Tests are long with little time to complete. You cannot go back to questions so must answer before moving forward. Takes ages to post grades. Not great at responding to email. Had to get grades corrected due to her errors. Was not engaged in class like other online professors - almost absent. Paid for a class I taught myself.

For a 100 level class, it is difficult. I'm typically a straight-A student, and struggled very hard to get that A. There are PowerPoint slides every week, along with readings and a journal entry. There are 3 tests , a cumulative final, and a 5-7 page paper. She is available by email, and very kind when answering. DO THE EC IN MOD 1! It helps.

AVOID! this class is so extra for a 100 level course. I got all As in my upper level accounting courses, and got a B- in this ridiculous class. If that doesn't put it into perspective for you, I don't know what will. There are easier, IN CLASS, options that you should take instead.

there shouldnt be a reason to struggle so hard in a 100 level class, yet here i am. this class has a heavier courseload and exams than all of my 300 and 400 level classes combined. She seems like a very nice professor and she cares, but too extra for a 100 level class. If taking this for a easy senior year core requirement- pick a different one

Professor Couch is AMAZING!! You can tell she loves geography. The class is a LOT honestly, but there are a lot of extra credit opportunities. Take notes & read the lecture ppts and youll be perfectly fine! She is so nice & was so helpful during the pandemic. I would definitely take one of her classes again!

Professor Couch is probably one of the sweetest professors I've ever had. I took her for Climate Change and she really knows what she's talking about. She is so caring and wants everyone to succeed in her class. You will not regret taking her class. She responds very quickly outside of class and is willing to help in any way that she can.

I have prof. Couch for Meteorology and Climate Change (GEOG419), and I'll have her again for another class. She is SO nice! Very relatable and laid back. Work load might seem like a lot but I think is appropriate for a 300 level class. She is THE best prof. at Towson! 3 exams + final that is cumulative, weekly hw, weather presentation project.

Does the absolute most for a 100 level course. I took her summer class and she had absolutely no empathy with the amount of work she assigned. Loads of work with short amounts of time to complete it. Exams are 50-75 multiple choice questions and 4-7 essay questions. I would spend my whole day on her exams. She is nice but wild inconsiderate.

Professor Couch is amazing I personally think this class has a lot of work, 3 test, 8 exercises, mini project, mini project and final project, but she is willing to help you, not a tough grader. There is a great amount of opportunity for extra credit and her lectures a very fun.

Her online class was so easy to manage and I loved the consistency of her modules and map quizzes, you always knew what to expect. All the answers are in the power points and her map quizzes were a little more difficult but manageable. Take her, online or in person, she is so nice:)

She was perfect all year, I literally did not open up a textbook once so I don't know if there was one. For the final, she makes it optional and replaces your lowest exam's score if the final exam grade is higher. Very caring and accessible out of class, if you ever needed it. Great first semester at Towson with her!

class has a HEAVY reading but light workload, the PowerPoints have the answers to quizzes and exams. Biggest thing is you CAN'T go back on questions. After failing 2 exams, I was still able to pass with a B because of the extra credit she does for the course surveys and course evaluations. Take if needed but know this class is A LOT of reading.

She is amazing don't get me wrong, super understanding and what not but the workload ???!?? for a core class??? and on top of that she doesn't grade lightly so you spend copious amounts of time on work and still get graded harshly. She expects you to read and has assignments due every week day which is bizarre.

She was nothing but a headache for this semester. On top of her unprofessional grading she has way to much work for such low level class. She needs to go teach history class or something. Anyways she was terrible to me please beware of this professor in any way you interact with her. Also she has an immature side to her with how she speaks.

Great professor but honestly way too much work for it to be be an online core class. I used chat the entire semester and thats the only reason it was smooth for me. She gives a lot of extra credit within her powerpoints so make sure to do them because they genuinely boost ur grade.
