Prof. L is a cool teacher and very animated when he teaches which makes learning in his class fun. He draws the illustrations of what he's talking about and since I learn pretty well with this style of teaching, it works for me. He's very informative and funny. He's willing to do what he can so the class to understandswhat he is teaching.

Karl Liljedahl is a brilliant, charismatic, and sexy instructor. What he brings to a classroom with his humor and effortless witt is unique. He's very relatable and animated in his lectures and keeps you engaged by his passion and enthusiasm for the material. He uses a lot of common analogies in relation to the material to make it easier. Professor Liljedahl should moonlight as a stand-up comic. He's very sensitive to students' with extenuating circumstances. If you fail his class, you did absolutely nothing the entire semester!

Prof Lilijedahl is a GREAT instructor. I'm a Bio grad from Temple University and Prof Lilijedahl puts them all to shame. He actually TEACHES the material, unlike the profs at TU that just give the pages to read and expect you to teach yourself. Overall, Prof Lilijedahl gets a A+++++++++++ review. Take him if you can...it's a MUST!!

Karl Liljedahl is the greatest professor i have ever had!!!! I didn't know if i could pass a Bio class but he is making it possible. He brings his sense of humor and charm to his lectures. He gives everyday examples. His test consists of multiple choce and a knowledge probe. Hes also very charisma and sexy. I would def take him again!

Fantastic Professor!! This was my 3rd time taking this class and I wish I had him 1st. He really knows this subject and makes sure you have what you need to do well. Study sheets for lab which was a blessing for me. I Love this Professor and was praying he taught 110 this semester. Unfortunately not.

Fair, weird, funny, interesting & sexy...for Biology professor. Suggestions; FOCUS ON STUDYING & MEMORIZING HIS OUTLINE, you may do better on HIS lecture test. Also, come to every class & lab. For the 109 lab exams, take good notes on all labs (especially that 1st sugar lab; a significant part of exam). Study those cell slide often.

First of all he's hotter than Richard Gere! Second,this may be the best class you ever take! So great I thought of switching my major to biology (seriously.) Just attend every class, PAY ATTENTION, read the book..it is school,after all. You will learn so much and have so much fun, I guaranteed!! An Awesome Professor and great guy!!!

Very interesting. Gives a great outline. alot to study but makes class interesting and keeps the information simple. Took him in the summer and received an A. What he went over in class and what was in the notes is whats on the test. Dress appropriate for Lab or points will be taken from you grade. Very professional and helpful.

What a refreshing professor! If you want someone who can bring anatomy & physiology to life then take him! It was a pleasure and I've learned so much from the class lectures & lab. Very straight forward and don't believe when you read that he isn't always available outside of class because that's definetly not true..emails quick and cares.

Great professor overall. Do not eat drink or chew gum in lab!!! He's extremely clear in relating material so that you understand the termanology. He is constantly adding jokes and scenarios to keep up interest. Everything he covers in the classroom will be on the test and he constanly recites important information... He is awesome!

He actually makes this class interesting for me. His jokes may be a little bad, but they definitely make the class more enjoyable. He teaches in a very clear, easy to remember manner and I find myself more interested in biology than I was prior to taking this class.

His voice is great. Tests on what he teaches. Apparently, I didn't remember a lot after I finished his class but that's because it was in the summer (1.5 months or so). Wish I took him during a longer semester. But he's easy if you ACTUALLY study. if you wont study, dont bother going to college.

Great teacher. He hands out a lecture book & lectures straight from that book. Test are only on what he goes over in class. If you study, you'll be fine.

He is a great teacher but your grade will be based on test. He does not give extra credit or homework so if you are not a good test taker this is not the class for you. Be prepared to study!!

Don't waste your money on the text book. You won't really use it. If you can find a recent version on abe books. His class is great and an easy A. If you show up and pay attention you can do really well in the class.

He's such a great teacher, so freaking funny and he keeps things interesting. Make sure you study a lot though because his tests are pretty hard and he don't give extra credits. He's also frank about what's going in the exams so pay attention and write tons of notes! Didn't do as well but its because i didn't work as hard. But he's awesome!

He is by far my favorite teacher! Not only is he hilarious but he does his best to make the information stick in your head. He outlines the entire textbook and goes over everything he's putting on the test. If I could, I'd take him over and over again.

He is hilarious! Great lectures. Always keeps you interested, even though he uses every second of that 2 hour long class! The only complaint would be that he gives no homework or assignments, just 7 exams. Might be good for some, but it's very easy to have your grade slip from one bad exam. But it's college, you'll adjust. Highly recommend.

Liljedahl was one of the best profs I've ever had. He is the ONLY one you want for 109. It's such a shame he doesn't regularly teach 110, bc I would have taken him again in a heartbeat. Prof. Liljedahl is very knowledgable and hilarious! He provided us with outline notes of his lectures. He reviewed before exams what topics he expect us to know. Exams consist of multiple choice only; however, there were about 75-90 questions each exam. There was lab midterm & lab final; no extra worksheets. Study and an A is very attainable!

I took Prof Liljedahl for Summer 12015. Very good teacher I must say he is very, very big on the chemistry side of AP throughout the entire class. I passed I now know more from him than when I took it by another teacher. He don't give extra credit at all so pass all test with a B and up from the start and you will get a good grade.

Professor Liljedahl is a great professor, I have taken two classes with him and passed with A. As long as you pay attention to his lecture and follow the notes he provides you do great. His test are all multiple choice and the final comes straight from the test.

Prof. Liljedahl is great. He is a great lecturer and really wants you to succeed. He curves exams heavily. He provides a guide with everything you need to know and whatever is in the guide is far game for the exams. 4 lecture exams, 2 lab exams, 1 final. In the end, you have to take the time to study the material. Definitely take him if you can!

Professor Karl is really funny with his lecture, I enjoy his class and he is always on time. Tests you get back really quick, sometime he will mimic stuffs to give us best description about the human body. I would definitely take this professor again. He made Anatomy really easy not too hard. As long as you read his pre notes, and lecture notes.

He was amazing! I learned so much in his class! He is hilarious too! Don't believe when people say - "His tests are hard" Not true at all, plus he forms them from his study guide. Like come on, who does that ? To be honest, if you didn't study - you shouldn't expect a good grade ... Study like you mean it and do it on the regular basics!

Bar none the best professor I have ever had. He knows his stuff and is extremely knowledgeable. His tests are not hard, but you must study. All of his test questions are based on his power point slides. I never once read the textbook or used the lab manual. He generously curves and that is an understatement. Take him!

He is a fair professor

Karl is an enthusiastic and efficient professor. I have learned so much through his courses, but this does by no means make it an easy A. You have to really study for it. If you just sit in class and listen, you aren't doing your share, and the exams will wreck you. He does curve generously though. Take him if you actually want to learn.

I was pretty nervous to take Biology, but thank god for Professor Liljedahl. He made lectures interesting and enjoyable. I would recommend everyone to take him. There was a lot of information covered in this course, but as long as you study you will be fine!

Liljedahl is the best. As he said in the very beginning of the semester : "You think you'll get an easy A in this class? Well guess not, you have to learn people". I was scared when I took him in the beginning of the semester because there are only 4 exams and a final but wohaa I actually learned something from him class and passed with success!!

Prof L is an amazing Biology teacher. Very clear and understandable. His labs need to be written in detail, but just follow the directions and you'll pass. The best thing about this teacher is that he gives you a notebook before the course starts with all of the topics he teaches so you don't need to buy a textbook. 4 exams, a final and no midterm.

This man is hilarious if you like sarcastic, dry humor. He provides you with a booklet of notes that you can add additional notes to. Don't miss class because he adds info that will be on the exam but aren't in the booklet. He is very straight forward and doesn't mess around. Doesn't play tricks. Know your stuff and you will pass. Prof Liljedahl is by far one of the best in the bio department at CCP. Anyone who says anything short of it is just blaming the man for their own lack of paying attention or working hard. He's great. He keeps the class interesting and he loves his job. The class is tough, definitely not an easy A. There are 4 Exams, Lab and Lecture midterm and final and a departmental final. There is no extra credit. Read the textbook. STUDY, STUDY, STUDY!

Such a fun professor, really makes the material interesting and his passion for the subject is obvious. Your whole grade is the tests, but they are pretty straightforward. My only complaint is that he doesn't shut down off topic questions, which led to us not getting through all of the material.
