She is an excellent professor. easy, read the book, its only like 11 pages.each chapter and you only read abour 5 chapters easy assignments, 1000 word essay, such an easy topic, quizzes are about 10 questions, in the textbook, if not online. EASY EASY EASY! midterm, also easy in the book as well as online.

Prof karman is awesome, she gives clear instructions on each assignment. You will never fail her class unless you do not do your homework. She does accept late assignments.

Shes a very awesome teacher explained everything really clear to the students attendance was mandatory but other than that you shouldn't have any problems with her shes always available when you need help I strongly recommend her. :)

Quizzes and PowerPoints ever day, but the lessons are cake. The whole class is designed to give you an easy A to start off your college career. It's a cake walk. Dr. Tam is also quite funny!

Doctor Tam was a very thorough professor, the class work went according to the syllabus. Expect short quizzes every week that were super easy to pass if you pay attention to the slideshows in class. She has a very thick accent so it was a little difficult for me to understand her

You will be required to read a few pages before class in order to pass the daily reading quiz (given at the beginning of class). All assignments are clear but she is happy to answer all questions. Great professor! Expect lots of reading and quizzes but they are all open notes. The quizzes are simple and are there to help your grade out. She grades for attending class so that is a easy grade. If you do all her work which she is very clear about then you should pass for sure ,btw she accepts no late work no matter what.

I took Mrs. Tam for a Summer II session in 2015 online and her course was pretty easy, she responds to emails on time and gives great feedback, you will have a quiz over each chapter she assigns, 1 major paper/power point due and final exam but if you read you will pass. Easy A!!!

Shes the greatest. There are plenty of assignments that need to be completed BUT they are all easy. She has everything posted and gives you the opportunity to finish all the HW, quizzes, and tests right from the 1st day of class. She is an english major as well. If she ever taught english 1301 and 1302 i would take her in a heartbeart!

Discussions, chapter quizzes, and end of class quiz every week. Some Homework, two written reports, PowerPoint presentation, a midterm test and the final exam. She is a nice professor, but she gives to much work. For all the quizzes and exams there is only 1 attempt. All assignments are unlock from day one.

There is a quiz at the beginning of EVERY class. She is very organized and will let you know ahead of time what you need to do. There is a lot of work (hw, assignments, quizzes etc.) but it's very easy. 2 mini essays, 1 midterm and 1 final. Show up to class on time, make notes (you can use them in quizzes), and read the chapters. Overall, easy A.

Dr Tam is a great teacher! Although she never tolerates late assignments and gives a quiz almost every class, she is a very kind person who is in a great mood majority of the time, study and you should be fine in her class.

She is a very good Professor! You have to show up for class because she will take that as a grade. She is very straight forward, so don't take offense. Participation is a must as well and she has a little sense of humor. Another token she is very much into being prepared for success and a rainy day(the future). Overall you will learn a lot.

She is a strict teacher but is she also understandable and will excuse you as long as you have a valid reason. The most important point about her is that she truly cares for her students and want them to succeed. She would actually take the time to email students about job opportunities and scholarship. I had Prof. Tam for Educ 1300 Fall 2018 Semester. She is very nice and does attempt to make the material interesting, however, she really does make you work for the A that you expected to get from the jump. She's a critical grader, but as long as you show up to class and submit your assignments on time, she'll usually work with you.

She gives a lot of assignments but they are easy and didn't take much time for me. The class is pretty interesting and she will answer your questions. Make sure to submit everything in time!

I took her for 5 week summer online and honestly, TAKE HER FOR EDUC1300!! -assignments are easy and doable -Tests are EASY -She graded really fast. she would give feedback on what to improve on and lets you resubmit the assignment for a grade change on it -all launchpad assignments are available, i finished all of them on a free trial. This class is a breeze. Yes, there are assignments due mostly every week but it's nothing bad. Before enrolling this course, I also came here to look at her ratings and they did not disappoint. Took Framework as a dual credit student and was able to receive an A in the class. Manage your time wisely. Dr. Tam is considerate with assignments and gives phenomenal feedback. Was a great teacher and always kept class interactive. There were quite a few assignments but they were self-explanatory and Professor Tam always gave enough time, as they were open for completion since the first day. I haven' been back to college in 10+ years. This was my first course to take after returning to college. I was a little nervous about taking the summer 5 week course. It is very fast paced, But Dr. Tam is very clear in the syllabus about due dates. I liked her quick responses by email, usually within a hour or two. Also, her grading was fast.10/10

Each assignment has a rubric and an example of how to do it. She gives you a chance to submit homework earlier and receive feedback to get a better grade. She was really caring and my only professor out of three this semester who would response right away, always willing to work with you to improve your grade and helps you when you are feeling anxious. Even thought some of the assignments were difficult, she notified me of any of my mistakes I had made and I was able to revive my full grade. Professor was overall really good. Weekly assignments can all be done for the entire semester if you want. There was one issue. I accidentally missed one small homework assignment and I got a call the next day from the school saying they were gonna take me out of the class if my professor reports me again. She reported me for one hw assignment.

Dr. Tam was great. There were a lot of assignments, but if you turn them in early she will check them and provide feedback. I learned a lot in this class about resources at HCC and how to plan for my future career. I would definitely advise taking this class for EDUC 1300.

Hey guys. I have been with Ms.Tam for a semester and can say without a shadow of a doubt that I immensely benefitted from her constructed classes. When I say constructed, I mean in many different facets. She would have us do a Kahoot quiz to get extra points and to review the previous chapter we covered with her, and other assignments for grades.

Dr. Tam was great-I took this class online &Dr. Tam was incredibly responsive. Assignments are open from the first day of class. Everything is available online. If you can work on your assignments early, Dr. Tam will grade and allow resubmission! Dr. Tam is really detailed but no reason not to be successful in this class. Def do homework for tests

Literally the easiest class ever. You can finish the course pretty fast, since everything is open since the beginning. There are opportunities for extra credit, quick and reliable communication, and chances to get a higher grade on assignments. Definitely a great class!

I came back to school at 43 years old (also my first time taking college courses) and I was lucky to get Professor Tam for the first class I started. Her teaching style helped me gain confidence and her feedback always helped me improve my homework, so I graduated from her class with an A grade. I'm thankful for having her as a teacher!

Professor Tam is so good. I would take her again if she were teaching other courses. I don't know why people graded her low, she is so nice and caring. As long as you participate in class, pay attention to lectures, and finish all assignments you should be able to make an easy A. She readily explains all the material from your textbook to the final. I took Professor Tam's online anytime class and it was one of the easiest classes I've had. This was my first semester as a college student and the work wasn't overwhelming. You could honestly not read the textbook or study before exams and still pass. I would definitely take this class again

Took the EDUC online course so can't speak on lecturing ability, but the course was really easy. Lots of assignments and tests but they're so simple you can knock out everything you need to do for the week in a day or two. Didn't care for the actual class material but the professor is a good one to take.

Easiest A of my life. Just show up to class, follow her directions, and do the work. She gives plenty of time to complete the work. Although workload, it's fairly easy to finish. & she uses Kahoot!

I will take Professor Karman Tam's class over and over again.

This course was very information with helping navigate around the HCC websites/ campuses. All the assignments are open from the start of the course. She is very good at communicating due dates, up coming assignments and very easy to reach if needed. She gives a lot of extra credit opportunities and good, clear feedback on assignments.

Professor Tam is so nice, all her classes were fun and she always tried to make it interesting. She also gives you a lot of chances to improve your score.

When grading projects and papers, professor Tam deducts for a lot of small things BUT if you turn in your assignment early she will let you make corrections to get a higher grade. I bombed one of the exams due to a family emergency and then the test timed out and still managed to end with a very high A because of extra credit opportunities. Easy A

She is so nice, actually she was the best professor in this semester, I think her class is so important because you can learn about to have a good college life

Dr. Tam is a great professor. Because of her course, I understand how to navigate through my major. Her course has taught me how to study, what kind of learner I am and how to find balance and plan for my future. She was very helpful. Over all great professor!

Dr. Tam's class wasn't difficult at all! The pace of the assignments were good and the informational PowerPoints helped a lot. She gives a lot of feedback so you can get the highest grade if you turn in an assignment a few days before the actual due date, which she gives reminders for. This was really useful and beneficial! Professor Tam is such an amazing teacher. Easy assignments, extremely understanding, truly makes you feel like she wants you to succeed. Online textbook but homework is common sense and easy to get through without it, she also gives time for class assignments and most of the time will work through it with the class. One essay, one group project.

Professor Tam is the BEST teacher on planet earth! all of her lectures are extremely entertaining and engaging and she has so much sympathy for her students. I can say she does not accept late work but she is always sending reminders for her due dates.

Communication was easy, as long as you did it at the right time (no midnight emails). She makes this very clear in class. There are a decent amount of weekly online assignments, but it's very easy to do in one go. Engagement is very important. As long as you try to participate in class, you should have no problem. Took this course during Fall 2024

Professor Tam is an excellent professor for so many reasons. She would provide extra credit opportunities to help students achieve their dream grade. She is also very a caring and understanding person because she gives very good feedback on assignments to help students get better grades. I would definitely recommend Professor Tam for this course!

Prof. Tam was amazing. I love her and the way she explained everything. She was very good with her students! We can not use ChatGPT or anything like that. She will catch you if you use it, but over all she was good and respectful and she cared about her students, but she was very respectful and cared about her students.

Professor Tam is actually Amazing. She uses Kahoot for attendance, but even if you do bad, you will still get a good attendance grade. Lots of Achieve assignments but all very easy. She opens all assignments in the beginning, so I already finished all the work in the first 10 weeks and then just attended class. Funny and interactive with class.
