I really enjoyed this class and sad that its ending. Mr. Zoller made it very interesting and enjoyable. He makes sure you understand his lectures before he moves on to the next topic. Hes so nice and respectful. He also gives you extra credit opportunities. I would definitely take another class with him. Take him, you wont regret it!

Professor Zoller is one of the lucky few professors that I take time to write an amazing review. He's humors, understanding, and makes sure that no material is misunderstood before his examinations. lots of extra credit opportunites are given. his lectures bring some interesting conversation among students. overall a GREAT professor!

His lectures and homework are easy and straight forward. The midterm and final were open notes. And I would recommend this class for anyone in the GE requirement.

This teacher is amazing. He's very laid back and knows his class is part of general ed. He lets you use notes on both tests the midterm and final and you have homework that's really easy to do. If you do the work and take the test with notes you can get an easy A. I suck at history and I got a really good grade in this class take him.

By far my favorite professor at CRC. Hes super lenient with late accepting late work. His tests are open notes and he has very few quizzes, if you miss anything he still gives you partial credit for it. Theres only 2 tests the midterm and final and he gives you the answers on review days. Super easy class and he offers plenty extra credit

He genuinely cares for his students, gives tons of extra credit opportunities. Gives one mid term and one final which are open notes. He posted all of the required material to read on Canvas with the exception of one novel that we buy that's not costly and gave quizzes every now and then which are not open note. Not a tough grader.

professor zoller has got to be the chillest professor i've taken so far!! never makes a student feel dumb for having an opinion. gives many opportunities to make up work +for extra credit. slides are posted online but there are in class quizzes about some readings throughout the semester. reviews the day before the exams! 1 midterm and 1 final.

Show up to class, take good notes. You have to buy 2 books, theres 2 essays, a-lot of mini journals ( all of this isnt hard), theres pop quizzes on the 2 books. final & midterm are open notes. He gives you a good study guide & gives you the answers in class to it. Lots of extra credit. Its very easy to get an A in this class. Hes a great teacher.

there's about at least 3-4 assignments due for each "meeting" day which was m/w for me. it consists of discussions and reading/movie questions and for the most part, they're very easy but also very time-consuming. i would say a lot of work is involved but it's not technically difficult to grasp the concepts that he is teaching. you learn a lot tho

Professor Zoller is a GEM. Hes soooo kind and caring. My attendance in his class was terrible, but he still treated me with kindness. Once when we were in the library, late students didnt have anywhere to sit because of the shortage of seats. He sat on the ground so other students could sit on a chair. 10/10 recommend him. Take him if you can, one of the easiest classes I've taken by far. As long as you show up and complete the work you will get credit. I have had an A+ the entire semester simply by doing the work. We only needed to buy two books for reading which were very inexpensive about 12 dollars. Reviews exact questions that will be on final, open note!

I took his class online and it was a lot of work. It was an easy class but a lot of work. We didn't need a textbook but we did need to get The Namesake and the play Fences. We had around 2-3 weekly discussion boards which we had to respond to and then respond to two classmates post. We had a lot of articles and essays to read and videos to watch.

We had discussions every week, but they were group discussions. The quizzes were extremely easy and all of the answers would be talked about in class. There is absolutely no way to fail this class unless you don't show up or put in effort.

This professor is my absolute favorite, he always made class fun and he genuinely wants to help every student to be successful in his class. Quizzes and tests were really easy, and most discussions were group based. I would definitely sign up for this professor's classes again!!

Very nice and understanding professor. He really wants you to pass his class, he's very passionate about what he teaches and it makes every lecture engaging. If you don't go to class, it's quite easy to fall behind. You have to be familiar with canvas because most assignments are on there. He's very accessible over email.

He's an amazing professor! His class is fun and interesting. On Halloween, Professor Zoller even passed out candy. The tests aren't difficult. The homework isn't tasking. The lecture slides are all online for your use as well.

Took his online Humm332 this pass Spring 2020 semester. Lots of work but its very simple and easy, just make sure you keep up and you'll get full points. My favorite prof by far. Hw due every tues & thurs and sometimes it was 1-2 hour long videos. He kept the class interesting & exciting. You have to buy 2 movies. He's lenient on grading and very understanding. He really wants his students to pass. Im a lazy student and I really enjoyed his class. Please take him you won't regret it

Professor Zoller made the class so easy after the pandemic. He accepts late work, is flexible with people not showing up to class, overall very nice. He works on his lectures and tries his best to get his point across. He often feels like he doesn't but we reassured him even though he does not require participation.

American Humanities is an exceptionally special class, that I recommend everyone should take! Professor Zollers class was such a great experience! There were no zoom lectures and he does not take points off for late work. He is super accessible and easy to work with. He wants you to be successful and help you in any way he can. There werent many assignments and they were all fairly easy and straightforward.

Professor Zoller is one of the best professors I have ever had. We went remote this entire fall semester and he made the class so easy to navigate online. He gives good feedback. However, I will say that his quizzes are a bit challenging. Other than that he is very laid-back and understanding professor.

He's one of the best Humanities professors ever at CRC! I took this class this semester to learn about multiple topics such as music, food, etc. He cooperated really well with online classes, seemed really interested with this subject. The only things we did were discussions and quizzes. I enjoyed talking to him in the Zoom meetings, he's amazing!

Prof. Zoller was an incredible teacher. With classes being online, everything became a lot harder to stay on top of. He was extremely understanding when it came to late or missing assignments. He is very kind and respectful, and when you talk to him you will feel comfortable. His class is the top class in humanities and he is the the number one professor in his field and career. Professor Zoller is such an incredible professor. I had some problems with the discussions because the discussions contained things which were not in my culture, so I went and I asked him for help. Professor Zoller helped me in such a great way that he assigned me alternative assignments, which helped me a lot. He is such an awesome professor ever!

TAKE HIM! Zoller is such a kind and understanding professor. He accepts late work up until the end of the semester for full credit. Every week is a new module with a quiz and a discussion board. The topics are super interesting and fun to learn about. He pre-records lectures, posts youtube videos, and articles. Light workload. I enjoyed the class!

He's sooo fun. When I had this class back at the beginning of 2020, the class environment was so warming and I never skipped a day. The discussions we would have in class belonged to a podcast-- it was an amazing experience. Really understanding professor and grading are not that heavy.

Professor Zoller is the best teacher i've ever had hands down. The workload for the class is easy and each week there a discussion and quiz all open note. Loved Professor Zoller. This is probably one of the easiest classes and easiest Professors you could possibly take. He gives good lectures every week as well as gives us the chance to engage in the topic. He isn't strict on late assignments or attendance, he just wants to see you are engaging with the material and have a general understanding.

I took him when COVID was just starting & we had to switch to online classes. I couldn't complete all my work but he passed me with a C. I definitely recommend taking his class, easy to pass! Cool lectures and he's chill/friendly.

AWESOME!!!!! I only got a B because I chose the assignments and quizzes I wanted to complete. He gives more than enough time to complete everything. There is an overwhelming amount of long videos. The class is heavy on Discussions and Quizzes. So participate in discussions.

This is a great class. It is not an easy class but it is very interesting. There is a lot of reading, you really need to pay attention to the details of the videos. You will have to re watch it again. What I really enjoyed about the video materials, it gave you insights to gaze about other things. It is not easy to get an A, without spending time.

Weekly discussions and quiz's. He does use "Turnitin" for his assignments which makes you use your own words and you cannot copy and paste. This is an overall easy class if you do the work. All of the answers for the quiz's are in the "texts" category for each module.

Prof Zoller has got to be one of the best professors out there. He wants you to pass the course. I took the class in person and it was pretty simple and the exams are not that difficult. I would love to have him teach all my classes. Trust me when I tell you to take him for all your classes!

His class is easy. Discussions are weighted more than quizzes. Quizzes have no time limit, at times we had to watch long documentaries and take a quiz on the documentary. His class is time consuming if you watch all the documentaries but he sometimes provides time stamps for the answers.

Prof Zoller was probably the best professor I've taken in crc. He gives good feedback, is an easy grader and is nice. I didn't think I would find humanities interesting but how he taught it was just interesting. If you missed a day or assignment he would double check with you and make sure you get the points. Would definitely recommend to take him.

Professor Zoller is hands down amazing. He really wants you to succeed in his class. He has this vibe about him that is just genuine. He responds rather quickly if you have questions, literally no more than a day. If you fall off track he reaches out to check and see how he can help. Hands down one of the best teachers a crc. Very nice and he definitely does not give heavy loaded homeworks or exams because he knows most of the students taking his class are taking major and harder subjects. his tests and quizzes are open notes and you don't feel pressure when making essays and stuffs because he's very generous when grading!

PLEASE TAKE HIS CLASS. The exams are really easy, he lets you prep for the questions so they're technically open book -- just make sure you give detailed answers for full credit cause that's what he's looking for. Exams are also group-based. Final is group-exam or your own travel booklet. I love this guy so much, I want to take him again.

The professor cares about you as a student and the work you submit. He understands if life is not going great and will give extensions. Tests are pretty easy and open note/canvas. Exams are small-medium paragraphs about certain topics. He is amazing 10/10 recommend. Great personality and understands that students have other classes.

If you have to take a Humanities class, TAKE MR. ZOLLER! I cannot stress that statement enough. His class is so easy and very interesting. He also is very caring and considerate towards his students. Don't be afraid to ask him for help because he wants to make sure that you pass his class.

I took this Fall 2023, I really liked the material, it was straight forward and I learned quite a bit. With that said, it was clear, uncomplicated to complete, and he was incredibly supportive when I needed extensions due to having a heavy load of classes. Professor Zoller, You are awesome!!!

He does give you feedback on your exams to prepare you for the next one and what you can fix which I loved! He was always super nice to everyone and he stays with you if you need help. This is the second time I have taken Professor Zoller (I took HUM 301 first) and this is the second time I'm giving him a 5/5. This class was a little bit harder but that might be because of the different classes. He is so caring and genuinely wants you to get a good grade. Take him he's great.

Every lecture was relevant to the exams and I attended every class. There is homework, but it's very simple and there's not much of it. He structures his class and exams very well and in ways where you not only learn a lot, but also pass. One of the best professors I've had and absolutely would take him again. Four exams total, allows notes.

Zoller is the chillest professor I've had. His discussions are structured but you have creative freedom in your posts. There's a quiz almost every week, you can use your notes in them, the midterm and the final - they aren't timed. As long as you take notes and quotes on the films, documentaries, and readings, you'll do fine on the exams.

Mr. Zoller is truly an amazing professor!!!!!!!! He's very understanding and such a chill guy. This class was very easy and I actually did find interest in the things we learned over the course. And I usually lose interest in many things but Mr. Zoller always managed to keep things fun. I wish I can write more but the word limit on here is 350 :(

Mr. Zoller has to be the best humanities prof on campus so I really suggest choosing him when you're enrolling into classes. He lets us use study guides on all exams AND the final (thank god). He definitely cares for everyone and does his best to make sure everyone has a good grade in the class. He's very relaxed and formative in his lectures!👍🏻

Pretty chill guy and very understanding. Just show up to class everyday and complete your daily participation beforehand. Homework is usually a reading, quiz, and the participation answers for the next class. Study guides are allowed for exams. Classes are just a lecture. He gave me a better grade for one of my exams than I deserved hes a real one!

The most CHILL Professor I've had so far. Very understanding and easy on everybody. Try to attend his classes as he does assign a pop quiz every now and then, but the pop quizzes are easy. Would most def take again

His lectures are also not boring at all and his teaching style makes me actually want to known more. Communication is very important, he's very understanding:))

Zoller is your ticket to an easy, free A & GPA bump. All you have to do is take participation quizzes before class & come to class everyday since the bulk of your points come from attendance. Even then, if you can't make it to class, just send a message and he excuses your points for the day. Everything on exams are on the study guides. Chill guy!

Actually took this class almost two years ago, and I learned a lot. All of the material is very interesting and not hard to keep up with. Assignments aren't hard, but do require you to think outside the box which I liked. Exams and papers were open notes and fairly graded. Extremely kind and considerate professor, I'd 100% recommend!

Professor Zoller was amazing, his lectures were very interesting and he made me want to participate. This was definitely my most enjoyable class by far Fall semester. He would let you use one page of notes on exam, would provide a study guide and would even offer to print our notes out. He was always very responsive to emails and texts. 10/10

Super kind and a very understanding professor, just talk to him! Accepts late work till the end of semester. Allows one side one page cheat sheet for exams. Reading and lecture quizzes for each class are easy. Seriously would take him again if it didn't go over my unit cap. He will reincarnate as a lotus flower.
