textbook outside of class before lecture and it can be overwhelming because its complex material. Professor can be very passive aggressive and sometimes flat out rude. She doesnt use an online grading system also doesnt help if you ask your grade. More of a verbal teacher instead of a visual one. Dont recommend.
Do the study guides. If you got less than an A, especially in Honors, it's through your own lack of will. Study guides should be done with information from her lectures and textbook, not Google the night before a test. Missed class twice and she dropped two lowest test scores. You can't complain about this class. It's incredibly passable minimum A.
You only do three homework assignments: a comic-book, a paper on weed, and study guides you get to use on the test. Do your study guides right. She literally throws a free grade at you, take the A. Don't be lazy. If anyone complained about it being hard, they were probably also sweating about the play-doh project and you shouldn't listen to them.
I took a psychology course in H.S. so her summer class was easy. Focus on lengthy study guide packet, all the material is essential and tests are based off them(cheat sheet allowed). Lecture is easy to understand. She's nice but 1 star off since she makes students do a "walk of shame" if they forget to do something. Bring your own stapler!
dr Hu is great. thorough lectures + study guide truly prepares you for tests. makes the subject come to life. few assignments in the honors section one essay + a couple worksheets. you MUST do the work or you won't pass.
Fantastic prof -- she knows so much and weaves her knowledge and work experience in a very accessible and humorous way. If you are easily distracted (like me) it is hard to focus because she's too nice to tell students in the back and in the halls to be quiet. I took the honors section, so no extra credit, but it was worth the work, I learned alot!
Dr. Hu doesn't teach the material. Expect no lectures or guidance provided. Read the textbook and be prepared for weekly quizzes which she times 10 minutes for 10 questions. Terrible teacher for remote instruction setting. Her sense of humor suggests a rather self-centered character who doesn't care about her student's success.
Dr. Hu (Who) :) as she enjoys pointing out is a fantastic teacher with a passion for biological psychology. She engages what can seem like a "sciency" and dry subject and made it a personal passion of mine. Ask her about vision and flies!
Holistic from real life/living examples that clearly demonstrated the novel ideas of her text and class.
