Great lectures. Very informative. Challenging tests that require you to study and pay attention in class, but you can do well. The best psych class I had here.

Some of the criticisms on here are unfair. Prof Robinson is challenging, entertaining, and you walk away from the class with a lot more useful knowledge than you came in with. YOU ACTUALLY LEARN (the purpose of college, right?). I made an A and so did people around me. He treats you like a college student. It's not hard if you study. He is great.

Great Teacher. Lectures are fun intersting. He relates tough concepts to everyday life in a way everybody can understand.

Online class: weekly quizes, helpful powerpoints given, grades easy on assignments, 2 short essay exams with questions given ahead of time and first one is done open notes, open book. Fairly easy; you must read text to do well.

You have to be dead not to pass this class. The test questions are exactly like the review. He is a brilliant teacher, and the class is fun. You will benefit from his class.

Great Class!! I wasn't too sure about Mr. Robinson the first day of class, but he turned out to be great. He has a very good sense of humor and he is a little on the sarcastic side. He is very helpful and very knowledegable. I would highly recommend his class!!

I took him for intro to psych. He is definitely worth taking! I made a 98 in his class. It was pretty easy, but you do have to read the book but its not that bad. he makes class fun and we would even play games sometimes to get ready for tests! I really liked his class. I definitely would reccomend him to anyone who wants an A in psych!

I had him for an online class. If you take him online, you must realize that you'll be on "autopilot" unless you reach out to him. He was great at responding to questions, although he was a little slow at getting grades to our class (written assignments). Overall, a good guy...knows his stuff.

Took his class online, I suggest you to use a planner and write deadlines when quizzes/assignments/exams are due so you wont forget! Read the chapters. His exams are straight from the quizzes. Also a very nice teacher too!

This guy is incredible. I had to drop my pscych course at UT for a personal reason, and retake it a TCC Professor Robinson was SO much better...he knows everything. Not just psych stuff. Very funny and makes everything relate to you. If you really want to learn about Psychology, take him!

I took his class online and I loved it. He was wanting to help out a lot. There are lots of assignments but you can use your text book everything is done online and it is a very interesting class.

Online course is straight forward. There are weekly quizes, powerpoint & lesson. Just keep up & it's easy. Everything is directly from book. Not much interaction with professor,though. But he does have these powerpoint lessons that are helpful.

(I took his lecture class, not the online one)This is my kind of teacher. Simple... Read the book, listen to the lecture, take his test. No essays, No notebooks, No micromanagement, No homework. It's not easy, come on... it's Psychology. But this guys class is straight forward, no b.s.

I took Mr. Robinson online. Interesting, but difficult course for me. I took it under account that summer courses are approximately an hour and a half long. Plus at least 2 more hours studying on your own each day. All in all, I studied about 5 hours daily in order to make an A. Virtual Child was interesting.

this guy has one of the best online classes at TCC...great powerpoints. It is work, but it is closest I have seen to the time you put into a lecture class.. If you talk to him you know he really wants you to learn. People should stop complaining and actually realize you come out of this class with more than you do in other online classes.

Professor Robinson is a very good professor. I liked the fact that he did not treat his students as if they were still in high school. He expects everyone to study to do well in the class. If you don't study, you don't do well, which is how it should be, in my opinion. Providing that you do study the material, easy A.

Took dev. Psych this semester and as long as you read the chapters, the quizes arent too bad, but you HAVE to read...comes straight from the book. Final and midterm are straight from the quizes. Doesnt give alot of time to complet quizes...for the final you get 60 min for 80-100 questions. Easy class if you put some effort into it.

Professor Robinson was the best! I came out with a 88.7 and he gave me another point to raise it to a 89.7 so that I made an A. BTW, my grade was that low, because I missed an assignment. Class is easy, and he was helpful. Always replied to my emails. And, he was cute on the wimba camera. :-)

Super easy class, gave a lot of assingments in the begining but after about a month into it he only gave one quiz a week. Sometimes you have to read two chapters in a week and do two quizzes but they're not due on the same day. If you read the chapters you will do well on the quizzes. The test are all straight from the quizzes

He's a good teacher. As long as you study from the book and do what he tells you then you should do fine. He does talk very loud and may give you a headache but overall he is a good teacher.

This guy is very funny. He is able to make his courses entertaining, thus giving you a much better chance of learning the material.

Don't get discouraged - he starts the semester with a ton of assignments and videos, but after a few weeks he drops all of it and just requires weekly quizzes straight from the chapter. Mid-term and final exams are straight from the weekly quizzes. Nice guy and responds to emails.

Loved this class! He is funny and keeps his lectures entertaining. You must study for exams and do online hw and you will earn an "A".

Very nice teacher. The majority of the time you will have one chapter to read/one quiz per week. Two exams. both exams are over all the quiz questions. I took him online. Not a super easy A, his quiz questions can be detailed. Read the chapters and look at his online lessons and you will be fine :)

HARD CLASS! took intro to psych. Great teacher, but only had 3 tests and a final. half the test was straight from the book and wasnt covered in class. Not an easy A. but lecture was fun and interesting every class period.

I'd heard his classes weren't easy, but he's a great professor and always fair. Take one...you won't be disappointed.

His classes are entertaining. The manner in which he delivers them guarantees that you will not fall asleep in his class. He is a traditional teacher. Anyone who whines that he is hard, let me say, "Welcome to college." He is not a hand holder, but he is willing to explain anything so you can understand. His tests come mostly from the lectures

If you class attendance is a must. Lecture material was on the test but, you must read all material to make a good grade. I made an A, but not with a lot of work. He is good at making sense of info he is covering and answering questions. I enjoyed this class and would recommend it to anyone who studies hard. Not for slackers!

Excellent, entertaining instructor. May seem aloof, but if you have a Q, go see him--be proactive. Passive participation will earn no more than a passive grade. Active interest will be rewarded.

This was an online class. The only negative I have is that there were numerous post/pre tests over the same information before you did the actual quiz. There is also a virtual life child that you have to create in addition to the readings & multiple quizzes. Overall I would recommend him if you don't want a teacher that requires a lot of essays.

Interesting professor but can be a little dull sometimes, he likes class participation. Great lectures and plenty of powerpoint notes. Class attendance and reading the book is really essential to earning a grade as much of the test material is over lecture notes and book material not discussed in class. Do the online pre/post tests for extra points

I like to walk away from a class feeling that I learned something. This was definitely the case with Mr. Robinson's Psych class. It is impossible to pass without the book because quizzes and tests come straight from the textbook. Highly recommend him for online classes as well.

I took this class online when it was required for nursing students. He drops two quiz grades, two exams total. Basically EVERY single answer for every quiz can be found online (except lesson 12). Assignments are due Mondays @ 11. Easy A.

I took the class online, although online classes do require a little bit more work, this was just A LOT of work. Every week there is a pre-test, post-test, lesson and quiz, plus a couple discussion boards throughout the semester. You can't really get ahead either. Most of the quiz answers are found online, just super time consuming. Easy A though.

You have to attend his class to pass. He does a powerpoint lecture and tells stories to help you understand. YOU MUST READ THE BOOK in order to pass the chapter quizzes! it's not an "easy" A but as he says " that sign out there says COLLEGE" . the test covers his notes and the book, put some effort in and you can pass with an A. He's also funny!

He only has two test. His numerous amount of quizzes is what will bring your grade down. He has about 3-4 quizzes per chapter, but they are all test questions as well. Don't need the book if you're taking the online class.

2 Exams uses the same questions from quizzes, Quizzes every week you can find on Quizlet but they are timed, Must read the chapters before the Quizzes, He doesn't ask for much their are pre quizzes, post tests you can take as many times as you want. The final quiz is timed can only take once. Answers emails quick. Love hime would take him again :)

Mr. Robinson is awesome! I would definitely take him again. Just online quizzes that you can take an unlimited number of times, and 4 exams.

Mr. Robinson is an amazing teacher! His lectures are so fun and cool. There was a never a dull moment in his class. The online quizzes help so much, they only help you! Some of the questions are on the tests too. Take good notes! Notes are very important. I would highly recommend him! Would take him again if I could.

FAVORITE PROF EVER! He made me reconsider my major bc he made the class so fun and interesting! Only took bc required, but absolutely LOVED it! 3 exams and final. Optional quizzes every week. Took this class online over the spring. He isn't very clear on grading and doesn't give you enough time for quizzes. 18 minutes for a 25 question quiz isn't long enough. You need the text and have to study. Didn't exactly follow the syllabus when it came to final grades. No extra credit available.

Be there ahead of time. He takes attendance right away and doesn't go back.. You'll be absent if you arrive right on time and your name starts with a letter from the first half of the alphabet.

Professor Robinson is a good teacher he's very funny and I enjoyed his class the only thing I didn't like were the chapter quizzes every week because he has a 25 minute timer on them but if you look hard you can find them on quizlet but I love him he's a great teacher.

Was a really good teacher. All you have to do is take open note online quizzes, go to the lectures, and take the exams. Exams are a combination of both lectures and the text book so make sure you study and pay close attention to the lectures. Will take this class again for sure!

Professor Robinson is by far my favorite professor. I'm a Psychology major and just completely LOVED his class. I'm definitely not a morning person but had his class at 10 AM twice a week and I was always eager to get up and go to his class. He has a hilarious sense of humor and I will totally be taking his class again just for the hell of it.

Once you get used to things, its a pretty easy class. He told us right from the start that we were fitting sixteen weeks into a five week course and expect to spend a few hours a day like we would in a regular class. Exams are from all the pre/post tests in the lessons so it's easy to get a good grade. Lessons are funny.

I love this man. He's hilarious and the way he teaches the material helps you learn. Robinson includes the class and tells hilarious stories so you can remember things better.

Mr. Robinson was a lot of fun and he was really funny! I really enjoyed psych, he does have online quizzes which can be a pain, but they're really not too bad. Show up, take notes, and stay off your phone and you're gold! He likes participation, but it isn't always required. Tests aren't hard, the final wasn't comprehensive thank goodness!

Class consists of a midterm and final, and 16 lessons that include a pre-test, post-test, quiz, 1-4 lecture powerpoints, and 0-2 assignments. Everything is easy to find online, but the tests are taken through ProctorU, so for those you HAVE TO study. They are long exams that include questions from the pre- and post-tests. Weekly deadlines.

I really enjoyed his class he made it very entertaining and wanted us to be able to retain the information. His exams were not difficult to me, as long as you study and do the online material you should have no issues.

If you do not attend class, you won't pass. Taking notes during lectures are most important for exams. He is funny and very educated. He explains his criteria on the first day and sticks by it.

This class was a bit tough for a full time student he gave 1hr 30min- 2hr reading homework assignments with quizzes right after and they were loaded with so much information that it was hard to remember it all

Mr. Robinson is my favorite professor I've had so far. He really knows what he's talking about and is very passionate in his lectures. You'll need the textbook for online quizzes and it's also good to read before exams. The exams are pretty difficult, but if you study they're not so bad. Be on time because he calls roll right when class starts.

Professor Robinson makes expectations clear from the beginning of the course. He has amazing lectures. He makes psychology terms and concepts relevant to everyday life.

Prof Robinson was very respectable and knew what he was talking about. He had interesting and interactive lectures that made you want to pay attention, even if you don't like psychology. Would definitely take another one of his classes. You have to show up and read the textbook if you want to be successful, though. Overall, good class.

Took his online class for a Maymester. Very structured and he was very quick to respond to emails. He had a calendar with all the due dates. He told us from the beginning we would need to cover an entire semester into a few days. It was work but worth it to get the class done!

Pleaseee take his class if you're needing psychology. He's really funny and the exams are very easy, come straight from your notes and lectures. Barely had any assignments and you only need an 80 on the chapter questions for credit. I would definitely take this class again for sure.

This class was fairly easy. There are a few writing assignments, but those don't take very long to complete. A lot of reading, and quizzes, but those are also easy if you read the chapters. Exam questions come directly from revel, so it is impossible to fail. You won't regret taking this professor.

Professor Robinson is funny. He asks for NO phones, laptops, or any other devices out during his lectures. He will cover 2-3 chapters in 2 weeks then test. he provides no review sheet. You must create your own or study your own way. He gives one or two quizzes every week through canvas, you must make 80 and up on his quizzes.

If you're a psych major, this is a professor you'll want. His lectures are great, & very interactive. He's a stickler for rules, but if you do what you're supposed to this won't be a problem at all. Both class lectures & text reading are NECESSARY for the tests. However, it's very interesting material, and Professor Robinson makes it easy to learn.

Mr. Robinson was one of the funniest professors I've had, his dry humor allows you to really enjoy psychology! The notes you write will be the majority of what will reflect on his exams! His exams were not too bad if you study! He also does give HW assignments online to help boost your grades. I would definitely take him again.

He is very dedicated to what he teaches. he has a no electronic policy; even tablets to take notes. but it really did benefit me to take nots the way he tells you too, hence why I passed all his tests and understand phycology

Might come off as rude due to no electronics and his personality, but Robinson is a good professor. Lectures are interactive and he answers questions in a simple way. If you participate in class, he'll match your energy. Some specific topics in the textbook don't show up in lectures but are on the test and quizzes.

Professor Robinson has a unique teaching style that takes some adjusting, but his lectures are engaging and he knows the material well. Attending class and reading the textbook are key to doing well. Unstuck study was a lifesaver for quiz prep!

Many students in my online class complained about him however as long as you complete the assignments, it isn't hard to pass. Some students forget that with online classes you are responsible for the lecture PLUS the hours spent at home studying the material. He lets you know what he expects in papers.

Cant really speak for others but personally after taking his class I realized I really do love psychology which is something I didn't expect. He has lectures packed with information yet he still pauses to give time to write. He engages very well with the class and the 90$ text book isn't too important, I got an A without it. There are 8 easy tests.
