If you are interested in the subject and want to learn it by putting in the time to read the chapters, great teacher. Cares about students,teaches in a fun, humorious way. He loves discussions and class pertic. Highly recoment if u r not lazy.

Very intuitive teacher, doesn't teach from the book, but from his own experience. Very laid back, and makes it fun to learn!! If you get the opportunity to take him DO IT!!

Ok so he is a bit on the strange side (and he does look like a human q-tip) but he made the class fun and interesting and you can't help but laugh when he is doing yoga positions when you are tryng to take one of his tests. But he makes his lectures clear

yeah, i guess he is a little odd... but, compared to many other instructors, he kicks ass. (knowing, he could probably do that literally :) but, seriously, i recommend taking him as an instructor for this subject. but, only take him if your either flexible ( with instructors going on / off topic) , remotely enjoy martial arts, and are willing to listen to basic and extensive logic. Karl's a great guys to meet!

Karl is a fine human being comfortable with who he is and trying new things. He realtes information in a reaxing and cohesive manner. He makesw psych a living experience.

I loved him so much! He is funny and little crazy. His lecture is off the text book. When I took test he always did Tai Chi! Got little distracted. He is interested in other culture. If you study, you should be able to get good gread in this class.

Karl is a fun guy. He is easily side tracked is a bit misleading when it comes to addictions, but I hope to have him in the future because of his personality and likability. Thank you for changing my schema.

Dr. Andreasson fills his classroom with a strong interest to learn about psychology as a science and philosophy. He questions his students and makes us feel part of the learning process.

I took Karl twice online (101 and 201) and enjoyed it very much. His online class is sooo easy, you barely have to do anything, maybe read a few chapters a week and take a multipul choice test on it, but its not hard at all. He grades fairly and is very pleasant. I would suggest taking him for anyone interested in psychology.

Overall a great professor highly recommended! Not much work, and the work that was assigned was very useful.

I took Karl's telecourse and went to all three sessions. He is quite funny at times, but misguided us a bit on the test taking. Gave extra points to make up for it, though. He basically gives you the study material for each test, so watching the videos is almost a waste for the grade. Watch them for your own personal interest.

I took an online class with him. His quizes are based off of the reading and mini-lectures. Study, and you will be ok. Some quizes covered things not in the text/notes. But if you email him asking for help on problems you missied that weren't covered, he'll give you credit.

Great professor! Treat students as people.For example gave not timed quiz for Valentine's day. Wrote special letter to students on Mother's day. Quizzes are not hard, although you need to read the text and his notes. I took Psych 100 and 200, would take more if needed, but unfortunately do not need! Highly recommended!

Online class. I forgot to mention that he answers to e-mails very quickly, give a special assignment week, which mean just prepare for the final, no new assignments. Discussions is easy, read and write. Textbooks are very understandable.

Great Teacher! There was a couple of problems with the quizzes but he fixed them right away! Interesting class!

Hybrid class: Took Karl over summer. Great instructor. Very pleasent and knowledgable. Wants you to understand and succeed. Highly recommend him for all Psy classes.

This was an on-line class. Very interesting. Karl is very quick to answer emails & very helpful. Course is outlined clearly. Blessed to have him as my instructor. :)

It was an online class, and super easy. Read a chapter, take a quiz, you could pretty much do it all the day before everything was due each week. I don't really feel like I retained anything from the class though. The teacher was helpful if you had a question, but sometimes his expectations were not always clear.

Well organized lectures online and is always available to answer questions and meet with me on campus when I asked.

This teacher is great he is reasonable and understanding.

Karl is a laid back guy who does a lot to help students get the best grade possible. The publisher and school store had a conflict and our books were a month late so he gave us the answers to the first two tests. Use your book A LOT and make sure to read the practice tests because he pulls from those for tests. Pay attention in class!

Online: This teacher is the best. He is a laid back, reasonable and understanding. Not your typical "I don't care that you have life outside of my class" Be prepared to read the book, use the practice tests at the end of each chapter in the book and you will get an 85% in this class because 85% of the questions on the test are these answers.

The best teacher ever in SFCC and extreme helpful. Will recommend people to take his online classes.

Dr. Andreasson is a very inspiring instructor; he is open, professional, and friendly with his students which creates a very positive learning environment in the classroom. He invites open questions and stimulates discussions around each topic. He is also into health psychology which helped me change my life a bit.

Very structured, and provided great examples for each stage of development as well as applications for parenting styles. He is very passionate about his teaching and gives out great energy to the entire class.

Mr. Andreasson was really into his topics in psychology and went to extra effort to help students. He made the class very interesting and at times, told stories related to life and psychology. He does have rather liberal political views for my taste. Otherwise, excellent.

Week 4 of classes. It's a hybrid class, so we only meet 2 days a week. When he's actually there, we don't learn a whole lot. I'd love to just sit and hear a lecture, but it's all reading the book if you want to learn anything. He seems like a great and intelligent prof, but I'd love to actually be learning from him.

His online Psych 100 was extremely easy. No teaching just reading. A test on every chapter which was 1 a week, and every 2 weeks a 250 word essay about something you read. He opens the quizzes at the end of each week and you have the whole quarter to do them.

He is by far the easiest teacher I have had. He is super nice and friendly. My class was hybrid and the quizzes were all relevant to the book. His lectures can be really boring but it's worth it!

He is awesome!! His materials are so clear about what he wants from his students and really appreciates a good well written paper :) If I were you. I'd TAKE HIM!!

Dr. Andreasson is very clear and is an excellent lecturer over the course materials. His 8 or more quizzes and final exam are fair and based on both his lectures and textbook. He gives funny examples and uses humor too.

Counseling and treatment class with Dr.Andreasson Spring 2014 - highly recommend his energy and student centered approach. He rocks and knows his stuff!

Made course very interesting and great sense of humor in teaching - shows he likes his job.

He is fun. Teaches in fun manner, but often is hard to understand and follow. Does not stick to criteria. Does give you answers to quizzes in class as presents. Easy A. Use open book while taking quizzes, take your time.

Prof. Andreasson is a smart guy and the class is very straight-forward. Prof. Andreasson is a co-author of the textbook. Assignments have specific due dates, but quizzes are open until the end of the quarter. Each quiz allows at least one retake, the best score is kept. I never had to contact Prof. Andreasson, but he sent announcements regularly.

I dreaded taking psych. Had him for PSYCH100 and 200, and loved it. Take time on quizzes-open book, read material. Easy 4.0! Loved that he graded papers on your thoughts instead of correct writing. Interesting teacher, more true psych than textbook. Wrote a letter of recommendation for me for my custody battle, so sweet, got me into his full class.

Excellent overview of Lifespan and clear explanations and examples as they apply to real life situations.

I took him for psych100 and 200 and he was pretty unorganized as far as making sure due dates were up to date on Canvas. His grading guidelines are very straightforward and what is expected of you (not a lot) is clearly defined. He is very nice, and is wiling to answer any and all questions. He gives good feedback on papers as well.

Take Andreasson for psych, all of my friends complained about their psychology teachers, but I never had any trouble with mine. Easy class and easy grader, and very interesting study topics. Loved his class!!

Extremely nice and understanding person and very entertaining during class. I didn't learn anything about psychology though. All his tests are online and are unoriginal. All the answers are on Quizlet. I wasn't the best student, but I still got 100% in the class. How much you learn is all up to you in his class. You can pass either way.

At first I thought "he wrote his own textbook, great, 100 down the drain". Actually, it was a really fun book to read. He put his personality into the text in so many places to keep the reader involved and made this the most enjoyable intro class I've had so far.

Karl wants his students to succeed!

Easiest class I've taken at the Falls. There's a test for each chapter, and four summaries (just a few paragraphs each), but that's it the entire quarter. All assignments and tests are online through Canvas. I attended class the first 2-3 weeks and never went again (because his lectures are what we already read in the textbook) and passed with a A-

Karl is awesome and the class was sooooo easy. There's only 10 tests with no due dates besides the end of the quarter and two assignments 250+ words on something you've read and months in advance to get it done! Plus he gives you two "special" tests with the answers! If you at least try it's impossible to fail this class.

Karl is an amazing professor. He makes it extremely difficult to fail, and he is the most caring professor I have ever worked with which made it all the more pleasure to do well on my work and come to class every day. I have a lot of espect for him, I took him for Lifespan Psych as well, and it was the exact same experience. Sign up, spots go fast!

The class wasn't difficult at all, and, as others have said, you might not remember anything if you're just there for the grade. However, if you pay attention, then you'll learn an interesting view on many aspects of life. Karl likes to integrate many aspects of life into his lectures, so you'll connect better with the subject. A must take!

Not a hard course to take at all, just read the material he assigns from the textbook and its easy to pass the quizzes. The few writing assignments he assigns aren't difficult either and he responds quickly to e-mails as well.

I took him for general psychology and lifespan. He's incredible in person, absoutly hilarious. You get as much as you give for his online classes. Beautiful personality.

The course that I took was PSYC333, but it wasn't listed. He wanted us to read two books and write a report. He provided lots of interesting information on Canvas, but other than that this was a very easy class.

One of the best professors Ive taken at SFCC. He is very clear on what he expects of you and each assignment is fairly easy. Even if you dont succeed the first time around on a quiz, he gives you two chances to pass.

Karl is awesome! I am so happy that I took him, highly recommend him.

Karl-Erik is awesome! This class was easy but I learned a lot because he made it so fun and entertaining. By far best Professor I have had at SFCC!

Karl-erik Andreasson is my all time favorite professor and made psychology enjoyable to learn about. I took his online class, some may say you learn nothing but as long as you actually read the textbook you learn a huge amount, doesn't really teach a lot himself though. Due dates don't really matter, as long as you turn it in by the end it's fine.

My only complaint is that his course uses a book HE wrote, yet he expects us to pay $150 for it. He gave us the first 2 chapters in a PDF so that we would have time to buy it, so clearly he COULD give it to us for free/cheap but wants us to pay a lot. Luckily I got a second hand book for $50. Great professor though. Good (long) book, easy class.

This class was one of the easiest I've ever taken, but I still learned a ton! The tests were easy as long as you did a bit of studying and there were only three assignments, which were all fairly easy to complete with minimal research. Plus, this professor is so caring and wants his students to do well!

Although this professor didnt give lectures, he did write a textbook. Understanding this, if you are willing to read the material you can easily pass this class. He is understanding of the stress students face and gives you every opportunity to excel. would definitely recommend him and would take his class again.

Prof Andreasson is a bit hands off for an online course but he still finds time to be encouraging and address concerns when needed. 1 paper due every 4 or so weeks (not difficult) within the quarter and all quizzes due by the end of the quarter. Recommend staying on task and not waiting till the last minute.

Dr. Andreasson is such a sweet guy! His way of teaching is very chill--don't expect any PowerPoints for notes, though. Most of the units can be found on Quizlets, which is helpful since I don't really have any great notes from class. He is super sweet and you can see that he cares for his students--not a lot of homework and you can do most online!
